unlabelledView post →Well, I’m going to start this off by saying this wasn’t my first playthrough of I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. I first played it back in the early 2000s on my oldest cousin’s Dell laptop, so for me, this was a nostalgic experience. Let’s begin. I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream began as a short story written in 1967 by Harlan Ellison and was later adapted into a video game in 1995. I see this game as a haunting and unique experience that blends psychological horror, moral philosophy,…

unlabelledView post →If you’ve never played I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, don’t let the age scare you off. This game is older than a lot of Steam users, sure, but it hits harder than half the “cinematic” horror titles coming out today. First off, the writing is unreal. It’s based on the short story by Harlan Ellison, and you can feel it in every line. The dialogue is sharp, cruel, thoughtful, and sometimes downright uncomfortable. AM isn’t just a villain. He’s pure hatred wrapped in circuitry. And somehow…

unlabelledView post →Overall its a solid game but, it is literally impossible to beat it with out a guide. It becomes really unplayable because you need to look at a guide for every click you perform and it becomes more of a homework than an actual game that's supposed to be enjoyed. To sum things up, i wouldn't recommend this game for an average (modern) gamer, and its only somewhat fun if you read the novel.

There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word "peak" was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles, it would not equal one one billionth of the appreciation I have for this masterpiece at this micro-instant. PEAK. PEAK.

If you look at the achievements, the most primitive one that you get awarded with upon sim ply playing the game only sits at 8%, meaning this is the exact type of game people buy but just use it as a cup holder rather than actually playing it. Andd its so tragic too, the plot, artstyle and dialogue is so well thought out and reads like a novel (makes sense when you take into account that its based on one). Its life-like characters and…

unlabelledView post →Yeah, this game is very old, and you can feel that it hasn’t aged that well. However, just hear me out, the story is where it truly shines. I read the book, and this game is much better because it’s voiced by the author himself, has multiple endings, and feels more expanded overall. Peak story with simple gameplay, Overall, Story is the content here for me, XD No bugs and glitches or needed things to patch from online. Its a solid game that still works today. would recommend.
