unlabelledView post →May as well post this in honour of the movie’s anniversary, although, this wasn’t actually from the movie itself. Despicable Me 2 having Bob, Stuart and Kevin auditioning for the Minions movie during the credits is fricking genius. 😆
unlabelledView post →You know what's funny, I remember when I was at the cinema as a kid when Despicable Me 2 was screening, I was imagining how cool it would be if there was a Mario Galaxy Movie (I played Galaxy for the first time that year) I think I had a premonition

unlabelledView post →I think it’s a real step in the right direction for Illumination to not only put out an original film, (their first since 2016 not counting Migration), but also experiment by making a more fully romantic film as well other than technically Despicable Me 2. Optimistic about this one.

unlabelledView post →Thinking back to the time when my kids were very small and saw Despicable Me 2 but were convinced it was the first film, and so for months regaled us with details from their favorite movie, Spickle Me Two One.
unlabelledView post →I was watching one of the promotional featurettes for Despicable Me 2 (specifically "Steve Carell Explains 3D Animation"), and then I found this Lucky Block plush on top of one of the Illumination crew members' desktops. I guess they *were* the best studio to handle a Mario movie after all!
unlabelledView post →Time for a movie, and the Eagles game! Today's movie is... Continuing on with this series, loved the first 1. Despicable Me 2, 2013
unlabelledView post →> "It was only until you were out of ideas and you asked yourself a rhetorical question and you came back with a sarcastic answer. And that's what 'Happy' was," Williams said. "How do you make a song about a person that's so happy that nothing can bring them down? And I sarcastically answered it and put music to it, and that sarcasm became the song. And that broke me." Pharrell in an interview. So you're right pretty much. It was created for Despicable Me 2 so the movie folks had veto rights…

unlabelledView post →This movie traumatized me as a kid. I've never actually gotten scared by a horror movie but i had nightmares for MONTHS after watching Despicable Me 2 because the idea of being turned into a monster scared the shit out of me
unlabelledView post →French’s is putting out green mustard (along with a special bottle for the classic yellow) to go along with the new Minions movie. I’ve been sick of the characters since DESPICABLE ME 2, but I’ll get me some bizarrely colored condiments any time.

unlabelledView post →Continuing on, I kinda prefer Despicable Me 2 over the first one. Fixed was actually a funny and somewhat sweet film, you guys were just mean. Teen Titans is okay. Had its moments, but I’m more into Bruce Timm’s DC cartoons. I don’t think Meet the Robinsons is as underrated as others say it is.

unlabelledView post →😂😂😂 After I finish Despicable Me 2 I'll watch the Minions movie.
unlabelledView post →Another notable instance was with Detective Pikachu where some young lads behind me were throwing popcorn and being rather noisy throughout the film. Also, with Despicable Me 2, my theatre had to be evacuated due to a presumed fire in the neighbouring building, if that technically counts.
unlabelledView post →movie round-up: we finished What We Do In The Shadows, & at some point in the near future, we'll watch the TV series. Then we watched Despicable Me 2, Logan Lucky, & Despicable Me 3. We're currently watching Chappie. i'd forgotten how much i enjoy heist movies. Logan Lucky was a pleasant surprise.

unlabelledView post →Okay, I'm quickly recovering from the psychic damage of "when I was a kid" about Despicable Me 2, and I totally get this. The scariest things in movies are things that aren't acknowledged as scary. Like the chipmunk werewolf movie.

unlabelledView post →23. Despicable Me 2 A great follow-up to an already great film, El Macho is the epitome of extra for no reason, the family dynamic of Gru with the kids and Lucy is continued nicely and it got a lot of laughs out of me. Bang up job Nefario, your jelly saved us all

unlabelledView post →121. Despicable Me 2 I like it just a bit more than the first one. Besides the climax maybe being shorter than I'd like, it's still just as funny and well paced as the first movie and Lucy plays off of Gru in a really fun way to keep the antics up. I had a really great time with this one.
unlabelledView post →#thankful2026 Day 86/365: I’m thankful for a family movie night. Watching Despicable Me 2. Gotta love the Minions
unlabelledView post →Lucy Wilde was great! El Macho managed to be an evil deconstruction of Gru's past villainy, Dr. Nefario's arc was great! Despicable Me 2 is a great film and I am tired of lying about it's status cos of fear people will think I am wrong. Despicable Me 2 is Illumination's Toy Story 2!

unlabelledView post →Despicable Me is a pretty good movie. Despicable Me 2 is decent. Despicable Me 3 has its moments. Despicable Me 4 was AWFUL. I hated Minions, tho maybe it deserves a rewatch, could be just me or the time that I saw it. Minions Rise of Gru? So far, pretty good, even with the anachronisms!

unlabelledView post →So, I didn't dislike Megamind. In fact, I liked it more than Despicable Me 2. But SO MUCH of it was riffing on Superman stuff. Now to figure out which unwatched Dreamworks or Illumination film to check out next.
unlabelledView post →Quote with a movie gif from the year you turned 18. Despicable Me 2 was uncontained chaos and I loved it!
unlabelledView post →We do sets and props modeling and simulation too. I made the inflatable castle in Despicable Me 2 for example. We make beds, cushions, ropes, seats etc etc. If it has dynamics on it, it's our job !
unlabelledView post →5. Despicable Me 2: 6/10 I wish I like this movie more, but it was painfully unfunny at many points and I also just found this movie really boring. I could not get invested in the story and El Macho is just fine. I still liked it overall, thanks to still loving Gru and Agnes, and being a bit funny.
unlabelledView post →You're probably fine, I've never been actually scared by a horror movie but Despicable Me 2 genuinely traumatized me
