The Puzzles are not that difficult to do but some may have you thinking. I am still playing the game; have not finished it yet....but wanted to write a review to dispel the one negative review that is posted below. Not sure what his problem is nor what game he is reviewing but it definitely is not a review of this game. Price is right…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY THIS GAME MANY ISSUES AND SHADY DEVS Let's begin with the techincal aspect, this game released on 01.11.2019 exclusive to Steam does not support the Valve Index. If you guys thought someone doing a Steam Exclusive title would support the Steam VR Headset, you are wrong. All other Reviews are FAKE ! I spotted this game once it came out, and within 5 minutes 5 keyreviews showed up. Ranging from 4 - 75 hours ingame time. All of these people were part of the dev team like testers,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →around 2.5 hours of game play. the Art style and story of the game is very well made. The Puzzles are not that crazy to do but some may have you thinking for a few minutes. really enjoyed the game and how it ended If your looking for a enjoyable chilled game with some puzzles but a lot of story telling this is that game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A stunning looking VR game that makes you feel like you're in a medieval painting of the underworld. The gameplay is good, solve puzzles to hear more of your memories and continue your journey through the underworld. Quick Video review: https://youtu.be/b5XGNXNM7nE I really dug the paddling of the boat to take you through the world and the use of musical notes to unlock areas was a nice touch. The artwork is what get s you though as it's only black and white apart from memories. It's just a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are prone to motion sickness, beware of the boat ride! Sadly I couldn't not handle it and had to refund the game because of it. I only played for 17 minutes and then I had to lay down for an hour because I felt so nauseous (yes I'm a lightweight!!) Otherwise I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the graphics and being immersed in the Underworld. I was playing on a Quest2 with a link cable with no difficulties. I'm just writing this review to my fellow motion sickness sufferers :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far this has been a incredible experiences 100% recommend this for the stunning visuals and gripping story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting mix of different VR game mechanics in a unique look. In the story, you "awake" in a state of limbo between life and death in ancient Greek mythology. Using a combination of well established VR mechanics like collecting items, solving mechanical puzzles, climbing and shooting arrows, you progress through a number of impressive environments. As you can see from the videos and images, this game is presented mostly in greyscale, which may not be for everyone. Also, the game mechanics…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOAT! The game starts with you walking off the edge of a cliff for no reason, and uses touchpad controls ONLY to turn (this isn't good enough on the Index controllers. The thumbstick does even do anything. turning could have easily been bound to that too!) All of that could be excused, if it were not for that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boat. It's unresponsive, frustrating controls try to be realistic, but just end up being frustrating when it thinks you're turning and you have to paddle round half…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has a very slow start and I had no idea what to expect. It's like if Disney did an educational tour of the underworld. But the environments are strike and the story is interesting. It ends up going in an exciting direction with some really cool climbing levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A brief, yet unique adventure on the river Styx and into the underworld shows to be a worthwhile and heartfelt journey. GRAPHICS Graphics are superb and are the best I have ever seen, hands down! The black and white nature of this game with some effects being golden and yellow fit the game's mood and themes very well. 2/2 Music/Sound Effects The music in this game is average and shows to be unique and awe-inspiring in later segments of the game. Sound effects are average as there is a nice…

I thought this was going to be a pure puzzle game but was surprised to find an interesting story on top of a unique adventure. One of the main things to stand out for me was the scope and scale of the worlds.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting and cool ame to play in VR ...if you dont own a VR you can still enter to play it and experience a bit of it but it feels wrong as this game wasn't created to play without VR. You will experience your journey from Underworld to the beautiful Elysium. A game worth to play and have fun in VR headset !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/KMQhGW2TXEc This is a nice game for what it is at this price. It's a narrative-driven adventure game. It's got some rowing your boat, playing a lyre, archery, platforming, and some puzzle solving (mostly finding objects, moving objects, or going through a maze). However, the action is all secondary to the story. It took me exactly 2 hours to beat the game. I don't want to give out spoilers, but basically…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yes, definitely. Get it. I held out for a long time and now just played it. Everything is superb. If you're one of those who leave a negative review, you got some real issues with standards. Story, direction, fluid gameplay, bugless, visuals, simple but thought provoking puzzles. It's great. FYI, I suck at puzzles but found em easy. I love that it keeps the flow and momentum going. Highly recommended, even if not on sale. I mean you'll probably blow your money on a 2 hour movie at a cinema or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reviewed with Valve Index + Knuckles The Graphics may be black & white, but it's STUNNING 🌹 ✔️Super engaging story-puzzles-action❗ ✔️Play at your own pace which is nice 👍🏻 ✔️Good Price too 👍🏻 Journey For Elysium - Commentary by The Mummy https://youtu.be/uBtfaoLPr5U
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Um really liking this game so far. Graphics, voice acting, and sound are really good and the game runs flawlessly. Support for knuckles is not that great but works as of (31/12-2019) Hopefully they will ad better support with an update.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic story-driven and atmospheric VR adventure. Great mythology setting and good motion controls. I like the colour-sheme and the puzzles of the game. Recommended not only for VR adventure fans. Check out my review video. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/xZv1iN_wZ-g

unlabelledView post →I'd give this game a "neutral" rating if I could. It's alright, not terrible. For simple scoring, I'd give this a 6/10. Get it for a price you feel is fair for a 2 hour puzzle-platformer. To get the main grievances out of the way first: 1. It was really quite head-splitting with the boat segments (that encompass about half the gameplay) and I'm very comfortable with VR - just an odd sensation with the boat's movement and shaking when you knock into walls. The controls for rowing the boat are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved the graphics and the interaction with the game. It worked well on my Quest 2 with the link cable to my Alienware pc too. What I didn't like was that I couldn't turn around and would be sideways and backwards in the game so always had to turn my head, couldn't turn in circles and scan areas with the Quest 2 controllers or at least I haven't figured out how.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I truly enjoyed this story-driven and atmospheric single-player adventure game that tells a story based upon Greek mythology in the form of a walking sim, exploration game (dramatic and beautiful environments), casual puzzle game and a bit of action (climbing and archery). To my surprise, it was made in my home country (Belgium - and I had no idea while playing it) and I hope to see more VR games from this studio. I finished it in a little more than 3 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting story, if not necessarily a happy one. I'd recommend this to people who enjoy story based games. It does have puzzles, but they're quite simple. Pros: - Unusual graphics that work surprisingly well - Rowing the boat works quite well, and is really fun - Well voice acted - Interesting story Cons: - The first part of the final boss battle was *extremely* frustrating - The presentation of the story could have evoked more emotion. I think it would have been improved if I was more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent VR content. - Beautiful and polished. Really great detail and landscapes. LOVE the color schemes with the B&W and colors only for importance. - Interactive - Immersive - Fantastic climbing and rowing mechanics - the best i have tried to date. Took some trial to figure out the rowing but once i got it it was super fun. Maybe its obvious to everyone else, but i started rowing one handed on each side. Instead, use both hands on the oar and drive the boat like a canoe -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watch my video here https://youtu.be/_v-HxPDwZPA Played on the Rift S. Graphical masterpiece of scale and beauty. Yeah most of it is in black and white, but there is no colour in the afterlife. Some amazing reflections. Audio is very good with an amazing voice acted story. Nothing 3D, but it's very good HQ audio. Gameplay: It isn't the best I've seen for a story driven game, but it does the job. I mean it really could of done with more interaction, more moments I felt I was doing something,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No. Just... no. This is an example of how to not do locomotion. You can't turn with the joystick (at least not with the index) and to turn it requires a swipe on the touch pad. Which its long and narrow, and intended for scrolling motions, not left and right. And the boat section? Well if you can't handle direct locomotion for any reason, it could be barf inducing. When moving you don't get any options for reducing motion sickness.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No. I had mixed feelings about this game, but the end helped me make a choice. I won't be recommending this game. For starters, let's look at the good things The graphics are pretty good. The composition in each scene is really awesome. I like a lot when the water goes down with the boat (the view is pretty impressive). I also like the game mechanics (bow/harp). So far, so good. G*ddamn the story... Holy cow! The story in this game is boring as hell!! A porno has a better plot than this!…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just got my VR set recently and really wanted to try this game. I really like the style and different mechanics (ladders, climbing, boat etc.), it's a great VR experience. However I'd like to notice that those mechanics are also the biggest disadvantage so far. Even with teleport movements, there are still a lot of unusual moving techiques and they really cause motion sickness (even the boat itself, also there are some moving down platforms). I'm not sure is it because myself just getting used…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game and learnt a little about Greek Mythology along the way. Spectacular settings on a truly mythical scale with interesting puzzles which, although for the most part are fairly easy, do get a little more challenging later on. The story line kept me entertained to the end. The narrative is delivered exceptionally well with a clear professional voice. Performance was not an issue for the majority of the game, it ran quite nicely at 200% super sampled on my 1080 card.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game in 2020, and it was one of the best VR experiences I'd had up to that point. The black-and-white aesthetic was used very creatively. The art style and level design were memorable. Some of the occasions were truly unique, and I had a few moments that I'll never forget. The puzzles were straightforward and unobtrusive, which is something I prefer in VR, especially when wearing one of those heavy headsets. I'd much rather take in the atmosphere and sense of discovery than deal…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a fairly direct puzzle game, wishing my archery skills weren't so crappy. Climbing Apollo's temple where playing the lyre to open handholds to get up to the next platform is timed, and the controllers had trouble keeping a grip. But overall, the story and path to completion is enjoyable and I finished in an afternoon. I recommend the locomotion method of movement. The teleport option doesn't allow you to easily turn around and since there is a big warning on the screen when you are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Story, Great Presentation, Great graphics, Great Game play This is a real beautiful art piece for VR Thanks to the developers for making this experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The mood of the game is excellent and I enjoyed it up to the final level, but climbing these towers is too much for me. I absolutely dislike this time pressure and action stuff, because I'm simply too clumsy for it. After falling down from the tower I don't know how often, being swiped off by these rotating stalagtites, I gave up. What is more, with the Index controllers it is simply not possible to rotate in place. I had to do it by physically rotating in my room all the time, permanently…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite enjoyed the game overall. It's art style is really pretty and as it mostly story driven the riddles in between are not too hard and pretty simple to understand. Downside is the lack of good Index controller support as the turning is done with swiping the right touch pad and moving with the left thumbstick was a bit choppy at times. The more I played the more I caught myself using both touchpads instead for the whole moving - worked a lot better though you need some time to get used to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good story told from a unique perspective with a good plot twist near the end, everything controls really well, fun puzzles to navigate around the whole game, I highly recommend checking this game out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Offers approximately 2-3 hours of beautiful scenery and mystery. One of the first vr experiences for me and I could handle it without teleports with regular breaks. + main voice actors are good + very atmospheric, especially in the beginning + In the game you travel with a row boat. The mechanics for that are great! I was able to avoid motion sickness altogether by going slow, it also fits the mood well. + puzzles and climbing mechanics do not overstay their welcome and never become a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd recommend this! A fun VR experience that takes you down into the underworld to explore the path to your character's afterlife. It's a bit of a depressing story, haha, but the game was very enjoyable! The climbing mechanic is something I haven't done in a VR game before, and it was really fun (and a bit of a workout!) If you want a fun game that comes with some new experiences, give this a play. My two little notes for the developers are these: (1) Sometimes the hand-grabbing controls were…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved it! Enjoyed the gameplay and story. Plot twist at the end really caught me off guard Works well on Valve Index
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a good game, but I liked to see underworld a little bit scarier.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game. I really enjoyed this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked it, it has the feeling of a finished game in VR, there are not too many of those yet. Played on the index, which works well. I particularly enjoyed the Aesthetics and the Narration. Although it is almost over narrated. The core mechanics are also well enough fleshed out. Somehow it gets nauseating after a while, the climbing can be a bit wonky, but it's not too bad.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game feels great to play, the voice acting is great. the surrounding is nice, gave me the creeps somethings and really dragged me in the game. The story is good (for what i have seen now), Puzzles aren't to hard but you have to think. Grafics are gorgeous, the black and white theme to the game is different then any other game but it really works. Have i seen any bugs? Nope, they polished this game. The UNREAL-Physics really work well. Good Job guys <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Being from Belgium myself I was curious to see how this game, made by devs in my own country, would play out to be - pun intended. I am a fan of puzzle solving games and mystery adventures, so the concept of this game was right down my alley. I just finished it after about 1.5 hours of playing. The puzzles themselves aren't too difficult and pretty straight forward while not being too easy either, so if you aren't the best at solving puzzles then I would imagine that it's still very enjoyable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely gorgeous. The art style is beautiful. The sounds add to the amazing atmosphere and the gameplay is fluid. I am not far into the story yet, but as far as I can tell the story is told well too. A couple of enjoyable achievements too. Very, very good game and highly recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great story with fun puzzles and interesting mechanics. The gameplay felt very smooth and polished. The motion detection of the hands was on point making it very easy to grab things, shoot arrows with the bow or play the harp. I do think the game is a bit short, because I am craving for more, but the experience was fantastic. I also enjoyed the boattrips in the game to just look around and explore.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am really surprised that this game does not have a lot of reviews. Based on my experience thus far, it is an excellent game. The atmosphere is right, the controls are right and the voice acting is top notch. The black and white coloring was a great choice as it paints everything with a sense of morbidity and desperation. An excellent game and I am enjoying every moment of it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Journey For Elysium is a VR adventure that transforms the ancient concept of the afterlife into a quiet, mysterious voyage filled with exploration, puzzles, and personal discovery. Developed by Mantis and published by Cronos Interactive, it places you in the role of a deceased traveler attempting to reach Elysium. Instead of relying heavily on combat or spectacle, the game builds its identity around atmosphere and physical interaction, creating an experience that feels closer to an interactive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice short trip for that price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the worst VR experiences I have had in a while. Near the beginning you are forced to use a boat that is almost impossible to control and constantly spinning slowly in a direction. Instant headache when it spun around automatically. Poorly done controls.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is short. I completed it in around 2 hours. But sometimes that is better for VR (as long as the price you get this for reflects that) I can't remember buying this TBH. I probably picked it up in a bundle or for cheap in a sale. If you get it on sale (it's very cheap usually) then this is a perfectly acceptable game. The graphics are B&W but good. The puzzles are easy enough not to be annoying, and the climbing sections are challenging but if you fail it was your fault. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game uses AI. Not worth your time or money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An atmospheric walking simulator complete with some basic puzzles and platforming. Enjoyable, but not worth full price, wait for a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game! Definitely worth the price of entry, especially the later levels get nice and challenging. I was missing some guidance here and there, but there's a massive thing that bothered me - the main narrator's voice is just not good. The performance is bad, the writing feels strange - it's this strange thing between "godly" sort of English and very down-to-earth basic street English. It just feels a bit disjointed. The other voice actors are great. So yeah, fun gameplay, pretty cool…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very disappointnig. I couldn't play it. There was no way to open inventory and menu on Pico 4. That is very weird since all other controls work just fine.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's pretty neat. Especially the last half.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In actuality, a great little VR romp. It is quick, but think of it as a play wherein you move from act to act and witness a story unfold after engaging in some 'VR basics' eg. simple archery, climbing, paddling... Annnnd the semblance of puzzle solving. You say you like climbing and archery games? Well Sonny Jim, fine. You like VR puzzles? Meh, okay. Also, not a great informational tool for ancient Greek culture. Conclusion a game that does some stuff, some cool, some okay. I say you determine…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Story: great. Graphics: great. Combat (archery): requires very good hand coordination, otherwise the arrow will fly anywhere but where you want it to fly. I'll give it 4.5/5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Agradable experiencia en vr, cortito
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles are for babies and the hardest part of the game is waiting for the glowing ball to stop talking.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It took me 1,5 hours to play through this. I didn't enjoy my time particularly much but to be honest out of the 30 or so VR games I've played I've only really enjoyed a handful. These VR games are so simple and usually with poor graphics and lacking gameplay. I'd say this is like in the best third (at the bottom) of VR games I've played so I suppose in the VR field I find this recommendable, but as a video game overall I wouldn't recommend this. I wish we'd have more VR games with as high…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →mostly black and white, low quality textures, vomit inducing and boring. the puzzles are really simple and dont offer much, the story is also not worth it, very slow and not engaging at all. It does everything a VR game should NOT do...
