Hellboy
In the final days of World War II, the Nazis attempt to use black magic to aid their dying cause. The Allies raid the camp where the ceremony is taking place, but not before they summon a baby demon who is rescued by Allied forces and dubbed "Hellboy". Sixty years later, Hellboy serves the cause of good rather than evil as an agent in the Bureau of Paranormal Research & Defense, along with Abe Sapien - a merman with… From TMDB

I’m sure they’re pleased with Coyote vs Acme’s numbers, plus some great PR.
neutral · AI labelView post →Watching HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY, my favorite of the HELLBOY films. Although we didn’t get a sequel, it’s pound-for-pound as entertaining as anything GdT has made. I know Mignola wasn’t a fan. But while I respect Mignola as an artist, this movie fuckin’ bangs.
positive · AI labelView post →Hellboy (2004) 🎬🖤 Directed by Guillermo del Toro
neutral · AI labelView post →I still want del Toro’s third HELLBOY film!!! I STILL WANT IT.
positive · AI labelView post →Man of Steel was the first time I remember being shocked by not liking a movie in theaters. Batman v. Superman I expected to dislike. Hellboy (2019) was the first time I felt tempted to walk out of a movie. The Predator was so bad I bought a bottle of vodka and drank half of it on an empty stomach
neutral · AI labelView post →The 2004 fantasy horror superhero film “Hellboy”
neutral · AI labelView post →Thank God it ended up being a mistake because it is hard for me to think of an adaptation I'd be more upset about being poisoned with AI dreck than Hellboy It is so inescapable tied to a singular artistic vision! It'd be VILE. Also no one go see that other movie now.
positive · AI labelView post →In 2019's HELLBOY, directed by the English Neil Marshall, an English character offers another English character a Jaffa Cake while saying “cookie?”, and I think that might be why that film bombed so hard
neutral · AI labelView post →Ron Perlman and Doug Jones having a blast on the Armageddon Expo right now, and Doug's face when Ron says they had a Hellboy and Abe Sapien love scene that was cut from the film
neutral · AI labelView post →The Green Knight is the best Hellboy film—it just doesn't have Hellboy in it. But it tells its story through colour, composition, pacing, stillness and movement in a way that is incredibly Mignola-esque. This is what I miss in the Hellboy films, and it's what makes them feel so hollow.
negative · AI labelView post →If I become president we’re finally getting a third HELLBOY movie directed by Guillermo del Toro.

neutral · AI labelView post →Stoned and watching Hellboy. ✌🏻
neutral · AI labelView post →Also, this movie is basically a Mignola Hellboy comic where Hellboy just doesn't show up.
neutral · AI labelView post →I have voted. Now... i have a gin and tonic, a statutary holiday for a religion I dislike, and a Hellboy movie. And may I add... MwaHaha.
neutral · AI labelView post →“So the second Hellboy movie—“
neutral · AI labelView post →So cool to see folks discovering HELLBOY: THE CROOKED MAN now that it's on streaming. "Hey, this little Appalachian folk horror movie starring Hellboy is actually pretty creepy" is a common theme the past week or so. I have issues with changes that were made, but there's a lot I love about it, too.
neutral · AI labelView post →Rewatching the 2019 Hellboy flick. Man, I want a Lobster Johnson movie so bad. Something sh*tty and low budget. It'd be amazing.
neutral · AI labelView post →9. Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (2008) This is probably my favorite film from director @realgdt.bsky.social This movie is everything. The sets, the make-up, the perfomances, the choreography, the score, the story... it's just perfect.
positive · AI labelView post →Huh. There's a new Hellboy film? Looks like a B-movie..... buuuut, that might actually WORK. The last attempt tried to shoehorn in EVERYTHING. "The Crooked Man" appears to focus on a single BPRD case, which is a much better approach. Less is more.
neutral · AI labelView post →tonight's movie night with friends: HELLBOY (the ron perlman one)
neutral · AI labelView post →WE CAN POST LONGER VIDEOS NOW SO Y'ALL ARE GETTING THE BEST SCENE FROM ANY HELLBOY MOVIE
neutral · AI labelView post →Now we’re watching the new Hellboy movie that they dumped straight to VOD and it’s already way better than the David Harbour flick, but that bar is very low.
positive · AI labelView post →Del Toro first day on the set of Hellboy 2: What do you mean Abe Sapien is not the star of this movie. I gotta fix that. **9 years later** Success!!
neutral · AI labelView post →So happy Hellboy 2: The Golden Army is on Max. It is, unironically, my favorite movie of all time.
positive · AI labelView post →"The last Hellboy movie didn't flop hard enough. What can we do to make our new one flop even harder?"
neutral · AI labelView post →When I was writing the first Hellboy movie, I GENUINELY used to imagine something similar to this! ("Bedknobs And Broomsticks" was the second movie I ever saw at the cinema, and I'm slightly obsessed with it.)
neutral · AI labelView post →New #BloodSplatteredVlog! This week The Horror Guru & Count Jackula review #HellboyTheCrookedMan! The latest live action adaptation of the acclaimed Hellboy comic series, which sees Hellboy battling witches in the Appalachian Mountains! youtu.be/qz65Nbwowuw
neutral · AI labelView post →The Crooked Man: near perfect "6 out of 10" adaptation of a near perfect Hellboy story with good cast, great economical film making, and maybe small but annoying heredity from Marshall's version in dialogues with 20 excessively pointless minutes at the end.
neutral · AI labelView post →I understand why the sequel is more beloved and respected. It's a gorgeous GDT fantasy adventure/fairy tale. I adore it. But HELLBOY is what I want from Hellboy: pure pulp heroics with heaps of horror and heart. It'll always be my favorite Hellboy movie.
positive · AI labelView post →I'm a screenwriter, best known for co-writing the 2004 "Hellboy" movie, although Random House published me in a "Predator" anthology novel a year or so ago, which was fun. I curate playlists of film scores when I'm writing. You can't beat Goldsmith's "Alien" for creepy vibes. #HorrorWritersChat
neutral · AI labelView post →Color me surprised - but I liked the new Hellboy movie. Kind of wish it was a TV series.
positive · AI labelView post →This presentation brought to you by the David Harbour HELLBOY movie being literally unwatchable.
neutral · AI labelView post →I would rather Ryan Coogler make more original stuff than a comic book movie ever again. But he'd make a sick Hellboy.
neutral · AI labelView post →One photo a day ’til I run out of figures: Day Fifty. I realized I miscounted a day somewhere in the backlog, but we officially made it to Day 50 of the streak today! For the big 5-0, I decided to shoot the Mezco 2019 Movie Hellboy. I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of the 2019 movie, the Del Toro films are easily the best in my opinion. But I really wanted a live-action Hellboy on the shelf, and I was able to snag this guy. The figure itself is actually really good. The articulation handles…
neutral · AI labelView post →This is like movie Hellboy all over again. Reboot Hellboy shoots blanks but Guillermo del Toro's can FUCK. I am the Guillermo del Toro of toyfucking.

neutral · AI labelView post →Here’s a quick Hellboy. I watched the movie (2004) for the first time today and really liked it! #FanArt
positive · AI labelView post →Add a letter to ruin a movie. (S)Hellboy
neutral · AI labelView post →Admittedly a lot of comic book characters are drawn as stoics which is hard to adapt to movie and TV without making them seem unemotional, like with Spawn, except in the Spawn movie we had Klown which more than made up for the lack of facial expression from Spawn. A similar issue with Hellboy, except we had really good effects and the glorious voice of Ron Perlman to make it work.
neutral · AI labelView post →And that when David Harbour heard that Langella did that he bought a movie poster for Hellboy and had it framed similarly
neutral · AI labelView post →My favorite shot from HELLBOY (2019). It isn’t a good movie but one thing it does get right is that Hellboy is basically the cool big brother you never had.
neutral · AI labelView post →Introduce yourself with 4 movies. Bonus: Totoro, but I watched those 4 more. Why Hellboy II and not the first one? I love both, but all the creature/character/location designs in Golden Army are crazy amazing. So sad that Del Toro didn't make a 3rd one.
positive · AI labelView post →I’d make them weird and unknowable, like in the movie Frewaka or the Hellboy story “The Chained Coffin.” #HorrorWritersChat
neutral · AI labelView post →I’m watching Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy 2. I love both these films, and it’s amazing how well they still stand up after nearly twenty years, despite being heavily reliant on effects. Better than many films now. And I’ve always liked del Toro’s fondness for his weirdo monsters.
positive · AI labelView post →I just said that this movie *Hellboy The Golden Army* is definitely fantasy/sci-fi but above all it’s a love story a truly desperate love story f..*ck u only have to watch the movie once not 11 times like i did and u almost get emotional seeing the two protagonists madly in love so ❤️❤️❤️

We all grew up with them, no matter where we're from. neutral · AI labelView post →New Projector Review! Hellboy is rebooted for the third time as he faces off against The Crooked Man - but the BPRD are subject to severe budget cuts in this threadbare outing, that is rather obviously an ashcan film to retain the rights to the character.
neutral · AI labelView post →so scared of a third del Toro Hellboy movie losing money that they keep making reboots that lose money
neutral · AI labelView post →The Crooked Man is my favorite Hellboy series from the comic books. It’s Appalachian folk horror, which I love. This new movie will be a horror movie starring Hellboy, not a typical Hellboy movie. With @cgolden.bsky.social as one of the screenwriters, this will be awesome. youtu.be/NMT1q1BOs6Q?...
positive · AI labelView post →Hellboy II The Golden Army: A rewatch but god what a treat. Is it a silly popcorn flick to watch with friends? Yes! Is it also such a lovely movie to look at the craft and pause on the sets and prosthetics and effects and just luxuriate in the artistry of it all. Watching with film pervs is xtra fun
positive · AI labelView post →OK, so this is embarrassing. Having earlier slandered Guillermo del Toro by saying he'd never made a film with an exploding helicopter, I've been reminded that he did blow one up in Hellboy II: The Golden Army. One exploding helicopter though, that's pathetic.
