Ken Follett's 'The Pillars of the Earth' is not my sort of book at all but this huge historical epic is a masterclass in story-telling. I read over a thousand pages in six days. Breathtaking. My review: bit.ly/4ueFxZT #Booksky 💙📚 #Literaturesky #Books 📚

I'm curating a list of popular prose-to-videogame adaptations and would love input! My list right now feels far too short. Here's what I have: - The Witcher III - Shadows of Mordor (LOTR) - Chamber of Secrets/LEGO (HP) - Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth - Elsinore (Hamlet) - Nancy Drew games

So this visual novel game called Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is on sale for $2. I picked it up because I generally like this genre. I'm really enjoying it. The story, art style and voice acting's been great. VERY moody. It's based on a book. store.steampowered.com/app/234270/K...

I'm excited to talk about Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth on this week's podcast! I wish I had more time to devote to it. It's a fantastic adventure game and an excellent novel adaptation. If you've never played it, you absolutely should!

Funny thing when you read mostly on Kindle: no real concept of book length until you've been reading for 45 mins & only reached 1%. Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is huge. So was Jilly Cooper's Rivals. Normally read at least 120 a year (10 pm on av). Slightly fewer this time.

Tamora pierce! I got a battered copy of Squire from my library's book sale and never looked back. Most unhinged possibily reading Ken Follett's 'The Pillars of the Earth' at about 12. Definitely not age appropriate reading 😂 stole it from the adult bookshelf because I wanted a big book

One of the benefits of print books: an easy way to find people with similar interests. Yesterday I was reading Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth on the Metro and a woman walked up to say that she'd also read it and enjoyed it.

I've enjoyed playing this game so far, and it's cool that they make a video game of Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth - but I really want to know the story of how this got made. #KenFollett #ThePillarsOfTheEarth

More of Ken Follett's: The Pillars of the Earth for me. Currently on Book 2 of 3, so the optimist in me thinks I might be able to complete it this weekend, but I'm sure something will derail those plans! 😄

My mum rented out our childhood bedrooms for a while and a guest came from France specifically to visit Kingsbridge cathedral, the entirely fictional Gothic centrepiece of Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth. Mum had worked in Kingsbridge, and we lived there briefly, but he insisted it was real.

Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth. It's part of a series of books called the Kingsbridge novels collection (though Pillars is the only one I've read).
