As a teenager, he wrote for Rolling Stone about the likes of Led Zeppelin, the Allman Brothers and David Bowie, inspiring his 2000 film, “Almost Famous.” Crowe tells stories from his 50-year career on “The Interview.” nyti.ms/4gqWlHp

Tom Waits is in it too?"

unlabelledView post →Almost Famous is 25 years old. That's mind boggling. Do all these woven strands of disparate musical and acting performances create the tapestry of the greatest coming of age film ever? Possibly? Either way, Swill Merchants would be a great band name. #letterboxdfriday #filmsky boxd.it/bkbshz
