You are an intern at the central ministry of a totalitarian state with your whole career ahead of you. Work your way up the ladder by scheming against employees, spying on your boss, and completing paperwork. Or do you turn against the state and expose corruption. The choice is still yours to make! Once I learned about the auto-mapping feature added to the first game, I really enjoyed it. I get losted super easy and the spider room nuked my first game party.

Launching Eye of the Beholder 2 (IBM PC/Amiga/PC-98, not FM Towns) then can read saves from of the first game and import it regardless of native platform.
unlabelledView post →the very first RPG video game I ever played was Eye of the Beholder 2 Legend of Darkmoon on PC. unless you count Zelda 2 on the NES. So I guess it's up to you.

unlabelledView post →Finished Beholder 2 & started Beholder 3 today. I'm really enjoying this series & the fact that each game is only ~13 hours long. It is SO hard to get the good endings though. I got a good ending on 1 but only on easy mode. I did not get a good ending on 2.
unlabelledView post →There’s a game called The Beholder 2 about being the landlord of a state apartment block under heavy surveillance. An artist known as The Stupendium made a song about it called “No One’s Home” and a line they wrote sticks with me; “Why are you crying when it’s your blind eye that’s liable?”
unlabelledView post →This is why I love sequels like Doom 2 or Eye of the Beholder 2. It's the same game, but new content. I really think if you made a good game, you should try to stick to it and make more content. But I will never make such a sequel to my game, Blockade Runner (algi.itch.io/blockade-run...). But why?
unlabelledView post →Looking for a good game that honestly is reflective about all that is going on? Beholder 2. It’s so damn good and definitely a game that reflects all that is going on.
unlabelledView post →Eye of the Beholder 2 is my earliest 'modern' game, (that I can remember), which makes me feel a bit better about only completing it a few years ago. 😆
unlabelledView post →I just learned the composer of Eye of the Beholder 2 was Frank Klepacki. That game was such a perfect storm.
