unlabelledView post →Watch the terrible (but totally watchable) movie "Bulletproof Monk"... they actually spend the entire movie answering that question. Um. Sort-of. I -did- say it was a bad movie.
unlabelledView post →Wow I'm surprised my Bulletproof Monk video's doing pretty decently! I was fairly sure people wouldn't remember the movie. So you can definitely expect more unexpected comic adaptation videos in the future
unlabelledView post →Come thru to my screening of BULLETPROOF MONK a movie I am extremely not screening and just remembered exists
unlabelledView post →No one watched the Chow Yun-fat and Seann William Scott movie Bulletproof Monk???
unlabelledView post →The haircut of all the podcast bros who would totally accept him as führer #KungFuSat #BulletProofMonk
unlabelledView post →Watched Bulletproof Monk (2003) Very okay movie. I think what it gets right as a martial arts adventure is the heightened fighting. Just a little flashy, a little magic in the right places, never too much. And the fights are pretty good. The mild sci-fi element doesn't feel right, though.
unlabelledView post →How could a movie called "Bulletproof Monk" be bad? (It's bad. Surprise!)
unlabelledView post →James [of Steven Seagal]: “What a gem that man is.” Nick Mason: “I agree!” James: “And by gem, I mean sex criminal.” Maso: “Oh. Also agree!” 🤣 In a Bulletproof Monk video, no less: youtu.be/RnHt_lUZ-Ww?... #lol @theweeklyplanet.bsky.social #FilmSky 🎥
unlabelledView post →I remember being in the theater seeing this really cool trailer for an action movie. It was awesome and the whole crowd was into it, until the name popped up and everyone groaned. I knew it was going to bomb. That movie was Bulletproof Monk.
unlabelledView post →The movie of Bulletproof Monk is actually pretty good. Or at least decent.
unlabelledView post →@Starcade I ❤️ the #DarkTower (2017). It's one of those sci-fi or fantasy based films, in which a kid or younger person is cast as a hero or cohort, that just appeals to me, much like: #EndersGame (2013) #TheLastAirBender (2011) #SorcerersApprentice (2010) #BulletProofMonk (2003) #TheForbiddenKingdom (2008) None of which are great movies from a film making POV but are movies that I find very entertaining nonetheless.
unlabelledView post →Right now, I'm watching Bulletproof Monk. Which, ofc, starts out with shitty Nazis. So I'm starting to sense a pattern of lessons to be learned. This movie is stereotype-laden and silly, but I love it all the same. I hate that it reminds me of my ex, though.
unlabelledView post →I just watched a funny movie with Sean William Scott in it called the Bulletproof Monk. bsky.app/profile/wayn...
unlabelledView post →a movie doesn't have to be good to be a good movie Bulletproof Monk is a good movie
unlabelledView post →The could never make Bulletproof Monk today. random weirdo martial arts movie with Stiffler from American Pie as the protagonist and Chow Yun-Fat teaming up to fight immortal Nazis? they'd say it's not part of an intellectual property so fuck off youtu.be/W6PjwmnDlMo?...
unlabelledView post →Adhd you serve me well this time. Is it not Bulletproof Monk? Chow Yun-Fat and Seann William-Scott? Unless it's a WONDERFULLY badly translated actual Chinese buddy cop film. Hi. I'm Bridgette & I know movies sometimes.
unlabelledView post →Chow Yun-Fat is fun though, I like him. Good energy in that movie. Kinda shocking how the movie's called Bulletproof Monk and he only gets shot once though.
unlabelledView post →Thought I'd start them with "Lost Horizon" (1937 version), proceed to "Bulletproof Monk", then "The Sky Captain, World of Tomorrow" for a rip roaring close to American film making.
unlabelledView post →11 movies to get to know me (it's really 11 🤷): Air Force One Short Circuit 2 Batteries Are Not Included Back To The Future 1 An Affair To Remember Charlie's Angels(Barrymore's; 1st movie) Frozen Bulletproof Monk Arahan So Close (Mok's) Beauty And The Beast (Watson's)
unlabelledView post →Bulletproof Monk, which we thought would be 'Stiffler but in an action movie.' And it was but it sucked ass
unlabelledView post →OK time to watch a personal top 5 comic book live action flick Bulletproof Monk! Yes it's not film student best list but its my fun enjoy! I saw opening weekend back in day haha! Most cats didn't even know it was a comic back then! youtu.be/W6PjwmnDlMo?...

unlabelledView post →The debut work of UK-based Mucky Foot Productions of the later Startopia and Blade II. They didn't last while six of their projects got canned, among them an actual sequel and movie licensed games based on Bulletproof Monk and The Punisher (which ended up developed by Volition of Saints Row fame).
unlabelledView post →Good question it's like that hot dog bun riddle from The Bulletproof Monk movie.
unlabelledView post →i suggest EVERYONE look u and rewatch. Bulletproof Monk (2003), I have been realty reminded about this movie-----and this!! A monk protect a scroll from Nazis, forward in time the Nazis granddaughter is doing a showcase-at peace center----where do you want to be? behind or Infront of the Gun?
unlabelledView post →Getting arrested for shouting "Bulletproof Monk is a great movie, you're all cowards" at everyone I meet, I'm facing the death penalty
unlabelledView post →Bulletproof Monk was fun too. Though that may be because I'm a sucker for a Chow Yun Fat movie.
unlabelledView post →once got a DVD copy of Bulletproof Monk via xmas gift swap & it was one of the worst movies i've ever seen. like if someone prompted chatGPT to make a script out of action movie tropes + a sprinkle of kung fu 15 years before chatGPT existed
unlabelledView post →Based on the comic book by Brett Lewis and Michael Avon Oeming, the action comedy 'Bulletproof Monk,' starring Chow Yun-fat, Seann William Scott, and Jaime King, arrived in theaters on this day in 2003. #BulletproofMonk #film #movie
unlabelledView post →"Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings" got a lot of attention for being the first Hollywood movie based on a comic book where the hero is Chinese, but too many people seem to be forgetting Chow Yun-Fat as the titular Bulletproof Monk (a 2003 movie).
unlabelledView post →I also don’t see this with completely rose tinted glasses either - I think a lot of especially HK stars were basically given roles in shit films as band wagon jump - I’m not going to pretend Bulletproof Monk was a good movie but it’s interesting to see how much more closed off Hollywood seems to be
unlabelledView post →I don't know who I let con me into thinking Bulletproof Monk was a cool movie but wow it was not
unlabelledView post →Finished The Last Dragon (1985). An absolute absurd delight of 80's culture. It's interesting that American send-ups of kung fu cinema are so inconsistent.... #TheLastDragon : 4/5 #BigTroubleinLittleChina : 5/5 #KungPowEntertheFist: 1.5/5 #BulletProofMonk 3/5 (but I'm overdue for a rewatch. I liked it years ago but my opinion may have changed.)
unlabelledView post →Chop Schlockery. Chow Yun-Fat and Sean William Scott buddy up to retrieve an ancient scroll from baddies, chop sockery does follow. That’s pretty much it really, the two characters obviously poles apart, but coming together as one in a series of action scenes that are both laughable and enjoyable because of the former. The script is poor, with much of the dialogue of the tripe delivery kind, and in truth Yun-Fat is wasted in a thankless role. Story throws in a Nazi baddie, a girl on girl scrap…
