The game has 3 levels, each playable on 3 difficulties, and you gain experience to level up to unlock better minions and defenses to summon, the idea is fantastic, the gameplay feels great, but theres just not enough there to justify buying this title. If you can get it in a bundle for $1-3 go for it, but don't purchase it until It's out of early access or you've…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far the game seems to be early access abandonware. Many of the levels are unplayable, no updates since march, which was right after release. Hope for more updates in the future, but until then don't waste your money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun idea. Abandonware.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandoned by developers and miles away from being finished. It's only a little tech demo with almost nothing to do.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun and charming Tower Defense type game. It has three dungeon maps with three difficulty settings. I could defeat the maps on easy and medium, but hard was very difficult. The price is steep for what you get, but if they add more content it will be a good deal. The graphics are very good, and the characters are adorable. The controls are easy to use, and the overall game experience is smooth and bug free for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fairly alright game from a tech standpoint - the controls are nice, and it's fun to see what could potentially be a Dungeon Keeper-esque game in VR. However, for now it's got about 1 hour of gameplay in it as a pretty run-of-the-mill tower defense. The only really innovative element is the VR perspective - the actual gameplay is very simple and offers little in terms of either replay value, storyline, or moments that make you go "wow". If you have the opportunity to pick this up on the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Similarly to their Townsmen game, don't make the mistake of passing on this pretty unique VR entry. The game is short, but quite a polished spin on your typical tower defense game. Granted, I'm not sure there's anything essentially unique about the gameplay itself, except the VR interface is really well done and there's nothing like watching tiny goblins and knights fighting in front of you like a bunch of miniature toys.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the second game I've picked up from this developer (the other being the newer Townsmen). In both cases they are early access, have a bunch of comments from people complaining about lack of updates and are limited in scope such that they feel a bit like a demo for a full game, but in both cases what is there is actually really polished and genuinely fun. The art style and graphics are really good and the game does a great job of making you feel like you've been dropped into a crazy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The type of game you dreamed of playing when you were a kid, having control of your own little goblin army in your own dungeon protecting it from the hordes of evil with a series of defenses and minions to do your bidding. Gameplay: Great tower defense game set in a dungeon with excellent graphics and artwork, in fact, one of the best VR tower defense games out there right now. Set up your defenses, goblins and defeat the wave, move and place goblins during the battle. Keep your crystal safe…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I play with VR for 2 weeks now. I love Dungeon Keeper and Dungeons III on PC. My first thought was, that these games are the ideal match for VR. Devil and the Fairy is dungeon defense and not a dungeon builder, but it does this perfectly. The ambiance is nice. The amount of detail is very high. The high pitched goblin fairy is sometimes funny and reminds me on Dungeons III humor. I got the game in sale for 2 Euros and its fully worth it. But it is not worth 10 Euros as it just has 3 levels…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, great price, by the developers of the similarly great Townsmen! ^^ Both titles are at the beginning of a 1 year Early Access so it might be a bit soon to review this - but so far it looks and plays great! The voice overs and sound effects and visuals are all fantastic. The visual/audio style is spot on a love letter to the Dungeon Keeper games, but the gameplay itself is more of a traditional Tower Defense wave attack game. Bit of a shame as I was hoping to be able to carve…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great little dungeon defense/godish game where you can spawn creatures and siege engines to defend your dungeon. Since its a VR game you can actually pick up certain items around your dungeon and hurl them at attackers to give your minions extra time to deal enemies or recover. You also destroy dungeons objects such as barrels and spider eggs to get mana and powerups. You can pick up your minions and place them anywhere. The game's difficulty starts off easy and ramps up faster in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very reminiscent of the old game by Bullfrog where you’re the keeper of a dungeon – same art style, types of creatures and traps, similar game play and objectives (albeit simplified here.) Half an hour in, still in the first dungeon, I’m already impressed! Looks like there haven’t been recent updates, which is sad, but I already see that there are several unlockables (traps and creatures) I’ll get by playing more… so I look forward to those. Fun game, well executes, and should…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well produced dungeon defense game, "Dungeon Keeper" style. Good looking graphics, good humor, and a decent gameplay for a really fair price. Two thumbs up!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →VR variation of Tower defence with fine controls and way too much barrel smashing. Also a bit simplistic and more RTS then tower defence at start. Can't recomend it since at the moment it is more like demo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to consider the game fun but there are now other titles which fill the same purpose, and the developers long stopped supporting this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game, brilliant graphics and gameplay, granted not played very much but sometimes you can tell straight away when a games got bags of potential, the dungeon lighting is impressive, can't wait to see what they had to this little gem.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I felt like this game was a pretty good concept. I think it needed a bit more time in the oven to fix some overall game play mechanics, but a fun game. I stopped because of the uneven magic to waves of enemy's. So I didn't get that far, but felt the game could be more fun if it went back in the oven.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea, but after a few times not interesting. Too small content
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really good game, beautiful graphics, sound and controls it just needs some more love from the DEV, I think this would be a hit in mixed reality on the quest store.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wasn't a fan. Smashing things in the dungeon constantly to gain enough power to do things seems dumb to me. And the "hero's" come in constant waves, so there isn't really any time to actually set anything up. Plus I wanted to build the dungeon and it is already prebuilt.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More the merrier
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game looks great for VR BUT 0 development so far and still waiting for more, get it on sale worth a look.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it for $2.beat the first two levels after grinding the first 3x. Fun little game. Kept me well entertained on a rainy Sunday.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2 Minute Video Review → https://youtu.be/peRXy-xq6kk The Devil and the Fairy is a mix of Tower Defense and real time strategy. The story and setting are quite unique. You’re the devil and you need to protect your dungeons from the waves of righteous warriors breaking through. Alongside you is a demonic fairy that wears makeup and dresses. She guides you through the tutorial and announces events throughout the game. The usual tower defense elements are there with setting traps and the like.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game that reminds of "Dungeon Keeper". It takes some time to master fully, sadly for now there are only three dungeon and you can't help but want for more :) There's also a bug: when closing the game from the SteamVR it freezes and sometimes it doesn't save your progress. Anyway a great fun, it is hilarious to throw barrels at the enemies and also moving around the litte helpers is fun. suggested if you like strategy games
