positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The "Power of Music" is real. Fun little game. Very trippy, strange, and funny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cosmic DJ is a very weird game where you create music to bring back the harmony in the galaxy. Story: You play as an unnamed person (let's pretend it's yourself). You're a cosmic DJ and STEVE3 the cosmic conductor of the universe asks for you help to repair jamtennas so you can restore the harmony of the universe. The story is very light, it might as well not even exist, but what writing is there is really decent and quite charming. It's a very bizarre storyline, but it works well enough…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here is a list of Pros and Cons of the game. Cons Story line takes less than an hour... This means after you complete the storyline, that's it, everything else you do from then on is not story driven, it's pretty much a studio from that point on. The developers could have stretched out the levels, and made more. But unfortunately there are only 5 levels, including the "boss battle". The reason I list this is because there was so much potential in creating bonds between the player and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short game..easy to beat. Cool game though..should be longer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember those musical toys, with 4 buttons, that you had when you were 1-2 years old? Or do you remember Bop It? This is basically what the game is. I was hoping this was a game which would allow me to somewhat compose my own music, kinda like an extremely simplified FL Studio with a storyline/game. I was disappointed. This may be good for people who have no clue about music. It'll make you feel like you actually make music.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not only has this increased my self esteem, but it also: + Had me moving to the sick jams I was making + Increased my overall mood + Got me chix If you are looking for a good time, this is the game for you. + Make sick beats to destroy bad vibes + Relive private memories but with sick JAMS + Turn your computer into deadmau5's recording studio If I had to give this a rating on a scale from 1-10, I'd say its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sickkkk. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game hasn't really given me that much interet in it, all you need to do is spam z,x.c,v and click every now and then. I thought it'd be challenging like OSU! but it's more of a toy. Pros: -Nice visuals -Music is ok?? -Vaporwave feeling Cons: -There's no challenge to it -Too repetative -Not really classed as a game (My opinion)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was very short, but very fun. I'd say it is worth three dollars, but it only took me about two hours two beat. I would like to see more content, but that's always the feeling you get at the end of a good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a long time I wasn't sure how to rate Cosmic DJ, to cut a long story short because I have other things to do ;) It was close but okay thumbs up, even if the game is not my cup of tea and it just wasn't fun, although into goofy things and everything with sound and music has my attention, but for me there was and is simply no reason to continue playing this game, so in terms of points a 5 out of 10. If you want to go on a crazy musical excursion like on magic mushrooms and don't have high…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not actually a game. Just fidget software.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a Drummer... I love Drum computers... this game functions like a simplified drum computer! so if you are able to process music in your brain and if you are a creative person, dont miss this game! it is just 1-2 hours long, but i HIGHLY recommend this game to all creative minds out there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's mostly a simple tool for sequencing music. With its simplicity comes a lot of limitations (you don't get to choose your instruments, they're randomly assigned; you can only place sixteenth notes; the loops last two bars, nothing more; you can have up to 4 instruments in a track), which can feel boring after a while, but it's also part of why it's easy to pick up. Its minimalism is also part of its beauty in my opinion, as you get to try your best with the instruments you get and with the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →samples are a bit limited, but actually a lot of fun :) the story is very basic and stupid but fun love the retro neon 8bit graphics totally worth the 3$
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My life was changed by THE POWER OF MUSIC!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this a while ago and absolutely adored it. It's a simple music/rhythm game with a few awesome beats (some of which you can create of your own!).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I realize now that the JAM is the true source of joy in the cosmos.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I freakin' love this game. It's basically a music sequencer with a story mode attached to it and I'm all about that. It's short but fun, and the (admittedly limited) gameplay is pretty unique and really stands out among all the games I've played. The songs it makes are decently interesting too, and the best part is I'd say anyone can play this and have fun, whether you already are into this kind of stuff or you're completely new to making music. 100% recommend, the only thing I'd say you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an okay rhythm/music experience with trippy graphics. It's not so much a game as it is a piece of software with weirdness included.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you go in expecting an in depth game experience, you'll probably be disappointed. You'll complete the stages by mashing a variety of keys down, or clicking on your dj tools. The backstories are funny, but the "make whatever you want to win," is the equivalent of holding "W" down on Aliens Colonial Marines to win.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but entertaining little game. The goal is quite simple : you must fix the universe with the ''PoWeR Of MUSIC!!!!'' The way to do this is by creating simple mix with the synths they give you and try to make something nice out of it. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, still fun either way. There's also a ton of random psychedelic effects and graphics, pretty charming stuff. Finished it in about an hour and a half. Probably worth a replay (especially If you have young kids,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun and simple game, that's easy to figure out. You can make your own music with a little selection of instruments, with some good/fun sounds.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Backlog on Steam spring clean event, so played it. Simple and enjoyable.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. But I already got a couple back together and DJ'd at their wedding with the power of music. I then saved and exported my music mix and jammed to my love conquers mix in .mp3 format. I even did some cover art. All in under 15 minutes. I got this game on a Steam sale for .74 cents. I already got more than my money's worth. Don't worry, I won't let my newfound fame and glory get to my head. But you can check out my album drop soon. See below for a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 100.5% sure that every single one of you always wondered about flying dogs, jumping cars and laser beaming horses, right ? Well than say no more and leave it to the POWER OF MUSIC ! ! ! Perfection is strong with this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short, indescribable, lush, empowering, lovely. If you understand why random llamas, double rainbows and laser eyed kittens all dancing to a hot jam mix you create in realtime is an experience worth savouring, dive in. It is smol/short, with little hope of expansion or modding but it also saves to disk whatever psychedelic semi-autonomous musical doolings you co-create, which you can upload for posterity, and for the price of a coffee or cheeseburger it is hardly fair to complain that it only…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is how mario feels like after taking a super mushroom, if the super mushroom smoked weed that got fertilized with steroids. superweedsteroidsfertelizershrooms/10 would hallucinate again
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is great! It gives you a small selection of weird insturments then you have to make a song which it then remixes for you while you draw the cover art then spits it out as an MP3 to share with your friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 would make fresh2death mixtapes again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I never thought I would had so much fun with THE POWER OF MUSIC
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it rewards filling the sequencer with random notes instead of making actual music...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great way to kill time. I enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →heady space gnars and groovy beats make this a cosmic funk ride on the midnight express... or something like that ^.^ its a pretty great game for 75 cents
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Music game. The Cosmic DJ has run out of music; generate more for his club scene. Prevent the annoying Steve4 from spreading bad vibes everywhere. Make noise. This isn't a skill game. It isn't even a luck game. It's an "art" game, where you're generating beat tracks using sound sample sets and a four-button beat box. You're presented with situations you need to fix with "the power of music" by generating beat tracks using the sound samples provided. There are no right or wrong answers,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a gem of a game. I played it about 10 years ago and was enamored. This is my recommendation: *take your substance of choice *wear headphones *play the music *don't take it seriously *submit the jam *enjoy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cosmic DJ is a narrative game that tasks you with composing music to match the mood of various absurd situations. It does a really good job of demonstrating how beats are constructed and brought together into songs and provides a lot space for experimentation while keeping things simple/accessible.
unlabelledView post →Someone saw the little music "maker" Google page and made it into a $3 game. 's alright but don't expect more than that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Picked up on sale and was way more than worth the money. Presentation is entertaining and comical. Creating tracks is simple (don't expect to make hit songs with this) and fun. And so far, I'm having a blast just playing around with Quick Play. I'm only taking off a point because it doesn't seem that you can save the "story mode" tracks that you create. However, I could just be missing something.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but fun, would recommend if you can afford to pay for a game that won't last long but will make you experience the joy of music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hot ass game love this shidd
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah I guess I recommend it. I mean you get what you pay for... But what did I get?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this at 1am. I did not regret staying up to become a Cosmic DJ Legend. Join the Cosmic DJs for one long vibe 10/10 would vibe again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garage Band gameified. You are given a partially composed piece of repeating electronic music and lay out rhythms on some more instruments to complete the track. The notes you put out also affect the visuals of the scene which makes a experimenting really enjoyable. At the end of a set they mix all the tracks you've made and you can download it which is a super satisfying reward if you've made your tracks sound nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A supremely weird but awesome music game experience. Great to play when you're already heavily medicated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was fun. It was cheap. My kids love it. You can't go wrong.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With its strong emphasis in jamming, Cosmic DJ is an interesting take on the rhythm/music creation genre, and one that's also very enjoyable. Is there reason to invest time and money in something that won't last more than an hour, though? Cubed3 Rating: 5/10 [url=http://www.cubed3.com/review/5204/1/cosmic-dj-pc.html]Read Full Review Here
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the start of each level you're presented with instrument loops encased in clickable boxes. Click them to listen then use the grid sequencer or pad to match what you heard. Repeat until all the instrument parts are matched and you've completed the level. I didn't understand the tutorial or knew what i was doing but it sounded good so i went ahead to the gameplay. By that time i had a fairly good idea what to do. It's fun for ear and memory training. Unsure if missing the actual keys and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i poo pood and pee peed my pants lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a really fun game, but unfortunately the automatic mix makes it too limited and destroys your creating possibilities.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →an Awesome journey to the jam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What the hell was this game? I don't know, but I really enjoyed it. I would ask that you remove the minimum requirement of notes for songs, because I'd make a really good one and then I'd just have to keep putting more and more in until it sounded more like a jumbled mess just to pass the level.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's bad, but you can have fun. ★★☆☆☆
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game where you save the universe with THE POWER OF MUSIC. The game gives you a simple sequencing software and some instrument samples, and you make songs and progress through the story. There's no real obstacles or challenge, it's more about just cranking out some jams and laughing at the absurd story.
