60 of 174 · most liked firstThis game is deep. I thought it was a simple little farming sim. I was waaaaayyyy wrong. There is tons to do and a whole lotta depth. I finally got the graphics set just perfect, so it looks great. I was farming, got my tractor, working on getting married; thought that I was over 50% done with it. Turns out, after watching some videos, I am barely 8% into this game. Talk about value for you money. I don't even care if they work on this game anymore, there is plenty do to do for your $17, or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I played Farmer's Life i had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Farmer’s Life is an interesting and engaging farming game with a unique start. You begin as a broke, drunk villager with no tools and slowly build your life from nothing — working the land, buying tools, animals, and machinery. The progression feels rewarding and keeps you going. There are some quirky mechanics (yes, including moonshine brewing), which give the game its own charm. However, the performance and optimization are a serious problem. I played this on RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to give this one a thumbs up. It has the stoopid humor and absurdity i can get behind. I love the old aesthetics. Even the jankyness in some of the mechanics makes sense (purposely done weird). It's the things that aren't supposed to be that way though that just kills all the fun the game should bring. Like taking animals out of the pens. I thought maybe it would get better with the bigger later buildings. Like maybe it was overlooked but maybe resolved. Nope.. The cows get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would NOT reccomend. In this game you play as an alcoholic derelict farmer / war veteran who's guide and farm helper is a pig. In theory this game sounded great. I love games where you work towards cleaning up the farm and doing barn activities, however, this game was annoying and bland pretty much right off the bat. The first thing that happened when I opened the game, was it rerouting me to a google form to review the game. Then, once I tabbed back in, I started a new save and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best survival-farming sims i've ever played. More rustic and hands-on than Farming sim. You actually harvest materials and construct buildings instead of just placing them down. More hands-on caring for and feeding animals. Storing crops and materials so they don't rot in winter. Really well done. You can play any way you want. Agriculture, animals, fishing, making alcohol, or doing some of everything. One of my favourite things is that the devs seem to care about allowing users…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8/10 - An Enjoyable and relaxing Slavic farming experience. I find this game strangely relatable and peaceful. Finding your purpose in life, when you thought all was lost. Using your hands to build up a farm where industry would use machines. Not everyone had access to it, some feared the change. But you want to be something more than another town drunk. There's much to explore, and you can lose time just planting some crops or hunting. I've barely experienced building or full farm with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’m about 20 hours in, and I have to say that I really like this game. It’s a solid farming game set around 1955, which means you’re working with older tools instead of modern high-tech equipment. At the beginning, for example, you use a horse and plough, which really adds to the atmosphere. Also, despite what some earlier ads suggested, there’s no crazy stuff with the pig. It’s simply a companion animal that can also be used for breeding with a sow. The farming itself isn’t overly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly, in it's current state, I can not recommend the game. It's a shame, because it would be fun and interesting, but all the annoying bugs make it pretty hard to enjoy. Animals keep teleporting outside the farm, and get stuck almost every time I try to put them into the pens. They keep glitching through the walls of the Outbuildings, and wander off into the sunset. Managing a lot of animals is a nightmare. Whenever my wife tries to put my horses into the pens, they end up floating in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EXTREMELY RELUCTANT YES. So, the game functions fine enough mechanically. There's farm tasks and hunting and exploration and loot, which is all fun, but where this game absolutely drops the ball outright, and unforgivably, is that it's just aimless. You get tasks, but there's hardly any way to track them. Some random person wants a fox pelt, and you've got a fox pelt, there's no way half the time to even tell who the quest giver was. It's extremely inconsistent in this regard. Sometimes it'll…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Farmer’s Life is a little gem that more people should know about. It was released a some time ago (2023) but developer is still following up with minor updates and fixes. The latest was march 2026. OK you can see that it is not a big studio production. The graphics, textures and animations also show it’s age a bit and it tell the tale that focus during development was put on gameplay rather than perfecting visual elements. NPC’s and other game animations are “wooden” and static while some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad optimized, things are rendering just before my eyes - close to me, GPU high temperatures (wtf?), stuttering.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve played this for some time, and all I can say is that it’s quite immersive and some the functions are really nice, although I wish that there was something like a greenhouse for growing crops in the winter. Back in the day people use to have really simple greenhouses out of glass bottles and I think that I would be nice to have this in the game. Otherwise one of the best game out there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game that has happened to stay consistent for years. I like what I've built in my game, it was very slow and tedious at times, but I really enjoy seeing the progress. Not every game needs to be action packed. Sometimes you just want to slow down and figure things out while a field of hard days labor matures in the background while you go take stock, brew booze, or roll tobacco. With that said, a few quality of life features like inventory-sort would be nice. You're giving me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🎮Farmer's Life presents a distinctive gaming experience which demonstrates the complete experience of farming through its highly immersive and engaging gameplay. We assume the character of Kasimir who works as a farmer that manages his agricultural fields while dealing with all his daily life challenges. The game teaches us the balance between hard work and the challenges of everyday life, in a way that is both realistic and humorous. This one goes beyond the classic farming simulator by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoy the farm Realistic 👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am really enjoying the game however, there's lots of room for improvement. That being said, the graphics are excellent (when the frame rate doesn't drop), and the fact that the game is set in the the 1950s in post war eastern Europe makes it unique in the world of farming games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ripping potential new players off with 'dlc' that really should be just updates to the basic game, which imo has very little to recommend it or entice people to play it. With the dlc now costing more than the original base game, its easy to see this is just another way to money grab over a failing game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is rough, clunky, and in places clearly unpolished... Despite that, it’s genuinely a lot of fun and very engaging. I recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a game that looks very jank - it's a bloody masterpiece, don't let it's intial appearance fool you. This is a very detailed acoholic eastern european farmer simulator. You'll sink hours into the monotony.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Farmer's Life offers an authentic and immersive experience in the world of virtual farming. From the moment you start, you're immersed in the life of a farmer, with all that entails: from planting and harvesting crops to caring for animals and managing your own farm. 🧠The game demonstrates its unique characteristics through its detailed design which creates realistic experiences. The graphics show decent quality because it has the ability to transport us into the countryside through it`s…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know what it is about this game that makes me obsessed with it. It's unique in a weird way to any other farming game I've played. It's not perfect, there are a few bugs/annoyances and it needs more content, which is coming. Anther DLC in about two weeks as I write this post. Anyway, its got some kind of magic that makes me tolerant of the small issues. Maybe it's the post WW2 setting in a small town? Maybe it's my farmer's quirky nature and having to cure him (or not) of his…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WOW what a good game and for the price are you kidding this is one of the best farm sims out there. i was gonna write a long review but tbh i want to get back at it hahaha
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hoo boy is it bad. The mechanics, graphics, performance, english, quests, "VA", UI, sound design.. Just all of it. BAD. If you are morbidly curious, wait til it is 5 or under.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game so much. It's so darn realistic and I love it. I don't even love it for the comedy. That's just okay in my opinion. What really sells this game is it's gameplay and realistic elements along with it's overall depth. What do I mean by depth? You can sit in your kitchen listening to radio watching snow fall outside while waiting for your stew to cook. Then you can step outside and smoke with your wife or if she's in bed already then smoke alone. You can then, in the morning, go…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →maybe the game has nice graphics i liked it in the beginning .. but a lot of details and no good tutorial! very boring very depressing and full of negative vibes! no good music confusing no tasks to do or story to follow....sorry i asked for a refund! maybe more updates the devs make it more fun :\
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is bad in many ways, but also unapologetically weird and i have to respect that. My biggest issue: There is a lot of DLC content present in the base game. In some cases, I was even under the impression I would eventually unlock some content in-game, until I found out it's actually part of a DLC. Not good. Which leads to another issue: The English translation is bad. In some cases, one item gets translated it different ways, leading to confusion. Also, the game is not good at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Usually I like these kinds of games but this one has too many problems. Got the quest to plant carrots. Did so but then they started to vanish. Found out the pet pig eats them so reloaded a save, build a fence and planted the carrots again only to have the bloody pig eat them through the barn walls?!? Okay. Reload the save again, planted them further away with fence all around only to have half of them rot away while the others where still growing. That's when I was done.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game, you can ride a pig and punch your neighbor in the face while drunk. The farming is pretty decent too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I appreciate this had a free weekend it is extremely buggy. The first glitch: you can't move the camera until you restart then it miraculously starts moving. Second glitch, the horse will not follow you. Takes 3 maybe 4 attempts. 3rd glitch: this one takes the cake, you are yanked out of the field while trying to plow and cannot get back in. If you have patience then try it, but this many glitches spoils gameplay for me. Cannot reccomend in good faith! Save your money until it is fixed!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good. Simple, badly optimized but has the capacity to raise a syndrome of "I'll just finish this one thing and I finish for today" resulting in realization "oh crap, it's the middle of the night already??".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →is it posibble to live till 2000's in this game?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the only Farm Sim I know of where you can step on a landmine if you're not careful. I really liked the rugged realistic setting, but that the game isn't so unforgiving it isn't fun. I know they originally thought of including enemy soldiers raiding your farm, but frankly I'm having a hard enough time with my alcohol withdrawal! It's a great mix of danger and fun. Heck I was so invested after my first playthrough I went and bought all the DLC extra stuff. If the game is that fun vanilla…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its fun but im not a fan of there being paywalls for stuff thats already in game that is not what downloadable content is thats a paywall the big annoying thing is i didnt know that there is no way to regrow trees i spent alot of money on maple tree seeds to find out there only for decoration also i had gathered all the landmines and had them in bags to be put away when i had time and the next day/month they all despawned so that sucks i love the world and esthetics but it needs more polishing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best part was when farmer started speaking
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanksfully it was free. This game is coded with the a** : I'm stucked at the start of the intro because the horse is turning in circles and can't even go in the fields
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay seemed interesting but the story and random stuff in the game was a complete turnoff the pig wouldnt shut up. after the useless tutorial there is nothing telling you what or how to do anything. the audio is completely horrid. i wanted to play the game for its core gameplay but the stupid story and random ass people trying to fight me in town kept me from playing. the core of it looks good and graphics are good. but why ruin it with this drunken BS.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not polished, but it's surprisingly addictive. It has a specific protagonist character and supporting characters you can get invested it. The farming activities can be a bit janky but I enjoyed them enough to persevere anyway. I do recommend it if you like the idea of a farming life sim.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh, look, DLC .. should we be surprised that we get milked more and more by every game dev and publisher nowadays? BTW Dev, the negative review is due to the fact the game itself sucks balls. The DLC was just the extra that tipped the iceberg.. We all know the funds are not being used to improve this game, but to fund your next flop project. This is the typical grindy farmer game that offers nothing new nor innovative to the gaming community. It is hard for us gamers whom want REAL games to get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot believe I am really into and enjoying this game so much. Post WWII Veteran K. with his alcoholism ( or do you help him overcome it ? )struggling to make ends meet and a viable farm in Soviet Russia based territory. So much fun, so much to do, so much to see. Farm, tend animals, deal with your life / home / and despair. Runs great. The only issue I encountered seems to be uncommon but on occasion for some of game not ever 'stopping' on STEAM screen. It does not hurt anything as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game with an amazing development team
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really hated this game when I first started playing it. but because I saw all the positive views I forced myself to keep playing it. now I am glad that I did, because this got really fun for me. I just bought all the DLC...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the game! A bit woknky here and there ut the devs keep on improving it. And the setting is so unique!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cozy Eastern European Mid-Century Alcoholic Simulator As much as people call games "cozy" if you slap enough pastel tones on them, I think for a certain age or temperament among us, "cozy" is only a state you achieve after a day of hard, productive labor that keeps the memories of past, greater hardships at bay and you are finally able to relax to a hobby or rumination over recent accomplishments over hard liquor of choice. To me, this game is very cozy indeed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great concept and could be good, but is super janky and very limited in scope.... don't even get me started on the physics for pulling trailers
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried it a moment. planted zero crops. got to day 2. Technical quality is good, aesthetic quality also seems like it has potential and there's more of a story to it than just "farm your life away"; tho it was a bit fedex-y already (I mean, it's a task sim, so I guess that's to be expected, but still). But ultimately i'm passing on this for political reasons -- sends the wrong message about how to treat animals. Kick the horse? No. Fetishizing killing animals by making trophies out of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is almost humorously bad. Its saving grace is fluffy your pig companion. I couldn't get past the first bit of gameplay it was that bad. If you really must get it, at least wait until its on sale. I honestly don't understand why there is so many positive reviews for this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The pig is so irritating. Do one thing, then sleep. Need to put out a fire while its raining.....but can't jump worth a ♥♥♥♥ so can't reach fire. WTH even is this crap
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't play a game where the character sounds like a mumbling, bumbling fool that is completely and utterly incoherent. We just got over that in Nov 2024-Jan 2025. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't blame me, I didn't make the character unplayable with his incoherent nonsense. Also, if you didn't want to focus on the main character speaking, it should have been silent from the start.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's definitely one of the best games I played in the simulator game genre. It's not polished nor optimized. Far from that. There are bugs, frame drops, and plenty of typos. But that gives it a unique charm that, for any other game, would be a game-breaker. As a farm simulator, it has a surprising amount of depth to it. Tons of mechanics and complexity, like farming, milking, drinking, composting, eating, sleeping, distilling, riding pigs, horses, and cars. The story and missions/objectives are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game. It is somehow greater than the sum of its parts. Between the unique story (recovering post war alcoholic), the setting/era, the excellent farming/crafting system, and the 1st person perspective (that stays that way, I despise when games snap in and out of my selected perspective for certain actions), this game comes together to be easily one of my favorites in quite a while, and probably the best farming game I've ever played. It is not without its negatives though. It…

unlabelledView post →The game is more in depth than I first assumed, extremely fun and you can easily spend hours on your farm. Looking forward to more from the dev!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of my favorites. The ideal game, from my perspective, does not exist, but this has many of the features. Plenty of restoration work, and hunting, farming, and fishing that are more convincing and less silly or cartoonish. Good human element and a beautiful open world...especially as you clean it up. I would drop a couple of the assignments; I found the Christmas decoration assignment so frustrating I just gave it up. Fist fighting with women is pretty dumb. But the other items…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an interesting game. It has some bugs, but only minor ones. Some balances are questionable, though. For example, I had a lot of wheat grains to transform into flour to sell. The way I did it as a quest, it was more profitable to bring the grains to the miller. But the second time I did it, I lost a lot of money (about 8,000 coins) and time (2 full days), because the miller would charge me more than the price I would get selling the flour. Also, the cows often escape a space that's…
