unlabelledView post →A really good indie one is Ctrl Alt Ego, which has SO many ways to solve problems. And also a huge achievement list for doing absolutely unhinged stuff. You can apparently complete the whole game without even unlocking the jump button. The developer tested some absolute pervert stuff.
unlabelledView post →Random recording of Ctrl Alt Ego shotgun action just to remind people the game exists. Working on the sequel and not ready to show yet, which is why I've been quiet lately.
unlabelledView post →I’ve started my Ctrl Alt Ego replay since yesterday. I still bloody love this game. This strict difficulty + no powers run is going to be awesome.
unlabelledView post →Fredo's Game-Os: I've been spending some time with CTRL ALT EGO lately, an indie immersive sim from 2022. This one is kind of a sleeper hit, made a lot of "hidden gem" lists and seems highly regarded by your "in the know" types. Spoiler alert: It is really good!
unlabelledView post →If Conscious Robot Services haven't yet stuffed your post-matter sentience into Ctrl Alt Ego - the video game you were making when you still had flesh - you can now do it on the cheap: Ctrl Alt Ego is 55% off in the Steam Summer Sale.
unlabelledView post →I like how Corpus Edax has this in the Main menu with Indie Revolution showcasing indie immersive sims that are available or under development, and even has a small bug robot from Ctrl Alt Ego in game promoting it, this is great!
unlabelledView post →Dear Patient Gamers, Ctrl Alt Ego is 50% off on Steam, largest discount since launch. It's a game about being stuck inside a video game... where you were the programmer. It's a bit of a mind-thunk.

unlabelledView post →So I started playing CTRL ALT EGO, which so far is a pretty fun puzzle/immersive sim game, which I also /might/ be a little bit too dumb for. Regardless of my intelligence, I noticed that the game's achievements are presumably all just pictures of the developers cat so it's a 10/10 anyways.
unlabelledView post →My recommendation. Best indie game gem of all time: CTRL ALT EGO by @mindthunk.bsky.social
unlabelledView post →A super slept on game that’s genuinely really good: Ctrl Alt Ego! Not enough people have played this. If you enjoy immersive sims it's a very easy rec. It's a bit Prey, a bit Portal, and a bit, well, you really need to go check it out and see! store.steampowered.com/app/1571940/...

Tuesday if I do stream it'll be later in the day likely, Wednesday I'll be taking a break but you'll likely find me somewhere else later so stay tuned, and Thursday usual random whatever I feel like.
unlabelledView post →In space, no one can hear you scream... But they can hear you solve puzzles in an immersive sim and puzzle based genre blend that is apparently really good. Join me at 12 noon Central on January 4th as I play Ctrl Alt Ego! Only at twitch.tv/gothycollie
unlabelledView post →Ctrl Alt Ego... this is the game that can show everybody how the immersive sim indie revolution is powerful, amazing systemic gameplay made with passion.
unlabelledView post →Fredo's Game-Os update: I just rolled credits on CTRL ALT EGO and it rocked, super cool experience overall. Wildly impressive for something by a team of 2 especially. If you're a fan of the stuff in my quoted post here I would definitely recommend checking it out
unlabelledView post →Not since Ctrl Alt Ego. In my current headspace it's difficult to separate the experience of playing a game from the experience of being at work. One of those I can take a break from, the other not so much. As for favorite, as previously stated, I don't think this way.
unlabelledView post →Started playing Ctrl-Alt-Ego by @mindthunk.bsky.social and casually wondering where they're from Then I was told a terminal needed a kick up the arse and it became clear Also the game is very good
unlabelledView post →Ctrl Alt Ego is criminally cheap right now. Plus I got to do some sound and voice work on it. Go play it NOW if you want a game that will blow your goddammit mind with the sheer volume of player choice
unlabelledView post →No one told me there was a robot themed steam sale! We're gonna pivot and check out a highly regarded imm sim puzzle game that's FILLED with robots on tomorrow's stream! Ctrl Alt Ego!
unlabelledView post →I'd say the closest in spirit is probably Ctrl-Alt-Ego, which gives you so many tools and you don't need any of them to reach the end. It's possible to even complete the game without unlocking the jump button.
unlabelledView post →16) Ctrl Alt Ego I feel like this is the definition of hidden gem. Game is a stellar immersive sim with every unique gameplay mechanics. You owe it to yourself to become a disembodied ego floating around a space station.
unlabelledView post →-“this indie dev is making a [what the game is about], [listing key points], and finally “the game is called [name], would you play it?”. For Ctrl Alt Ego 2, sequel to a well recognized game, or games like RetroSpace who posts regularly, the way to post should be different.

unlabelledView post →Replaying Ctrl Alt Ego and I always have the feeling that I am so dumb because I keep beating my head on the wall dealing with the puzzles while the game is so open in the ways you can deal with them, highly recommend the game.
unlabelledView post →5. Ctrl Alt Ego (Game, 2022) Great Immersive Sim, starts off a bit confined but then during the second half the amount of player options and freedom to solve the game's puzzles feels almost limitless. The gameplay loop of hopping from machine to machine is also really addicting.
unlabelledView post →Ctrl Alt Ego It’s like if prey and wall e had a weird baby. It’s basically a puzzle game about hacking on a space station. It’s a physics driven immersive sim.

unlabelledView post →12. CTRL ALT EGO, probably the most underrated immersive sim. Type of game that you have to experience for yourself.
unlabelledView post →Looking forward to seeing if it reaches some of the heights of Ctrl-Alt-Ego which I finally played recently. Glorious little game when it finally takes the training wheels off in the last few chapters.
unlabelledView post →Earlier this week I was starting CTRL ALT EGO, and I think its kinda funny that this game exemplify every concept I found / looked upon when I was doing academic research on video game. Down to the part that it's an Immersive Sim. Amazing experience, would recommend if you are curious!
unlabelledView post →The 'boss fights' in Ctrl Alt Ego are great because they lean into the design of the game, you just need to apply what you've learned via the moment to moment gameplay funny enough I image it should be possible to skip a boss fight in an imsim with just clever use of the mechanics
unlabelledView post →Linear, single player with not much rpg... How about CTRL ALT EGO? It's an imsim (so in the same genre as Dishonored) First person about 15-20 hrs long, lots of puzzles, unique and very interesting indie game and it's currently on discount! store.steampowered.com/app/1571940/...
unlabelledView post →funding my crippling immersive sim addiction: just bought Ctrl Alt Ego. Also I have my E.Y.E on another game in particular
unlabelledView post →i cant believe i misread the fucking assignment FUCK heres games that are not free but are awesome, all on steam CTRL ALT Ego (cool immersive sim) Peaks of Yore (comfy 3d first person climbing game, might still be on sale for the 2.0 level editor update release) Utopia Must Fall (arcadey shmup)
unlabelledView post →Short Game Reviews for backlog games I never got around to. Mythforce - Don't care for the type of game. Love love love the Saturday Morning Cartoon throwback though. Ctrl Alt Ego - Controls are a bit wonky. Moving on. Deep Rock Galactic - I see why this is compared to Helldivers 2.

unlabelledView post →I’ve just finished my first run through the #indie #ImmersiveSim game Ctrl Alt Ego, and felt it was a shame that it’s not more well known. As an immersive sim fan, I’ve been sad that the studios behind both Deus Ex and Prey were closed in the current unpleasantness. With the conventional wisdom being that you need an enormous team and budget to make the detailed world required for an immersive sim, it seemed that the genre would languish for the foreseeable future. But then, I found…

unlabelledView post →I started playing that Ctrl Alt Ego game last night, and I was just thinking the entire time, this is Geist Literally just Geist if they went through with its initial development plan instead of trying to force it to be an action game And it's kind of amazing once you understand how it all works
unlabelledView post →The CTRL ALT EGO key art looks a little glitchier Glazed, but I like what it does to the weird pink consciousness-smoke! #gameart #CtrlAltEgo #indiegame

Also - started playing both #BastardBonds and #CtrlAltEgo. Fun times before I'll come back to the office on Tuesday. :blobfoxlurk:
