At the end of the day I'm just some dude that makes cars go sideways this just isn't for me I guess
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this one, I was looking for a CarX alternative and I thought the car building looked great. Unfortunately the wheel support and force feedback is absolutely dreadful. I tried a bunch of settings on my T300rs GT, and it was completely unusable (and they recommend viewing a discussion thread for best settings, which I did). If you think you'll be playing on keyboard or controller, then maybe give it a go. If you're thinking of using a wheel, this ain't it chief.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR -> Devs seem to have abandoned the game, and it has not even close to "arcade" physics. Do not recommend. When I originally bought this game labeled "DRIFT 21", and when I originally bought it I don't know why I didn't refund it. This game was good for a bit. But then I decided to revisit the game after not playing for a while, seeing it was changed 'DRIFT CE', with the game not even physically changed with just a few cosmetic changes, it is pretty apparent this game was a side project…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly I have been drifting and sim drifting for a long time and never have I felt a game so horrible. The drifting mechanics are slow and heavy, no snappy response, it feels more like an arcade. Not to mention I "Failed clipping zones" Before I even made it out of the zone. I have also never been in a car that is upset and straightens after a "Bumper tap". Watching back on my replays I have never seen harder transitions, some of them are ridiculous. This needs a lot of reworks especially…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tyre Model and Physics are just not consistent with the threshold of grip and weight balance of cars. I know its a "drift" style game thats kinda arcade feeling but if you have any experience with real-life drifting or sim racing in general, youll likely be unimpressed with the game. However, the car upgrade process is cool.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is legit horrible wheel physics suck only half way decent part is making your car and then they have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ audacity to release paid dlcs?????
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEVER UPDATES OR PUTS ANY EFFORT INTO APPROVING PHYSICS FOR THE SH**** DRIVING, COOL CONCEPT IF A TWO YEAR OLD MADE A GAME ONLY FOR PROFIT.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →poor drift phyics and gameplay, really enjoyed the car building
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →absolute crap physics when you are investing time and money to develop games develop something good
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →dead game no updates play weird and physics are dogwater
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Building your car is awesome, but once you start drifting it you quickly discover the physics feel awful.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looks fun at first but it's a bit dull. Physics feel mid the career mode is a bit short and boring. Cars feel urealistic. Go for it if you're a diehard drift maniac but don't expect much. I recommend buying CARX Drift or CARX Street, much more freedom and they have larger car pool... also they're cheaper and on sale 99% of the time. 5/10 just mid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game entices you with the "freedom" of getting to make your own cool drift car, only to hit you in the face with how limited the mods are. The physics are sad, I don't know if this game tried to rip off assetto corsa and failed miserably or what, but it's not even worth trying to drive in this game. I've been bored the entirety of my playthrough. I don't recommend this game not even a little, an absolute waste of money and time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had so much potential, and I stuck with it for a while. Unfortunately the devs dont seem to listen. We wanted more cars, improved physics, a better MP system. Now we get paid DLC cars that should come standard in a drift sim game. Big flop
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Drift CE is basically “Car Guy Dark Souls.” You spend hours tweaking suspension, gearing, and tires… only to spin out on the very first corner like you’ve never touched a steering wheel in your life. But when it finally clicks? When you link a perfect drift? It feels like you just unlocked the meaning of life. Bonus points: in this game, smoking tires only costs in-game credits — not your actual bank account or your neighbors’ sanity. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a pro drifter but your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, its a cool concept but the driving physics are somehow worse than need for speed... This game supposed to be a simulator, at least that was what it was touted as when it first released and i bought it. Its been nearly 4 years and very little about the game has changed best i can tell, oh but they have dlc lmao. for a game with n64 driving physics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fix your mf'in physics and add Steam Workshop so we can have mods.. ALSO TIME TO PUT SOME NEW CARS INTO THIS DEAD GAME
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the sound design is so bad. it sounds like an old flash game off miniclip.com
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i just play sandbox mode and build the engines
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could have been a great game if the devs gave it more attention instead of abandoning it... The physics arent the greatest, the games a bit confusing doesnt have a tutorial for anything, its been out for over 2 years and received little to no content in that time, so i wouldnt waste your money even for half off... for now your better off playing CarX Drifting, Torque Drift 1 or 2, Assetto Corsa, BeamNG.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →holy crap this was just a click engine sim and then bad drifting wtf was even this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whether a racing game has sim physics, arcade physics or a hybrid model, the handling's at least gotta be consistent and understandable. This game's handling model is just mushy blegh, and makes no sense. For example, you'd think drifting around a corner while on too-high a gear would accidentally kill your drift (due to not having enough torque to cause your tyres to skip over the pavement, thus causing lose-of-traction and rear-end swing). Nope! You just keep drifting. And it turns out going…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game fell on its face, all the people wanted was more cars, and better physics. what did the devs do? give us cars we had to pay for and do absolutely nothing with the physics. at first it was cool to have mechanic sim mixed with drifting, but when the devs dont listen to the people, we move on, sucks cus this game had so much potential too., R.I.P.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible physics, 0/10 just buy carx drift instead- I feel robbed even though I got the game for $1
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall it's a cool mashup of a drift game, and a car mechanic simulator... without the tedious car building mechanics like screwing in every bolt. Not for everyone, but I appreciate that I can feel like I'm building the car myself. Biggest complaint from the building side is there aren't a ton of cars to choose from. As for the driving, it's no Assetto Corsa, but the physics are still much better than arcade. I was unfortunate enough to start playing right after an update the broke feedback,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good idea just not pulled off very well, building your drift missile Mechanic Simulator style is a great touch, but the driving feels really rough, with a lot to be desired in the track selection.. I would avoid this unless you get it on sale, even then there are better games for free these days... It was an interesting time with this game, but below par IMO. 4/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i would not recomend this game the drifting is weirdly off balance and i wont be playing this game that much anymore. i wanted to have a drifting game that i can also play with on my steering wheel and i dont know if its just me but it wont let me connect it and use it i want my money back.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i suck at this, i can drift in multiple racing games but this not somehow but nice game tho something new for me you have to take apart your car parts and put them back together yourself in a garage instead of just buying it and its instantly in your car like every other racing game edit: after playing some more im getting the hang of it :P but still suck XD like im able to get silver and some gold also which in first just couldnt and was basically only woking on the cars lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the game for a few minutes and put it down after that, honestly after 2000 hours in Forza motorsport titles across like 4 or 5 games the driving physics in this game needs an update. I seen a review that said the guy has had this for 4 years with no change to the game but you've added dlc? All I can say is I'm glad I got this for free through a friends code. Game has great potential but the actual driving aspect of the game is not good. It's fun for a kids first driving game but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can get the game for cheap it’s an all around good game, the engine building is great, drifting at first doesn’t feel the best but once you understand the mechanics it’s not bad. Just needs more cars and engines but solid game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just play Carx drift racing or get a key from Fanatical for $4
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please, fix the physics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having the RX-8 in this game is the only reason I purchased it. Fun game game though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For now its fun to play, but building mechanic can get boring very fast because you use it only once when building car and thats it. If game had wear / damage model ( mechanical ), it could be used more to fix and maintain car, changing tires when they wear out etc. Also it needs inventory menu or something for parts that gets removed from car, and some kind of movable tools/part storage utility cart that can be used to put removed parts on instead of floor. And it needs mod support. All in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →feels like im driving on ice lmao mechanic gimmick was the only upside honestly, devs seem like they've never driven a car before.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DRIFT C.E. is a motorsport simulation built specifically for players who appreciate the discipline and technique behind drifting rather than conventional racing. Developed by ECC Games and published by 505 Games, the title embraces the culture of sideways driving by focusing on vehicle control, mechanical tuning, and gradual mastery of advanced drift techniques. Instead of presenting drifting as a simple arcade mechanic, the game treats it as a skill that must be learned through dedication,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it runs great on the deck so far i like the shop and working on the car is cool
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is very bad drifting skills promoted in game. NO 4 wheel drifting or dynamic drifting is allowed or capable in this game. if you think this game can be used as a teaching ad, think again. it will not teach you anything of car controll or drifting pratice on a sim rig. this game is fudermetaly wrong in and about drifting as a sport. as for the mechanic sim that side for the game is had to navigate and use with desktop setup. hope this helps developers with this game and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Drifting physics are janky, Cash grab 100%. Unbolting parts and such when it comes down to modifying cars is complete trash. Might as well just play mechanic simulator, Driving physics are about the same. Garbage
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i wish i didnt buy this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting original idea, many tracks and cars. Handling is a bit weird for me though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Physics are absolute (‿ˠ‿)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The physics are ridiculously terrible
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →is a combination of car mechanic simulator, carx and assetto corsa and i love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →car go…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game for around £1 and I still feel like that was too much. Less than 50% of those who have this game have completed the tutorial... if that doesn't tell you about the quality of this game then I don't know what else does. It's possible that I simply haven't spent enough time on this game to properly get used to the mechanics but it's difficult to enjoy yourself for more than 10 seconds because it constantly feels like you're drifting across an ice rink, not a road. - The game was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The garage part of gameplay is decent, the driving and drifting itself is not that good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an in depth drifting and drifting themed auto mechanics simulator that runs with the best of em in terms of graphics quality and authentic detail but i just wished there was more in the sense of racing. how ever it is a simulator and not a game so bare that in mind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is still awesome, but I had a power cut once and lost all my save progress. Even though I was progressing slowly, losing 24 hours of gameplay is a lot in a game like this. The cars are still great, and I personally love the RX-7 with a quad-rotor engine. I still recommend the game, but it seems to have a common issue with corrupted saves, which can be a problem if you're aiming for all the achievements, since it takes a lot of time to complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly I have been drifting and sim drifting for a long time and never have I felt a game so horrible. The drifting mechanics are slow, mushy and heavy, no snappy response.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spent more time assembling the car then actually using it. Cant reach most of the parts on the Mustangs either. 2/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →about £1 on cdkeys right now. Worth it for that for sure! Physics are a bit odd in some cars but the modification and tuning is very cool. Probs wouldn't pay full price but discounted its a great way to ease the Assetto Corsa burnout i sometimes experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game has is all looks amazing runs really good, sounds are top notch but the driving is cancerous hard to control smoothly and the garage is to tedious and a pain in the backside. wouldn't recommend. couldnt do more than 20min.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally after putting over 20 hours into this i'm in love. I was looking for a good drift sim outside playing Assetto Corsa (Love the game). Engine building and customization is fun, in career nothing is overly expensive and all cars are only 10k so easy to stack up on cars and the challenges helped me become a better sim drifter (still thousands of hours of driving time still needed LoL) I use a Hori Apex so while no feedback def helps with muscle memory and keeping the car in good drift…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't give it a lot of time, but it comes off like it's a budget game from like 2001. - I'm impressed with the level of customization, though it's overwhelming and just too much (I just wanted to drive and I'm not necessarily a car-person), but the driving is impossible and it also looks and sound downright ugly. - I mean, can ya add some anti-aliasing and better blending?... Also don't make it sound like left and right sounds are isolated from each other. Cause the engine will just be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You wanted need for speed you had need for speed , you were deceived now you got DRIFT CE and that is way more awesome all around customisation tunning experience fantastic cars upgradable paintable vinyls like way better than in any need for speed games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →dift car go brrr
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is good but there is something missing and it is subaru impreza bugeye
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game! Like the build aspect and satisfying to slide the cars when you're finished!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →IT IS RILLY HARD TO DRIFT
