60 of 160 · most liked firstDon't be fooled by the new cut-scenes or paint job, this game is worse than the original. Having fully completed the Flash version using mouse controls then to have them missing is infuriatingly pointless. Then there is the minor bugs, don't even get me started on the change of the "sky's the limit" achievement being made infinitely more fun sucking from 65k to 100k for whatever reason. All this coupled with the fact that the FREE version was more enjoyable is just downright baffling. I love…

We started out making Flash games 15 years ago but released on mobile, PC and consoles as well. We made the Burrito Bison series, Knightmare Tower, Toto Temple Deluxe just to name a few.

unlabelledView post →like juicy beast's most other games (that i know of) this game is grindy ALSO like juicy beast's other games, juicy beast somehow manages to do it without it literally ever feeling repetitive. you're always gonna be finding new stuff. however, what i feel REALLY makes this game shine is (number one the intro cutscene looking straight out of a gildedguy animation, seriously it is genuinely peak in the exact same why gildedguys animation style is) but TWO, the main reason, is how there is a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As beautiful as the flash version. If you don't want to buy it however I recommend to play the flash version on Flashpoint.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the game itself - played a ton of it on mobile and as a flash. This version however I would not recommend to get into, unless you have an urge to 100% it on Steam, like I do. It has critical bugs and the least preferable control scheme. Bugs: - Full screen has insane screen tearing that is not fixable. You will be playing in windowed mode the entire play-through. - It likes to permanently freeze from time to time. Happened to me around 10 times. - It says it supports controllers.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game. I feel like it has a lot of potential for a sequel. They gotta make this into a roguelike with upgrades and more bosses.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play this game when I was a child, so I like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →yes, it was originally a free flash game I never played, but the transition was done well enough, except this has no mouse support. paying more (or anything) for less is not cool but the free version is still around and I had no problem with the keyboard, had a lot of fun (and frustration) many years ago.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice! There's lots of fun to be had with that. The likes of Duck Game, Knightmare Tower, VVVVVV & Don't Look Back.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#VideoGames #RogueLite Played Knightmare Tower by @juicybeast.com juicybeast.itch.io/knightmare-t... I liked this game way more than I expected. Once I got into the rhythm of bouncing off enemies and upgrading my gear, I had to literally ask my boyfriend to pull me away from the computer. 🧵

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Almost a perfect release of the game. Highly enjoyable classic from back in the day, but has a few issues. No native 1920x1080 support, and No mouse support. The no mouse support is... perplexing considering the original free flash game had it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reaching 100k+ is not an eay feat, very luck based. I remember playing this game on Newgrounds several years ago.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Knightmare Tower plays similarly to those endless runners, except instead of running horizontally you're vertically ascending a tower. As you ascend you "dash" downwards to defeat and bounce off of enemies. Chaining bounces leads to speed boosts, and enemies will sometimes drop items such as money or potions which can be collected. Accumulated money can be used to power up your life bar, attack power, movement speed, etc. If you beat Story Mode you unlock Endless Mode, and I was able to get all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the finest games I've ever played. I'm serious. The progression curve, the difficulty balancing, the kinetics of combat, the sense of humor, the skill ceiling (*rimshot*) - it's all superb!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I almost cried when I defeated the boss... Yes, I'm this bad at games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game manages to do so much with so little.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Greatest flash game roguelite of all time. Now on Steam. This is technically the 666th review of this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developed and published by Juicy Beast, Knightmare Tower is an energetic arcade action game that proves an uncomplicated concept can become remarkably engaging when supported by polished mechanics and rewarding progression. Built around the idea of launching a fearless knight upward through a monster-filled tower, the game delivers an experience that blends fast reflexes, hack-and-slash combat, and persistent upgrades into an adventure that is easy to understand but difficult to put down. Its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved the original online version growing up but this version is so buggy and I've had to restart a couple of times in only a little bit of playing. For some reason it does not have any mouse controls, which were my preferred method of control originally.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember this game as a flash game a lot when I was younger along with burrito bison. Still fun and simple game and was enjoyable playing it again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's everything you'd expect and nothing more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not fun achievements, but fun gameplay loop (for 6 hours, pretty boring afterwards)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth the money. It's by the same people that made the fun Buffalo Bison games (currently only on mobile devices). Early game is boring, by the mid game after you have unlocked a few things, specifically powerups, then it's fun then late game is challenging but not particularly fun. Would have been better with fewer or cheaper unlocks rather than the forced grind that it is. That's my biggest issue with this game, I'm forced to Endless mode is unlocked after you beat the game Don't think…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and sweet with unique gameplay. Something I grew up with. There's no reason not to spend a few hours playing this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one time back when i was in 3rd grade i found this game while in a computer class. me and my friend played this the whole time and i loved every second of it but i lost the game forever not knowing what it was called. so i'd go on google and search up things i remember about the game and no luck. until yesterday, i recently built my first computer and installed steam and to my rememberence i searched up on google "knight in tower game" and alas the game i had been searching for almost 6 years…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a Knightmare to finish.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a surprisingly great game. My only gripe is the one 'don't dash for 25 seconds' achievement haha. I'm trying to go through a whole campaign in fewer attempts than the amount of princesses.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just like Burrito Bison, this game is awesome. Can't stop playing either of them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was incredibly fun, and a wave of nostalgia. I loved the cutscenes and the mechanics of the game, Hack and slash mixed with bullet hell, and several cool monster and armor designs. I had fun 100%ing the game. 10/10 game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As I remember it from my high school days, but far more polished and smooth! If you want a quick 'race the lava and beat up monsters' game, I'd highly recommend this!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Certified hood classic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty cool game with Icy Tower vibes. The final boss broke during the fight (making it unbeatable) but who cares.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i paid for a free flash game and dont regret it at all
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game indeed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →iz game where u climb tower for an harem and upgrade ur gear by selling monster meat at the local market. very gud
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good clean fun! Use a controller
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but enjoyable game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well it is a fun game although it is kinda buggy tho i hope they still plan on porting more games to steam
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please, for the love of all that is holy, add mouse control back in. I can only play it for less than 20 minutes before my hand feels like it's about to fall off, and I really want to be able to play this game for longer. Other than that, great game. 8/10. Edit: I was holding my hand poorly for this, the problem was on my end. 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →at less this game on steam since it not on kizi any more tho W dev tho
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't say i don't recommend it but it lacks mouse support which makes original better in my opinion...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although pretty short and with a lot of outdated humour, it was still a fun game to play through to 100%
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →absolutely peak flash game that i played the hell out of when i was little, has the cleanest gameplay, fluid animations, satifying sound effect and music to hum along with. i am so glad that it wasnt just ported on steam with no changes, the devs really showed how much they care for what they created and that warms my heart. i just wish there was more, beat the whole game in 3 hours. 10/10 would recommend for its beautifully generous low price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Read this before you buy! If you have never played Knightmare Tower before, I highly recommend that you try it out through Flashpoint, since this is a re-release of an Adobe Flash title (all of them being free-to-play). With that being said, Knightmare Tower is still one of the best games to come out of Adobe Flash, and the Steam release has a lot of differences and improvements that you should consider if you already like the game. To start with, as many people have said, the Steam release…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am nostalgia-blind for Knightmare Tower. Just play it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun overall
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so nostalgic for me, remember playing it on the web browser, gorgeous art style awesome gameplay, one of my favorite short and sweet old browser games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game from the good old Flash Era. I beat every achievement there and I did it all here too. Good for a game if you just want to play something for an afternoon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A wonderful game! This was the third time I replayed it and it's always so much fun. Can I have more please?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little game, if a bit hard
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Make Knightmare Tower 2
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10 100% Completion Rating: ☐ Life-Stealing ☐ Infuriating ☐ Hard ☑ Annoying ☐ Doable ☐ Alright ☐ Easy Peasy Knightmare Tower is a fun game to play casually, but a literal nightmare to fully complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really fun Steam port of one of my favorite flash games! If you enjoyed the flash game, this is definitely worth checking out, even if only to support the developer. A couple notes for those familiar with the flash version: this one doesn't have mouse controls as an option, but adds controller to the mix. Also, the survival challenge and final boss are definitely more difficult. I beat the 100k achievement after pausing partway through to do my Duolingo. That dang owl must have sabotaged…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little arcade game, a little expense for a little experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and easy gameplay without much challenge but for 1 or 2 achievements. Good for short gameplay sessions and is pretty fun which is the most important thing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great flash game ported to Steam. Just three movement options: Left, Right and Dash, a bunch of monsters and upgrades that you have to grind for by killing monsters that get stronger as you get further up the tower; you can't go wrong with such simplistic gameplay. The monsters do present a bit of a challenge, especially the ones that shoot, and, for the most part, you can see their evolution as you continue your ascension to save all the princesses and unlock the final floor.…
