A book is not a film. It’s a collaboration between a TEAM of artists, all of which are experts in their field & deserve JOBS.

unlabelledView post →THE best Steve Jobs film. I have watched this fiftyleven times & will watch it Fiftyleven more. No wonder Kate Winslet (a crush of mine) won awards for it. Also I know it makes @apopularmonster.bsky.social gush visualizing me watching a Michael Fassbender movie...which might be my favorite of his.

Unless they have a Walt Disney/Steve Jobs fixation, they bury film reels under the studio with cement/throw famous movie props in the trash. Guarded.

unlabelledView post →PEOPLE made that. Jobs for artists and the original "content creators". I've made a few movie props myself.
unlabelledView post →Rewatched a bit of Steve Jobs earlier. It confirmed a few things for me. It is still the best thing Aaron Sorkin has been involved with. I think it is a greater achievement than A Social Network, because the film is always on the side of the person confronting the main character.
unlabelledView post →The thing that bothered me the most about the Steve Jobs movie was how they handled Woz. Seth Rogen wasn't bad casting and didn't do a bad job trying to be him, but it felt like there was an undercurrent of disdain for him that I don't think Jobs in particular would have agreed with.

unlabelledView post →It shits on whatever the fuck was the Jobs movie or as I call it "Tryhard: the musical" that had Ashton Kutcher. I've had this opinion for decades.

unlabelledView post →The odds aren't looking good right now even with him being a "brand name". Remember that his screenplays for Steve Jobs and Being the Ricardos weren't nominated, so we may reasonably conclude that the writers' branch isn't quite so enamored of him they'll immediately support a film of his.
