positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Use dgvoodoo as a DirectX wrapper along with cutscene fix from ModDB and everything will run just fine. The game aged better than I expected. Combat is proper jank, but the platforming is surprisingly decent for what it is. Plus this game screams early 2000's and I cant get enough of this blocky phototexture asethetics. And of course this game belongs in the museum,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best INDY game around, got stuck on the kraken in Istanbul when i was 6 years old, 21 Years later i've completed the game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With the right mods, this is truly a masterpiece of a game. You don't get games like this anymore. 10/10, find a mod to fix the resolution, cutscenes, and controller support. Plenty of great guides out on Steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! For modern resolutions use dgVoodoo. Copy directx8, cfg and exe to game's bin folder in Gamedata directory. To unlock 30 cap I took info from gogs forum page: 1. Go to the game's install directory 2. Go into GameData > indy 3. Find the file called 'vars'. 4. Open it in notepad 5. The 'FPSLimit' option is pretty close to the top - set the value to 60 instead of 30.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's still good If you want it to work on modern pc's I found this gog thread had everything that you need. Proper resolution, proper Xbox Controller support (the base game doesn't completely support it) and setting the fps to 60. https://www.gog.com/forum/indiana_jones_series/emperors_tomb_controller_issues
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →so so so so freaking awesome !!!!!!!!!! combat is super fun, LOVE THE GRAPHICS, LOVE THE COLOURS, BEST ACTION GAME IVE EVER PLAYED !!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good very fun killi facsist
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tbh I would rather have this as a mixed review and since there are so many positive reviews, I'll put this one as a negative. For Indiana Jones fans, this game is fine, and I would recommend it to them, for everyone else its another story, as the gameplay has some glaring issues. To cut it short: + compared to infernal machine, melee and fists are a viable option in fights + good amount of weapons and usable things to defeat enemies + decent puzzles + soundtrack is good + has a bit of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love Indy and don't have a cutting edge computer to run the newest game, this is the game for you! Still fairly nice looking, good controls, fun story. I could play Ceylon (the first level) by itself over and over. I'd bet half of my 70+ hours are actually just doing that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate big white crocodiles!!!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot afford The Great Circle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! played back as a kid growing up. Bought it in 2024 for the nostalgia and boy oh boy, i freaking love this game, cant wait for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game when I was like 8 years old, I wanted to come back and see if it was as hard as my memories said.. YEAH THIS GAME IS TOUGH
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Childhood classic for me, even though I never got far as a kid, because this game can be quite tough. Mainly due to the annoyingly spread-out checkpoint system and occasionally clunky controls, the final spinning pillar section in particular was infuriating. But! It's still got some great levels and a ton of charm, despite the dated aspects.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like. Clever puzzles ,graphics and value for money. Dislikes. No "Quick Save" as with Infernal Machine. When you "die" you have to start the leg again from the beginning. This will infuriate most players. I nearly gave up many times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ridiculous platforming that is broken af. If you want to replay the same level over and over and over again, when your bloody whip doesn't work, then this is the game for you, masochist. I gave up.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is surprisingly fun and very well made! The combat mechanics is quite satisfying. Too bad it crashed on me multiple times, and I decided to abandon this game. I believe this it deserves a remaster! Play at your own risk cause I know there are few people that encounter the same problem as me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You are an adventurer from middle class, you thought you would live decently, but you found out that elite classes have made your back hole way larger and larger, especially in the last few years. So, adventurer, you cant afford the last fancy Indiana Jones with mandatory RT and an absurd price. You're actually poor even if they tell you're not, and you figured out how to get your games for cheap, in a way or another. No it's not te plot of a new Indy game , it's just the reason i got this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Indiana Jones and the Great Circle but Better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgia kicks in. played as a kid. Finished as an adult.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That's not gonna work.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I held onto my patience through the final chapter, but I get frustrated. The controls feel janky and delayed. Combine that with platforming sections that requires precision. The game randomly crashes whenever I Alt+Tab just to know where should I headed next, because the game didn't give any markers or precise objective. On top of that, there are no checkpoints. Die from an enemy, a trap, or accidental slip, you start from the beginning of the level.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a little bit clunky but still fun to play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb After fully completing Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, collecting every artifact and finishing the game 100%, I can confidently say this has become one of my all-time favorite games. Overall Experience From start to finish, the game delivers an authentic Indiana Jones adventure. It captures the spirit of the films perfectly: globe-trotting exploration, ancient mysteries, dangerous traps, and intense hand-to-hand combat. Finishing the game in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →that bigass alligator in the first mission has been killing me for over 20 years
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →That's not going to work
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun adventure game with an entertaining brawling mechanic and some simple puzzles. Platforming can be a real pain due to janky controls and camera. The last couple of levels are absolutely brutal with trial and error being the only way to figure out annoyingly long and convoluted platforming sections. Glad I've finally completed it after playing only for a bit years back.

unlabelledView post →childhood game so glad i was able to play it again hopefully i can finish the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is recommended, with caveats. It's a classic 3d platform game, but rather unforgiving in its difficulty. The moment you die, it's an instant restart to the previous checkpoint. This is also an interesting play as a precursor the new Indiana Jones game. When you lose your hat, you can pick it up again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easily in the top 3 greatest Indy games alongside Fate of Atlantis and the recent Great Circle. Has aged well imho in regards to the gameplay and for anyone craving classic Indy action its hard to go wrong here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Indy fights a kraken in Istanbul and beats up a fcking dragon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just completed this for the first time. I really enjoyed it but be warned about a really high difficulty spike towards the end of the game that almost had me rage quitting. I’m glad I picked this up and persevered because I thought it was really well done. There are some platforming and glitching issues which can be annoying. You cannot save where ever you want but it saves after each loading screen, thankfully they are all pretty close together and I only had to replay the last few levels a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems to run okay, but the controls don't work outta the box. I had better luck with the ps2 emulator. Zero hassle
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is annoying the hell out of me. My ex wife was easier to control than this stupid game! You can not save the game anywhere, so I am stuck on level 1 because I cant get the idiot to hug a wall to get any further. You have to constantly press the walk key because of the ridiculous speed Indy moves at. I give up!!! Infernal machine was 1000x times better!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a game that i played as kid more then 20y ago and never finished (got as far as the giant crocodile) and now im ready to finnish it :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ah the good old classic Indiana Jones game ( I didn't play Infernal Machine when I was young so this was one of my childhood games ). I still love everything about this game, the locations, puzzles and heck even the cast and it's even better knowing it's all canon to the movies and novels. Well one of the things that sucked was the clunky controls and the last few levels of the game where you had to time things perfectly, like the parkour for example, it sucked so much it was atrocious…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best Indiana Jones games ever..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgic classic. Still probably the best Indiana Jones game yet.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is my childhood and has aged like fine wine. better than gta6 could ever be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I beat my childhood game it only took me 15 extra years. Go play it but beware that resolution is bad you gonna need to find a third party fix or don't, I played without the fix.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game! One of the best Indy games out there. Wish it was more popular to warrant a remake/remaster, but the graphics still hold up after all these years. Great combat, interesting story!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great game of its era. One of my childhood games. I really love playing this back in the day and now I just bought it to play it a bit and have it in my collection, never forget it. If you can get over the very old graphics and controls I recommend this game 100%
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic game from start to finish. There were a few sections that were a pain in the ass (specially at the end) but other than that, the game is still one of the best Indiana Jones games made. I would recommend it easily to any Indy fan.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Take your time learning how to fight in this game, its actually very fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, feels like playing Uncharted with 2003 graphics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game's quite janky on the technical side of things, but it's a fun time for sure. The story is great and pretty innovative, the locations you visit have that good old atmosphere of the early 1900's, the soundtrack still slaps even to this game. And most of the characters feel like they actually belong in an Indiana Jones game. Sure, it may have not been Harrison Ford who voiced Indy in this, but I honestly think that even the voice actor responsible for Indy's voice has done a pretty solid job…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can see the age in this one. The controls are janky, the checkpoints really are "hit or miss" (mostly miss), the mechanics are stiff to the point where one faulty jump can cost you your life and you have to restart the WHOLE section, and the voice acting and story feel diluted and over saturated for an Indiana Jones "tale". Combat/gameplay is super repetitive, and the game itself is BUGGY as hell! - It will randomly crash on you. - You can't alt+tab unless you're prepared for a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Indiana Jones guy is pretty cool
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best game in history
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first two levels are awesome but the Istanbul level has the WORST level design I have ever seen in a videogame. Not only does it start out overly difficult, but afterwards, in the second second, you have to perform a bunch of whip jump with some of the worst input detection. I beat this game on Xbox and it was not easier there. Absolutely not recommended if you just want a game to casually play through
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It may be outdated, but it's definitely fun. Great hype up for playing the great circle
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4/10 this hasnt aged well - god awful item swapping method + $6 + whipped the everliving ♥♥♥♥ out of random people cause i can, ♥♥♥♥ it!!!! - he cant jump for ♥♥♥♥.... knee height and you need to slowly with even huff and pant of oxygen climb them. + didn't impregnate an underage girl who goes on to give birth to shia lebuff in this one. George wanted to make her even younger in the original script.... - no checkpoints of quick saves. need to one shot areas and that fine until late game when…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only played half an hour of this game and I can already tell this game is going to be peak
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game wins my cancer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →graphics are better than infernal machine, but on pc, the controls are just as janky and the save system sucks real bad. plus it keep crashing 5 minutes in, i've had to replay the same intro several times.
