Not having working multiplayer and selling your game at at a discount I feel are scams of the customer basis, will be contacting steam for a refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like a beatiful cake yet without any flavor. This game is extremely bland, if you aren't getting it for screenshots you're throwing money away tbh. Coop tag should also be removed as multiplayer doesn't work anymore.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing melee combat game. For me one of the most interesting and thrilling melee combat games out there. Gameplay wise 100% recommendation if u like melee action with alot of depth, cool mechanics and very intersting build variety. BUT Always online game, which could be easy an offline game, the always online part is a very deliberate design decsision probably by the greedy publisher, as always. Since months now u cant play this in coop anymore but u still have to be online. And when they take…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Be wary! Single player only. There is no co-op/multiplayer option, since they shutdown the serves without any notice.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay and Progression is fluid and feels good. melee only Warframe with the loot system of Borderlands ! Servers are back online and stable you can play in co-op with your friends as of June 2026.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scam. States it's a "co-op" game. It is not. Servers don't function and the company in charge of fixing it shut down. Steam needs to either set up servers themselves or manually change it so the description does not include "co-op"/"multiplayer".
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would have 10000% recommended this game, as the game itself is fine enough romp with friends. Genuinely not balanced for solo play IMO, only really solo-able once you have an insanely broken endgame build, which you're not really getting to on your own. That isn't really the point though. My buddies and I have been playing this daily for the past week or two without a hitch. Great vibe game, fun, exciting getting new gear. We were finally starting to get our builds going with the drops we've…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Godfall Rating: 5/10 - Mediocre Godfall is one of those games where, at first, you think: “Why is this game not more popular?” It combines a decently Fine combat system that very much feels like a slightly enhanced version of God of War 2018’s combat system by at least having the decency to have more than two weapon types and a better boss/enemy variety. Godfall also has some Great art direction which ultimately results in a fairly enjoyable initial 5 hours of a boring campaign that,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honest review, Game is fantastic, cinematic are great, story line is there, that being said i didn't get this game for the story, combat is amazing! take-downs feel smooth, weapons feel powerful, high skill level required, there are still some bugs, especially playing with multiplayer during tower mainly, most of the game really happens in the endgame content so best not to listen to any player review under 20 hours of game time because they don't know what their talking about, the game in my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No longer supports Online Co-op. -100 HP
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not up-to-date on why people hate this game so much (other than always-online Gearbox shenanigans which, yeah...), but it seemed to have all the elements of all the things I was looking for in a decent fun hack'n'slash so I picked it up on sale for ten bucks (and let's be honest, that's the real price right now, it goes on sale all the time). Game is awesome. Fun, weighty, not-too-complicated combat with a decently-sized skill tree and enough build variety to get you thinking. Satisfying…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought to play with friend. Multiplayer servers do not work. Do not buy if you want to play with friends.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off, my hours are low as this is not the account I put hundreds of hours in on. I played this for a long time with my friends on PS5 and we loved the grind. The mechanics in the game feel seamless, the weapons "felt" powerful, and the game-play loop as a whole wasn't too bad. However, what killed the game for me was when they introduced the "revamped" ailment system that changed the entire landscape of the game. Put simply, there were cool builds and synergies that the old ailment system…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I won't recommend a game that requires an online connection for solo play. Apart from that, the game is kind of okay-ish more or less, although definitely mediocre or below average in every respect. I doubt I'd recommend it even if it had offline solo, but I also don't regret buying it on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Should have it's co-op tag removed. There is no longer multiplayer in this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NO MULTIPLAYER - DON'T BUY!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Coop is dead and no one is fixing it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game gets a lot of unnecessary hate for the fact that their co-op servers went down for about a year. As of yesterday, it has been rebooted. CO-OP is available. With that said, the original studio was bought out and there was obviously a transition period. All the hate in the last year is from that and that alone. Anyone who claims the combat is stale doesn't understand what makes good combat actually good. Also, the sound works just fine. Perhaps your system isn't capable of running the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As of now June 2026, online multiplayer is back to normal and working great. Very fun and fast paced action hack n slash looter, highly recommended especially when the game is on deep sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game. People hate this game, but I LOVE this game. This is probably because I don't care about it being always online or the multiplayer being broken, because I'm happy just playing this game solo. I'm having just grinding this game solo. The graphics are gorgeous, and the combat is challenging but so much fun. Yes, there's a lot to complain about but, honestly, none of it so far has outweighed by general enjoyment of the whole process. There are so many negative reviews of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two huge strikes 1) Always online. Having to wait while it connects, knowing that one day they will shut down the servers, for a single player(able) game. This is unacceptable, I regret the purchase 2) No way to save and too infrequent auto saves. You will frequently have to replay sections if you have to quit cos you know, life. And the the story: Bad guy must die. I think that covers it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to play this in 2026 and got a connection error which booted me out of the game from the tutorial. Game is broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really liked the visual style, expressed both in the locations and the characters - a genuinely pleasant sight. The combat system is enjoyable and responsive without being overly complex. There's also good weapon variety, and switching between them feels good on a gameplay level. Personally, I loved the armor design for the main character and the Valorplate suits - I'd rate that highly, very pleasing to look at.That said, the world itself feels a bit empty in terms of actual content - there's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay after few hours I finished main story. Game isn't bad, but it's typical slasher, slash or crash your enemies, get more equipment. Pros for good optimalization and endgame content. Cons: Story or none of story, few dialogues per mission and that's all. Buy when it's on the sale. Graphics: 10/10 Soundtrack: 7/10 Story: 3/10 Gameplay: 6/10 Optimalization: 10/10 Overall: 7.2/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game punishes you for exploring. If you don't follow the checkpoints and do the missions EXACTLY how you're supposed to the mission objectives won't update. It's done it on numerous missions, forcing me to restart. Finally got to the Blacktide mission and the prompt to exit the level won't pop. Stuck wandering around the level, unable to progress any further in the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Heard about a lot of negative reviews about this game and Steam review as mixed I decided to give this game a try. As the gameplay was appealing to me with hack and slash combat as well as colourful environment I enjoyed Godfall so much. I absolutely recommend this game to anyone who likes hack and slash combat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely worth the $10, so get it on sale if you are interested. First thing, it's nice that all the cosmetics are something to earn in game and not tied to shop. Seems to be a rarity today with newer games that its a praise for something that used to be normal. this version does give a few of the Valoplates some starting cosmetics too, which is nice. Combat takes some getting used to, but is very satisfying once your start learning how to build the right skills and weapons into a Valorplate.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why am I lagging and rubber banding in my single player sessions? Genuinely a great game that is horrendously pulled down by its always online requirement that should NOT exits.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, don't. This 2022 game is obviously a flop and requires a mandatory connection to some servers to play. Which servers can be shut down at Gearbox own discretion. Only for this reason the game shouldn't, at least at full price, be purchased. A part for that, the gameplay loop is good and the fighting punchy. Unfortunately, the lack of variety in the different Valorplates ultimately kills what little interest there was in a very meh story. Indeed, there are only two different Ultimate…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Play for the gameplay not the story. If you're a casual gamer that likes action looter games with a sense of progression you'll most likely enjoy this game. Melee-focused.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Servers are online (for now) but playing with friends doesn't work anymore apparently, you can invite them into your group but you can't start any missions together, you also can't start a mission solo and then invite them into an ongoing mission, you HAVE to start missions together. Maybe others have more luck but for me, playing in Coop doesnt work anymore. Don't expect the Online Coop to work if you buy this, it might work, but if it doesn't it's basically gonna be a (always online)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get it on sale, awesome game. Very satisfying hack and slash with interesting almost AAA mechanics. Underrated devs and an underrated title.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm loving the game without any Live service elements. Beautiful, smooth, and interesting lore. The one downside is it is still tied to a server, and the problems that entails.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Godfall is a visually stunning loot grinder that combines fast-paced melee combat, a cinematic orchestral soundtrack, and sprawling, intricately crafted realms. While the story feels paper thin and often disjointed, the game compensates with fluid combat mechanics, a wide array of loot, and a flexible build system that rewards experimentation. Each Valorplate comes with its own unique abilities and customizable augments, encouraging players to tailor their playstyle. In my experience,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great visuals, pretty fun gameplay, OK story, and respects your time. You can be in and out of a mission in less than 5 minutes. For me the big draw is the gameplay itself, which in my opinion strikes an OK balance between difficulty and fun. You can become overpowered and steamroll through things, but the process of getting there takes time and a bit of effort. The valorplates look cool, with a few unlockable reskins. Overall I would recommend this game for people looking into fun looter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No more co-op? I want my money back!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the best action RPG I've eve played (and I played a lot, A LOT) I've never saw such a great combat implementation where it is always feels fair and if you're defeated, it is always you not the game's error. No microtransactions for the cosmetics, all of them can be obtained by playing the game. From all of the games I have in my library (and it's over 1000) it's on the 2nd place, just because Cyberpunk on 1st. I had this game in Epic Store but bought it in Steam just to replay it once…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every time I see this game in my library I'm reminded of the mindnumbing and dreary time I had playing it and nothing else.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have to agree with some of the negative reviews here. The game is a nonstop looter. You are endlessly getting gear and weapons and it makes gear upgrades seam trivial and worthless. Not only that, but it's a chore to have to keep comparing gear and weapons EVERY TIME you loot a chest. It got super annoying that I didn't even want to bother looting chests anymore. Combat also got boring really fast. I abandoned the game after 6 hours. I just couldn't get through it. The story line…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →boring and repetitive in all aspects, either missions or combat. Online mode was removed. Don't buy this ****
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Servers are down, can't play with friends.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Godfall is a open world hack and slash game where you're the last of the Valorian knights who gains new weapons, sheilds, armour and abilities as you unlock new knights with different abilities to take on your foes. (Online Co-op doesn't work) Graphics- Good Soundtrack- Pretty good Audience- Teenagers and Adults Difficulty- Alright difficulty, but by your self it can become a bit challenging Story- Descent story Game time- good length Price- Its abit pricey 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tbh its kinda fun but the shutdown of servers mixed with how some bosses is literally just slam your head till you make it, it just isnt worth playing now
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely love this game, sucks the developers are no longer around. Multiplayer had some issues, finally was able to get into a multiplayer game by creating a party, then adding my brother to my Godfell friends list, then inviting him to the party and even then it took 1-2 minutes to find the match but once we were in all was good. Might give this a try if you have not. We will continue to attempt multiplayer games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Godfall Ultimate Edition gave me exactly what I wanted, which is gilded, testosterone-poisoned nonsense. 10/10. However, if we must be objective, Godfall is an flawed game that is pretty difficult to recommend. People with more taste than me will likely find the entire presentation to be laughably cheesy (and even I would have to admit that the storytelling is extremely weak). From a progression standpoint, Godfall's loot and character customization seem to only become interesting at the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't think comparing this with God of War is a good idea. Clearly they took inspiration and that's not a bad thing. It benefits from that greatly. Of course that are many things to criticise here. But all in all it's fresh breath in the genre and deserves a chance. Give it a try! Just don't expect a triple A experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would be a recommend if the game was a lot more stable, and didn't have so many connectivity bugs. This game has a lot of things going for it, the combat, the music, and all the inner systems working within. It seems to follow some normal gameplay ideas, but there's still some spice to it that makes it unique and enjoyable. I enjoy the weapon techniques and parry mechanics and how they flow into combat. The weapon and plate designs are fun, and the different playstyles they each bring is a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this game is a bit of an underrated gem. It's not the greatest game ever made, but i love the aesthetic and the combat is kinda fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →servers are broken and its online only s0
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have completed the base campaign in this game. When I started the Fire & Darkness DLC, I got stuck and couldn't do anything after defeats "Flameblood Abomination". I restarted the game and the mission had to start from the beginning.. this is awful
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun time, honestly. Nothing astonishing, or anything, but it's a fun hack-n-slash game, with looter mechanics. Seeing reviews saying that they shut the servers down, but I can matchmake just fine, the game's just dead, so matchmaking doesn't do much. I do not think they've shut down though, though I wouldn't be surprised if the company doesn't exist, now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why i even got this. maybe it was part of a bundle. its just cringe metallic furry stuff.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I originally played Godfall on console when it launched and recently decided to rebuy it on PC — and I’m honestly glad I did. The game looks stunning on a good setup, and the smooth performance makes the combat feel even better than I remember. A lot of people overlooked this one at launch, but it’s come a long way. There’s plenty of side content, strong endgame loops, and lots of builds to experiment with thanks to the Valorplates and loot system. Once you get into the rhythm of chaining…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Combat felt very clunky with usage of iframes and while the game can be completed solo some fights seemed very much designed with a party in mind.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a fun game, but its abandoned by the devs, so no new content, and any skins you would get from shift codes no longer does anything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Devs, your game is garbage. There are so many egregious things wrong with it that it's not worth reviewing much more than that. There are so many game breaking bugs I can see why the game was only $8.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Possibly the worst game I have ever played. Godfall is barren of anything that could possibly illicit joy. A truly awful unrelentingly miserable experience. Let's start with the gameplay. In short it's awful. In depth it takes every idea it has from the recent God of War games (a shield for blocking and parrying, a short step dodge that when double tapped becomes a roll, generic light and heavy attack with minimal combo routing, powerful abilities on short cooldowns). The system used in those…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm so glad I gave this game a chance, this game is absolutely stunning. The combat is fast paced and fun. The customizations and weapons are in depth. It's a mission based souls like combat looter progression. And if you play it on hard for the missions it feels truly difficult and rewarding. Started it yesterday and ive already binged 8 hours. I didn't get it for a long time because of bad reviews... personally I don't understand the bad reviews. This game is a blast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →idk why this game gets such hate i enjoyed the hell out of it 120 hours making builds was fun and great gameplay
