Chinese Zodiac
Asian Hawk leads a mercenary team to recover several lost artifacts from the Old Summer Palace, the bronze heads of the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals which were sacked by the French and British armies from the imperial Summer Palace in Beijing in 1860. Assisted by a Chinese student and a Parisian woman, Hawk stops at nothing to accomplish the mission. From TMDB

Here’s what I’ve already seen, I’ll spin a wheel or some other means to decide what I watch. See y’all on the other side 👊🏽 #FilmSky THREAD

As to JC, there was apparently even some controversy related to his 2012 film Chinese Zodiac which depicts him reprising his role of Indiana Jones knock-off “Asian Hawk” (from Armor of God I + II) leading a mission to steal back Chinese artifacts. qz.com/72921/jackie...

The lucky color came back yellow/brown — which is funny, because I was literally wearing a mustard sweater I've owned since 2019. Small thing, but it made me stand up straighter. Tap the link and check yours, it takes a minute. Just cast today's fortune for the Ox — overall 75, Steady progress — keep the rhythm, lucky #DailyFortune #ChineseZodiac #BaZi #Ox https://siderune.com/go/570ce59080a8
unlabelledView post →Clearly written with Jackie Chan's approval (even if he admits to numerous faults) there's a lot of, "These are good things I've done" segments that feel forced. However, it's decently written insight into his career, with a tilt toward his then recent Chinese Zodiac (a rather terrible movie).
