60 of 178 · most liked firstI prefer not knowing anything beyond the title, poster, and rating of a movie before going to see it. I went and saw The Wild Robot over the weekend without knowing a single thing about it and ended up enjoying the movie a lot. I truly think part of that was not knowing anything about the movie except seeing the poster, knowing the title, seeing the rating, and knowing it was for kids and was animated (which was evident by the poster and rating). Beyond that, I was clueless. I didn’t even know…
neutral · AI labelView post →The problem isnt THE MOVIE. I took my 5yo to see Dogman and got McDonalds afterwards and spent $100.
neutral · AI labelView post →A collection of Dog Man drawings, this movie is very cute and fun! 🐶🐱 #DogMan #DogManMovie (1/2)
positive · AI labelView post →Just got back from seeing #DogMan, and holy cow, this was one of the most entertaining films I've seen so far. The fact this film so self-aware about how immature it is really plays into its entertainment value. I think I might like this more than the Captain Underpants film.
positive · AI labelView post →I don't get the complaints behind the designs for the upcoming Bluey film. They look like their 2D designs, just translated to 3D. Should the animation have been more Peanuts/Captain Underpants/Dogman-ish? Sure! But it looks like a cute, serviceable film families are gonna have a blast with.
neutral · AI labelView post →No, even being a kids movie couldn't save this pile of crap. Even the crappiest kids movies have some heart. Like *Dogman* was legitimately fucking stupid, but it had *heart* to it, I cared about the characters despite how stupid it all was. *A Minecraft Movie* fails in every measure to have characters you care about at all. I feel nothing for these idiotic jabronis breezing through the film, the writing and acting is legitimately that bad.
neutral · AI labelView post →My ad was about watching DogMan on Peacock I'm tired
neutral · AI labelView post →Drew a Dogman fanart because I decided to watch this film again. Thankfully my local libray has a copy and I really enjoyed watching this in theaters back in Febuary. I haven’t read the books since this series came out in my teens, but I think he’s cute. :) #dogman
positive · AI labelView post →I know I'm late but I was in no way prepared for Dogman to literally be half dog, half man, and for the film to be this funny
positive · AI labelView post →So I watched the DogMan movie recently. Really fun flick! Very adorable with good animation! Also gave me a new ship: (art by @pangomangobeyond.bsky.social)
positive · AI labelView post →I have two books out that you might like! ...And Out Come the Toys is a punk grindhouse take on Willy Wonka. The Dogmen Fudge Incident is like an action movie but with the Dogman and squirt guns full of chocolate! It'd be rad if you checked them out! Links below, or DM for a signed copy.

neutral · AI labelView post →Dug is my godfather so I grew up on a steady diet of this band, up through Ear Candy. Though they were one of my favorite bands, I haven’t listened to them in years, other than occasional Dogman. When I started building a record collection, nostalgia was a big factor, so I resolved to make sure these albums which were so formative to me a part of my collection. The biggest surprise re-acquainting myself with the music is, not only is it as fucking great as I remember, there’s so much more…
neutral · AI labelView post →Was Dogman good for a 5 year old? I'm worried from the previews that it was just a lot of action chase scenes.
neutral · AI labelView post →After the success of Dog man, imagine if the other treehouse comics got their own movie adaptations. #Fanart #Movieposter #Captainunderpants #Dogman #Scholastic #Davpilkey

To me, when it comes to Cryptids it is like Christian Bale said about Batman on the MTV Movie Awards years ago. Dogman is the real Bad Ass
neutral · AI labelView post →This is one of my favorite charts to make each year: coding films by whether they had action set pieces in them or not (even if the film isn’t an “action film” per se, like, say, The Minecraft Movie or Dogman). And yeah, audiences clearly looooooooove films with action.
neutral · AI labelView post →finally seein the #dogman movie we love it so far
positive · AI labelView post →#justwatched Dracula-A love tale. Loved Landry Jones in Dogman, Waltz in everything. Besson, a favourite director. This version of Dracula truly appalling (imo). Landry Jones fails to save the film. Waltz just gave up. #filmsky CGI Gargoyles, a new low & to credit Bram Stoker, taking the p1$$.

neutral · AI labelView post →I’m kind of glad #Dogman is a simple kid’s story and film that doesn’t dwell into the very disturbing fact that Dogman himself is a Frankenstein amalgamation 😱 But the fandom has already tackled that scenario and I don’t want to feel sad 😆
