unlabelledView post →Remember Giant Bomb's origin was because Gerstmann said Kane and Lynch: Dead Men was an ugly game with unlikable characters and then refused to lie even with Eidos pressuring GameSpot. That's journalistic integrity at its finest!
unlabelledView post →WEDNESDAY APRIL 2 @ 1PM ET @vixibombae.bsky.social joins me for a game we've been putting off playing together for two years: KANE AND LYNCH 2 Plus, it's my birthday! you have to be nice you HAVE TO BE THERE we're gonna play the WHOLE FUCKIN' THING (it's like 3-4 hours it's fine)
unlabelledView post →The game is total dogshit but the main me us for Kane and Lynch 2 were art
unlabelledView post →also telling that their "ethics in games journalism" issue was that there was a girl making an indie text game, not the time a reviewer got fired from IGN for saying Kane and Lynch: Dog Days was not very good
unlabelledView post →Just played and completed Kane and Lynch 2 with a friend split screen - 3 hours is all it took but a really fun experience. Split-screen games need to come back and I love when a game really commits to a certain style - holds up well anyway but feels very unique. Also love the Michael Mann influence
unlabelledView post →i'm having a memory walk back to when gamergate started and, like...a solid two, three months before people were sending death threats about ethics in gaming journalism, there was this...kinda big story about Gamespot giving Kane and Lynch 2, a truly ABYSMAL game, crazy high ratings
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch 2. Great ideas, terrible game, perfect 5/10
unlabelledView post →Best games I’ve ever: GTA 4, Baldurs Gate 3, Max Payne 3, Max Payne 1/2, Okami, Pokémon Blue, Batman Arkham Asylum, Zelda Link’s Awakening, GTA San Andreas, The Warriors, Resident Evil 4, Metal Gear Solid 3, Saints Row 2, Bioshock Game that kind of sucks that I love: Kane and Lynch 2
unlabelledView post →I have my first day off in ten days tomorrow and I swear to god all I can think about is playing Kane and Lynch 2 again. Absolutely dogshit game. It's so good.
unlabelledView post →People have been against game review sites for years way before gamergate. Do you not remember how big of a shit show the whole Kane and Lynch debacle that basically created Giant Bomb. You can call Ign shit without being connected to gamergate don’t get why your so keen in defending ign

unlabelledView post →What is even the point of having reviews for these massive franchise if reviewers cant give their honest opinion because the outlets profit from the game? Its Kane and Lynch 2 all over again
unlabelledView post →I have once again looped back around to thinking that Kane And Lynch 2: Dog Days is a good video game
unlabelledView post →You're telling me this game has Kane AND Lynch?
unlabelledView post →Finally, a game with a dedicated cocaine button. I haven't seen one of those since Kane and Lynch
unlabelledView post →That separation can collapse in those larger outlets too with the wrong incentives (I.e. Jeff Gerstmann getting canned from GameSpot for being unwilling to change his review for a Kane and Lynch game because upper management was getting pressure from Eidos and caved like suckers).
unlabelledView post →Ah, the last year before kids. I think the game released that year I sank my teeth into was Kane and Lynch Dog Days which wasn’t actually a good game; but had an grimy nasty aesthetic that more people should rip off; (I think this is the year I finally finished Dragon Age Origins). Now, boringly ME2
unlabelledView post →Pirating AAA games is fun and based the only AAA game I would not pirate is Kane and Lynch 3
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days- Utterly vile game about the worst guys you have ever seen getting into a perpetually worsening Situation because of their own stupid, cruel decisions. It's incredibly good but I am Shaken by it such that I don't see myself playing thru this again for a whilee

unlabelledView post →Are people really getting filtered so hard that their only recourse is to assume the game wants you to hate it? Because this isn't Kane and Lynch 2 making you listen to audio of torture on load screens, or Spec Ops the Line tricking you into bombing civilians. Silksong still wants you to have fun!
unlabelledView post →Not a great game, but Kane and Lynch 2 did a really neat thing where they tried to replicate "video streaming" in its aesthetic, which they filtered the entire game like it was being streamed. It did this one trick where violence would be blurred out, and it made it seem even more violent.
unlabelledView post →Stream Today-6:30 PM CT Kane and Lynch 2:Dog Days with @pecansan.bsky.social This game will inflict damage on you with trash writing, technical problems, stereotypes, and a camera that is actively trying to inflict motion sickness, enjoy our pain. unless it don't work twitch.tv/pokeyscrypt
unlabelledView post →do you think that whenever IO Interactive's James Bond game comes out they'll shove Kane and Lynch 2 as an easter egg in there yet again. I hope they show some restraint, nobody wants to be reminded of Kane and Lynch 2.
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch 2 This game is actively hostile towards the players. It's ugly, it's loud, it glitches, it's buggy. It feels like watching a direct to DVD movie on a pirate video website. I love it because it's the biggest example of how videogames can be art, and art doesn't have to be "good."
unlabelledView post →Just finished up Kane and Lynch 2. Honestly better than the first, but too short. Guess they were relying on the multiplayer. Yea, no one is fucking playing this game in 2024...
unlabelledView post →It’s so weird that we went from Gamespot getting roasted for firing Jeff Gerstmann over Kane and Lynch 2 being ass, and now game devs get roasted for not giving payola to youtubists to stream their games
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch 2 is also indirectly important to gaming culture because of that time Jerma and Etalyx had to beat the game on a timer (with the twist they gained or lost 2 minutes of time by how funny they were) and accidentally invented +2 and -2 as cornerstones of Twitch culture.
unlabelledView post →Kane And Lynch 2 might have some of the best voice acting and lines in a game I've played. two guys having the worst time possible and crashing out

unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch is actually a pretty good game.
unlabelledView post →Was prompted to think about it again because of a video game grid prompt— think its time to revisit Kane and Lynch 2
unlabelledView post →I never actually got to finish Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days because it is indeed a hatefully designed game with some really annoying bits but I admire its vision and will always defend it
unlabelledView post →Fun fact that actually originates from Jerma and Etalyx’s stream of Kane and Lynch 2, where every good/bad joke they made would give them +/- 2 minutes to complete the game
unlabelledView post →The closest I've seen is the original Kane and Lynch had Lynch players see random people as monsters to create tension in coop as one player kills random innocent people and possibly unnerving the Kane player It's interesting idea. A shame it's in that game lol
unlabelledView post →This fr fr. I tried to watch a retrospective review of the first Kane and Lynch game and within 10 seconds it devolved into that shit, instantly had to click off.
unlabelledView post →I know it’s supposed to be based on the Kane and Lynch games. But some context in game would be helpful lol.
unlabelledView post →Yo is that the Kane and Lynch prequel game?

unlabelledView post →At a weird point where I'm not sure what game I want to start next and the current two I'm debating between is a Final Fantasy XIII replay or playing Kane and Lynch: Dead Men for the first time.
unlabelledView post →I admit Guru Larry isn't always the most reliable source, but a lot of the stuff that he did cite is legitimate. Heck, here's a opinion piece from Game Industry in the year 2007 that mentions it when talking about Gertsmann and the Kane and Lynch scandal. www.gamesindustry.biz/a-question-o...

unlabelledView post →38. Kane & Lynch 2 Only adding to the idea that I'll take anything if it's free, it's a running joke in my workplace that I hate Kane and Lynch. Yet, here it sits, in my backlog. I will never play this game. You couldn't *pay me* to play this game.
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch forever. Fascinating game.
unlabelledView post →I get a whiff of STIs and piss every time i play Kane and Lynch 2. 'The Used-Needle Game' happens to be a great place for shootouts cooking in fluorescent lights and also the protagonists are unlikeable prix <9. This game is a loving hug from your drunk uncle, cant get that from any other game
unlabelledView post →KANE AND LYNCH MENTIONED!!!!1!!1!1!!11!!1!1!! god i fuckinf love the aesthetic of that game,
unlabelledView post →I'm just glad that IOI are publishing instead of spending dev time on another Kane and Lynch tier game.
unlabelledView post →They tried a linear and story-focused Hitman game in Absolution, but it didn't work. It was trashed. I don't think it was that bad a game. They released a cinematic art film-like game with Kane and Lynch 2, and it got really bad reviews. Square Enix pulled the plug on that.
unlabelledView post →also it looks like I got which Kane and Lynch game it was mixed up, too, but i mean that one i don't really care about
unlabelledView post →The story boys are back with our continued gameplay of Kane and Lynch 2 - this time in crisp clear HD! Perfect timing too because this is that popular bit in the game where our favorite crime duo run around naked in the rain all covered in blood! www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wtN...
unlabelledView post →You gotta explain Kane and Lynch 2?! I've played it once, and that was enough 🤣 (I love the first game)
unlabelledView post →*ducks into Josh's diner booth* Look before we start talking like that I need you to know that Kane and Lynch 2 Dog Days multi-player mode Fragile Alliance was so cool and I wish some new developed game would update that mechanic.
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch! I forgot about that unhinged game! Thank you for reminding me of it!
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days is one of my favorite games of all time. I don't think there will ever be a game like it, but if there was, I gave my ideas of what a third game could be. I don't know if they're all great, but I stand by most of this still! vgu.tv/2021/05/03/w...
unlabelledView post →Gotta be Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days. Absolute shit game to actually play, but the vibes are immaculate
unlabelledView post →Kane and Lynch 2 had the best marketing I've ever seen. I fucking loved the game itself, too. I think it was just a little ahead of its time for most people.
