Slap a few crisper textures, give a new colored biome, give a few new units (with the same stats as others), Charge double the price, and call it the second game in the series. wow, are you serious? The game is also plagued with the AI cheating in ridiculous proportions (obviously same as the original because it's the same exact game). If your going to rehash a game, at least have the dignity to charge the same price as the original. Wait for a mega sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too much emphasis on their multiplayer and discord, to the point of being invasive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are wondering which version of the game to get, buy this one. It has the most units, content and features. It is a lot more fun than the original because of these things. This game is sort of like Starcraft, if it were in a bunch of circular bases, which are mostly connected. Most of the bases are land, but some are water. There are land and water units (no air units, unlike Starcraft). It feels like Starcraft when you play it, because you can group the units with the number keys 1…

It's ok but I really miss a classic campaign where the game introduces a few of the buildings, armies and technologies and then tells a bit of a story. The game might be good in coop multiplayer mode with your friends, but I only played single player and that's not too hot. You have a lot of units to choose from and it's hard to really measure the strength of your units compared to enemies. So all in all, the game's not bad, but right now I would not recommend…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a good concept, but didn't do enough to keep me coming back. The concept of each circle being its own little kingdom is certainly a solid idea, and can be quite engaging at times. However, the concept falls short the more hours are poured into the game. Hardcore gamers may enjoy the tough challenge the game may throw (including online challenges against other players), but this game fell short for my enjoyment. Circle Empires is a challenging territory type game where players…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Circle Empires is a simplistic, fresh take. I truly love what this game is trying to do, for the otherwise dying RTS genre. It is also a terribly designed and executed game. But first, lets look at what it does right: - Limiting Micromanagement* - Unique Gamemodes (some of them boil down to same thing but several are very good) - Simple Design I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate these changes, and how much more fun it is for new players. This is the kind of game that RTS…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The original game, Circle Empires, is better for single-player.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Circle Empires Rivals is an interesting take on the RTS genre with maps made out of small circular fields interconnected at the cardinal points. Now, the graphics are pretty bad (heck, even Warcraft III had 3D graphics, 23 years ago!) and while bad graphics normally go hand in hand with bad gameplay, it's not so bad here, with a lot of depth you expect from classical RTS games.. a big plus, but let down by a weak technical implementation (which is the difference between this being mildly…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun co-op game that can be as casual or challenging as one wishes. Waifu absolutely loves it as the learning mechanic is simple yet enough to satisfy. Game isn't too expensive and we had a blast conquering. Thank you for reading my honest feedback.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun if you do not want to play multiplayer. I just spent an hour looking and waiting for multiplayer games and NOTHING. It looks strange because they act like there are many open games going on. But if there was then why have none opened or ended in an entire hour of me sitting here. Fun if you can play multiplayer but I am not here for the solo game. Looks fun if you want solo though. But that is just not me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game. It's basically a RTS for impulsive, goblin brain players which does describe me. Essentially the core loop is balancing long-term progression with necessary aggression to cull other enemies so they don't grow faster than you do. So you collect resources, build an army, and bully with it as long as you can to buy time to collect more resources, the most satisfying part being that literally every unit in the game levels from being used, meaning that even the cheapest…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointing sequel. Not bad game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Usually not a fan of RTS but this simplifies it enough and has way more than enough unlockables to keep me entertained.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, game is really good. I would say it is like a simpler version of Age of Empires 2, but you don't have to play it for hundreds of hours to get the game. Which makes a smallish game like this better in my opinion. -You still have to manage your economy, get economy upgrades etc. but there is no creation time and you don't have to multitask like a beast. Is it a bad thing? Definitely not. -Strategy might be important but you don't have to be a beast. -There are lots of different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, it's so simple, but it also makes sense and does have more than enough content to not be an issue, you can challenge yourself, play with or without other people, and honestly, if you like strategy, it's worth it, i'd even argue this is a good entry into the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great find under 5 euros, kind of chill but also can be competetive, specially in pvp with friends or randoms. nice progression. can unlock characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its good if you buy super cheap just wish they added multiplayer to the og
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hello there i am here to point out a few things that i feel like i was wrong about but also right about them too so i go down the list 1. like i said before the bug or something that crashes the game when you first get it by hitting "send a message to the dev" was something i have experienced and yes it did happend 2. the Ai behavior was something i wanted to do better on explaining now as you might've see that the AI dose not! get smarter when put up to higher diffculty they only get buffs…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for something to spend fun time with your friends - it is what you are seeking for. Simple rts, less microcontrol - more epic battles, unexpected events and amusing moments
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i remember playing this game in its early stages man i sure loved it then and sure love it now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love RTS games, you have to try this one out. Been playing it with my girlfriend constantly. We love it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's got a gritty (made by one person with free assets) vibe. But it does capture the spirit of RTS, specifically warcraft 3, in a fun, accessible, and creative way. And that's a win.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely fun game with friends. A lot of RTSs require a high APM and a deep understanding of game mechanics. This can be a lot of fun, but also makes it difficult to play with friends since if one friend in the group has the APM and/or understanding, they dominate. Circle Empires on the other hand is simple, low APM, and has a not too low skill ceiling despite having a very low floor. There are some interesting mechanics that you can utilize, but the important ones are either obvious or don't…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept and gameplay itself is okay, but the variety between leaders is sorely lacking. You're essentially fighting the same units the majority of the time. This makes the gameplay too symmetrical and repetitive. I'd avoid this one if you're more in favour of asymmetrical type RTS games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little strategy game based on a unique mechanic "Circles!" for your "kingdoms/lands". There is more than enough character diversity to play in many different way and also a lot of modes to play yourself and along with friends. Got a weekend with your boys and gals, totally worth picking up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game, easy and enjoyable, also I like the pvp side
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's so nice to play with friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy such as units walking through multiple walls, some games are chill while others throw stacks of insanely strong units out of the blue that just reck everything while multiplying. This combined with the aforementioned wall ignoring bug makes it just frustrating to play
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Circle Empires: Rivals, developed by Luminous and published by Iceberg Interactive, is a fast-paced real-time strategy game that expands on the original Circle Empires concept by introducing multiplayer gameplay, deeper mechanics, and an even broader range of units and factions. At its core, the game retains its signature circular map design, where each “circle” represents a biome filled with resources, enemies, and opportunities for expansion. With its unique map structure, intuitive controls,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game but poorly optimized. Cant even spawn millions of krakens without lagging smh.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/VmygNt_lYVs Fundamentally it's a game about smashing large clumps of units together and watching the sparks fly, and that's pretty fun.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →simply put its most of the fun of an rts but condensed and better for short sessions
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun game casual when you want, multi player challenge when you want it tougher.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, worth it for the price!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun to mindlessly play after long day at work. Clearing levels is satisfying, strategy is meaningful and game does not have usual frustrations of rts.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I made the game crash from how many units i had. very fun game, wish the circles were bigger.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's circles, empires, and maybe rivals?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great RTS with fun art style. Lots of replayability due to lots of factions, builld variety, and mission types. Great for multiplayer. Simple at its core, but has lots of depth for all sorts of playstyles.
