60 of 192 · most liked firstSeems like it could be fun, but it's broken right now. Most quests/task can't be finished. Will update if it ever gets fixed. Pretty rude to include a broken game in a humble bundle. Edit: I got banned from the publisher Discord, HeroCraft PC, because I was critical of their assertion that they are not in any way responsible for the products they publish. Steer clear of HeroCraft PC, they have no standards and will silence criticism. I got kicked specifically when I asked if they still get…

I had a few left over from the last giveaway, and I threw a small mystery bundle in while I was picking up some Warhammer 40k games. Rogue Trader and Mechanicus are so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. --- **To enter, link me your favorite mind-bending or existentially horrifying short story and name the game you want. First come, first serve. I try to keep the list updated as games are claimed**…

This was a title and developer that had a lot of promise. NEVER BUY THIS GAME OR ANY GAME BY THIS DEV! Waste of money and over 40 hours I can not get back.

DON'T BUY THIS! 1) The broken (super-fast) timer prevents you from completing even the FIRST (!) task (the developer has ignored this issue for over a year!). 2) Localization errors. 3) When loading a save, the amount of ore (your primary resource) becomes zero. 4) When loading a save, universal tools no longer give a minus 1 to woodcarving skill. This penalty also disappears from their description. And this is literally the FIRST FEW MINUTES of the game! I dread to think what will…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Devs released 1.0 without fixing the biggest game breaking bug and that's the people get stuck and then you no longer get customers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bugs reported 2024 not fixed 2026 do i have to say more?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandon ware. You can't technically reach the end game unless you get lucky cos half the time important tools or items bug out. Its such a shame cos it had a decent story.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great example of how easy it is to flush all your potential down the toilet. This game still has a lot of game-breaking bugs, and no one is going to fix them. And that is sad, because the game is actually pretty good. But it is unplayable in its current state. And guess what? Now they are going to launch this unpolished "gem" on PlayStation instead of fixing at least some of the bugs. I don't know about you, but I would never buy from this company again. How can you, when they would rather…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lacking in polish. You need fame to upgrade your forge. How do you get fame? By making your house look pretty. The room system is also kind of ass. Why does the bedroom need a table and chair? They don't even use them! I also have no idea why an ore delivery fills up the storage chest in my mine instead of the chest next to my forge. So now the miner has to, slowly, carry the ore up to the forge instead of depositing it into the mine box. Some quests are also bugged in that they have super…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Abandonware, parts of the game are clearly unfinished. Bless the community manager for still responding, but the devs have moved on to whatever their next project is, which doesnt inspire confidence. - Anything regarding the perk room and perk stations - For ♥♥♥♥'s sake why does 'cook' and 'eat' require 2 separate orders - Clunky building mechanics and hitboxes - Janky praying animation, characters often appear to stand idly when actually praying - Carving tools arent implemented yet - No…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea but annoying gameplay most of the time. You get crushed by side quests and you have no time to run your daily shop. (The cam is always switching to that position) Also the mechanic with the fracions are kinda strange. You can't make a decision if you want to help the customer or refuse because behind him is someone of the opposite fraction, that may cost the mission/fame. I was a bit slow in fame to receive the wood for further main quests and that felt a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →in its current state i do not recommend it, its an amazing game, but there are bugs left and right, from as simple as just a visual issue to something as major as your quest timer is 2 seconds, im no longer playing this game until i get another update. edit: after looking more into it, this looks like a case of the devs having way too many games they are working on so they decide to do a fix on games that need it (games that are making the most money) and then spend time on the other games if…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is overall a fun game, but after 10 hours on it it becomes rather repetitive and more importantly it is very unpolished with lots of bugs that make the player experience quite poor.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great little game plagued with lots of surface level bugs. two years old and the publisher & dev have been replying to bug reports with "we're looking into it but havent gotten around to it" some late game upgrades straight up dont work interface gets stuck between menus saves occasionally break and reset resources to 0 etc it's 89% of the way there, but abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really liked this game at first. To many bugs and not many fixes coming out for them. Recently learned that the devs have moved onto new things and essentially abandoned the game. You had a real good thing going but no new content and no bug fixes ruins the game for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately, many bugs, achievements are bugged. The game is a bit stretched to make feel the game bigger/longer than it actually is.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anvil Saga is the type of game that I and lots of people really want to love, but never have I saw a game so riddled with bugs like this, after months without playing, I came back to it, and now even the timer for the first and second quest are bugged to the point we cant even complete them. Good Luck for u guys on future endeavors. This is a great game, with great concept, great art but terrible because of so many bugs.

unlabelledView post →Now the game has been released in 1.0, decided to give it a try - not worth your time. The priority system isnt properly implemented so even when you mark the quest orders as low, they are still prioritised - This menas you have no way to make money or speed up progress except for slogging through orders that provide no money, with high amounts of work needed in the early game! I lost 10 orders because of this after an hour thinking I might be the issue. Do not buy until the devs have fixed it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gamebreaking bugs still not fixed after many years
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd love to recommend Anvil Saga, I really do as it is a great concept with a great game-play loop. However, this game has been abandoned by the developer, so no patches or bug-fixes are coming for now. Some planned/promised content will never come and thus I cannot recommend this game, especially for the current asking price. I've enjoyed playing it when it was still EA, but well....it is abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is compelling, but lots of bugs, including loss of your save. I was surprised to see a pixel-graphics-based game offer me "Low" suggested settings when I run with an AMD 7 7800X3D (8 physical cores @4.2GHz) 64GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 7800 48GB RAM video card. I bumped the settings up to High, but was met with awful stuttering and bad frame rate. I dropped it back down to "Low" and played about 8 hours on the story mode. Gameplay is a fun sim-based colony manager where you have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Potential for a truly great smithy management sim but marred by critical issues, abandoned by devs - and the whole faction system only exists to frustrate and inconvenience you with nonesense penalties.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this in early access in 2022. Well it's 2025 and it's not really improved. Buggy, bad translations. Was looking up a bug and it brought me to a Steam discussions thread where multiple people were reporting this bug for over a year and the dev just kept posting generic friendly "haha, we're busy with other projects, pls send us ur save file" replies. Maybe you should learn to finish one thing before starting another.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Quest timers are broken. They are an integral part of the game which now makes it unplayable, they've been this way for months now with no sign of a fix or even acknowledgement.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as it pains me, the gave deserves a bad review. Too many bugs that simply ruins the experience. The customer order rearrangements sometimes doesn't work, it wasn't allowing me to complete a mission when I did everything that it asked of me (I just needed to puchase a wood carving workbench... I did... after wasting too much time, I purchased another and then, somehow...), sometimes the quests completed too early without having created all the items and on and on... And besides that,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really want to love this game. Theres 2 things that annoy me. Tools consistently bug out and dont apply stat bonuses so they end up just being a waste of money and cost you wins at the fair. Second is the game automatically deletes your saves every 5 days. For example, if you were to save on day 38, and get to day 40, that day 38 save will be deleted all together and if you want to reload youll have to start at day 35. This makes retrying the fair extremely tedious seeing as how if you reload…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay loop is fine, it could be nice and relaxing but every 2 mins there's someone coming to my shop for some event. While I'm mining, while I'm smithing, while I'm sleeping, there's always someone coming over (and on more than a few occasions 2 at once). If there is a ways that I missed to slow these events (I don't necessarily want to turn them off completely) then I would be much more pleased with the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked it at first, but the shallow upgrade system, one-note gameplay, the lack of balance, the tedium all built up to the point where I couldn't be bothered to replay from about 2/3 of the way through the game to get the different endings. Oh, and the bugs. The bugs made the game really frustrating at various points. The translation isn't exactly perfect either. To be honest, I had more fun watching the Splattercat gameplay than actually playing this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not bad enough to request a refund, but not good enough to recommend either, which probably explains the mixed reviews... Seemed promising but it turns out the micromanagement is horrendous, the controls dire and if you mess up you can't just quit without saving, so you either have to put up with it (if you can, if it's possible) - or start over from scratch - and (unless you sandbox) endure the unskippable intro. Yeeesh The game is basically, to get rich and famous crafting. It's all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's fun to be had here, but that comes with a lot of bugs and frustrations that I'm guessing will never be fixed. A big one is the game giving you incorrect information. For example, you will see reputation changes above customer heads, but that doesn't actually mean anything as far as I can tell, and the reputation screen doesn't change in accordance to it. If you catch it for 75% off, then go for it, otherwise there's not enough quality or game here to justify the price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found out about this game on event that had demo. I played it and liked. Once it was released I played it and had a very nasty bug that stopped my progression. I decided to give devs some time to fix it. After 3 years I came back to play it. Game is playable but still not comfortable due to bugs. You would believe that by this time obvious bugs be fixed? No they are not and it seems that devs abandoned this game. Bug of priority of completing orders that dont change and you just fail to do it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have really enjoyed this game in the early access. Especially the sandbox mode. I think the mechanics of the game are great and I really wish I could recommend this game, BUT it's extremely buggy to the point of soft locking your game, there are cases where events are not to possible to be done if the order is unlucky and the devs abandoned it all together. If at some point by some miracle they fix all these issues then i would recommend you getting the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Save yourself the time. 3 hours in and I finally hit the brick wall of bugs and horrible design. On the day 20 duel, your points will just disappear when completing orders. I watched as I completed a 6 point order to see my points drop by 6 just to immediately jump back up by 6, meaning I got effectively 0 points and lost resources. I've sat here retrying this duel 5 times now, and there's just no getting past it. Even with the bug, you'd still be able to scrape out a win if the devs hadn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game used to be fun but it's become a slow version of quick time events and if you don't do all of them, you lose.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's end game bug that ruins the flow of the game. Buggy Lumberjack. You need lumber and the only way to get free lumber is to hire the lumberjack, but apparently the devs haven't fixed it since 2024. :( Lumber is too expensive to buy!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended with the caveat that I enjoyed playing for the first 8 or so hours. You'll have to decide if that amount of time is worth the cost. Gameplay loop is quite fun and graphics are satisfying. End game is a little messy, and judging by the comments, this is abandonware now. Funny pop culture references and generally high quality game development save for some trashy quality of life mechanics such as: - Workers sometimes just forget what they are doing and sit idle until you prompt…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played sandbox on easy mode. Game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the moment you finish upgrading the stall. There aren't enough rooms that you can build. You can build storage but after all you have to demolish it since you need another employee or workshop. Many room types but not enough space to build them or do any type of management. Reputation system is somewhat refreshing in such game and makes things a little less boring and a little more stressful. Game has serious design issues tied to progression and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Want to recommend the game as it was fun while i was playing it but each time i try playing through the story i end up getting a bug that makes it impossible to play. The latest one was that i couldn't close my stall so customers endlessly lined up night and day tanking my reputation and failing many of my quests making it impossible to finish the game. Happened twice. I uninstalled. If they can iron out the bugs i would recommend it but as is i can't, sadly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm enjoying the game itself a lot, but it sometimes saves, sometimes it doesn't, and I've replayed a lot of content. Not sure what causes it to work sometimes... pretty annoying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mostly fine, although nothing too deep. What's dragging it down is the overreliance on popculture references. The devs throw them at you at all times, very, very frequently, with no way to ignore. It's way too much, seriously. I like my games immersive - this not only is not immersive, but is anti-immersive. Also, there was some kind of a political comment on covid near the end. I can't remember what it was exactly. (My game time is in no way representative - I've got a bad habit of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anvil Saga - Smithing and management of workers. You manage your resources, workers and jobs that come through for the kingdom, upgrade and design your own house and mines. While the game was definitely a great time I spent playing, I had a bug that soft locked me. It took some time for the dev to fix it. Overall, I'd say it's a decent game that has you smithing some random things for a kingdom where you make choices that will definitely have an impact in the story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though I wasn't really convinced that this game will be good enough, I decided to give it a try, so far I played through the whole story and I wanna keep playing, this game became an addiction, I don't know why I like it so much, but I just can't get enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I ended up with this game in a bundle, so I didn't pay full price for this. I'm kind of glad that I didn't. I was excited to play. The art style is adorable and I love games that give good dopamine hits, but the controls felt weirdly janky and the tutorial hardly feels like a tutorial? Nothing is explained very well. I was told to upgrade my stall for one of the quests, but nothing I did would allow me to upgrade and there was almost no info on what I was supposed to do short of having the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has so many bugs, one of which I found is game breaking. I am locked in Autumn.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was pretty fun. But about a year ago, a glitch was introduced after an update that results in quest timers counting down way too fast, functionally making it impossible to achieve them. It's been forever, and they still haven't fixed it. Seems live development has stalled. IDK.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's too frustrating. First you only a couple quests sparingly, and that's pretty chill, then suddenly you get four or five quests at once and you can't do them all and someone is going to be angry and even the sandbox mode is too stressful. The timers need to be longer for the easier modes. That's a huge stress factor. No matter how fast my guy works, I can't get to orders in a timely manner. I try to do the quests, but they make it impossible because they don't wait with quests involving…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lalaguna 12 May @ 7:55am Hello, Keith! Thank you for your interest in Anvil Saga. The Dev team has moved to another project, but they plan to do occasional bug fixes when they have time. As publisher, we are doing our best to support the game and it's community. What can u say about this ? 20€ for a game that is not finished and not bug free. I did enjoy the game overall but i brought it in sale and played it over time but if u get it now for full price i cant recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's just something about the game loop here that has the exact right amount of "just one more thing" to it that has me feeling a wee bit addicted. The narrative is nice, and the side quests and silly cameos are great for a chuckle or two. Honestly, I love these types of management games where there's just enough to do to keep you busy, but not too much that the experience is overwhelming.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not buy!!! has major bugs and developer has abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun! It is fun to dive into every now and again but I always find myself stopping after an hour or so. It has a lot going for it but it still needs something more and I just cant put my finger on it, maybe more upgrading or more depth. But well worth the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still Early Access Filled with small and mayor bugs, from invisible furniture, to worker rooster overflowing over the menus, to tools having no status, to workers stuck walking into walls, and so on. No quality of life what so ever: -If you'd like to get furniture from a room to another have fun clicking construction menu>furnish room>select furniture>move item for every furniture piece (yes, you have to click all this from the start for each one). -You cannot store furniture away in case all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was fun for the first few hours, but as the game progress game becomes boring and the main problem is there is not enough content and content there is has stayed the same throughout all playthrough
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I very much enjoy this game there's a reason I've never finished it, and it's the giant lack of quality of life features. Everything requires you open the menu and press a specific button to make it happen, and hotkeys other than speed are non-existent. You will miss orders because your miner didn't drop off the bag of minerals before swapping tasks, and is walking at 40% speed. You will tell your units to go cook (and eat) but unless they are at the hungry threshold they will cook and…
