Dog Man
When a faithful police dog and his human police officer owner are injured together on the job, a harebrained but life-saving surgery fuses the two of them together and Dog Man is born. Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve—and fetch, sit and roll over. As Dog Man embraces his new identity and strives to impress his Chief, he must stop the pretty evil plots of feline supervillain Petey the Cat. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →With Dog Man coming out in the next few days, I figured I'd share some concept art from Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie by Christopher Zibach. Some really great art that really captures Pilkey's style.
unlabelledView post →Just saw the commercial trailer for the upcoming new Dog Man movie, and somehow my mind has got me thinking into doing this. A surprise pic for @billbeagle.bsky.social in the style of Dog Man!
unlabelledView post →My 11yo son said he was disappointed in the Dog Man movie because “they missed a chance to add more to the characters and, there were only five fart jokes.”
unlabelledView post →Dog Man was really cute, and I haven't seen anyone talk about that Bad Guys short(?) that plays before the film... at least I don't think that was a trailer??
unlabelledView post →Sir, there are families in this movie theater who paid good money to see Dog Man. If you don't put your pants back on and stop screaming, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave.
unlabelledView post →We're taking my son to see his first movie today. He loves Dog Man so we think he'll sit through it as long as the sound doesn't overwhelm him with his autism and all.
unlabelledView post →Everyone’s favorite film critic (my nine year old daughter) is back with some surprisingly deep thoughts about the ‘Dog Man’ movie. (And, yes, she also roasts me because it wouldn’t be a conversation with my daughter without her thinking I’m an idiot at least once.)

unlabelledView post →The latest from DreamWorks just dropped that's another adaptation of a Dav Pilkey book, this time focusing on a cop with the head of a dog. Just like Captain Underpants, it's very silly but a really fun film to watch. Anyway, here's my review of Dog Man.

unlabelledView post →>make a Captain Underpants movie >call it the “first” movie, implying there will be more >makes a lot of money >does well with critics >never make a sequel no hate against the Dog Man movie bc they ARE in the same universe and im sure its amazing, but its been almost 10 years man
unlabelledView post →He also took them to the Dog Man movie so I am running behind here, it's gonna be my turn for a movie that makes me want to jam ice picks into my eyeballs next.
unlabelledView post →Just found out there's going to be a Dog Man movie, which is either going to boost my sales of Dog Man books, or kill them entirely. Hoo boy.
unlabelledView post →I watched Dog Man! It's really cute and the visuals are fun, though I think it tried to cram way too much into one movie.

unlabelledView post →You know what bothers me about the Bluey movie situation? The Peanuts Movie had the same 3D treatment. And so did Captain Underpants and Dog Man. Nobody complained about those movies. So why are we complaining now?
unlabelledView post →Hello, my friends, here's some recent work that I have been putting in for my fan poster for a film version of Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot! Since Captain Underpants and Dog Man got their own respective movies, it only tracks that another Dav Pilkey creation gets a chance.
unlabelledView post →I noticed my Dog Man review's been getting a little more dislikes than usual, or at least enough to influence the ratio a bit. Did I say an unpopular take about Dog Man or do they think Captain Underpants is a weaker film? I'm honestly confused as to what I did to upset people with that video.

unlabelledView post →Dog Man was a draining film to watch. Exhausted by kids films that try to make scenes fast enough to be clips on Tik Tok. In b4 "you're not the target demographic," no, I'm not, but this kind of pacing reinforces the literal brain rot (look it up) that gen alpha is experiencing right now.

unlabelledView post →While all the hate is stupid, one thing I like about how the movie looks is how perfectly they translated the show’s artstyle into a 3D space The only other movies that have done that well (At least in my opinion) are Captain Underpants & Dog Man by Dreamworks and Blue Sky’s Peanuts movie

unlabelledView post →the Dog Man movie did something to my brain, I went in expecting a cute movie about a frankenstein dog, and got clotheslined by a movie about single parenthood, co-parenting, and realizing that you don't have to turn into your jerk dad. Then I read the comics, and got clotheslined even more! #art
unlabelledView post →Very cute movie. I'm a bit partial towards Dreamworks' Captain Underpants film as I grew up with the books, but I enjoyed Dog Man for a similar sense of humor, surprising amount of heartfelt moments, and the fact that it was literally about dogs and cats.
