60 of 63 · most liked firstBorked controls and feels like a bad port. Gun angle is off. Head steering only. There is a another movement option called "Controller" which means you push Y button to move forward. Again, steering is head only. You have to click in your thumbstick to run, and keep it down. I haven't seen a game do this since 2016. This game has all the hallmarks of a lazy port. Even the controls menu brings up the steam vr controller remapper. RESPONSE TO DEV: My point is Thumbstick movement is always…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not PCVR, this is a really low-poly PSVR game with very low-res textures. That said, there are many nice scenic views, and the very low-end graphics can look nice from a distance. If only the gameplay was awesome, graphics may have meant less, but this really feels like a low-IQ and mediocre shooter. Levels are simple, opponents behave like they have an IQ of 50 - and you're just wandering through simple boring levels shooting much the same simple boring opponents. Not even the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fracked on PCVR after having a long reputation for being one of the best PSVR games, I have to admit this does spark a bit of curiosity for die hard PCVR gamers doesn't it? Watch my first session in Fracked here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-Yf-zQUmKE Fracked starts off quite relaxed in which you have to follow a helicopter as you ski down a mountain to avoid an incoming avalanche, which ultimately makes for a pretty tense moment. Controlling the skiing is not that difficult and you do…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Marked as not recommend cause there is no in between option The game is about 1.8 hours at most from me just going through it on normal. Its fun here and there but its not worth $30 for how short the game is. Only three enemy types, you only get two guns, the rest are temporary that vanish from your hand after you deplete its ammo. Story is interesting but you go to point A to point B quickly. The art style is beautiful but only snow here and there. You cannot two-hand weapons or even duel…

Although they did a great job on PSVR, this game feels like it was made for PC and hopefully coming to Quest soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Initial impressions: Great surprise so far! Visually appealing and mixed action ideas, and I loved already Ski games. They feel as a speed rush in VR. I hope to see more Ski action and more FPS parts before giving a more complete review. My only problem so far was that the default controls on VIVE were annoying; so I just edited them to disable the rotation completely for roomscale. Problem solved and enjoying the game :) PS: I just saw another review that is complaining about this game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun arcade shooter. If you are looking for something colorful to throw on and run and gun, not think too much, it's perfect for that. It's not too deep, and you can pretty much predict the waves, but that's not always a bad thing. The duck/cover is really cool using your non-dominant hand (it does work left and right handed). The climbing is some of the funnest I've had. I came in with the right expectations, and I wasn't disappointed. It's kind of like a "B Action Movie", if you know…

Had a borderlands look to the graphics, shooting was fine, didn't see any graphical glitches or bugs...ran smooth as butter for me!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →some facts first. 1. i paid full price ($30) 2. it took me 2 hours to finished. 3. i played on a valve index. TLDR: It was fun, i liked playing it but there's no way its worth full price, $20-15 maybe. its was fun only because there are so few story driven campaign's in VR and i was really itching for one story is fine, serviceable. Gun play is meh, they made a couple decisions i find odd. why make ammo limited but place so much of it everywhere? isn't the point of limited ammo to add a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool art style and a nice low poly aesthetic, but unfortunately first impressions aren't good beyond that. The game starts you off by doing a bit of downhill skiing where you steer by leaning your head side to side. If you're like me, it glitched as you loaded in, so you were perpetually spinning in circles while going down the side of the mountain. After making it past the skiing section (and almost losing my lunch), I noticed that the look joystick wasn't working. This was the result of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the climbing is alright and the skiing is interesting, but the shooting is boring and the AI is braindead. a perfectly "meh" game

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played all the way up until the drill level, killed all the enemies, got the crystal, then was soft locked at the bottom of the drill with no way to escape until I was grenaded to death. Only option would be to replay the entire generic 15-20 min wave shooter level again to maybe pass the soft lock. Graphics aren't sharp, things in the distance aren't believable because of the rough edges. The art style is fantastic and if the pc performance was brought up to par with modern VR games this port…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game. 100% recommend. It is fairly short and very linear with not much exploration available/needed but the voice acting, the non stop firefight action, crazy skiing and cool "duck and cover" mechanics make this game feel like your the star of an action hero movie. Here's a link to some gameplay footage for those interested in checking it out. https://youtu.be/VHWoiXutO24
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only played for up to 30 minutes and am returning due to motion sickness inducing scenes, so take my review with a grain of salt. Game mechanics for shooting are smooth. I really like the holding onto cover system and the firefights are intense. The opening by skiing down a slope caused me to feel heavy motion sickness due to the ability to change direction too quickly, so I felt forced to ski in a boring straight line. Lastly, the graphics and textures are a bit too low resolution by today's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played for 10 min, can definitely say some work was put into the game but its controls are designed psvr. the skiing head lean mechanic is so badly implemented that it doesn't even register movement half the time. The gun reload mechanic is archaic and from a psvr game as well, you do not get the feeling like you are reloading the gun at all. Refunding.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love fracked on PSVR so much so i leapt at the chance to play on PC and it does not disappoint. Amazing gameplay, superb cover mechanic i've never seen before and beautiful visuals. audio is very immersive and gun play feels very clean and intuitive. ignore my 2 hours in game I've played more on playstation and it will grow soon
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, but a bit short, took me ~2.5hrs to finish the game on Normal difficulty (on easy you get lasers for your weapons, on hard you only have 1 life) And while its short and sweet, it has a few things to fix. As far as i could tell the game never tells you to try to "face forward" whenever possible, and this is an issue with like skying, where if you are looking not forward, its a pain to control your motions. With the vive wands, the aiming is a bit off, index controllers are way…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is basically a cheesy B-grade action/sci-fi movie in VR form. I mean that in a good way. Most of the game revolves around arcadey cover-based shooting. You grab onto cover with one hand, then pull yourself around to lean out to shoot. It works really well for the most part. The skiing sequences were the best part for me. They had a great sense of speed and spectacle - it was awesome to go off a big jump and see everything go into slow motion. The climbing sequences were also cool. It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game should be delisted
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm enjoying it. It has a mix of gun play and climbing, but excels at neither. The head tracking is limited to the skiing sections only. They are awful if you are sitting, but are tons fun if you play standing. You gotta put your body into it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I appreciate the hard work that went into the game, and I absolutely love the visuals for this. I understand the developers aren't going for realism but there's too many restrictions, and immersion breaking things for me on this game. For example having invisible walls on low to the ground staircases is silly. I love nDreams and have liked or loved just about everything they've put out. But this just isn't one. I think this game would do wonders on the Quest 2 platform, but I'm not sure that's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was a fun, albeit repetitive 2.5hrs. You'll be one handing a few different weapons but mostly an SMG. All the enemies fight the same tho they introduce a mini-boss like heavy part-way thru. Checkpoint system can be infuriating, especially on the final act. Your hurtbox gets EXTRA wonky if you play in a large playspace because the game tracks your position in the world relative to a circle that's suppose to be underneath you. If you move too far away, you might take phantom damage - especially…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed this quick title! 5 hours of gameplay, very attractive cell shaded art style. Simple but fun run and gun shoot-em-up action. Thought the skiing sections were very well done too. Story was ridiculous, though. Made very little sense. $30 is a bit steep though, so I'd wait for it to come on sale.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty decent shooter with a unique Cel Shaded (XIII style) visuals, fun gunplay, decent music, and a great cover mechanic. The gameplay could use a little mixing up from time to time, as the combat starts to get a bit repetitive by the ending where you've seen the same 3 or 4 enemy types for the entire game. But the game is only around 3 hours to complete so doesn't overstay its welcome. My only recommendations for new players are: - Play around with the visual settings as by default…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok the graphics are a bit low textures and poly but it doesn't make that much of a difference and the game itself is amazing but first just saying that when you need to eat some seed to gain power to climb stuff and its very hard to pick it off then try to twist it and put your mouth close to it so you can eat it. But anyway the combat is fire, the weapons fire, The bad guys alright and the finale boss is weird and will take some dying but overall this game is good and it took me 3 hours to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ this game it is so full of little bugs. Many of which cause a complete halting of progress. Which requires a restart of the game. Then I need to do the entire mission from the beginning.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Poor quality graphics, poor controls, and Eco Freak propaganda poured down your throat. What's there not to like?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On sale, it's worth it just for the skiing parts which are a lot of fun. Very arcade-y. Wish you could dual wield, sniping would have been cool. Overall very simple arcade game that feels old, but is fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I did enjoy this game. Was fun to have some variety with the ski slopes, facilities and vehicles. My friend tried VR for the first time with this game at my place, and I had to catch him as he tried to lean backwards when going down the slopes. :)

The player takes on the role of an unlikely hero battling an onslaught of interdimensional foes known as the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a very fun, simple and straight-forward action-adventure/shooter. It features a pistol, MP5K and 3 (if I recall correctly) "Power Weapons": Revolver, Shotgun and Grenade Launcher. There are 2-3 separate sequences where you get to ride on skis and the rest of the areas are varied with shooting while using cover and moving around the levels and also implementing the use of zip-lines, which is fun, although I wish the zip-lines moved faster! haha. The action is great, engaging and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fast paced, high action, check your brain at the door shooter, that is way too fun and over way too soon. A recommended o. Sale purchase
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game once you get used to the controls. The graphics are almost a cell shaded look. Good action game for sure
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reason I’m giving this a thumbs down is because in order the steer while skiing down a cliff you have to tilt your head side to side to steer. Dumbest mechanic in vr I’ve ever seen. They should let you steer with the thumb stick or hand controls. Steering by tilting your head makes it impossible to shoot enemies without crashing into a tree. I found the only way to shoot enemies while skiing was to blindly shoot to the side in hopes I’d hit them so I could keep my head straight. Steering with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Refunded. I was initially impressed with the skiing and tutorial phase of the game, but later on, I found the overall gameplay to be lacking. Firstly, the free locomotion direction cannot be changed, despite the setting being available in the gameplay menu. It does not work and the locomotion freezes completely when you resume the game. So it seems the only option available for free locomotion is head-oriented locomotion. Secondly, the audio is too low, even when I increase the volume to the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game for twenty bucks! It's not Half Life Alex but it's silly and fun if a bit repetitive. Certainly worth the price of admission.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The graphics are simple but if you want to see how it is like to be James Bond this game is for you. It would be nice if they make a game with Onward graphics and this type of game play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As stated by others, this game is very short, I finished the game in just under two hours. There are no complex mechanics, and no physics based interactions, however this was likely outside of the scope of a psvr title. The game feels like playing through an action movie, the cover system aids greatly with this as you can easily manoeuvre and fire with no effort. the heavy tracers on all shots allow (and encourage) you to do silly things like blind firing and shooting the guns sideways like a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fracked is a pretty chill game, and the campaign lasts about 3-5 hours. The gameplay is fun, and doesn't get repetitive like I thought it would. So if you are looking for a fun game to have a few sessions playing, Fracked is a good choice. However, if you are someone who likes to get every achievement on most games they play, I would suggest to not get Fracked. All the achievements are pretty easy and don't take too long, except for one. Basically, you have to beat the game on hard mode, which…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The good: - interesting cover system. - Hitting the red barrels and seeing the enemies being blown away feels good. - I liked the art style. The bad: - Despite the game being short, the combat does become repetitive. - There is only a handful of enemy types (I would say 3 different types + 2 bosses, technically there is more as one of the types can have different weapons, but they feel the same, so I count them as one), the combat feels very samey throughout the entire game and not very…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty cool hour or two of a quick-paced story that feels like a low-budget action movie in a good way. can definitely tell it used to be a PSVR exclusive in some ways that lead to really interesting decisions, like the cover system (which is shockingly smooth and allows for some slick takedowns without too much risk). well worth a run through.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10 - at Sale price, Good! at Full, Bad! Total 8 chapters, about 2.5 hours game play. the Good, Well voiced, nice BGM, & VR mechanics work well. Surprisingly, skiing works well with only head directions. VR worked well on Quest 3 /w VD Streamer. the Bad, Too Short for full price, lacking visuals, with only three enemies types & only two selection of guns with few 'limited ammo' special weapons. the Ugly, Once you get the SMG, ducking, cover-play is out the window Gung-ho SMG till the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Half baked, annoying, buggy mess. Can't even execute the most basic gameplay loop or story correctly.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →on the shorter side but is a fun time and has a lot interesting design ideas, especially well made vr cover shooter with mechanics in place for people with disabilities and bad backs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a neutral recommendation. Giving it a thumbs up because it feels like the game has unfairly low steam rating right now - 57%, and it is definitely not that bad. Fracked is a fast paced VR cover shooter with some ski action sprinkled around. The gameplay is solid and fun, cartoony visuals look nice despite lacking any noticeable graphic improvement for PC release, but the content is very limited. About 2 hours of campaign with only 2-5 weapons, 3 enemy types and very bland bossfight.…
