60 of 70 · most liked firstI actually like the game, but the RNG of what cards you can get can completely break your game. For instance, there are rooms with only 1 entrance, and rooms have to connect with the nearby rooms with entrances on the same area with no no doors leading to walls. What this ends up meaning is that if you end up with two 1 door rooms at the start of the game, you'r building is stunted, or completely halted. There are some spells and items to fix that, but if you didn't draw those cards or the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is too easy to the point of being boring. The quests feel like chores rather than interesting challenges. The progression is very linear. The general idea and the art style are cool but the game fails because of poor execution and boring levels.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cosy vibes, rather easy to learn base mechanics, beautiful pixel art aesthetic and lovely music will make this game for an awesome weekend afternoon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't recommend this game. Even though I really want to. I played the developers original game Dwarf Tower, which whilst it has its issues ( weak AI mostly ), is a gem of a little turn based tile laying game. This game has built on the same aesthetic but created an entirely different kind of a game. It's prettier. More complicated. But definitely not better. The game is a bit of a mash between game types, something of a deck builder and deck management game, and something of a realtime builder…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate to add to the negative reviews, because the game certainly has it's charm. But it's been pointed out that there are basic gameplay flaws that haven't gotten addressed yet. Too janky for me to keep playing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like quirky and charming indie games, especially of the deckbuilding/tableu-building variety, this is definitely a game to check out! I've had a blast so far, and am looking forward to completing the game. It's something of a puzzle basebuilder board game, but without a turn-based aspect, and it does that well. Early RNG in a level can render it extremely difficult to beat if you get even a little unlucky, however, so perfectionists and easy-ragequitters beware! Between missions…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good game to be played. Alongside the gameplay, I really enjoyed the whole content, including artstyle and soundtrack
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually really like this game, and I'm not gonna ask for a refund. But it needs to improve before I'd recommend it to anyone else. I have had the game crash on me multiple times in a day. Also you need a native english speaker to go through all your scripts - I love the humour but I could tell quite a few translation errors. Outside of the crashing, there are also some quality of life issues that should be addressed. I love that the game is non-linear, but there needs to be a quicker…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of this game is very cute and fun, but the actual gameplay needs a lot of improvement. The card choices and variety need a lot of work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is likely to be one of the best hidden gems i found in a while. The game will keep you entertained for quite some time. Among other things, like detailed pixel graphics and great sound, its not that hard to get into
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thumbs down. It's unfortunate because I really did enjoy this game. It's clever and original in... well, these days that's a huge deal. But it's also horribly optimized (train levels), designed for experts/requires a walkthrough (three tower mission), and is almost entirely RNG dependent (again, train levels). Here's an example: I get on the train. The train cannot build south or east. I am handed a SE block, and a block that goes down for my two options. No other choice but to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, what an absolutely wonderful example of terrible UI. Great characters and art, seems to be some fun gameplay ideas, cute story, but hard to play, and the screen goes dark all the time for no good reason.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →soso puzzle/building game with poor deckbuilding and UI problems. good for 15 hours or so.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pro: - Nice art style - Good music - Nice base concept behind the game Con: - RNG messes up too much of your chances. - Controls feel clunky, does not feel intuitive to me. - Too much walking in the city in between matches. Need to walk the same stretch of town over and over without there being any significant exploring, feels like a chore to do. Currently the cons outweigh the pros clearly for me. Game does have potential to be fixed in the future if they dare to change it up more than just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Base/deck building + unique + mechanics = A delightful building experience with dwarves and gnomes. Expand rooms, craft cards, put out fires, get rid of monsters and more. F key is your friend. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/] Follow our curator for similar games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just wanted to check the game out real quick and just found out i've been playing it for 2 hours straight. No regrets tho
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Non-trivial base builder about creating towers and completing tasks, based on a card system. Unusual idea, I like how developers did it. Sometimes there is a lot of text, but it's not critical for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only played in Goblin World when demo was available, but now I am in Shadow world, where the gameplay changed a lot. You have to summon vampire dwarves instead of common ones, or place torches in rooms to light them up. And I think it's cool. I like how game changes and throws you into new conditions, can't wait to see other worlds, mechanics, monsters, bosses. As I saw in trailer there are 5 worlds, so 3 to go.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a horrible bug where the mouse icon isn't showing on the title screen, and the fact game pad and keyboard didn't navigate the options, I had to move my mouse around until the words highlighted. I was able to start a game, but the same thing there. No mouse icon, so playing the game was frustrating and nearly impossible. Not to mention this game lacks support, and the devs don't appear to try/care. I joined their Discord, with a VERY small following, and nobody addressed my…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first glance, an interesting multifaceted strategy with construction, pixel graphics look nice, music gives the right magical atmosphere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot recommend this game currently. This is mainly due to the issue of clicks not registering. I have had this happen more than a few times already where clicking has just caused the character to stay in place or get stuck in a door way or ladder.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The randomness of the game just makes it too frustrating to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It wants to present itself like a deckbuilder meets strategy, but it fails at both. The decks are weirdly shallow and what you draw is based on a chain of getting the right cards to unlock the next steps in the deck, while it refuses to unlock important cards for way beyond when you should get them. I've been through several stages with enemies and no magic attacks, no swords to equip, and enemies running around killing everyone in my dinky castle. It's just badly made.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely love pixel art, which is one of the major pros of this game, very clean and coherent style across the board. The gameplay is not your usual base builder, but the card-based mechanics brings a nice pinch of RNG into it to spice things up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very exciting game, an interesting idea, I recommend to all fans of 2D!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the humor of the game, so many jokes and sudden references. Funny tag comes first, I can't argue with that XD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →283mb install size. "ESC button now cancels all actions in the game" from Jan 16 2023 update notes is a lie. Could not cancel a miss click of building in the tutorial, while the raven tells me something about cards with no instruction on what to actually do. Game is kinda fun, though you may spam restart a level to get the 1 card you need to start with to win. Less is more. Smallest deck to win the objective is the best. No 'grind' or way to advance or power-up for a level. You can replay maps…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great addictive gameplay in the form of building a base, but with the cards mechanics. I really liked the dialogues in the game, there are a lot of jokes and twists. Graphics with music leaves pleasant vibes from the game. Obviously I recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just came to say that the idea of the dwarves building towers to the top is crazy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gema is generaly cozy and captivating IMHO. Especially i enhoy the pixel art lvl. Only thing cards design might use some tuneing. So far so good. Aditional <3 for mage derpy face
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have given this game a FAIR chance but the longer I play, the closer I am to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ANEURYSM because even with most optimal strategy gives you a CHANCE that you win. That if you even manage to IMPLEMENT that strategy because if you displeased RNGisus even a little bit your tower simply implode on itself! Especially in train levels - there is no basement, so you are even more of RNG’s little helpless tiny ♥♥♥♥♥ because you can't even build a workshop or a forge lower, so you will NEWER have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like fantasy, dwarves, steampunk, jokes and hidden cultural references - this one is worth to try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a complex game, but it is exactly why its interesting. You have deep combinational game mechanics and endless stream of tactical problems coming at you. Good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game sucks blue balls
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really tried to like this, but I can't. The writing is a seriously weak attempt at storytelling and grammar.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dwarven Skykeep is already a game I recommend after playing for a few hours. - Beautiful pixel art - A challenging and rewarding gameplay experience - The story is fun and funny, but you don't have to read everything to enjoy the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very unusual game in the adventure genre. Something similar to Terraria with quests. I have never seen such a game. I think the game is not for one hour for me. Pulled in from the first minute.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OMG, how much beer do dwarves drink here?! >=)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really picks up after the first few levels once you start getting the artefacts that give you specific cards in your starting hand. The gameplay, story and writing steadily improve as you get into it. I will admit it has some design issues but it's charming and I definitely don't regret buying it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this game. But multiple bugs in the tutorial and a bunch of early mission where you have no offensive abilities do not incline toward fun, IMO, even if it is occasionally funny.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Woah! This cozy game is unexpectedly interesting! I'm in love with art style btw
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice and cute, story-puzzle adventure! Looking forward to play more!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An amusing game, cute humor, a delightful fairytale world. It's quite an unusual blend of card mechanics, time management, building, and tower defense. I won't say that I'm a huge fan of pixel art, but this game has very pleasant artwork. And the music is darn good! A pleasant game to unwind in the evening and escape into a charming fairytale world. I recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An unusual, yet interesting game with lovely music and a rather endearing setting. I wish I was one of the dwarves in this game, so I could endlessly chug beer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game that needs a lot more work. Would refund if I still could. Right now the base idea is interesting, the execution is poor and thus the game is boring and a chore.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EDIT: Plenty of reviews mention how the rng is broken n stuff but honestly I love this game. If you have some patience and understanding for some finnicky mechanics please just give the game a shot. I feel the love here and I had a blast. You just have to keep that restart button ready early in levels just incase you can't get things rolling but it really isn't a big deal. This game has so much to offer and people just gave up right away. It only gets easier to work with and more awesome to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What kind of game dev doesn't add an option for for propper resolution setting in 2020's? It's ether 4:3 in a smal windowed mode or the current windows resolution, and if you have a resolution larger than 720p or 1080p then be prepared to squint yourself silly. In other words it's ether to small windowed mode or to small ui and sprites in fullscreen. No, this is not a 20 euro game, it's a 2 euro game and then only buy it when theres 95% off on those 2 euros.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't bring myself to give the game more than 20 minutes after becoming flustered with the controls and tutorials. It may seem unfair to base my review on that much play, but I"m just uninstalling and never playing against because of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bit of a mess, hitboxes are very small, controls are awkward and uncomfortable, Text has many spelling and grammatical errors. Still very fun game gameplay wise.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/x1xvjn7Q1Ck Self proclaimed to be a 'hard' game, much of the challenge is based on raw luck for drawing required elements to even attack back at all forcing too many runs into soft failure from the start.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice and cozy game! A little bit expensive, so I suggest wait for a discount. But otherwise, it's great! I love its pixel art and funny little animations :3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Endearing art style and characters. The game is quite challenging and surprisingly unforgiving which keeps you on your toes. I can see how this can appeal to a bit more hardcore players.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, but hard to understand the way it works. Tutorial is really long to play. But once you got it, it click with you - and immediately things get interesting
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have just past tutorial, and already in love with the atmosphere. Writing is great, fun and engaging. Pixel art is amazing. Music envelopes you with the mood. I recommend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would recomend this game for players who seek to try something new. Graphix are good. I love color scheme and aestetic of magic setting. Sometimes controls need more attention then in usual games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very clever and fun game! I started playing and before the tutorial was over I was already hooked. Great pixel art, great sound design and music, hilarious voice acting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game concept with potential, but it could benefit from some additional polishing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dwarves, beer, magic towers, and beautiful pixel art graphics. What's not to like?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS AWESOME! 11 OF 10 DRUNKEN DWARVES!
