Damn I tought it was a Rogue-like where you would play and improve your units / castle unlock new cards, its not. Its a basic strategy game where cards are given and you build a village / defense with limited options. Its very simple and not very replayable, damn, my bad. Its not terrible but deffenitely not what I expected

If you’re looking for a quick-hit roguelite with card-based mechanics, this game will catch your attention at first glance. There’s a compelling foundation here: you’ll manage a settlement under siege, draw cards to deploy troops and buildings, and fight off relentless waves of enemies. The card system itself is easy to grasp and delivers those satisfying deck-builder moments, and for short bursts of play, it offers that "just one more run" feeling. Some players will find themselves drawn in…

Build by day, survive by night. Kingdom's Deck turns me into a card-wielding monarch, making tough choices like “should I feed my people or build another wall?” Spoiler: Walls are always the answer. I’ve got a kingdom to protect, and these cards aren’t playing themselves. 🏰🃏✨ Follow my curator page for more deck-building dilemmas, magical moments, and kingdoms where the walls are your best friends! 🌿👑✨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/

Game is very mid tier. Nothing horrible, nothing great. If the screenshots and video look shallow to you, that's because the game is. The game is farrrrr too easy on the normal difficulty. You should not be locking the harder difficulty behind having already completed the map. The game isn't interesting enough to warrant replaying parts of it. Just let people decide for themselves if they can handle the "challenge"

Nope. Got done in about 6 hrs, just not enough content here. Dev needs about triple the amount of maps, skill tree or something, building upgrades, tower upgrades and soldier/archer/axeman/wizard class upgrades. I typically like these kind of games but this one is ridiculously short. Got to level 22 in Dargost realized it's probably endless and zzzzz for a couple more hours until back away slowly, so boring and redundant at that point.

The game is aight but it has a few issues: - You can't restart just the fight section - you have to restart the whole day - You can't speed up the fight like you can speedup the day section - The difficulty ramps up too fast early game and too slowly late game - Wall placements are awkward - You are forced to create every wood wall before you can upgrade to stone - Levels are too short, the game ends before you are able to make a cool base - The maps aren't replayable and grinding 100%…

Mediocre at best. This is very much my sort of game, or it's supposed to be. The problem is, it's nearly all dependent on what cards you get dealt. But you get to restart each day if you fail. You WILL fail if you keep playing with bad hands. In practice you keep hitting restart till you get a decent hand, then you win. This isn't fun. The game as it stands is dull. Wish I could refund.

I LOVE these types of games and always get excited when I find a new one to try. So far, I've encountered things that other reviewers also pointed out. Like having enough food but all my units and villagers disappear some nights randomly. Also sometimes the villagers don't go home at night and it bugs out really bad to where they don't even produce resources anymore even though it shows a villager on that node and I can't add another one on it so I just have to wait for a new resource node card…

It just doesn't spark joy. The choices are very limited. You don't even get to really go over the choices because of the time restraint The choices feel very bland The battles are repetitive and don't offer a lot of choice either The rebuilding of structures is weird: You don't get to choose the order/ I don't even know if they cost resources to rebuild (it's not indicated or explained, would have expected something for this in the tutorial mission) and you have to reassign your villagers to…

Unfortunately I have to agree with the bad reviews on this one. Game simply isn't fun or polished. The management part is doable and if it had more to in that department, it could be even better but as it is (and it doesn't appear to have unlockables), it's really limited. Then you have the bad part, the combat. It's clunky and unbalanced. Soon enough enemies come through the multiple portals that are stronger and in bigger numbers than your troops. Sure, your troops can resurrect but even so,…

wow so... my walls kept being destroyed 24/7 within seconds, the enemies outnumbered me by the hundreds on day 3, the upgrades to my towers increased the damage by maybe 5% while being so expensive and rare that you never find them, the villagers and soldiers you can have are extremely numbered, yet they die like flies (there is a chance that they will revive, but you will defo have losses every day), new special enemies spawn every 2 days, yet the spells you unlock do almost no damage against…

For what it is. This is a beautiful game with all the makings of a great tower defense game. I only played this for about 6 hours and the progression with new things is fed to you at a constant rate. Both boons and enemies. This was made by a single dev and they did a wonderful job on this. The modern gaming landscape has warped people into not really understanding what a bad game is. Bare in mind I picked this up in 70% off sale so it cost me the same as a bottle of fizz. It is simple and easy and once you have your strategy that works you can repeat that until you see credits roll. It's shallow but there is some mental engagement required, it looks pretty, it functions as intended with no bugs. A real shame as I feel with a £5 price tag instead of a £8.50 tag than the reviews…

The game is fun, but far too short. I played for 1 hour and only two maps are left. Half of the achievements are unlocked. I haven't seen any endless mode or anything like that either. Someone said something about 10 hours. I wish it was that long then it would be worth the money, but for 1-2 hours it's not worth the money.

Game has okay idea at start, but execution is bad. Defense building is very limited, walls are forced to place in odd or bad spots and they are like paper which slows enemy wave for few seconds. After few maps the monsters are just super powerful and will always reach your town center. So best defense is to hold all units and tower near town center instead of near walls. Random encounters in town center or castle of giving materials for some soldier or meat is most of times a very bad trade.…

It's really clunky, controls don't work and are awkward, the gameplay is painfully ... painfuulllyyy boring, the graphics aren't polygonal they're just bad, and it's just an overall extremely unrefined game. Endless Mode isnt fun. The amount of farm that u get and elite units is <3%. And the difficulty increase is annoying. Everywhere healers that heal 5 times more than u make damage after already lvl 20. It gives u the need to look for some exploits. Doesnt worth.

I love deck building roguelikes but this game aint it sadly. Its missing some major UI improvements (why am I stuck at looking at 2 cards at a time, why do I have to pause at the start of a day and after picking a spell piece to play optimally its just tedious) needs a harder difficulty and/or more choices. You can play the later levels pretty much all the same always get wood/gold/stone/2x vill with 2 farms at the start then with good micro you can easily beat early levels. IT NEEDS CHOICES…

Pros: - Smooth fluid game-play - Not overly complicated - Multiple levels - Plenty of room for more maps/add-ons. Cons: - Sometimes the game gets stuck paused when in the market and only way to fix it is to start the fight (I think it happens if you go into the market and the day ends). - Would be good to have an indicator on how many wood/gold/stone you're producing…

Game's concept is great, graphics are cute, but the gameplay gets difficult fast without the option for any permanent upgrades. Also I'd love for the enemy to path through holes in the walls instead of just going straight for the first peace of wall it gets in its way. The walls feel useless, except for a few seconds of delay before they are destroyed for the day.

The idea is good but the actual gameplay left me wanting a lot and I am not going to lie, this felt more like an early access title rather than a fully fledged release, I had to double check and this pushed me to write this negative review... Workers generate resources after certain time passes but there's no info on how long that time is. On top of that, I don't even know why I want to gather x amount of resources. Too RNG for my tastes. Feels like I don't get enough of what I need or the choices are between the 4th producer or 30 of that product when I already have 300. Enemies do a ton of damage to the keep and your soldiers do pitiful damage vs them. Melee seem especially bad because they will die if overwhelmed and depending on the mode, won't come back. But stacking all crossbow keeps them alive but they don't do very good damage. Game feels like there should be some meta shop where you improve…

Fun to play until it kind of repeats. Each map starts with the same power you unlocked with the previous map. Eventually everything just gets chaotic and more reliant on fallen grave sites to revive your soldiers. Each soldier is different, but nothing stands out. So it gets redundant.

So far there's nothing wrong with the game. My only worry right now is that I might finish it too fast. - Pick one of two cards, build, repeat until deck's empty. - Make sure to manage resources, defenses and villagers. - Defend. A very good game-loop and huge extra kudos for builders who will repair all that's lost during the night - if there's enough time. Only thing that's odd, trees, stones, nothing matters for the buildings. Seem to be purely decorative. Then again, folks have legs,…

Solid. It is the usual "build up your base/economy/army during the day, fight progressively stronger enemies during the night" setup. The twist here is that during the day phase, your options regarding new buildings, units, or resources come in pairs, and you only get to pick one of the options from each pair. You draw a certain number of such pairs every day, and then you have to decide: build a windmill to grow the economy, or get a swordsman to strengthen the army; recruit a unit, or…

You’re playing quickly without needing a long tutorial. • Good “one more attempt” pull: When a run goes bad, it’s easy to restart with a better plan in mind and immediately want to see if it works. •…

I will be playing some more after the first map or challenge. Maybe some of the people put soldiers with a button selected with a specific order of defending a spot with limited movement.

It takes familiar elements from deckbuilders, city builders, and wave-based strategy games and fuses them into a single loop that revolves around preparation, adaptation, and long-term planning.
