60 of 91 · most liked firstReview updated 4/1 post release of the game. This game CAN be quite fun and definitely has a ton of potential. But there are several issues I have with the game that lead me to be unable to recommend the game in its current state. Hopefully these can be fixed quickly as the game is otherwise incredibly fun with an interesting combination of progression systems. The permanent rune-stone progression system has the potential to be a very fun way of specializing certain characters to have the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the gameplay seemed really fun. and the artwork was very pretty. I wanted to enjoy this a lot. but the game is poorly optimized. there are unnecessary special effects everywhere, and it lags massively when anything happens on screen. (I did not see any settings to improve performance except for reducing resolution, which didn't help)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very bad technical state at the moment, - every run I've contacted 'lore corpses' ends after this interaction: my character rendered inactive, any input is ignored - various bugs related to bosses - input sometimes ignored - 'traits' sometimes won't work though going on cooldown - forced d-pad for movement
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo for about 2 hours and bought the game tonight so my play time is over what it shows here. It's a bit challenging and you need to learn the enemy attack patterns. The boss fights are satisfying and challenging. I saw some comments before in the discussion about it being too hard. TOTALLY DISAGREE. Those people are smooth brains. The difficulty is perfect. Please don't make it easier!!! Once you get used to the controls and fly around the map kicking ass, you feel like a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls felt awful. Tried controller and keyboard but neither felt good. Controller has to use dpad movement and right joystick up is heal??? Can only rebind keyboard, but even then you can only use keys, no mouse inputs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Couldn't play the game as it forces you to use the dpad on your controller for movement (no option to bind it to the joystick) and the keyboard controls are a disgrace. Will give it another go / updated review when this gets fixed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is great and not too bland but with the amount of bugs I'm getting , it becoming more and more annoying to the points its not enjoyable getting locked in rooms not being able to proceed is one of problematic bug frankly compares to the crashes hope the devs kindly fixing the bugs first before getting into the roadmaps plans properly would change my reviews once they fix bugs and improves overall QoL in the game in the future
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the most part I've enjoyed the game, but that was before the untested buggy updates made the experience worse. Obvious Qol features not implemented. Broken audio. Unbalanced characters and their skill trees. Game breaking artifacts right next to artifacts that do literal nothing. Small dev team picked a genius strategy: to take on every possible task with every ongoing project. Maintaining two games and making a new game all at once.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games fun but lacks too many quality of life things to be worth investing your time in. The game is unique with the grid based combat system but even the developers have finally noted that the timing needs improved which they're finally working on post 1.0. If that wasn't a problem enough the runs in this game are very long, around an hour each and there is no mid run save so unless you have nothing to do this is going to be your next 60-90 minutes and if you want to get off to play something…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is what happens when Koreans don't make ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile games or predatory MMOs. They make an amazing game with amazing art and music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was decently fun at start but the game becomes stale pretty quick. The item's don't add much variety to the gameplay. During progress, you're supposed to increase the difficulty which does some stuff + makes enemies healthier. Everything is a non issue except the health. It can be a real chore to push through because (for me) it was not uncommon to go through an entire run without any form of real damage upgrade. There are potions that either increase or decrease 2 stats that in my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Artistically, it's charming with a fair bit of polish, but mechanically it really feels like it's still in early access. Of course, I know that in Roguelikes you start as a scrub, dying repeatedly and grinding until you're worth a damn, but jeez. The pace of the grind is downright demoralizing. Temporary perks you gain are so niche and situational as to be worthless, any stat increases are so minute that you won't notice any difference (love that +1% chance to find Stones) and several…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has potential; it's fun, and challenging But right now inputs are pretty bad. There are times when you go to a certain room and your character moves on their own in one direction, and it's hard to move out of that direction. I'd also like some quality of life change such as being able to read artifact descriptions when we're using the artifact and trying to decide on keeping it, selling it, or passing over it for better artifacts i'll change my recommendation if the input issue…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →inputs get ignored half of the time and how the hell do I go down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ elevator
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a seriously happy surprise. The three characters all play totally differently, and despite the fact the game really only has four directions and two buttons, it gets a ton of strategic depth as you level up your ability, find new artifacts, and learn how to beat down enemies. The quickest way to imagine it: Necrodancer but you don't need to worry about the beat. Move as you need, dodge as you can, beat down as you wish. The abilities change things up quite a bit: a mage setting up…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PROS: - The combat is fun, the combination of grid based and real-time is unique and the player feedback (visual/sound effects) makes fighting very satisfying. - The pixel art, animation and VFX are gorgeous, the game is an absolute pleasure to look at. - The boss fights are fair and well designed. - The difficulty curve is solid overall* - The available characters all seem viable and have unique playstyles. CONS: - Most of the progression systems, both inside and outside the run are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is extremely fun, dont care about what other people says. U need to get it, a great indie game, it made my want to play and play like a maniac! It has great graphics, neat mechanics, super fun gameplay and progression, it has 3 characters to play, which has their gameplay well defined and are basicly so different between them, boss fights are insane and they get harder and harder when u push another difficulty, I would appreciate voice acting, but I didn't mind it dont having it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Playing eclipse 5 with a win build, passing f2 lerdsila and it give me a black screen when i go to the next floor, how i can win the game like this, fckng piss me off this ♥♥♥♥ i can win cuz the black screen bug and to win eclipse 5 just need to have luck in items theres is not other ♥♥♥♥ if u have luck in the first floor to get the tentacle u win the game. So im sick how they not fix this, and above that if ur game crash there is not save point u have to start again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't let the bad reviews deceive your will to play this game, Guidus Zero is actually a great game that require you to adapt with the control mechanic first until you used to the control. At first it was hard to learn about the control mechanic, but at last it was worth it too, you just need to git gud imo. Overall the game is fun to play and did not require you to play it for a long time until you finished it, and what i really like about this game is that the playable characters have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've finished the hardest difficulty with some different builds, overall a really good game. Should you buy it? YES. Give it a shot Don't let my hours on record fool you, since i played like 30 hours offline while i was traveling At the time I'm writing this, it lacks some QoL features like selling your own relics, refreshing shops and selecting pre-game buffs (stones) Selling relics is important since some relics downside can literally shut down certain builds, sometimes I dont even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →yesssss, if youlike grid based and quite hard but not that hảd type of boss; grinding in free time with good-looking pixels game, i suggest this ones. I ba a fan of this game ever since they lanch the indie android game :Đ.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is simple, fun, and so polished you won't even feel like it has tile based movement, it is kind of a refreshing take on the roguelite genre. The game has really good pacing as well, while losing is part of the game, I never felt like I was grinding for stats/levels for player progression, all of my losses were merely because I didn't know how the fight works rather than because I didn't have enough hp or damage or I didn't build my character properly. It's just a really good mix of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is as good as I expected and I'm looking forward to seeing more updates in the future. I hope you will create more playable characters and images for some NPC such as: Boreas, Notos, Eros,... who we can interact in battle to make game more alive. Especially, We really need a dictionary about Arifacts that we collected. Moreover, I extremely love the OST at the camp and battle theme in chapter 3. I hope you will listen to my opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's missing some features, but it's a solid semi-turn based roguelite. If you've played Guidus on mobile, you'll enjoy Guidus Zero.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gud game, but i hate the spider boss, nerf it plz
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is such a well made and enjoyable roguelite, really engaging and pulls you in to want to discover its world. took a bit to get used to the control mappings but once i did i found them very sensible. not being able to use analog stick to move was a source of early frustration but i came to think that was a good call based on how the game gets chaotic later on. all in all really impressed and hope more content and features are in the cards for this game, would be willing to pay for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I almost returned this one after my first few runs, but it really impressed me once I stopped treating it as something like Hades and started meeting it where it stands. The grid-based but not turn-based combat really threw me for a loop at first, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I love the music and pixel art, and it does that wonderful rogue-like thing of letting you put together some pretty busted combinations of upgrades and new gear Some items and abilities are undoubtedly much better than…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can see where the current negative reviews come from, however if we are talking about the game as a whole it is a definite recommend to any one who likes pixel rpg games. It just took me like half an hour to get used to the grid system since im so used to omni directional movement.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really want to like this game. It's beautiful, interesting story so far, and it has the potential to actually be really fun. However, one MAJOR thing is holding it back and its the clunky movement, the inability to attack during movement, and the fact that you can't dodge through enemies with the dodge key. I would NOT recommend this game unless the devs will do something about the movement and overhaul it completely. Until then, the game is not worth playing at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty good game for an early access one, so here are a few good and bad things about it: Goods: - World building gives out massive Made in Abyss vibe, which is amusing. - Have "break the pot" kind of stuff from Zelda games, which is relaxing in a way. - Characters have unique kits and level up branches. I'm sure devs will port more characters from their first game to this one over time, cannot wait to try them all. - Roguelike system is niche (map generation, relics/artifacts, spirits),…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game gets repetitive after E1+ Builds don't get very varied and run to run is pretty much same enemies/biomes Also this game has a lot of visual clutter for some/end game builds because of all your procs and etc But I did have a decent time playing. Getting true end can start to feel like a slog though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its pretty aight almost 50 hours got every achievement's was worth the cash
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm struggling to find a game to compare this to (maybe one step through eden), but the real-time grid-based combat works really well here. The boss fights are among some of the best I've come across. If it seems slow in the beginning, give it until the final difficulty, where the speed ramps up and you're able to unlock the true ending. There are some gripes I have: no mouse support, unable to click through some dialogues, and certain keys are hard bound overlapping with remapped keys ("f"…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →buggy and unbalanced
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is short but a pretty dmn good one action roguelike game. Combat is fluid, love the pixel art, the soundtracks, the 3 different character abilities/traits/spirits system, and the real-time grid-based ideal is very interesting. Heard the game dev is going to add more new content in the upcoming update plans for Guidus Zero, looking forward to it! EDIT: The new stages and boss fights are great, and I find out the game doesn't end after one playthrough, instead you must finish it at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Change of plans tonight, I will be playing another game tonight as we have postponed the collab with MoMo to another date. We'll be checking out Guidus Zero, a new roguelite game that was recently released! www.twitch.tv/reirosenfeld
unlabelledView post →This game is solid. It has a story, impressive art, a great soundtrack, and a decent amount of replayability. One standout feature is how the higher difficulty actually changes the gameplay. It’s not just inflated enemy HP and damage. Somehow hiding enemies intentions with higher difficulty makes things clearer and thus easier. That said, there are a few problems I have. There's no save system. Translation is your enemy. The controls are fine for the most part, unless you have to press keys…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is challenging but in a good way, still needs a lot of polish and work to become something really great. The one thing that really doesn't make sense to me is some character's abilities. One character's trait does DOT damage (bleed) but the bosses / enemies enter invincible states so often that DOT damage doesn't make sense considering how low the DOT ticks for. Another character's trait requires you stand in place and let loose a barrage of attacks - but in a game where you're…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very charming game, although it suffers a little bit from not enough information being explained and being rather unfair a lot of the time. Gameplay wise, I had a lot of fun all the way through, with the whole grid-system being quite engaging. Most bosses were very fun to learn the patterns for, and some are easily baitable to do specific attacks that might be more convenient to dodge or abuse for damage. The story is okay, typical fantasy "save the world from evil forces lurking in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Combat mechanics are pretty fun, but the game isn't very polished. Controls feel clunky and take getting used to. Character skills don't change much across the run. You level up within a run and are given choice of static upgrades, but they didn't vow me. Upgrades are boring and also don't add much variety. In 3 runs I haven't see a single one has an interesting behavior or could create a strong synergy. They are all very safe. Telegraphing/Visibility could be improved greatly as there…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun , cute art style, unique grid based action. Not super high on build variety but the game just feels really good to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →for the stream tonight, we have a double roguelite play of Hellclock and Guidus Zero youtu.be/m9oQeplSC2o
unlabelledView post →Insanely fun and well polished roguelike game. Huge variety of ways to min-max your character. Easily find an OP build and then you die because you get too cocky. Then the next round you find an even more OP build. However this doesn't mean the game is easy - higher difficulties and new bosses unlock as you progress, which keeps the game challenging throughout your playthrough. The story is catchy and it unfolds as you explore the depths. On top of that you get to play as a pixel anime waifu.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another game I'm going through that I got from the steam sale is Guidus Zero and it's been pretty good so far as a roguelite goes store.steampowered.com/app/3072640/... For me, I like having real-time movement vs it being entirely turn-based which was why I stopped playing Crown Trick.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A greatly improved version of Guidus. Basically everything is better than the mobile origin: graphics, soundtracks, gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Guidus Zero is a roguelike that immediately distinguishes itself through a clever mechanical twist, blending grid-based movement with real-time pressure in a way that feels both unconventional and surprisingly intuitive once mastered. Developed by izzle and published by Com2us Holdings, it places players within a mysterious abyss known as the Scar, a place filled with hostile creatures, hidden relics, and fragments of a world that hint at something larger beneath the surface. From the outset,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game gets easy way too fast, fun little game but it needs a lot more characters and a longer run.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend Guidus Zero if youve enjoyed the mobile Guidus game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although I might still play for a couple of hours, it's getting tedious after a few runs. This is because the 'RT' and 'X' buttons occupy 80% of the right-hand actions (I don't know what the purpose of using 'RB' is). Also, I still don't understand or get any benefit from the "Grid Based" movement.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What I enjoy most are the boss fights. They feel fun, different, exciting, and not too hard, which makes them enjoyable without being frustrating. The music fits the stages well, the story is easy to follow, and there are many builds to try. The characters are cute, and the style really feels like Hades but anime. I found a few small bugs that don’t affect gameplay, and some parts are still a bit confusing. I haven’t reached the endgame yet, so I can’t say for sure about the later systems,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fairly difficult with an interesting short story and nice design roguelike game. You start as an elf swordsman and unlock more playable characters as the story progresses. The movement was something that I needed to get used to as you only move horizontally and vertically, while bullets may track or come from any angle. While basic attacks auto target enemies regardless of where you're facing, your ranged attacks won't auto target unless the enemy is next to you. Overall, quite an enjoyable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game during demo launch, it surprised me how drastic different this compared to the mobile game GUIDUS. I really enjoyed this game. Now waiting until its official launch, it has even more contents and polished. Can't wait for future expansions and playable characters
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game a lot!, and currently enjoying it!. Aside from the minor bugs and controller issues, the game got me hooked. I hope the developers will keep updating the game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i hv]avent played a lot of it. But i cant see the things other reviews complain about. they tlk about bdd inputs and yadayda, but maybe they are just not used to the grid based gameplay? i dunno. the game is relly nice. clean pixel art, def worth it
