unlabelledView post →Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is my favorite game of 2024 and I'm absolutely shocked by this. The Forgotten City with Machine Games storytelling. Sometimes Dishonored, often Hitman. But really, a whole new blend of first person experience.
unlabelledView post →Flawless Masterpiece Over the years, we have seen many iconic examples of the stealth and immersive sim genres; however, Dishonored demonstrates what makes it different right from the very first mission through its level design and the freedom it gives us. Standing out since its release, Dishonored offers a timeless design that creates a massive playground rather than simply presenting a series of levels. With its unique world, gameplay depth, and a design that fully respects our choices,…

A bite-sized game (one big mission, three smaller ones) but designed to be replayed a LOT. The maps are dense and intricate.

unlabelledView post →Probably the best game ever made. Of all time. Or at least in the top 10000s. Probably. Dishonored is a game where you play the game using controller, or perhaps a keyboard. You play as Corvo, royal protector guy turned assassin after the assassination of the empress (which you, Corvo, has been framed for). There is also a plauge going on. Forces unknown that become known takes notice of Corvo's predicament, and gifts him with dark powers that lets him teleport, stop time, and aim bot. Among…

unlabelledView post →I think I’m gonna spend most of today in Night City. I would like to finish this game but I say that about all the games. Last night I had a sudden urge to replay Dishonored so that might happen.
unlabelledView post →This is definitely a game made in 2012 because the option to Watergate-style Blackmail a politician with secret tapes confessing to actively attempt mass deaths of "poor, sick, and the lessers of society" will lead to said politician being executed (coincidentally the non-lethal option). Imagine the paradise we could be living in if we held ourselves to the same standard.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back in the early 2010s when Dishonored first came out I didn't get the chance to experience it only heard from other people how it is a must play. Fast forward to 2026 and I finally got the chance to play the game myself. Initially I wasn't that impressed because the events progressed so quickly, I won't spoil the game but lets just say things went south really fast. I thought it would be just an average experience but boy was I wrong. Turns out that was just the setup and you're only getting…

unlabelledView post →A masterpiece. Not much I can say about this game 14 years later, only that it still holds up in level design, freedom of gameplay for how to tackle the missions and, mostly, atmosphere. Coming from the big heigh of steampunk, few pieces of media did it as good as Dishonored. If you haven't yet, just get this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, the game is definitely fun, but it's incredibly obnoxious that if you want to play through the good path of the game, you effectively get no new tools throughout the entire game. All of the fun techniques are reserved for evil playthroughs, which is a damn shame I think the game plays significantly better when combat isn't the player's primary focus and skill system should have rewarded that

unlabelledView post →“Some games let you play. Others let you decide who you are — or who you become when the plan falls apart.” I always start Dishonored the same way: quiet steps, clean intentions, no chaos, no bodies. A perfect ghost slipping through Dunwall. But this game doesn’t care about the stories you tell yourself — it just watches what happens when the mask slips. One guard turns a corner. One reflex fires before thought catches up. One body drops, and suddenly the line between restraint and efficiency…

unlabelledView post →Dishonored is a rare gem that treats players like intelligent, creative individuals capable of crafting their own stories within a meticulously designed world. You play as Corvo Attano, a wrongly accused bodyguard navigating the plague ridden city of Dunwall. What makes this game transcendent is the unprecedented freedom in how you approach every situation. The game gives you supernatural abilities like Blink, Possession, and Bend Time, then steps back and lets you experiment. Want to ghost…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No other game can truly replicate Dishonored's atmosphere. A whaling harbor city, architecturally and culturally similar to 19th century England, under martial law. Plague, religious zealotry, supernatural influence, the stark contrast between the quarantined poor and the lavish nobility. 10/10 game, will forever be one of my favorites
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What started as "I'll give this a try" slowly turned into more than 140 hours of exploring Dunwall, replaying missions, hunting every achievement, collecting every rune, bone charm, blueprint, and Sokolov painting, and finding paths I somehow missed even after multiple playthroughs. Corvo became one of my favorite protagonists because the game lets your actions define who he is. Whether you choose to be a silent ghost or a ruthless assassin, the world responds to your decisions. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the very few games I can consider a straight 10/10, while having 10/10 DLC on top of it. It's incredible how good it is, and it's thanks to Dishonored if the immersive sim genre is still alive in the first place.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9.0 /10 I beat this game in 2012 on my xbox, and then I saw they had this definitive edition on sale for $6 the other day. I installed it and a couple of mods for textures, and Immediately I was reminded how good this game is. Honestly folks they don't make good games like this anymore. I highly recommend this edition especially at that price! Looks fantastic, plays fantatstic, and it's an immersive tale that will keep you invested for quite a few hours. And when you are done, you can…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was framed for murdering the head of state, betrayed by basically everyone I trusted, and given a magic tattoo by a mysterious void deity with a punchable smirk. Naturally, my first move was to spend three hours in a single mission not killing anyone, hiding in a chandelier, and possessing a rat just to see if I could. I could. I did. I have never felt more powerful in my life. This is a game that hands you the tools to become an unstoppable supernatural assassin capable of stopping time,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a 10/10. I genuinely don’t know how I slept on it for 14 years. It does exactly what it sets out to do, and it does it flawlessly. No filler, no wasted moments. Just tight, focused design from start to finish. If you’re on the fence: picking up the base game for around €2.50 on sale is an absolute steal. You can't go wrong at that price, it's a no-brainer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In an era where almost every game is trying to chase “bigger worlds,” “more content,” and “better graphics,” Dishonored remains a masterpiece that still feels nearly impossible to surpass. Because what makes it truly special was never just the gameplay itself. It’s the fact that the game makes you feel that your choices genuinely carry weight. This becomes especially clear during a low-chaos playthrough. You can slaughter everyone in your path, or move through the world like a ghost without…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I tried Dishonored 2 I questioned whether or not I still liked stealth games. Going back to Thief, I definitely do. A lot. And TDP isn't even one of my favorites. It just seems like nearly every attempt at a full-on stealth game (few as there are) has been kinda shit once 7th gen rolled around.
unlabelledView post →Multiple choices. Multiple endings. And not actually hard. Solid stealth game. Rating: 8.5/10 I went in knowing nothing about Dishonored. I made wrong assumption and thought this game would be hard and janky lol. Didn't understood the hype but now I can see why this game is loved so much. I like it too. Story takes place when a rat plague hits the empire (similar to A Plague Tale game series). Even more unfortunate event happens and the story follows. Story material is good, features basic…

unlabelledView post →Just 100%. I loved the story and the 2 story based DLC. The paths and the 2 ways to play (low and High Chaos) are really fun but, the Dunwall city trials can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DIE! The challenges are fun but the achievement associated with them are an RNG skill nightmare especially the by my hand alone achievement still gives me nightmares. 10/10 game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 — Blinked into chaos, blinked out of responsibility. Got framed for murder, made friends with a creepy sea god, and now I can stop time to pet rats. Accidentally turned half the city into plague zombies because I couldn’t resist stabbing everyone. Still felt like a hero. Would definitely assassinate again.
