positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically this game is a keyboard masher. You take orders from your customers and tap different buttons. Each dish and ingredient have key assign to it so your goal is to quickly read what your customer wants and press corresponding buttons to deliver. On plus there's a lot of real dishes with very detailed description which looks really tasty. Music is rather good and I like it. Graphic and art style is ok. Game is not bad in its own category but I don't find this type of gameplay very…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay so I want to start by saying this used to be one of my favourite games. The issue is NOT with the game. The issue IS with the fact that since the most recent update to allow it to be played on steam deck, it will NOT play on the PC due to the changes made making the screen shrink and anything you try to press not respond and if you try to click on anything, the mouse location and what is supposed to be clickable do not line up. You can alt+tab back and forth to get it back to full screen,…

Its the reason why I am such a great typist. lol. I love the time management, all the recipes, all the fun stress, I doubt I've played any game in my life as much as this one. ha. At this point in time I have played this franchise for 15 years ha. lol. Overseas in Germany with awful internet. In New Mexico while I was in college. All over the PNW. And…

unlabelledView post →CSD 2 is supposed to be the most balanced one between CSD and CSD 3. It have more food choices than CSD, and better customizations for the restaurants than CSD3. However, it also introduce the rigid, dreadful copper-silver-gold medal systems that put so much pressures on having a perfect day. The burger level had stumped me for months. I don't know how to enjoy this game anymore.

Overall Rating - High Quality ★★★★☆ First Impressions With more punctuation than necessary, Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! (CSD2) is a sequel that has probably been long overdue for me to play, considering how long ago it's been since messing with the first game. It certainly hasn't been a lack for owning them, as I have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is severely broken, you have to role it back to a previous update just to get it to take any sort of input and even then you can't run it in full screen without the game wigging out or crashing. Devs have been aware of the issues for nearly 3 years and done nothing to fix it. Don't waste your money on a broken and abandoned game!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! turns restaurant work into an energetic combination of cooking, time management, memory, and rapid decision-making. Developed and published by Vertigo Gaming Inc., the game takes a seemingly ordinary premise of preparing meals for customers and pushes it toward arcade-like intensity. Every shift becomes a balancing act involving incoming orders, complicated recipes, preparation timers, customer patience, and routine restaurant chores. It is approachable enough to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First, it feels strange if you've played csd1, more stations, less progress etc. It takes a big step through difficulty dimension too. But once getting used to new playing style, it is far more satisfying to deal with ever challenging levels. Great typing game.

I don’t tend to share my stacks, but I’m super proud that I’ve now done all 3 stacks of this mindless fun management game.~ My first stack took 179.5 hours, and this final one took me 61 hours. 🤩🏆💖 #TrophyHunter #PlayStation #PlatinumTrophy
unlabelledView post →Not nearly as much fun as the first game. The addition of some new foods and the ability to work in other restaurants to gain experience is appreciated, but it has some serious bugs. For one, the video options simply DON'T WORK. Also, sometimes when you prepare a food for the keep warm counter, it IMMEDIATELY goes bad and earns you a negative rating which you can't do anything about. It's also frustrating that you HAVE to turn the menu over to access the second or third page of toppings, even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely love this game and it is one of my favorite games/series out there. It does get a bit repetitive after a while but it is still a good way to spend the time every once in a while. There is also an absurd amount of different food and beverages you can serve.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like first game in this series and wanted try more of them. This is very much same like first. You manage restaurants to cook&serving people and need care on restaurant dishes and toilets. It is very fast game and you need good reflex to play normal because there is much challenge. It is interesting but I don't want play long because it gets so much stress! There is many good looking food in game from different places and it inspire you make your own. Art is better then in first game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AS A COOKING GAME IT'S NOT THAT BAD. BUT THIS GAME IS TOTALLY RACISM. THERE ARE SOOO MANY JAPANESE CULTURE IN CHINESE RESTAURANT. I hadn’t played this game since 2018 because it wasn’t compatible with the Steam Deck, but yesterday I noticed that, since 2022 (if I’m not mistaken), it’s playable on the Deck. So here I am again, addicted to this masterpiece. Edit: Proton version 10.0 accelerates time in-game at double speed. If u play on steam deck, force it to use proton 9.0 and problem solved.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is basically the same as the first, but with more food options, challenges, and chores that everyone hates. The variety that this game offers has a lot of customization for what you want your restaurant to serve while managing even more chaos that is standard worker in food industry. Aside from that you also gain experience working shifts in other restaurants that are also in this tower for some reason, dealing with menus that sound reasonable for their themes but is a nightmare when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game should come with a free prescription for blood pressure pills. As soon as that Rush Hour music starts, my normally healthy blood pressure shoots through the roof. Why do I do this to myself? It's definitely better on PC over Steam Deck though - although the controls function as intended and there were no crashes on Steam Deck, it's just significantly easier on a keyboard. I get why they toned the achievement difficulty down when porting to console, to account for the controller use.

It's strange because it can be a pretty damn stressful game. +Amazing art that will make you very hungry and wish food looked that good in real life. +Demanding gameplay that can be super challenging +Fairly good co op support, on the same pc too. +Legitimately helped me learn to touch type -Can get a little repetitive -Progression isn't really too fun. Or at least it's just a little too basic

unlabelledView post →Oh joy, they made chores even more annoying -_- Honestly an obvious step down from the first game, right from the start. From the aforementioned chores to the navigation... it just sucks. Trying to do anything is so unintuitive, annoying, and unnecessarily complicated - navigating the menu, keybinding, saving the game, playing the game. Everything. Also, there was the time that my game randomly crashed when I was looking for the keybindings menu. A game and it's UI should not be an exercise in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fast-paced, stressful game? check. A game all-about clicking and cooking? check. Can play single-player or coop? check. If you want a chill, relaxing friday night then this game will definitely change your plans. It's highly addicting, especially with all the various restaurants you get to unlock, that comes with a respective menu and controls for it. Thought this game would be a great bonding time for my partner and friends, but turns out we spent the night shouting and planning on…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game's fine, but I think you should get CSD 1 if you want a more mechanically tight experience or 3 if you want a great challenge. If you've played those games and have had your fill, I'd say you should then play 2.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I appreciate some of the improvements made in this one, it overall didn't grab me the way the first one did. As others have said, playing the preset restaurants isn't as interesting to me as building up my own restaurant. More than that though, while the increased variety of recipes is cool, they end up feeling far less distinct to me. Every recipe in the first game had its own unique feel and flavour, while in this one they feel a lot more samey. I also personally found the holding…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fast-paced and intense restaurant management game that challenges your multitasking and reflexes. With hundreds of recipes and varied levels, it offers great replayability. It can feel overwhelming at first, but quickly becomes addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An amazing improvement over Cook, Serve, Delicious!. Most significant is the introduction of holding stations, where you can prepare dishes and side dishes. Not all dishes can be prepared like that though. Side dishes increase customer patience, so you often have to choose what to do with the limited amounts of holding stations. The maximum amount of "prep stations" (the orders coming in from the left) has been increased to 14, which is very daunting.. You'll be using -=[] to access those, and…

The best part is that for all this self-hurting I payed in hope of fun. Ingenious indeed! Side note: I successfully finished CSD1, but now it feels like mere tutorial.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An improvement to the first game in quality, with a bigger variety of foods to prepare. Story mode is better in CSD1, but here we have more restaurants and options. Recommended for people who liked CSD1
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easy and Fun game ,until you reached shift {day} 14 or 16 in Chinese restaurant) with not too hard mechanics and good artworks. PS.Playing CSD1! is recommended [So you will understand mechanics better] ) ^-^

unlabelledView post →Straight off the bat, this is WAY overly complicated. Secondly, it's practically impossible to play on a 4k monitor. As soon as you tab out, the window magnifies by 300x, making it impossible to do anything. Can't have it in borderless windowed mode as it half spreads across a second screen and disappears into the void, can't have it in 1080p because the window doesn't show at all. Immediately uninstalled, won't be playing again.
