Pebble-dashed council flats, three-bar fires, Post Office counters, concrete shopping precincts. This must be how posh people felt playing Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.

Wanted a chill game the other day n gave it another bash and really enjoyed it. The setting was really nice too, just exploring and uncovering the story was both relaxing and intriguing

unlabelledView post →That's good and I hope well for them but also it's hilarious to me to describe them as "known for Still Wakes the Deep," a game I've never even looked at, while they made Dear Esther, Amnesia: Machine for Pigs, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Like saying "Blizzard, known for Blackthorne" 🤣🤣🤣

unlabelledView post →Oh my god, Lee! 😭 I will never not cry playing that game. Several moments during Life is Strange (1 & 2), TLOU 2, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, the end of Journey, Red Dead Redemption 2...I cry a lot 😅

unlabelledView post →Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Found it on sale and bought it on a whim. It's a slow, walking story game but the atmosphere, music, and story are so incredibly rich. It still makes me tear up thinking about it. Always my "little known game that everyone needs to play".
unlabelledView post →Your periodic reminder that even if you haven't played the game or didn't like the game, Jessica Curry's Everybody's Gone to the Rapture score is one of the most gorgeous in gaming history and you should listen to it.
unlabelledView post →Taking a break from TotK today to finish Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. I started this game last year when I wasn't in the best mental state and didn't realize how devastating it was right out the gate. Even in a bad head space, I found this game so moving. I'm excited to unravel the mystery.

unlabelledView post →Everybody's Gone to the Rapture isn't a typical speedgame. How many out there run walking sims? I already loved the game though, so finding the quickest paths for various runs was incredibly rewarding. Along with Dear Esther, it was fun to reinvigorate dead communities by beating their best times. 😎

unlabelledView post →I remember the first time I was truly blown away by graphics in a game. It was in Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, and it all looked so amazing and lifelike.
unlabelledView post →The only parts of MfP I enjoyed were the graphics and the ending. As in the game finally ended, haha. Haven't played SWtD. After Dear Esther, MfP and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture I was completely done giving them any more chances. Great graphics but everything else was missing and vacuous.
unlabelledView post →Game #16 - Scanner Sombre A great walking sim in the vein of "Dear Esther" and "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture", this game has a cool USP of using LIDAR to reveal the surroundings and show the player the story. Definitely glad I picked this up.

Both #EverybodysGoneToTheRapture and #StillWakesTheDeep have some absolutely incredible detail in their environments. From their ability to realise a little English village to their take on a North sea Oil-Rig; it's truly impressive.

unlabelledView post →78. Once Alive / STEAM Well-intentioned first-person adventure game in the vein of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture or The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, but horribly let down by a confusing plot, immersion-breaking voiceovers, and higgledy-piggledy gameplay that never quite decides what it wants to be.
unlabelledView post →Just finished Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Recommended! A labor of love, but a confusing one, where gameplay design struggles against narrative intentions. And yet, soul-stirring. #games #gaming #review #egttr #everybodysgonetotherapture

I spent like, five minutes when I played this in May and stared at the rain falling on a plastic table for like, five minutes. 20 minutes in I knew the end would bum me out. I was right. NOT the game to play during quarantine. Glad I finished it, but fuck this game. Wonder what they’ll make next. #videogames #BESTOF2020 #everybodysgonetotherapture #fuckthis
