Before I say anything, make sure to play the game on Master or Legend difficulty. Only QWERTY keyboard layouts are supported and not all key commands you can change, making it more controller friendly. Without that it is a really straight forward beat 'em up game with a roughly 3-4 hour storyline that is replayable. It's the first brawler she's ever been interested in (said it looks cool on the store page)., so I bought it for us to experience together. After our first evening playing 9 Monkeys of Shaolin she's already found a new role in her imaginative selection of alter egos: a butt-kicking monk princess with abundance of style, bravery and technique. I think that's pretty cool. =)

Has a simple but well presented story, good gameplay and progression (unlocking new skills and moves keeps the game fresh during the campaign). It is relatively short, but you may want to replay the game again on higher difficulty levels as the fighting is quite addictive, especially thanks to a good use of physics (rag doll enemies and other objects fly everywhere during combat).
