unlabelledView post →Wait, I've been learning Gary Grigsby's War In the East 2 to meet chicks, have I been doing all of this for nothing?????
unlabelledView post →I was playing M&B and RDR, and I was like "This is fun, I should find more games with good horse/riding systems" so I clicked the "Horses" tag. I've learned the level of horse detail required for a wargame/western is like Risk, but for a horse girl cozy game it's like Gary Grigsby's War in the East.

unlabelledView post →the War in the East series (i'm sorry, Gary Grigsby's War In The East 2, A Gary Grigsby Game) takes the hex and counter base and throws incomprehensible air and logistical systems that require you to learn all this. It's too much! No one is telling these people no!
unlabelledView post →HOI is for noobs. Try Gary Grigsby's War in the East!
unlabelledView post →Extremely minor fun gaming fact: In Gary Grigsby's War in the East the USSR can use transport aircraft as bombers and Ploesți is *just* within range of the Crimea Which leads to some amusing counterfactuals where the panzers run out of gas before Kharkov
unlabelledView post →Paradox should make a final expansion that transforms the game into Gary Grigsby's War in the East 3, just so the multiplayer tryhards wash out when they actually see a real war game.
unlabelledView post →It's this one, for Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2

unlabelledView post →You're an old soul. Time to pick up a HOTAS and join a Flight Sim group while also starting a game of Gary Grigsby's War in the East that you'll play off and on for the next 15 years.

unlabelledView post →If I'm in charge of a battalion, it's literally not my job to manage each platoon, so don't make me. This is why I hate Gary Grigsby's War in the East - you're in charge of the whole WW2 Eastern Front and you can pick what size bombs a squadron will use on a mission.
unlabelledView post →it's funny how apparently in Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2, a general that loses too much can get withdrawn and/or executed wondering if i should try and get all the "good" German ones shot
unlabelledView post →I am being completely sincere when I say I dreamt about playing Gary Grigsby's War in the East earlier. Dreaming about playing wargames... It was over for me but it's never been this over.
unlabelledView post →Looking at Steam and GOG sales, and I like to imagine that I'm the kind of person who'd play Gary Grigsby's War in the East, but I could write a book in the time it would take me to get a handle on it. I'm glad such niche games exist though (even if it requires charging $80 retail for a 960 MB game)
