Becky. Ben has the ability to transform into different animals and shapes, just like Fred Clever (Mort in English) from the Clever & Smart (Mortadelo y Filemón, in English "Mort & Phil") comics by Francisco Ibáñez Talavera. The objective of the game is to collect five kinds of stars and then win twice an end challenge that…

This game brought back so many memories. This game goes through many different topics and most games can be adjusted in difficulty: Easy (!), Medium (!!), or Hard (!!!). The difficulties will progress by themselves but if the progression is not maintaining your child's speed, then you can adjust to fit their needs. This game is sily enough to keep a child…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Big Thinkers Kindergarten is a game for kids, mainly those that can't read or learning to read. In other words, it's for kids under 6 or 7 years old. In it, you have a brother and a sister that can tranform themselves in many things and that are explaining the games and encouraging kids. Ben and Becky are searching for Smart Stars around their house. And these can be obtained by playing minigames. For example, you'll find in the kitchen three minigames that will cover three domains: Alphabet…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Hello there! How are you? It's great to see you here! I'm Ben… " And I'm Becky; let's start off with a cheer!" Big Thinkers Kindergarten is an educational game for toddlers and young kids. You follow the two hosts (Ben and Becky Brightly) as you play mini-games and learn things like colors, numbers, spelling, etc. I loooooved this game in elementary school, so in the name of nostalgia, I'm going to write an unnecessarily long review of each mini-game. Hopefully it helps parents or teachers…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know this is aimed for children but the whole thing is just so badly made. The game is so needlessly annoying and there is no sound setting that I could find (menus are beyond horrible) and neither there was a "quit" button. Not sure about Windows but on Linux the game just takes over your PC/monitors and it doesn't let you tab out or alt + f4 it, so I had to restart my PC to quit it... I am 100% sure I would despise this game even as a child.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is impossible to load this game on a Windows 10 machine in a playable format. Because Steam does not release the game code one cannot load the game into the Scumm application that it needs to run. Any changes to the found ini files are wiped out be the load from Steam and the result is a 2500x3200 display on a 1920x1080 monitor - I have a disappointed 5 year old that really would like to be able to use this - and it is not amenable to his use because in most displays essential information…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dont waste your money. I bought this game for my 5 year old and the music cuts in and out. I know its not my desktop because i never have an issue with ANY other games, or videos, or music files ETC. I know it was only $1 but wow what a waste!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I MADE IT OUT! Once you start this game you're traped! Those a*sholes will lock you up and force you to play with them. But I'm ready to take on Grade 1! 1/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Classic gaming right here! Very nostalgic, I wish HE was still making games. <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →big thinks! kingeratern.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played it with my 4yo. Some of the minigames are frustrating, and subtitles on clues are missing. This is targeted to native English speakers, and trying to translate clues to my son makes me miss some of them. But the animations alone make my kid enjoy it a lot. It is extremely cute. And the variety of skills is great.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah, I can see a preschooler having fun with this. Big Thinkers is a collection of minigames that range from alphabet training, follow the clues, basic counting to height guessing. All is very colorful and positive. The intro freaks me out, but it might be ok for a child. Have fun collecting Smart Stars. Follow my curator at https://store.steampowered.com/curator/28337205-Fair-Minded-Witness/

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw another review where somebody couldn't run this on Windows 10. I just wanted to say that this wasn't my experience at all. The game ran flawlessly on my system with no need to tweak anything. Graphics are, of course, vintage 1990's, but everything seemed to be working great, including the sound. Looks like a cute game, my 4-year old will enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is trash, I played it to have a brief review of subjects before I continued my college level education. I soon came to find that the transforming weeboos did not learn how to correctly count the number of birds perching on the strechy woman's leg. There were two green birds and three red birds thats six birds total. Not five, I am tired of this developers ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I spent good money on this game. I am posting this review so no one else wastes their money on this cancerous game.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Big Thinkers was another obscure title from Humongous Games, except this game did had one sequal making it slightly more expanded than the Fatty Bear game. This is a straight up educational game that does include point and click areas where objects react or come to life like any traditional Humongous Game. The main protagnogists are two shape shifting siblings named Ben & Becky Brightly who live in a colorful house that is almost equivelent to Pee-Wee's Playhouse minus the living furniture. Ben…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love how this game legit got the YouTuber PeanutButterGamer to question the logic of these superpowerful godlike shapeshifting beings that teach kids kindergarten skills while also saying the word "Inflation Fetish" uncensored in that video at the same time. Also, It is childhood nostalgia. Also, if you think that is inappropriate for me to joke that in the review of this game. Keep in mind that the targeted age group of this game is not legally allowed to own a steam account. If you let…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played Big Thinkers Kindergarten in the late ’90s as a kid on our Gateway computer running Windows 98. I’m definitely too old for a game like this now, but nostalgia got the better of me, so in 2026 I picked it up for my four-year-old. While I do wish it had a few modern quality-of-life updates and clearer audio in some spots, the game still absolutely nails the audience it’s meant for. My child was fully engaged, having a blast, solving puzzles and answering math questions, all while still…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As the name implies, this is a game for very young children. What I remember most from playing this back then was the sandbox game. I thought it was really cool to see this whole miniaturized world, and the hide and seek thing was fun. Now that I am grown and revisiting this as part of an extended revisit of all of these childhood games, I kinda feel like I just experienced a fever dream that took place on the set of a children's tv show with elements of body horror. Anyways, I recommend…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently revisited "Big Thinkers Kindergarten," a game I adored as a child, and it was an absolute blast from the past! It's incredible how well this game has stood the test of time. From the charming characters to the engaging activities, it's a nostalgic trip down memory lane. As an adult, I appreciate the positive impact this game had on my early learning experiences. It's not just about teaching basic skills like math and reading; it's about fostering creativity, critical…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only recommended to actual Kindergarten kids. I am not the target demographic. I bought it in the humble bundle so I can't really complain too much.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is definitely one of Humongous Entertainment's lesser series, at least in my eyes. It's just a mini-game collection to help learn about different things like telling time or counting. It's still great fun filled with the usual Humongous Entertainment charm, but those wanting a silly story like you'd find in their point-and-click adventure titles will have to look elsewhere. As for the game itself, my only real issue is how many smart stars are needed to get the big grand star at the end. I…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game for little kids. Despite the older game play it is still relevant today. A few bugs, but nothing game breaking. The primary goal is to play mini games to earn stars, stars are used to play special games and earn a star of smarts. I made a speedrun profile to play with my kids and got to super duper star of smarts in less than an hour. Fish tank is good for farming red stars quick. Get like 4 in like 10 seconds, if you use the Esc key to skip animations. These games use a bottom…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(THIS IS A JOKE DON'T TAKE IT TOO SERIOUS) This game is a time killer, wife beater, children treater. it is amazing, i shall spend all of my days playing this game due to the fact that it for one, teaches me kindergarten (The grade were YOU learned about friendship!!!) but also gives me childhood memories, this game will ASTOUND you with its amazing graphics and sound quality, the intro song will be stuck in your head for weeks on end... something something kindergarten something something…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is amazing. It helped me change my outlook on the world, life is worth living. They said i was good at memory game. They saved me. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still haven't gone through all the activities and will keep you updated. Some activities you can play with the sound off and some you can't. Navigation between rooms is a game of chance. There is a hard to discover warp option though. I think it appears when you bring the cursor to the bottom edge of the screen. Also at the bottom of the screen is the hippo bank. There is a book remarkably like the record book that you click on then type Y for yes to quit. Why the couldn't have made it all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another beloved childhood game of mine! I'm so happy to be able to play it again! I never tried hard mode when I was little, so it's a new experience. Some of the games still make me think a bit so it's not boring
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →get this for yo kindergardener no brain rot today my kid loves this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fantastic game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play a demo as a kid and it feels great to play it as a whole today. With today's issues schools have with kids using tablets, leading to lack of attention and education. I wish the series kept going, I would encourage this for parents so that kids can be educated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay so let's be real here. It's a pretty great kids game! It's nicely animated too! Though it's also weirdly scary in a way that makes it super entertaining to show to adults. The way the siblings transform and follow you everywhere gets a little horrifying when you think about it too much. There's a lot of ironic fun potential here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Big Thinkers Kindergarten, developed by Humongous Entertainment and re-released by Nightdive Studios, stands as a nostalgic relic from the golden age of 1990s edutainment software. It features the enthusiastic duo Ben and Becky Brightly, sibling mascots who guide young learners through a series of interactive activities designed to teach essential kindergarten-level skills. Like many of Humongous Entertainment’s titles, the game emphasizes engagement and discovery through humor, animation, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember as a kid, I had a demo disc of this game, only a few minigames were playable but I remember playing the hide and seek and maze games a lot. There's no real reason to play it now that I'm an adult aside from nostalgia but if I ever have kids I can see myself showing them this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this game would be easy, because you know, but it's honestly a complex puzzle that blew my mind. I spent countless hours analyzing each area and picture and after just a few hours, I gave up because it was too hard. I appreciate developers that aren't afraid to push the boundaries of difficulty in point-to-click games such as this. I would buy this 10x if I could. Thank you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this for my daughter, she did not enjoy it even slightly and neither did i.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The title does not have support for modern PCs and defaults to a stretched resolution which is jarring to play, even for a younger audience. Switching to windowed mode makes the graphics sharper but the game screen is so tiny and hurts your eyes. This is better off ported onto a mobile device to better reach their intended audiences.

Of course, they bribe you to continue playing through Star rewards, and you need a bunch of them in different colors play the final mini-game and get your certificate of being as smart as a kindergartner.
