52 of 52 · most liked firstAs someone who loves MMOs, literally have thousands of hours on WoW, guild wars 2, Rift, ect., I love this game. I think it has the structure to be one the best MMO lite's ever made. But this game has some serious issues with bugs and performance. I understand its early access but running on average 30 fps on a RTX 3070 no matter the resolution, is unacceptable. Server lag is terrible. The bugs are terrible. Me and my buddy have fallen through the map and moving platforms too many times to…

This free trial would give players a chance to try the game to see if it is something they wish to buy. Please leave a suggestion if you like TY :) happy Gaming.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After more than 300 hours in Farever, effectively no lifing this game, I feel like I've earned the right to speak on what this game does well and where it still has room to grow. To fully understand the game's systems, classes, and build diversity, I leveled and played 2 Warriors, 2 Priests, 2 Rogues, and 2 Mages. I didn't do this simply to collect characters—I wanted to experience each class at its fullest potential, being someone who is heavy into PVP, and competitive aspects of PVE, I found…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy this game, it could have a lot of potential... But it seems like the devs can't handle the problems with the hacking, duping and "infinite gold bug". They even said, that there will be no server wipes - ever! They dealt with the first dupe bug and everyone was happy about this. BUT, they didn't ban anyone who used the dupe and didn't got rid of any items and gold they duped. These "dupers" handing out items for free to random people and destroying the economy of the game. Yea,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game developers are most likely using AI coding to make this game. There is endless bugs on bugs with almost zero communication from the developers on plans to fix them or address them. Major problems: -Cheaters/Hackers. Currently there are countless cheaters from flying across the map to just duping whatever they want. The developers have been allowing it to happen without banning them and economy already has essentially infinite max tier weapons and are selling them for free or dirt cheap…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beware that, true to it's word, this game is excruciatingly Early Access. Despite it's little bit of clunk and definitely unfinished state, there's a lot to chew on in Farever, I really appreciate the ambition on display, though of course the risk with any Early Access game, is whether we will get to see it manifest fully or not. Farever's focus is mainly on exploration and a slow completion grind, people will be quick to compare it to Breath of the Wild but it's much closer to a blueprint…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MMO/MMO-lite, not hundreds of players per channel I don't think but it's definitely an MMO. - Super fun action combat with exploration, played several dozen hours of the beta. - Think a simpler action combat version of BDO, with a Guild Wars 2 style gearing system (overlapping gear amongst classes & that changes half of your skills). Transmog like GW2 as well. - Big open world with dungeons & bossing, overworld bosses as well. - Crafting & gathering is in, but you can boss to get gear which…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a veteran MMO player, I must say this is incredible. Of course, some features lacking, some technical EA issues, but the core, the combat, the fluidility, the easiness and chill of the mmo is wow. I like that you have a lot of flexibility around builds, the hotkeys work smooth, the skill changes are impactful, the combat is skill based not blindfull 1-2-3 rotation, I'm amazed and fingers crossed for this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I guess we are all desperate for a new mmorpg, and this seems promising, but the stutters and frame drops really break the immersion...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Farever starts off really strong and hooks you in quickly, but the further you progress, the less fun it becomes — at least for me. The biggest issue is that the game leans way too heavily into puzzle-platforming mechanics. It constantly becomes “jump here, shoot this, activate that so you can jump somewhere else,” over and over again. Even the dungeons are designed around these mechanics instead of focusing more on combat, exploration, or progression. What makes this especially disappointing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little game. Well worth the price point. Mechanics and combat feel really smooth for an indie MMO lite. Please please please just add OCE Servers. There is more than enough Aussie players wanting to try this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would say i got better than avg pc but i got these rly annoying stutters constantly. would refund but steams return seems to be bugged aswell giving the error
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No group finder or matchmaking for dungeons, so you have to go on their Discord to find people... It demands performance superior to the latest AAA games while it looks like a F2P MMO from 20 years ago. The servers keep crashing all the time, and there’s so much ping that it makes the game unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a fun time. But i cannot recommend it due to all the technical issues and mosly the preformance is horrible. And that should not be happening when your game looks like this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. Terrible optimization. Cannot even surpass 40 fps, and there are constant lagging and freeze spikes. I have RTX 5070 TI, so I doubt the issue is my rig. Not coming back until the devs take care of this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Servers are always down, pay for a game and you are never able to play it. Go to the discord and they just gaslight and delete any negative comment. Would have supported the game if it wasn't for the mods on discord trying to hide the problem. Just admit your servers can't handle the load and say we're working on it, simple.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Twenty-five hours in and currently level 18, I’m having an absolute blast. The game strikes a perfect balance between World of Warcraft’s progression and Zelda’s sense of wonder, packed with platforming, deep exploration, and dungeons featuring genuinely challenging bosses. Even with the server issues and occasional performance hits, the core gameplay is more than strong enough to carry the experience. It’s a fantastic MMO-lite that already feels worth the price. Just remember: it’s Early…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →while the gameplay loop is really fun and the design is pretty nice but it has some problems. some of the problems can be excused for early access and some should have been fixed before they thought it was ok to charge money for this game. - how does a game that looks like this run so poorly? 4070 recommended for this is a joke - please get an OCE server? why does china and asia both get servers while OCE gets nothing? china is in asia... - the lag makes the platforming difficult. I play kaizo…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot recommend this game enough. It does nearly everything right, and despite some server issues, I’ve had an absolute blast playing. The gameplay really stands out. Dungeon mechanics are engaging and fun without feeling overly punishing, and the open world feels truly alive—there’s something new around every corner. Combat feels great, and the variety of content is impressive. Between jump puzzles, treasure chests, time trials, diving, dungeons, quests, world bosses, elite enemies, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game constantly freezes and reloads areas, kicking me from parties and dungeons. Unplayable. I joined the official discord to search for a solution, other people having the exact same issue are drowned by responses saying it's a system error instead of a server one. Discord community keep repeating to report feedback "with the in-game reporting feature" but developers haven't spoken about server issues anywhere except to mention they fixed everything magically in a patch note while the issue…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will not recommend this game until they fix the performance this game runs like a dog on its death bed
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First impressions are that the foundation of this game is very strong. Combat feels good, the map feels fun to explore, dungeons are fun. But performance is unacceptable on all fronts. The game constantly flickers, vsync is broken and will lock the framerate to a multiple of your monitor (if you have a 144hz monitor and get 130 FPS, vsync drops it to 72, as an example), there's a random flashing light frequently, the servers lag insane amounts, basically everything regarding visuals,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate to say it, but wait. I'm not saying it's garbage, not remotely, but wait. I really dig this game. I like the aesthetics, the combat feels good, and the exploration is stellar, but there are enough issues that I wouldn't advise people get it yet. I know, "it's EA," but they're asking for money, so here we are. It's a psuedo-MMO, but it feels like they don't know what they want to do with that. If you play single player the big bad dungeon bosses absolutely suck to fight, and you're…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game itself is fine, slow updates but they are fun-ish, performance and optimization is awful tho, reliance on 3rd party mods is a must and developers don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the player base, its a good game just pray and hope you won't ever need support or be affected by a bug. This week people lost 100s of hours worth of inventory items and got compensated with a middle finger. Still, if the price sounds right to you it is a good game for what it is.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Look at my PC? Why does the game stutter? Why do i get 2 sec lag spikes that litterally freeze my game up for like 2 secs ? Why does the game get only 100+ barley on my PC? And they have the audacity to release more contetnt like this isn't a problem?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is is good? Hell yea! Is it ready? Nahh. I was really enjoying it, but servers lagging, making it pretty hit or miss on blocking. I will 100% be coming back in a few months and see is that's fixed. It's really the only thing hold it back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the base of what's going on with this game. Physically cant stand what's wrong with it. Server lag is atrocious, every 7-10 minutes my game will freeze for 10 seconds before sending me back to a respawn beacon and i loose the last minute of progress. Also requiring a 3060 for a game that easily looks like it could be exclusively a mobile game is absurd. Forza has lower system requirements than this game. Would love to play, but the current issues of running 45fps and almost lagging out…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Considering this a EA and only up to level 20 when they plan for level 50 cap. im amazed by the amount of content in the game for level 1-20. Extreamly excited to see where this project goes. as of currently playing (100 hours) i have 1 of each class at lvl 20 each with a legendary wep and full bis gear so ive played a fair bit. PSA - i would ignore people who have less than 3 hours in the game complaining of a lack of content... they are probably just too dumb to figure out how to read…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game good, it’s fun. Honestly I am really enjoying this a lot as it has a lot of what I want which is fun action combat, character progression and builds, solo and co-op style play, exploration, dungeons, etc. I am recommending this game purely due to what the game offers, but ultimately the elephant in the room is optimization. This needs to be cleaned up as it should run well and I think once that is resolved this will be a hidden gem especially with the road map. Recommendations for the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As an MMO veteran of 20+ years, I went into Farever expecting the usual early access issues, and honestly the server stability problems weren’t too surprising. Most MMOs struggle with launches, even lighter-style MMOs like this one. Despite that, the game actually left me pretty hopeful for its future. Starting with the positives, the combat feels really solid. The combination of class abilities and weapon skills allows for a lot more variety than I expected. Even though I personally enjoy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me preface this review by saying that this game is genuinely fun. Honestly, it feels like a collector’s dream, taking a lot of what works in BDO, Guild Wars 2, and other MMO and gacha titles, without immediately drowning you in aggressive monetization. At least for now. So why don’t I recommend it? Performance and network stability. A lot of people will point to the obvious Early Access label, and fair enough. But the technical state is rough enough that the game borders on unplayable at…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah I'd absolutely recommend the game but not to everyone. Who would like this game? 1. People that enjoy action adventure role playing games. 2. People that enjoy perfect timing mechanics within combat (blocking, dodging, etc) 3. People that both enjoy exploration and want it to be rewarding (cause it is here) 4. People that like experimenting with builds (character/weapon/gear/skill setup) 5. People that want an MMO experience but hate dailies, pop-ups, and other terrible…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll probably come back and give this one a try again if/after they implement some of the performance improvements on their roadmap because it looks like it is going to be a lot of fun. But currently, it runs my 5090 at over 83c. That is WAY hotter than a game that looks like this has any business running. Hopefully they add some additional options (there are only like 4 or 5 things you can adjust currently) and optimizations that make this one run like it should.

unlabelledView post →This is the only real NEW, not p2w mmorpg that has come out in the past 10-15 years. Core gameplay is perfect but there will be a lot of negative reviews until they fix server stability, fix the inventory management/player trading, and add a minimap. Suggestion for devs: The tried and true player select channel system would be perfect. Being able to select a channel would allow players to pick a less busy channel to play with friends or solo with less lag. The Busy channels wil be good for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the first game I've reviewed, and I can say without a doubt it's hitting all the right notes. That said, the servers are the biggest issue with the game in its current state. When that gets fixed, this game will be a monster if they don't make this P2W at all. This game has great fights, good gearing, good crafting, and a wonderful world to explore. I haven't played a game like this in a long time, and hope they can keep it up. The bosses have good mechanics and it's fun solo or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't really like reviewing early access games, but this one already justifies it's asking price in it's current state. After over 70 hours of gameplay I think it's already safe to express my opinion. I used to be a big mmorpg enthusiast back in the days of Star Wars Galaxies, WoW, AoC and many others, then I got fed up of the rat wheel mechanics and the tab targeting combat. I decided to try Farever not because it was an mmorpg but because it looked a bit like a Zelda with somewhat action…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven’t been this addicted to a game so quickly since Wrath of the Lich King in WoW. After almost 53 hours, these are my honest thoughts: OVERALL EXPERIENCE - Farever feels like a smaller, refreshed version of WoW. - The visuals are amazing, and the open world feels large and free to explore. - The first zone hooks you with new experiences that feel different from other MMORPGs. - The developers are active, listen to the community, and regularly update and fix the game. MOVEMENT,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is fun and is a potential goldmine as long as they listen to the community it will be possibly the next big mmorpg
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its good, give them the chance to fix bugs before shi**ing all over them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Logged back in to play after awhile, game has become unplayable with the amount of stuttering and lag i get. Core game overall is good, but suffers a lot of stability issues.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is 80% jumping puzzle 20% RPG... the performance is abysmal, this graphic should not need a powerplant. It has memory leak probably becase the more you play the more it laggs. The most irritating issue is, when you do a juping puzzle (which is the whole game) and you jump, sometimes it freezes for 3 seconds... in which timeframe you just die and can start again... reaaly irritating. The game has potential, but I cannot recommend it in its current form. Wait until it is optimised. PS.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before you skip this based on the reviews, understand that the core gameplay is excellent. We're looking at a small indie team (15 devs) navigating the MMO server hurdles. I’ve put in 7 hours and the "potential" is very real. If you can't handle the disconnects, wait a week or two for the patches to roll in, but please don't judge the entire game's quality based on temporary launch-week lag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played all phases of the playtest and i am very pleased to say that i can recommend Farever. Performance was somewhat of an issue that seems to be mostly fixed now and was the only real thing holding the game back imo. As long as you keep the settings on high or lower it seems to run very good. ultra for whatever reason really tanks the performance whilst not adding that much visual fidelity. Added info: there also seems to be an issue with vsync right now so i recommend disabling it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: - fun gameplay loop - unique dungeon mechanics - really enjoyable with friends - cute n goofy vibe - lots of potential Cons: - server delays n server downs happening daily (sometimes multiple times a day 😭) - party system still buggy - need to return to main menu just to regroup - getting separated into different channels after dungeons is annoying - frequent stuttering & fps drops Overall, im still having fun with the game n can honestly see the potential here i recommend waiting few…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun to play even if patience is needed when the servers are inconsistent sometimes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for a mmorpg that could be played solo, and this game lets me do exactly that. The map design reminds me of Wuthering Waves, and the combat reminds me of a roblox mmo called Vesteria. I love those games so this was perfect for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun early access mmo-lite which already shows good potential if the Devs stay on top
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it and played 3 hours straight! Feels like a game from an era of games long forgotten, areas simple yet interesting to explore, with secrets etc. Doesn't hold your hand too much, expects you to experiment with classes weapons etc and has many mounts and collectibles for you to get. Still in very early access tough, so expect lag sometimes and a somewhat barren world. Beautiful views though. Combat feels rewarding. I hope for more classes, weapons etc in the future!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loving the game, but I have been hit by some weird rollbacks. I also get some crazy teleporting to the leader of the party. It is almost like i am an NPC set to follow the lead character and I get pulled back randomly. Still, loving the game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been playing a bit of Farever lately and I've been really enjoying it. It's actually really REALLY close to the type of game I want to make. A sort of psuedo MMO adventure game that can be played totally solo or with a group. #gamedev #indiedev #godot #unity3D
unlabelledView post →Been playing WoW since TBC. I've played all the popular MMOs that have released since that time. This game is definitely in my top 3. Incredible potential. A lot of room for growth, of course, but the foundation of the game is top tier. Absolutely recommend. 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 37.9 hours played, a fully geared Level 20 Priest, and a Level 13 Mage, I can easily recommend Farever. It's still Early Access, but the game already has a solid foundation. The visuals are great, it's easy to get into, and the gameplay loop keeps you coming back. It can be a bit grindy at times, but that's expected for this genre and never felt excessive. The classes, skills, talents, and progression systems offer a good amount of depth without becoming overwhelming. With 4 classes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly HIGHLY recommend. Worth every cent; don't second guess it. The game plays like what I've always wanted from an mmo since classic wow. Mounts feel good, movement and platforming elements are really fun especially with friends. Exploring on your own is rewarded with small discoveries and chests to keep you going. My friend and I continuously argued over to go for a chest or keep doing the quest we were on. Combat and builds can get some what deep while maintaining plain & simple stat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is fun but optimization needs work. Playable on steamdeck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game caught me off guard. I saw it and originally went "nah" especially with the MMO-Lyte attached. No P2W, action combat, and an art style that reminds me of Zelda. Do NOT let this game fool you though, cause it is FUN, and ADDICTING. TOTALLY worth $20. Most reviews are negative cause of server stability, however they are actively working on it and honestly, for what it is and where its at in early access. This is a BANGER. If you like multiplayer games you can play with friends, action…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 15 hours exploring Farever's open world, I've encountered a game with genuine potential that's unfortunately is undermined by its own success. This budget-friendly ARPG MMOlite delivers a solid game for the casual RPG enthusiasts, but server stability issues threaten to derail what could otherwise be a fun little game. At its current price point, it's worth trying—just be prepared for occasional frustration when the servers get crowded.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is great, combat is smooth and looks to be plenty of build variety and grind for people who want that stuff.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't like MMOs and Farever hooked me. This game is worth buying even if development stopped tomorrow and they added nothing. I will praise mainly the combat, the exploration/platforming and the armament system. This is less MMO and more MMO-little ARPG with platforming and exploration. Combat is active: You dodge and dash, block and parry (very forgiving) and attack. Normal enemies can kill you if you don't pay attention but mostly only bosses require 100% of your concentration. I don't…
