About Time
The night after another unsatisfactory New Year's party, Tim's father reveals to him that the men in their family have the ability to travel through time. They can't change history, but they can change what happens and has happened in their own lives. Thus begins the start of a lesson in learning to appreciate life itself as it is, as it comes, and most importantly, the people living alongside us. From TMDB

47 of 47 · most liked firstin the movie ABOUT TIME, Bill Nighy portrays a man with the ability to travel back into his own past, which he uses to bum around and read a million books (“I’ve read the complete works of Dickens three times!”) and that is absolutely how I would use time travel.

If you are a crusty cynic/don’t like movies about love and family, stay away. Everyone else, get out your Kleenex. #moviesky #movies #filmsky

unlabelledView post →'About Time' is a film that managed to avoid discourse about how deeply creepy it by being so goddamn boring that anyone who watches it is beaten into sleepy submission.

unlabelledView post →I'm a huge time travel movie fan and was delighted with the fun farce "Time Travel is Dangerous". Very inventive for its limited budget. It would make a good pairing with a film like "FAQs About Time Travel" or "Dave Made a Maze".
unlabelledView post →I don't know why they keep making AMITYVILLE movies when the series peaked with AMITYVILLE 1992: IT'S ABOUT TIME.

To coincide with #TheMonkey, we're checking out AMITYVILLE: IT’S ABOUT TIME, the "haunted clock" entry of the Amityville "series" and this one is a hoot. C/W: the dog dies

unlabelledView post →Story 3: First date, cinema, at about 16, I am a gentleman and let her pick the film. She selects the dubious fluff Richard Curtis Rom Com About Time. About Time, for those unaware, is about a man using his time travel powers to gaslight Rachel McAdams into loving him.

positive · AI labelView post →I watched #AboutTime last night for the first time. It's a bit of a hot mess, isn't it? I will say it didn't go in any of the directions I was sort of expecting it to, which was nice, but there was a lot about the #film that I found kind of icky, I guess?
unlabelledView post →kind of a dumb movie. he has the ability to time travel for his life but he doesnt do anything worth seeing. they also make a bad looking couple too. im not sure what this movie is suppose to be about because there isnt much of a storyline at all. and he uses his time travel to fix the dumbest stuff. not even worth watching in my opinion.
negative · AI labelView post →My wife was literally tearing up just from me telling her about this movie. It was that good! A Delightful, sweet, and optimistic film with an uplifting focus on cherishing time with people we love and valuing family. It’s rare to find a movie that depicts a healthy, caring relationship between family members, so I enjoyed seeing support rather than drama. Expanding the focus of love beyond the main couple to their friends and family is not typical of a romantic comedy but welcomed and…
positive · AI labelView post →Cute and fun, with great cast and performances and nice English humor. Just, it is too good, too neat ... but a good movie for getting out of the theater with optimism and faith in life.
