negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has been abandoned since 9/27/2022. major issues are not fixed and futures were never implemented, it's a pity because it's one of the games where you could really feel the management, maximization and automation of production
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is actually enjoyable, but it's extremely buggy. I'm encountering bugs that I've seen posted over 4 years ago.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandoned game with a ton of frustrating bugs. There is a reason most of the achievements are at .01. Avoid if you ever plan to 100% this game. Tedious and broken are a couple of words that come to mind to describe my experience. Bug example, in rocket science challenge - zone buffs don't work, workers gain skill points but can't assign anything without success points; which are stated to be unlimited in this challenge. Without these buffs it is near impossible to generate enough science to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Empty promises and another unfinished product on the steam store. Has charm and starts out ok but falls apart fast. Could have been great but they took what cash they made and disappeared.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. But devs seem to have abandoned the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1.1 or "1.01.00" is missing features from the 2022 versions 1.10.14. It's like they took an ancient build, slapped their changes on top of that and lost everything in between that ancient built and 1.1. Search courrier routes and other QoL stuff are just gone.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This looks like it should be a great, fun game, the sort of thing that I love. Sadly it is really let down by the janky logistics making everything feel more like a chore than an enjoyable experience. Especially when you have to reconfigure entire layouts as you progress.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, but it just too tired. I'm around mid campaign which I just unlocked machinery and conveyor belt. Suddenly things become overwhelmingly crazy micro management. The game is already complex enough with so many pieces need to create one thing at a time. Before the machine mission, all you need is table, shelf, and staff. And everything work fine as it is, the staff will automatically carry thing around and doing logistics for you. But now with conveyor belt system, you are the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very mid game, the game loop of rebuilding the same thing every time just exhausts you and then you just don't want to touch this game never again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its now abandonware. Pretty shamefull pump and dump of a game with such great potential. No other game really hits this niche as well and to watch it get abandoned at like 85% completion is frustrating. Dont buy it at full price, at 20 hours of play time you will have done pretty much everything worth doing. Couple of annoying bugs the Devs will never fix.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't understand why more people are not playing this game. I usually don't make my post public, but need to help these developpers. I played this kind of game like Voxel Tycoon, Town Factory, and many other like this. This game is one of its own. Its a kind of game you have to plan your production with using less space as possible. But after selling a couple of products, you have to upgrade, and replanned your factory line again and again with the new upgrades.... Yes the game has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Playtime: 25.5 hours over the past two weeks / 25.5 hours total Rating: 8 out of 10 dead racoons Game Type: Tycoon/Simulation Negatives: Lack of Development: The game appears to be in a stagnant state with no active development, as indicated by the offline status of the game's official website. Pricing Caution: Considering its current state, I wouldn't recommend buying this game at full price. Look for discounts, as it's often available much cheaper. Positives: Addictive Gameplay: It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best comprehensive business management games available. - Product Design - Resource Management - Production - Logistics - Campaign objectives to keep it interesting, as well as more sandbox options - Well thought out market systems (changing demand, economic headwinds, etc) - Allows you to choose between pursuing iteratively more complex objectives or move on to next campaign objective, ensuring there is something for everyone from casual managers to those with extra…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a big fan of the automation & logistics games, I'm afraid I can't reccomend Good Company :( The visuals are nice, premise looks good: the whole "design & sell your product" is great, but.... the execution is "meh" in my opinion. I see what the game is trying me to do, but with the available tools it's just too frustrating: - like, the tinkering benches take so much space that you can forget about neatly organized areas - I feel the game wants me to have this "supply train" thingy going…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Concept is interesting and the execution itself is quite good, the market changing in not so regular intervals makes you change your production gradually to more profitable products and to upgrade the product just enough to be better than your competition. Sadly, a short while after the launch the developers abandoned the game with some game breaking bugs. With the game being abandonware, I would not recommend it unless you absolutely love the demo and do not wish to have the promised mod…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Good Company" is a cute game with an adorable art style that is unfortunately abandoned by its developers. It's a shame to see that the team behind it has shifted their focus to "Halls Of Torment" what looks like a copy of vampire survivor, in the process leaving "Good Company" behind. The promised post-release update plan is also delayed, as the modding support and quality of life improvements promised in August 2022 have yet to be implemented. Overall, "Good Company" is a charming game with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While it is fun I just don't find it particuarly enjoyable, creating small production lines its pretty fun but I still thinks there's too much micro managment as you get later into the game. Just a personal opinion, and as long as you're alright with that it's great.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It COULD have been a good game, but there's one gigantic issue which just borks the entire game and makes it nigh unplayable: Your employees don't collect/place stuff automatically. Your employees need to be told where to pick stuff up and drop stuff off, so lemmy give you an idea of why this makes the game unplayable: Bob needs 5 plastic to make his item.... there is 200plastic right next to Bob in a shelf, but Bob WILL NOT use the 5 plastic until Bob is assigned to that shelf... but Bob also…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is generally good, but boy does it take its time Here's the deal: The central "line" of missions on the campaign map are a kind of extended tutorial that gradually introduces the game's big pile of mechanics. Most of these put little to no pressure on the player, which might mislead you. On plenty of missions, you can build a half-decent production line and then do something else for 10-20 minutes as the metrics stumble towards the goal. The "side" missions on the campaign map are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The games core mechanics are rock solid, if you like industry games then you will like this game. The game leans more towards an arcade like experience rather than a full simulation, however there is a tonne of game play to enjoy. Essentially you purchase resources and use them to create components and modules, these in turn can then be used to create even more complex modules. The modules all feature their own properties and can be used to produce products that you design. There is a dynamic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What appears to be a great factory building game but sadly it suffers from lazy UI interface design, lazy meaning that it has an overly complicated UI but lacking just some simple indicators to make setting up routes easy and obvious for the player, not recommended.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WHERE IS THE LIST WITH ALL MY WORKBENCH/TINKER TABLES?? YOU ARE KIDDING ME??
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Machines and conveyors still buggy as can be. Think developers abandoned this pile of dung.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is great... However the logistics is needlessly complex, buggy and often breaks. You can go through the arduous process of setting up conveyors, but spend twice that time just trying to get it to do the thing it is supposed to do. That reason alone, given it is a very important part of the game... Makes it so hard to recommend it. If they simplified the system I would have little to complain about. Otherwise, I simply can't recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun in the beginning. Good tutorial and good exercise. Not long and it's became very buggy. The news kept popping up to blocking progress. AI doesn't allow free thinking or detour. Very hard to update shelves to new production lines because of AI. It's fun to challenge different goals. If there is no step by step tutorial then there's no need to control how players get to the goal.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandoned by developers long with a lot of QOL missing, not worth it really, getting through the game can be tedious and frustrating and obviously there's no relief coming.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended.. have played this game for 4 days nonstop.. so addicted.. if u like game strategy and manage i will recommend this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game seems hard until you get to the point where you can have machines make your parts and you initially think "Oh it's going to be so much easier now." NOPE! All that does is add another layer of complexity and logistics into the mix. It's a lot of fun though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of soft lock bugs, and honestly pretty frustrating UI. Difficult to enjoy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Initial feeling of the game is really good until you hit annoying bugs that break the gameplay.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is still buggy. I have to quit to main menu and reload a game to fix it. A lot! Campaign is no fun at all. Freeplay could have been fun without the bugs but it is really annoying in its current state.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very Very Very complicated in freeplay, tried to do tutorial and got stuck on "select player character" nothing i did selected the character, even selecting the character.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, development has stopped. Go in knowing no more work on the game will happen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite being abandoned, still a very good game! Have personally not noticed any bugs from what I can recall, but every experience is different to its own. Devs pls stop abandonment and update this game or make it open source :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🎵all in all it's just a, another cash grab in the catalogue🎵
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best game in the genre, in my opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So i really tried to like this game and also bought it for some friends that like automation games too but there are a few issues that affect the quality of life so much that the gameplay may be good but the overall feel is awful, you begin with the tutorials like most games, on level 2 or 3 (i can't recall) you are assigned to manage stock between two buildings and work on implementing shelves, this is where a weird issue occurs, during the tutorial if you accidentally hire a npc during the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I understand my real job in manufacturing better after playing this game! I enjoy setting up efficient routes and manufacturing systems in this. Unless you're playing a challenge level, this game is mostly relaxing. Put on Spotify in the background and just play. Good stuff! Worth the price of admission.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I fell in love with Good Company the moment I saw someone playing it on YouTube shortly after release. I instantly bought it, and it quickly became one of the best uses of my money in gaming. I've restarted the game so many times that it really should feel stale by now, but it doesn't. Every new run still feels as fresh and exciting as the first. This is a deep, satisfying factory builder and management sim where you start in a garage and grow a full blown tech corporation. Designing efficient…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Company - Good Company playgoodcompany.itch.io/goodcompany/...
unlabelledView post →Good Company by Chasing Carrots is a management and factory simulation that puts players in charge of building and running their own tech manufacturing empire. The experience begins modestly, with a small workshop where you learn to assemble simple gadgets, but it quickly expands into a full-scale production challenge where efficiency, automation, and careful planning are crucial. Unlike many management games that focus solely on financial balance sheets, this one emphasizes the physical flow…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No longer abandonware! The issue with Epic Store hasn't been resolved but the devs have decided to push an update regardless. There won't be another update for a while as they're pushing out Halls of Torment for release, but after that should bring more frequent updates for both games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While a good game, there is a lot of bugs or unintuitive controls that make gameplay frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bug ridden mess and also abandonware. Don't fall for it like I did.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →excellent logistics/management game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, but it seems to me that the game is slowly dying, there haven't been any new updates for over a year now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game abandoned without the promised QOL changes. Haven't played, but that alone deserves a downvote. L Devs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Good Company is a fine game that is missing many quality of life touches that keep this game from being spectacular. The gameplay loop is fine; design a product (from a template they provide - this isn't totally free form or open) and then provide the materials to build that product. The trailer does an excellent job of showing how the game works. The parts that aren't shown are the quality of life touches that a game about repeated steps would provide. There tutorial shows the steps…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent factory game, let down by a serious lack of quality of life features and some clunky bits.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think I may be boring because I very much enjoy this game. AND IT SCARES ME.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The perfect example of a production/logistics game that is badly done. It's boring the best of days.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →0 / 10 !
