It is, though it isn't a bait and switch. No micro-transactions, just some DLC, and for the price it is a nice little time killer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It took me around a good couple hours constantly playing without the DLC to get all the achievements. Now, the DLC is just P2W, if you're playing the game to enjoy it this isn't really an issue, the issue is, that there's minimal gameplay, and the looping is terrible, for a mobile game port I understand, but what I don't understand is when this game costs money and there's only a small amount of content to begin with. If you don't buy the DLC's everything is just slower, I beat the game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →damn you waligug...damn you. This is a mobile style game but on pc, its mindless but initially the repetition and bigger numbers are fun and encouraging but by island 6 you know its just wash and repeat. Pick it up on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An Idle game where it pauses if you click off the game. That is just ridiculous. If its on sale go ahead and grab it but its a sin for an idle game to pause when you tab out of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its what mobile game should be, pure fun and no ads.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For digging deep, there is no depth. If you have played the first 5 mins, you have played the first 5 hours. I kept hoping something new would unlock, but nope. Save your money to buy an actual game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Allow the game to run in the background, devs, please
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dig Deep is the fifth game that i played of the QubicGames bundle that happen during every big sale(so far) The premise of this bundle so far is if you like repetitive grindy game go for it, if not, don't buy Similar to astro miner, dig deep is an idle game where you try to mine a hole to collect money to unlock more hole to collect more money. You can buy 4 helpers, and pets to increase your money multiplier. Unfortunatly though, most pets are locked behind dlc and you can only get the basic…

unlabelledView post →This game is a simple game that isn't too bad, but I can't recommend it because it's missing the one thing that makes an incremental game fun --- That OP feeling you get towards the end. This game just has a repetitive loop and you never really feel "powered up"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ooga, booga, bad phone ghame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AI breaks after a certain depth and stops bringing up balls long before even reaching 1k depth.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lol it was on mobile
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great time waster. It is repetitive, it has minimal if no rewards. The mining level means and does nothing. Every level is a copy paste of the first one. The pets are adorable. The one music track alone is enough to drive you insane after a few hours. 10/10 Honestly though this is a great shell of a game. There’s so much that can be improved and made more complex but not every game needs that or has to be that. Some games are just simple. And that’s ok.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has taught me a valuable lesson(and I mean it not as a joke, but honestly). Although before I say it, allow me to first say - I mean no offense or hate towards the developers of it, especially since in the end, it is bug-free (at least as far as I can tell) and played smoothly. The lesson being - just because something is cheap(or free) doesn't mean it's worth buying and spending your time on. Lesson that - as long as you keep it in mind - will save you time and money. Do I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game for what it's worth. Could use some UI and QOL updates to make life so much easier! But I know we'll never get them, I miss when the game first game out though, was so much easier to get infinite gold when you went infinite at floor 999. Now it's super slow. My only dislike about this game is just how you can't do other things while the game is running, so if you wanted to AFK you'd have to do it overnight or something, but you'll be stopped by the daily pop up! So I guess there is no…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An extremely addictive tycoon game where you dig holes, hire workers to dig more holes, and then buy even more holes. It's clearly inspired by mobile games, but it looks and plays great on PC. The entire game revolves around digging a hole. Can you dig up anything interesting? No. Is there a deeper purpose to all this digging? Also no. And yet, if you have important things to do and need a way to procrastinate, this game is perfect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My back hurts from all that digging
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hehe.. Number go up..... yay..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →completionist slop kusoge
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dig Deep is a relaxed, progression-focused mining experience that leans heavily into the satisfaction of steady growth rather than challenge or spectacle. Developed by CrazyLabs and published on Steam by QubicGames alongside Gamersky Games, the game adapts familiar mobile-style incremental design into a PC-friendly format. From the outset, Dig Deep makes its intentions clear: it is about digging downward, collecting resources, and slowly transforming a humble hole in the ground into a thriving…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its.... a game it..... has progression? it..... has content? it..... has an ending truly nothing i can say that would be completely positive. first things first i would have still considered giving it a good rating but the single fact that this game doesn't function when in the background is the most mind boggling "feature" of the game how did the dev think creating an incremental game where you cannot click off the game would be a good idea, actually to be honest this is a joke of an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has the vibes of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game, but it's actually really fun and engaging for a time-killing game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly buggy. The game only progresses when in the active window, workers frequently come back up with no balls in their pockets, and holes you aren't nearby seem to progress at a snail's pace when you're not there. As a result it feels completely pointless to actually spend resources upgrading previous holes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know I 100%ed it, but it's mostly an idle game and every time I do have to actually play it, I am in misery over the clunky ahh gameplay, bugs, and just the unfun game loop.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a mobile game with a somewhat boring gameplay loop. was fun for the first 30 minutes or so but eventually it's just an elevator riding simulator. you can't have it run in the background so you can't do anything else while waiting for money, even though this game screams idle. I got it 80% off for $1.29CAD so I got what I paid for, but definitely wouldn't buy at full price. Also p2w dlc for a mobile game on pc is wild but slowly becoming normal. oh and the co-op is local only.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, I don't actually have 16hours in this game, I let it open while It was alt tab. I did all achievements tho. So I will start my criticism. This game is a mobile game(duh) didn't see the game on appstore or anything but the game controls screams "MOBILE MOBILE" Although this game could be AFK(or in my case while alt tabed) It doesn't work, the game freezes the moment you alt tab(and freezes after each 24 minutes), which makes no sense, the game isn't heavy, maybe it was a safe for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is about digging a hole. Can you dig up anything interesting? No. Is there any other reason to dig? No. If you have some important things to do, this game is for you
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely addictive tycoon game where you dig holes, get workers to dig holes for you, buy more holes, etc. Based on mobile games, but looks and plays great. Highly recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →after 100%'ing the game, i now have the digger pass. Im a digger.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I nice quick game with very easy achievements. basically play the game and you will earn all of them. I recommend to players that want a quick achievement game. like shovelware.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →okay so imma be frl. this is legit js a moblie game for pc lol. you cant afk off screen ( you have to have the game screen up) . this game is ode repetitive (obv). game 99cent but i felt like i got robbed lol. achievements are ehh ig. this game is legit a soild -0.000001/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it on sale for around 1$ and I feel like a overpaid... it feels and play like a free mobile game except it doesn't send you an ads every 30 sec.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paid achievements...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly a pretty bad game, only reason i played it and 100% it was because im a completionist, i wouldnt really recommend it especially since it costs money. Found myself needing multiple breaks because the gameplay was so boring and repetitive. 4/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the idea of this game but it's super repetitive. It only took about 13 hours to 100% this game. 20/20 achievements and counts towards a perfect game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Casual, basic game that's very similar to the mobile and YouTube Playables versions. Dig hole, collect balls to sell, make money, unlock the next island, repeat. This game features DLCs that provide pets with better benefits, but completing all achievements can be done without them. Although this version has the same gameplay regardless of platform, I did notice some differences here compared to the mobile and YouTube Playables versions: Steam version has only 12 islands, while Playables has…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →terrible product, kinda funny tho.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A time waster. If it tickles your fancy, you can easily blow a weekend on it like I did. Otherwise, spend your time on something else.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hear the same piano! makes me go insane! good game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gets boring pretty quickly. Grabbed it in a sale with 80% off but still not worth the money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It reminds me of those mobile game ads, Pretty fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Saw waligug play this and though oh this would be a fun short 100% achievement. For what it is it's not a complete and total pile of garbage. The problem is that I can justify paying money for it when you can play this on youtube games for free. I didn't find this out til after i got 100% on it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a lifesaver as a uni student fidgeting in lectures but still looking productive
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good for a day or two
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring, you do the same thing several times... that's the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dig Deep – A Fun and Addictive Pixel Mining Adventure For anyone who enjoys casual yet engaging mining games, Dig Deep is a fantastic choice. It takes the simple concept of digging for treasure and turns it into an exciting adventure with upgrades, hazards, and a charming pixel-art style. Gameplay The gameplay loop is easy to pick up but hard to put down. You control a miner digging deep underground, collecting gold and valuable resources while avoiding hazards like falling rocks and enemy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A reluctant recommend if you like crappy mobile games ported crappily to steam (I may be masochistic and got the 100% lmao)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad. Balancing is alright. Only thing that needs work is the gem amounts you get.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really Fun To Get All Achievements!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For 99 cents you will be hard pressed to find a better game. Took most of an afternoon to beat. 8/10 small game, wish it had more musical variety.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →idk why I 100% this, the rot got to me help
