Fallout
Created by Graham Wagner, Geneva Robertson-Dworet
The story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there's almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. Extremely Bad I was recommended by a friend to watch this as a "must-watch," and boy, I fell for his prank. Eight episodes of lengthy, boring, disjointed torture, which leads nowhere. I have never played the game or read the lore; therefore, I am not an OG fan. My view is purely based on these eight episodes of mess. Where to begin? Well, the first episode was boring, but I stayed with the hope that something nice …

Genuinely great video game adaption that manages to walk the narrow path of capturing the feel of the games (the dark humor), while telling a brand new story that works as a television show and expanding that existing universe. Walton Goggins is perfectly cast as the worldly ghoul, he is really the star of the show. The other two protagonists are well cast as naives sent out in to the wild, untamed wasteland with …

I absolutely loved this, I was expecting it to be good but not this good probably one of the best adaptations of a game to series I’ve ever seen. It has gore, comedy and other hints from the fallout franchise as well as a great soundtrack. I can’t wait for season 2 to arrive.

I think this is a good series. It’s a mix of humor, special effects, and a great story. I believe Walton Goggins gives an excellent performance in this series. I really enjoyed it.

Having played New Vegas and Fallout 4, I'm a huge fan of the Fallout world, so the best thing I could say about this show is that it is Fallout in appearance, tone, and lore. The story is dark, quirky and humorous, taking many twists and turns appropriate to it's source material...basically everything you'd want in any video game adaptation. I loved this season from beginning to the end, and will watch again and …
How this was made: an AI model (deepseek-v4-flash) read 34 of the 277 public posts we collected about this series and wrote the summary, likes and dislikes, citing the posts behind each point ([n] opens the post). A second AI pass checked every statement against the posts it cites; anything it could not match was removed, and code removed any statement with quotation marks, numbers that are not in the posts, or unattributed claims about people. The split is counted from the posts’ own ratings. Generated Oct 13, 2026. Method

According to Amazon, Fallout pulled in 65 million viewers in its first 16 days of availability, and was the second most-watched title in the history of the platform after The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in 2022. As of October 2024, the series has surpassed 100 million viewers. Next TV also reported that, based on viewership estimates sourced from research firm PlumResearch, Fallout delivered the largest premiere audience for any series released on Prime Video to date. neutral · AI labelView post →The Fallout show feels like if someone played the Fallout games and then said “let’s make a show based on this.” Which sounds obvious but historically has been rare for video game adaptations.

neutral · AI labelView post →I just want people who aren't terminally online to know that the Fallout community is currently ripping itself apart because the TV show fans are making fun of game fans for 'injecting their OCs into everything.' Every single mainline Fallout game forces you at gunpoint to make an OC.
neutral · AI labelView post →Btw this is from a tv show called Fallout. It’s super very good.
positive · AI labelView post →Season 2 of Fallout is good I guess, but all the little storylines are structured just like game quests and it’s just making me wish I was playing a new Fallout game instead of watching this show.
negative · AI labelView post →I don't know about you but a serialized Fallout TV show in the style / budget of something like Xena or Hercules would have absolutely kicked ass.
