60 of 90 · most liked firstWhen Diner Dash first released in 2004, it not only became a casual classic but almost single handedly created the time management game sub-genre. Among the copycats that have since began to pop up in endless droves is Dead Hungry Diner, which takes the idea of Diner Dash and seeks to give it a Halloween themed twisted, replacing the customers with hungry monsters and the plates of spaghetti and burgers with brains (well, fruits that looks a good deal like them). This all sounds well in line…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its ambitions may be modest, but there's no doubt that Dead Hungry Diner succeeds in delivering an intelligent and entertaining experience that's worth of your attention.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weak port of a weak mobile game based on a weak premise. Everything about the game is low quality, right down to the buggy screen resolution. This is weak. Hard pass.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game really awesome. It really makes my brain work hard.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Any fan of the Diner Dash series will find themselves instantly at home, catering to the dietary fancies of a horde of ghastly beasties. While Dead Hungry Diner doesn't do anything necessessarily new, the game's charm lies in it's theme. Vampires, werewolves, zombies, banshees, and more intermingle, all in search of apparently delicious brainberries. Why slay monsters if you can just serve them dinner?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this game as part of a bundle, and it reminded me of the casual gameplay and gamestyle I've enjoyed on gaming websites like Kongregate and Newgrounds. If you enjoy restaurant (diner) management games and casual playstyle, you will like this game. The aesthetics are very nice and cute in this game, with art that reminded me a lot of Bardbarian. The music is fitting with the theme. The feedback is very good, and you can easily see where everything is. The controls are very simple - you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love it love it love it love it! I played -a lot- of Diner Dash as a kid, and this is like a better version of it! It's colourful, clever, the art style is aweosme. I... I actually do not have one bad thing to say about it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just play Diner Dash.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a good time running through the game ! Really addictive, Dunno why but I want to play it more and more :) ! Already spent nearly 10 hours on it, and gonna get every single achievement !!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Hungry Diner is a casual Restaurant City style game featuring zombies and brain berries rather than the typical restaurant patron. The game includes both quick game and story modes, supports the Steam Overlay and widescreen resolutions and is a very small 73 MB install. The music and graphics are both well done, and while the gameplay is fairly standard fare, the overall presentation is quite good. For a casual game of this nature this is a very good title. This is the perfect budget…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Hungry Diner is a charming, casual game with strategic elements that has you working a restaurant, fulfilling orders from zombies, werewolves, vampires and other such monsters. Its an easy to play game that involves a bit of strategy to make the most efficient use of your time as you pick up two orders before delivering them, rather than one at a time. There’s a familiar formula here that offers a new twist outside of its monster gimmick in the way that your customers get hostile when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favorite types of games to play. It's an arcade, point and click game that challenges you to do well. I love trying to keep everything perfect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo on a lark and was instantly hooked. This game will honestly challenge you to think about each move you make. You have to establish a rhythm of getting your patrons seated, making sure they are located in the right positions, collecting their money, and keeping the tables clean after they leave. While that may not seem interesting, it is. Add in the wide variety of spells and different approaches you can take to any of the situations you face and you have one heck of a wild…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Hungry Diner is a very nice restaurant management game. It has cute graphics, a catchy tune (only one though), and most importantly fun and addictive gameplay! The premise is simple, to save the city of Ravenwood from hungry dead you have to serve them a properly juicy dinner! They come every night in increased force and simple human powers might not be enough to manage the hungry horde, so you have a few magic tricks up your sleeve. To make it worse Vanda van Helsing, the hero and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know , like your old-school zombie games !! There's an inexplicable fun in such titles. Its just whole new level of Plants vs Zombies variety , though not a defense game, but vibe and look alike is somewhat similar. All the time spent and my game records being seen here, is what I consumed in One sitting and just one sitting. It gets quite hard to pull yourself together once you jump into it and understand the mechanics. You really have to have a sonic speed hand-eye coordination once you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little “Diner Dash”-like game. It's challenging (at least on the "hard" mode), has cute graphics, a great variety of "customers" and phases, and a lot of humor. It only has two minor problems in my opinion: 1- The achievements are very time consuming It is necessary to complete the game several times to get all the achievements, which is pretty frustrating. For example, by completing it once, the maximum number of stars that can be obtained is 150 and the star achievement requires 1,000.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Hungry Diner is an extremely fun time management game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a clone of Diner Dash but with creatures of the night. If you liked Diner Dash you will like Dead Hungry Dash
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Hungry Diner is fun, addicting and challenging. Cool cartoony graphics, variety of monster diners (vampires, werewolves and of zombies) and responsive controls with an interesting little story make this a blast to play. Great little game! 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game will keep you on your waitress/waiters toes. It's kind of addicting lol.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool take on the diner dash genre. I haven't beat it because there are a ton of levels, but its not bad. Definitely worth $5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Halloween themed sunday afternoon fun diner dash...sprinkled with creepy customers sounds. It gets a bit repetetive after a while but if you are a "gotta get 3stars on every level" nut like me, you gonna like it. Since full score is not that hard to get ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game if you're into time management games. Sit down a bunch of monsters into your restaurant. Keep them happy and win points. Certain monsters make other monster happy, others make monsters mad. You have to figure out how to best configure these monsters within the seats available. You also gain magic spells where you can make them more patient, turn them into calm zombies compared to angry monsters, and a host of other spells to help you get the max points on each level. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty decent casual game. It is like a simplified version of Diner Dash. For achievement hunters The achievements are pretty easy to get, but it is VERY GRINDY. The worst one requires you to play the entire game for 4 times. My Score: 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dinner Dash with undead and monsters. Get your goth on!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit boring...did expect more ....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really gave this one a try (got all the way to midway through the third tier of levels) but unfortunately it doesn't really capture the Diner Dash "one more level" feel. It also doesn't feel like you're getting better as the game goes on, unlike Diner Dash and similar. I liked the monster theme a lot, but it's missing something. The most frustrating aspect is definitely that you're only able to sit customers who are at the front of the line, and when you get to levels with two lines, it's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty fun little game about an orphaned sibling couple who decide to open a restaurant to serve zombies, vampires, werewolfs and other creatures in order to keep them from eating the local townsfolk. It has a tongue-in-cheek humour and was quite fun to play through.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good for keeping you amused when bored
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game in a bundle, and I had never played Diner Dash or any variant of that game. Perhaps that is why I like this game so much (since so many of the reviews claim this is a worse close of diner dash), but I feel I would anyways. This is a very fun and casual game that can be addicting. The artstyle is excellent and what initally drew me to the game. I like all the monsters and that they all have different characteristics, so you actually have to think about placing them and such. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game reminds me of Diner Dash and Cake Mania. It's basically just that. You have to make sure you keep your customers happy or else they'll leave or fight with each other. I like it better than Diner Dash because you get to help customers like zombies, vampires, and werewolves. I don't like it as much as Diner Dash because all you serve is some kind of berries that looks like brains. No variety for food but you have these extras you can purchase to up your movement speed, keep the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DHD is a cute little time-management game. Not really my thing, but it's nice. It would've helped a lot if there were hotkeys for the abilities and if you could just pick monsters from the queue instead of have to reorganise it first.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Intense and very fast! I was all ready stuck on level 7 for some time! But when you get hang of the game, it is really great fun and you learn to go for combos, combos and more important combos. The art is really good and I like designs of monsters and restaurants. The humour is good and game is not too short. Love it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, simple, cute. Nice! :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My head is headache when play it , just play one hour but my brain is stress . Anyway it is good game .
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game with a Blink bundle. It's a fairly well converted IOS game with elements of Diner Dash. It has a entertaining concept where the zombies appear to enjoy these flowers shaped like brains and I assume must taste like them. Not sure they'd taste the same, but I don't either either so I wouldn't know. It's a simple, yet fun game. However I feel that it probably works much better with a touch pad as it's faster to touch the tables than pointing the cursor back and forth between the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Indie, Casual" basically says it all. what also would say it all is "really stupid, not worth actual real money"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a ripoff of an old time management game called Diner Dash, essentially a tablet clicker game (but for some reason on PC, talk about not knowing your target audience). You run a restaurant business for zombies, they queue up outside your restaurant so you need to click and place the zombies at tables, take orders, fill orders, collect the money, and repeat ad nauseam. I don't know why this was ever released on Steam. The developer did develop some common sense and ported it to iOS…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent casual game that requires quick thinking and has charming characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a clicker type of a game - click a patron, click on the table, click on a monster sitting at the table, click when a monster finishes his meal, rince and repeat and do it fast. There is really nothing more to it. Really, nothing more to add here. Just take a look at som YT gameplays of this game. You can also get demo of this game, which is a safe way to try it before spending money. ---------- For anyone interested in joining in on completing your own backlog; check it out here -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun little restaurant simulator with a monster vibe.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's difficult to ever feel completely satisfied with a play session of Dead Hungry Ddiner. There's always one more pressing quest, one more unexplored tract of land, one more skill to increase, one more butterfly to catch. It's a mesmerizing game that draws you into an finely crafted fictional space packed with content that consistently surprises. The changes made since Alive Hungry Diner are many, and result in a more focused and sensible style of play, where the effects of every decision are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried really hard to finsh before I get bored but I couldn't do it ! Damn it's so boring after a few houres of play that I just UNINSTALL it If somone like to click non stop its ok Have some funny moments but ..... I did not feel the game Gameplay 2/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly SO MUCH more fun than you'd expect! Each monster is different, each level is different, the objectives are great, the power-ups are perfect, and if you like management games, or truly ~fun~ horror: then this is a great game for you!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MM BRAINS! While no innovator of the genre or GOTY candidate, Dead Hungry Diner is a relatively fun indie arcadey game which manages to be a competent casual Diner Dash clone. While not much at the core of this game is different from its predecesors except for a ghoulish Plants vs. Zombies-esque theme, it does everything it promises to deliver extremely well. Due to how well the game is executed, I see no reason to not recommend this game to fans of the time-management games or as an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have you ever played Diner Dash? Did you like it? Diner Dash is a game where you play as a owner of a restaurant. Patrons come in and expect the best. You have to seat them, take their order, deliver their food, take their bill, then clean up after them. (C'est la vie) Work fast, because people get unhappy really fast with slow service. It can get pretty frantic, as people are lining up to eat your slop at an incredible pace. Do a good job, and you get a nice pat on the back and the ability…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a pretty good game, though definitely better suited for a more mobile experience. Still, the devs have put (and continue to be putting) quite a lot of effort into making the game work well. Keep in mind, the game looks great at 1920x1080. The screenshots aren't doing the game justice as they're vertically squashed. The game is worth its asking price, but if there's a deal going on and you're on the fence - don't be, just give it a shot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its like diner dash! I love it! beat the whole game. and i'd do it again too. :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Preety boring game,i didn't like it much and the only reason that i bought it is that it has trading cards...After 2-3 hours you get bored to it's gameplay that it's basicly the same (with some changes).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty good if you like Time Management-style games. It can be a little buggy on integrated graphics cards, but the developer has been a lot more responsive to the issues than some other games I've played recently.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who considers time-management games my absolute favorite genre, Dead Hungry Diner completely hit the spot for me. Steam Deck Performance: It runs great on the Steam Deck, but here is a quick tip: skip the thumbsticks and buttons! Tap directly on the touch screen as if you were playing on a mobile phone—it makes the fast-paced gameplay feel intuitive and responsive. For Achievement Hunters: Getting 100% achievements is surprisingly engaging. Once you learn the rhythm and a few neat…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/4WqJ0W0xuNU There isn't much depth to this spinning plate game to keep players engaged past the first few opening stages.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not the best restaurant game of this type I've ever played but it gets the job done. The controls are made for tablets, I think, so they're ever so slightly awkward. The requirements to get all the achievements are absurd though. You either have to complete the game 7 times or grind the first level over and over almost 300 times, deleting the save file after each win. 100% Completion time: 15 hours 6 minutes 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good little game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anyone who's a fan of the Diner Dash series will appreciate this game. I also happen to be a fan of classic monsters so the theme is a plus in my book.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a simple game that's just a time waster. It's great if you liked something Plants Vs Zombies. This is basically a mobile game put on to computer but honestly it fun. I personally love this kind of game, so if this is your style, you'll enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice, casual little game in the Diner Dash genre. Cute and clever.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like Dinner Dash this is the game for you. I am huge fan of these kind of games even if they are short to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game. I bought it years ago and just rediscovered it in my library. I'm playing through it again and it's still super fun.
