(more on that below) Overall Gigantosaurus is a pleasant, open-world, 3D platformer to play with your kids. It's not groundbreaking, nor a must-have, but if your kids are fans of the show, they'll have a good time with it. My kids enjoyed it enough to play through its entirety with me. However, note that there are some minor annoyances (listed in the "cons" below) that could be a deal-breaker. Pros Cons ✅Animations…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually one of the better children’s franchise games. To be honest, I never heard of Gigantosaurus before, but it’s obviously aimed at very small children I guess (judging from the rhyming and the simple story). Anyway, for the genre the gameplay was surprisingly solid, a 3D platformer collectathon with an alright length (took me and my wife around 10 hours to 100% complete it). That said, playing single player the game feels more like a classic 3D platformer, while in local coop…

But in general why I'm into this game?? I know that the game itself was kinda not for my age. But myself, big fan of 3D platformer like this, I can't really pull it away. Its very lightheaded game. The original show might get me into as well. The fun part for me is just keep collecting and unlocking. Also has quite huge open-world to exploration. Racing mode is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun little platform exploration game, only downside is the terrible camera that is fixed on third person overview and turns whenever it feels like it other than that a good experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →extremely short {around 2 hours} decent gameplay {basicly just standard platforming} definitly not worth 25$ but id say it was worth the 1$ i paid for it thru humble bundle
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My daughter enjoy this game a lot, she is 6 years old. This game is child friendly, nice graphics, sounds, races and teaches the child the basic skills to control games characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was honestly expecting a super low effort shovelware offering for an obscure French Canadian TV show that only got two seasons... What I got was a legitimately entertaining little platformer. The kiddo really likes the racing, and the easy difficulty mode lets her just focus on running around pretending to be Tiny or whoever without getting frustrated or even trying to accomplish any of the game's goals.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this to play with my kids (ages 4 & 6) it takes some warming up to, but we have a lot of fun together.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kids show or not, a fun co-op open world collection platformer with some stealth and puzzles. Explore everything, collect all the eggs, don't be ashamed for liking kids games! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxNkcyiBaRI
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oldschool gamers will have a field day with this one. LOL Its like Mario 64 but with dinosaurs. LOL
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the show, love the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gigantosaurus The Game is a decent 3d jump-and-run, between mediocre and worthwhile. It seems to target kids in terms of narration and story presentation. It doesn't stand out in particular, with anything special, positive, or unique. Platforming is mostly, but not always, easy. + Good variance in environments * Free-roam levels, Racing transition levels, Quick-Time last level * Similar tasks with some variance surrounding them between levels * ~3.2 hour story playthrough (a lot of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought to play with my kid(4yo - gamepad). She had really fun times alone and co-op as she was big fan of the series already from books and cartoons. Exploring the open world with quest helpers, switching characters and solving puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried this out on Steam Deck after getting it from a Humble Bundle. It runs smooth naturally with Xbox button layouts instead of the Steam deck outputs, so it's definitely playable for an experienced gamer. This game so far as I got to try it for the first level is better than I expected. I had no idea this was based on a show, but the game itself does a great job of introducing the story of the game with a narrator and introducing the gaming elements as you encounter them in the game.…

Very useful if my younger daughter is stuck or something is too hard, then she can teleport to me and continue from there - characters have 3 interaction buttons (jump, tailspin, interact) which is my, the tailspin/attack is optional and I think you can finish the game without it - there is no pressure of time, so we can just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game for my 5-year-old kid, and he enjoys it, of course sometimes I need to help him, but mostly he plays himself. The only problem is absence of Ukrainian localization, so I need to sit near him and translate everything. I wanted to buy other games of this company, but unfortunately it's difficult for kids to play games without the language they can understand.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5/10 decent little kids game cant use controller and keyboard to local co-op need at least 2 controllers to play with friends would grab on sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well...the first thing is it isn't working. The "Auto SAVE" message just stays on the screen. HELP
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is the closest you will get to Donkey kong 64, for the aspects of the multiple characters that have relatively different abilities really only that you need for one to do something to get you further like knock a log down, other than that the four characters are the same, and you collect eggs that were scattered, its not quite story absorbed as old school DK 64, its kinda something you can youtube, and check out, i liked at first but its definitely not worth that price you can buy at Wally…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked up this game as I thought it was a good local co-op. This game is very much meant for young children. Probably fun for them, but not for my wife and I.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great for kids. Great level design and gameplay for 6-10yrs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got This game as a humble bundle. Originally because it was split screen co-op. Honestly this is a game that I can say is great for all Ages. My 65 year old mother enjoys it. The controls are simple yet fun. The mechanics are basic but enjoys able. At least in easy mode the game holds your hand perfectly so great for younger kid or older non gamers. The game play is Honestly really fun. Reminds me of a more basic spyro.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have you played Woodle Tree Adventures? Yeah its like that but slower, and better for kids. Its written like a children's book, and in THAT STYLE, its well done. I am unfamiliar with Children's Medias pricing, so I will refrain from recommendations, and just say I would not spend 25USD (full price) for this. Everything works, and 4 player split screen is actually really nice and should be rewarded. Dont see it anymore. If your an adult without children, maybe choose another game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best played with other players or friends camera angle is bad thou
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you download this game only for playing by yourself, that would be a big sin! Ask your wife, your partner your kids neighbours orphans or aliens to play with u fckwitt
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It crashed a few times, jumping felt floaty and having to go back and forth every time to return the collectibles for 5 out of 6 levels was tedious, but I played it with my cousin and he seemed to enjoy it so this gets a recommend for fulfilling it's purpose. Still I think the eggs shouldn't need to be carried back one at a time as even a young kid will get bored doing it, the 6th stage where you teleported to the start after every objective was way better if you actually want the player to go…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gigantosaurus: The Game is a bright, cheerful adaptation of the animated series, designed with young players and families in mind. Developed by WildSphere and published by Outright Games Ltd., it embraces a tone of gentle adventure, light exploration, and accessible platforming rather than aiming for depth or complexity. The game allows players to take control of four enthusiastic dinosaur friends — Rocky, Tiny, Mazu, and Bill — each with their own small signature ability and personality.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/5BazRDiKefM Obviously a simple game for children, the play and controls at least hit the quality to show respect to even young players.
