However, In the short time I played it I already encountered a few bugs: 1) A goal that wasn't counted (It said goal kick) 2) Having the wrong coach (Arg vs Ita with boths coaches being the same) 3) Losing the world cup and the world cup menu being corrupted 4) A similar thing when winning the world cup 5) When purcahsing an item, it doesn't appear as purchased unless you exit and re-enter the menu 6)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not a huge Soccer fan as you can tell by my deference to call it Football. Anyway I grew up playing International Soccer on the C64, and this captures that vibe albeit with better graphics and play reminiscent of early FIFA titles on PS1/Xbox before they became another EA cash card - hunting whale skins. Good play and probably better with friends. Only thing letting it down is the inability to save the game in the middle of league or tournament style play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a fun game! Reminds me of old Soccer games (Ubi soccer, Goal!!, etc) from the DOS era. I´ve played one match, and so far, I´m liking it very much! Will continue playing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Instead of giving money to EA every year, buy this instead. Way better and funnier than FIFA. Funny football arcade with some powerups game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Como vas a sacar un jueguito de futbol sin multiplayer online? Porque no preparas una milanesa y la haces de soja sin empanar tambien, ridiculo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No resume function on Championships.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well after pes failed badly and i am not into fifa much i enjoy the retro and arcade football games like this legendary managers , many teams , many cups , you play more and you get more gold to buy items and so worth it if you are "old" enough !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, but a bit too expensive! Whats good: 1. Camera angles for replays are excellent 2. Graphics are great 3. Deflections add to the fun 4. Corners, throw-ins and penalties are in the game 5. Heading the ball is a thing 6. The power up system in game is decent and mixes things up 7. Seems like there is a fair bit of unlockables in game (new ball and kit designs) 8. Slow-Mo for the last minute goals is great 9. You can pick formations 10. Everything works and is simple what could be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's all very basic: from animations to AI. It looks like an alpha game. The special moves are few and there is nothing that makes you play it for hours. Get bored soon.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good for messing up with a couple of friends among some other party games. It is the type that makes you feel interested but not for long. After a day or two, you may feel like playing another match just to get bored quickly again. That being said, this is not a bad game. It caters for people with a fast pace of life and having relatively little time for gaming while just wanting to relax for a little bit. Recommended for light users and party situation as well. Get it on a sale now! (-80%)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't even played the game properly, but I can already say that it's better than FIFA. Watch FIFA FAILS here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/KJqLabLE-_s?feature=share
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →player movement is a bit janky and the camera movement is also a bit janky. I felt this aspect was better in the early access release '90s Football Stars that got pulled from Steam and thus re-released as Golazo! Soccer League.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another attempt at FIFA cloning, this time with less field players, cartoony graphics, gamey bonuses & almost no fouls. Sadly, all the notorious fails persist here as well - passive AI, primitive cursor switch system, standard ways to score. A small game to pass time with, nothing valuable for a genre veteran.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay itself is not bad at all, but it gets a thumbs down because of the extremely annoying commentary that you cannot turn off. You basically have to turn off all sound effects, which is crazy. Also, no volume levels, jut turn on or turn off.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: - Great colorful presentation - Nice visuals and menus - Old-school arcade soccer feel - Fun to play.. sometimes - Good option when u have little time to have fun Cons: - So easy; even hard is really easy - Difficulties do not effect much - Formations do not efffect much - AI is not workin' well -Narrator.. is a bit annoying It will be fun to play when you miss good old-school soccer game playing. Can work well as a party game. Do not expect a serious game; more like a childish game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun game, but it doesnt seem to save tournaments if you dont play the entire thing in one sitting, which is annoying. Could also use third kit options to buy in the in-game shop for additional teams. Not every team has an upgrade option at this time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is terrible. First of all it's not soccer... there aren't 22 players on the pitch. And second... worst reason to hate it... the buttons are fixed. So you can't play with the right hand to move. Luckily I bought it at super discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Make sure you have an xbox or similar controller, this game is not made for keyboard controls and it makes it very difficult to play. For example there isn't really a way to exit the game on mouse and keyboard. (you have to hit the windows key and exit the game that way).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Golazo! reminds me of the old style soccer games on the Sega Genesis like World Championship Soccer II, Tecmo Soccer, and International Super Soccer Deluxe. If you are a fan of these types of soccer games with the arcade feel, this game is up your alley. It's nothing like PES or Fifa so it's a change of pace from those type of games. I just wish they allowed some sort of customization of the players and coaches.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hoped for more... Go download sensible world of soccer if you are looking for something similar but a million times greater.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good ideas but needs sooooo much polishing. I highly doubt dev is gonna put in all that effort.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can play as Russia, but not as Scotland. Please put Scotland back in the game. We've won the World Cup 15 times!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For those who don't know: This game isn't an online multiplayer game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun arcade game for single or pvp/co-op game.....the bad is has not to save progress, you have to play entire the tournament...it reminds me old school game for sure...8.5/10 Very good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't disable voice. Also not so good -.-''
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ta bien weno la verdad
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who Needs FIFA or PES! I've only played one match [England 1 Australia 0] and it's great fun. No fouls or offside You can have Matches from 3 to 30 Mins You can turn off the power-ups There is no save in the World League, but who needs that, I used to play SWOS on AMIGA for hours on end, without saving... I'm going to try the World League on Hard!!! Great Game COME ON ENGLAND!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ITS A SUPER FUN ATCON PACKED SOCCER OR FOOTBALL GAME
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →O jogo é muito bom, eu realmente gostei de jogar com amigos. Esse jogo é aquele jogos coop de sempre, jogar com amigos é legal mas jogar sozinho é um saco.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Golazo! Soccer League This game delivers on it's promises of being a callback to arcade soccer! Great fun, and definitely worth it to buy on sale! I'd argue it's worth its default price, but I did buy it at a discount. Pros: -The controls are simple, yet effective. No need to overcomplicate things. -Incredible 2d artstyle, and an ok 3d artstyle. -Powerups are well thought-out. -Lightweight, can run practically anywhere. -It's not over-bloated with licensing! -Slide tackle anything that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty fun to play, but it randomly lost a game save (or something??) - I was playing the world league and was undefeated through 7 games... Fired up the game so I could continue the season, but just - poof - it's not there anymore.. Also there's no way to save during a cup/tournament.. As someone who grew up in the time before memory cards and game saves (anyone else remember having to enter "passwords" to continue your game??), I don't long for the time before I could save my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I generally recommend this. It's not great, but it's 'good'. Sometimes it should switch you to 'defender' status when no one has the ball and it keeps you as offense. Sometimes simplistic can be a good thing, but there was just no flavor in addition to that simplicity. I did like that the controls and everyhting were simple. I just think there are definitely better team sports games out there even though this did 'aight.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun game, especially with friends. A simple note, please, the flag of Saudi Arabia is upside down
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun for hours on this game, sure wish there were more challenges but as is a great game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun, but the mechanics are a bit wonky at times. It is fine for what it is.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, having so much fun and isn't overly realistic which again creates more entertainment and laughs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was struggling in the eternal fight between fifa and Pes, or efootball,or whatever it's name Is, and then, all of a sudden this game showed up, AND OF COURSE IT WAS MY CHOICE! Golazo Is fun, it's Easy, and keepers are Better than fifa. What else to Say? Nothing, just buy it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its meh, really fun to play with friends but gets tiring after many hours of playing, i recommend buying it when on discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This has better gameplay then fifa and pes and its more fun 2 play :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple game without any pretention.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played very little (almost nothing), the tutorial didn't respond, and from the one match I played, the keyboard controls seemed a bit difficult BUT once I get a controller I'll be back and try again. Really like the look of it, nice style
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game. Reminds me of Fifa Soccer ´95 (I don´t remember if that was the name). A soccer game, but very arcadish, unpretentious, and colorful. Great to kill some time.
