No matter how many time I tried my account was immedietly suspended Complicating a simple login system for a game we want to play offline/singleplayer is one of the dumbest decisions made.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft has stolen a purchased game from me. I purchased a legitimate copy of a Ubisoft game through Steam. I have proof of purchase. I still have access to my Steam account. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the Ubisoft account that I shouldn't have needed. Ubisoft have effectively stolen my ability to play this game from me. I wish to still play this game that I have purchased. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the solution?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't think the game is bad but the head bobbing is killing me. I maxed out fov and disabled motion blur which did help a little but not enough. It's not worth the headaches and nausea. There should be an option to turn off head bob or better yet stop putting that garbage in games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →paid game on steam still have to make an ubisoft account have connect to internet to play a solo game so that was before, because i dont like this bs, eventually i stopped playing & lost the ubisoft account so now i cant even use a product i legitimately paid i have to crack a game i legitimately paid just dont buy from ubisoft

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought Far Cry 4 on Steam and literally can't play the game because Ubisoft Connect says there's an ownership authentication error. I've contacted Ubisoft Support multiple times and gave them my proof of purchase, Steam ID, screenshots, launcher logs, account information, and every email I could possibly have used. I followed every troubleshooting step they gave me. Their answer? “The game is activated on another account.” Then when I ask which account, they say they can't find any account…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far Cry 4 is definetly worth playing no matter what year. It has smooth gameplay, a decent weapon variety, nice graphics, a good story, Good replayablility, and overall is a great game. I've 100% finished the game and I must say I loved every moment of this game, and in my opinion the best far cry in the series. But i am biased on the matter - Far Cry 4's world really just sucks me in. The setting of being in a fictional Himalayan country based on the countries of Nepal and Bhutan is just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am rating every single Ubisoft game down due to my hatred of the add on app of Ubisoft Connect for single player games for some reason and annoyance at buggy achievements not unlocking due to Ubisoft Connect server issues. (Also this is yet another game that is impossible to 100% due to the servers being dead)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cannot even launch the game due to Ubisoft Connect. Ubisoft Connect is a cancer to society. Never buy Ubisoft games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best far cry game, ubisoft launcher is trash
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never buy an Ubisoft game. I tried to run the game but it says "problem authenticating ownership". But the funniest thing is that it is my first time running and I only have 1 Ubisoft account, I tried all steps provided by support but still nothing happens. It sucks I can't refund this game because I got it a long time ago. I really hope this company goes under because of its greed and hubris.

I've lost my old acount due to ubisoft lazyness to help me out. Got hacked by a urbezquistan guy (or that is what his ip address says). Have contacted ubisoft to help me, they didn't care so here i am. Look out for project lighting (software). It's on github. It may help a lot of you to just play these awesome games with stupid drm." Stay safe.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely everyone should play Far Cry at some point Rating: 9.5/10 If you played any Far Cry game after 2, you know what to expect - Open World full of Outpost/Fortress liberation, Hunting and crafting, stealth, story, graphics, INSANE VILLAIN, and much more. Ability to ride and attack with Elephants is absolute fun! Guns are customizable (scope, suppressor, skins, etc). Tons of option. Map is Huge, mini-helicopter to traverse easily. Slangs in "Hindi" language is…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought Far Cry 4 through Steam expecting to play the game, but instead I was greeted with an "Account Ownership Issue." This is my first time purchasing the game, and somehow Ubisoft's system thinks I don't own it. The game itself may be great, but Ubisoft's account and DRM system completely ruin the experience. Paying customers shouldn't have to spend hours proving they legally own a game they just purchased. What's even more frustrating is Ubisoft Support. Instead of investigating the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this is just Far Cry 3 on severe steroids, and I’m completely fine with that. Everyone hypes up FC3 for the nostalgia, but mechanically, 4 improved on basically everything. The good: Kyrat is gorgeous and actually feels fun to explore. Pagan Min is a fantastic villain (wish he had even more screen time). The grappling hook and the buzzer completely fix the traversal issues from the last game. You can ride an elephant and crush your enemies. The tactical variety is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sometimes you go on a holiday towards what seems like an escapade to a boring, repetitive life, and find yourself in the middle of a civil war in a small state close to India and Nepal. Well, in that case always try to make the most of it, like improving your wasted tourist clothes, shamelessly poaching endangered animals to craft purses, terrify locals playing with explosives, accidentally overrun people with your stolen vehicle and so on. A brilliant villain and fantastic music create an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a big fan of Far Cry series but... I lost my old ubisoft account and now I can't play the game anymore bcs it's said it's linked to my old account. Been asking here and there to the Ubisoft support but doesn't resolve my problem. This game is in my Steam library but I can't even access it. Now if I want to play this game I have to purchase the same game in my new ubisoft account. What a waste? And it seems many also having the same problem. If only y'all can solve this problem!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far Cry 4 wastes no time throwing you into the action. What begins as Ajay Ghale's simple journey to fulfill his mother's final wish quickly turns into a fight for survival in the middle of a civil war. Going into this after finishing Far Cry 3, I was impressed by how much the game builds upon what came before instead of simply repeating it. Kyrat is a fantastic setting that feels completely different from the tropical islands of the previous game, and that change of scenery helps make the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to play it the first time. Told me my account was suspended due to multiple failed attempts to log in. Followed the link for the support, told me to rest password, still the same. used another email to create a new account, still the same error. Gave up, refund pending.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely love this game and the many mechanics in it graphics are pretty good too considering how old the game is ,controller works great, only reason negative is selected is due to having to having to have the ubisoft account and online for a single player game , cant stand ubisoft intruding on my pc and having to be linked to them and ubisoft program running in background while playing. Apart from that its awesome
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is another excellent entry in the series. Incredible villain, fun story, characters, gameplay...birds. Negative review because Ubisoft Connect did to PC gaming what HIV did to humanity.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was one of the first games I played on my PlayStation 4 back in the day. I replayed it recently, about ten years later, and it’s just as fun as I remembered, maybe even more so. First of all, Kyrat is beautiful, and I mean beautiful. This game doesn’t look like it’s from 2014. The views are breathtaking, and the setting feels truly unique. It really makes you feel like an outsider in a foreign land. The gunplay is solid. There’s a wide variety of weapons to try out, but truth be told,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Downloaded Far Cry 4 Opened the game and immediately realized everyone in Kyrat is completely insane Random guy: “You should probably avoid that area” Me: “trust” Drives directly into enemy territory Accidentally starts a war Gets chased by 14 guys, 3 cars and an elephant Me: “I got this” Dies to a chicken 10/10 game 9/10 wildlife 0/10 my survival instincts 10/10 me obviously
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft Connect makes it impossible to run on Linux. I have tried multiple solutions without success.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In case you want to play it on the Steam Deck - I’ve personally not been able to launch it. Couldn’t get past through the Ubislop launcher at various stages. Edit: I switched to Proton 9 and finally launched the game. Why the game won’t launch on newer Proton versions I’ve no idea. Maybe if your products are good enough more people will buy them? Making life harder for your customers is a privilege reserved only for those whose games people will buy no matter what. Not Ubisoft. But those…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, I liked the game. Gameplay 9/10, Story 7/10, Graphics 9/10, Characters 7/10. For me, the story lacked depth and emotional weight. There were some cool and crazy moments, but overall it’s pretty generic. Still, it’s awesome that there are 4 different endings instead of just 2, so props for the replay value. Running around and exploring the world was a blast, so my overall rating is 8/10. Personally, I found it a bit better than the previous game :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting game, but very short. I had some trouble at border control, but then an eccentric rich guy showed up and handled the situation. After inviting me to dinner, he mentioned that he knew my late mother. Turns out, he's my step father! Unfortunately, my tour guide overstepped and started texting at the table. Uncle Min (I think that's his name), escorted him out of the room and left me to finish up. After waiting an unbearable amount of time, he finally returned and provided…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Used to be a good game. Ubisoft now requires their own buggy installer to play anything.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was supposed to play and finish this game almost a decade ago when I had a console but I gave up. Finally years later with a PC, I've actually finished the game and the gameplay feels mostly the same as Far Cry 3 (with few changes) but the story was really great. One time I shot a cage to let the tiger out to attack the enemies, but for SOME reason, it decided to run and climb all the way up to the hill where I was hiding to attack ME instead, when there were ENEMIES RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →having to launch ubisoft's launcher (which never remembers my login information and often crashes) has basically killed any desire I have to play the game. why does it have to be like this?

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve spent a good amount of time in Far Cry 4, and overall it’s a really solid and enjoyable game. Kyrat is a beautiful and wild open world, full of chaos, crazy moments, and that classic Far Cry freedom where everything can go wrong in the best way possible. Gunplay feels good, outposts are fun to clear, and there’s always something dumb or epic happening while you explore. That said, I still think Far Cry 3 was better. Vaas, the story, and the overall vibe just hit harder there. Far Cry 4…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →requiring 3rd party apps gets you a negative review i have never seen any game botch borderless mode like this, and its been broken since release (11 years ago). also ubisoft connect is cancer
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is decent, at this point all far cry games feel exactly like the same formula. However, 4 seems to be the most polished. Ubisoft, NOBODY likes the connect service. Especially when you dunces can't even make sure it works correctly. This ruins your reputation, and its easy to fix. GET RID OF THE CONNECT SERVICE! Or you will end up creating piracy as a result. If your games are too difficult to buy and way too easy to steal, that will be of your own doing. Also, if people aren't…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i was so excited to play this game, then after i saw the ubi**** connect, i was totally disappointed, and i knew it was going to be a bad ending.... Why the hell would you ever need to log in an account on a SINGLE PLAYER GAME? like it doesn't make any sense... So before doing all of that, i left far cry to download overnight, because of how bad my internet is, i woke up this morning so much hyped to play the game, launched it, the ubi**** connect appeared, i was like oh god this doesn't look…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finished the game in 10 minutes and spent the next 20 hours just marveling at the genius of the scriptwriter. That Far Cry, where the main villain is actually BETTER (morally, economically, and even politically) than the handful of rebel heroes who offer you either drug trafficking and force labor or forced marriage for children. I am grateful for the opportunity to play this game on the right side.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good far cry game, lots of activities, interesting setting. Get the game on sale.. The only bad thing is that ubisoft launcher ir required to run the game.....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy open-world shooters with lots of freedom, side content, and emergent moments, Far Cry 4 delivers a highly engaging experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best FPS games ever made - and still holds up pretty well more than 10 yrs later. Coop is a bit of a hassle sometimes. This is the first Far Cry installment to make part of the open world multiplayer as far as I know and it doesn't allow you to do story quests while in coop which is a bummer. Very happy it finally brought achievements to Steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →might get a mob after me but i much prefer far cry 4 over 3. pagan min is a very interesting character and i often think of him when writing characters in my own works. the world is beautiful and so are the graphics considering a 2014 release. the gameplay is fun and silly, in a good way. i tried to play far cry 5 a few times and it never clicked with me, it felt like a watered down experience than this. pick it up on sale !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Helping two clowns overthrow a fruity dictator simulator, was more fun then I expected
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Recommend if you're playing solo story mode, but do not buy this game if you're trying to play co-op. Because there is an error connecting to co-op mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before anyone buy the game please read this: be ready to fix the ubisoft connect activation code, connectivity issues for hours. The stupid launcher keeps throwing steam connectivity issue after hours of struggling. All the best!!! Worst game experience for me ever!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →* Played back in 2016, 10 years later still looks great * Probably one of the best games in the series * The buzzer copter is just excellent still * Buzzer Copter + Grenade launcher OMG! * Some real thumping weapons * The bow is special * Outposts never get tiresome to take over * 95/100
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 , I went to the Himalayas right after my session with this game, and i was shocked by how realistically that game captures the real-life atmosphere into a game. Every day, at each new spot, I felt like I had already been there :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far Cry 4 is a pretty fun game, but it can get repetitive fast. If you’ve already played Far Cry 3, this is literally the same thing but with a different story. However, in my opinion, this is the best Far Cry game. The third one is good, but I personally like this one the most. Since it’s an older game, the controls feel a bit clunky, but they don’t ruin the experience. The game has main missions, side quests, and random activities all over the map. To be honest, even on the hardest…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played all Far Cry games except for anything made before 3... And in 2026, this one is still worth playing. The graphics are still beautiful, the gameplay is more comparable to FC 3, (it changes a lot when you get to FC 5) and the story is actually really good in comparison to the newest. HOWEVER, Far Cry 5 and them playing New Dawn afterwards was on point. Those two combined in that order is fn mint. Is this game still worth it in 2026? Absolutely! Such a fun and challenging play.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →overall pretty neat game. visuals still look stunning 12 years later, if you enjoyed far cry 3 there is a high chance you'll enjoy this one. loads more activities to do and existing ones that were in 3 have been enhanced. if you like achievement hunting high chance you wont like it because there are co op achievements
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far Cry 4 is that comfort food open world shooter you boot up and suddenly it’s 2 AM. Kyrat is gorgeous, the gunplay still feels great and Pagan Min absolutely steals every scene like he knows he’s the best part of the game. The map is packed with stuff to do, sometimes a little too packed, but blowing up outposts never really gets old. Story’s solid, stealth is fun and riding an elephant into a firefight is still peak Far Cry energy. Not perfect, but it knows exactly what it is and leans into…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I first played this game as a child and absolutely loved it. It really stuck with me. Replaying it years later, I'm happy to say it’s still just as good. I can't recommend it enough!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would like to transfer my steam purchased games to a different ubisoft account. Because for example I have 2 version of Far Cry 4. I would like to play original ubisoft connect game on my laptop and steam version on my desktop. Because why not? I have 2 game versions. I have two different computers. But your games tell me that I have to login the same ubisoft account which when I login on both computers, previously registered one disconnects amına koyim.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A superb follow up to Far Cry 3. It improves so many ways in terms of gameplay. Tight controls and gameplay. The main great thing is it doesn't overstay its welcome unlike in other bloated Ubisoft games The length is the sweet spot. Graphics is gorgeous and can go toe to toe to some AAA games released in the past few years. Coop is a blast to play. And i didn't encounter any technical issue running this game unlike Far Cry 3. You can approach missions in many ways. Downside. Story. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A staple Far Cry game, basically took 3's template and expanded it. This is my favorite entry in the series, attributed to the large weapon arsenal available, gunplay, environment, and the main villain Pagan Min.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a good game but incredibly broken, FC3 has crashes but runs perfectly, this game never crashes but has so many issues you wish it did, it basically REQUIRES the Golden Path modpack to get a playable experience, you also have to go into task manager and change affinity everytime you launch it, and if you ahve a 16:10 monitor you get black bars at top and bottom which you cant get rid of without risking getting banned (the only fix is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exe that anticheats dont like)
