60 of 106 · most liked firstNot recommended for 100% achievement hunters Achivement hunters read the next paragraph. For rest of review, it's further down. This first part of the review discusses just one aspect, and is responsible for my negative review. Buying and playing for the achievements to make a perfect game. In the previous games in the series the achievements have always been simple enough to get, there was just one tough one "beat the devs". You have to beat the devs score on 10 levels out of the 50 (or 55…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short version: 86% The sixth 12 Labours of Hercules game finally drops all pretence and just targets the series veterans. It may scare away those who look for a casual experience, but players who want some challenge in a time management game will love it. Long version: I hope you are a long-time player of the 12 Labours of Hercules series, because Race for Olympus—and this review—targets this particular demographic. If I want to describe this game in short, then it feels like as if the series…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So the 12 labours of hercules series are fun for sure However, asking you to beat developer's record EVERY LEVEL is just TOO much. You have to replay every level like 4-5 times and if you lose focus for 3 seconds oops try again! You might say why did you buy this game then? It was part of the cheap bundle that had other games so I will idle it for cards Will pass on this one
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good to see another installment. This series still remains one of the most polished time management games on steam. Highly recommended when you're up for either a challenge or some relaxation. Do check out earlier games in the series as well. Thumbs up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think they finally have this series operating like a well oiled machine. The mechanics and flow have greatly improved since the 1st in this series. There are new bonuses, like the unlimited workers bonus (which has been quite handy). There are a couple new achievements such as the beat all the dev records (I'm not that hardcore). This series continues to be a fun time management game that can be played by everyone from the casual to the hardcore gamer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All the 12 Labours of Hercules games (which are 8 as of 2019) follow the exact same pattern, apart from some slight variations in the very first title. So it is extremely pointless to make thorough reviews, since I have already reviewed the first three chapters in a longer and exhaustive way. This is an awesome time management game in which you'll have to collect three kinds of resources (gold, wood and food) and use them in order to send your workers or your heroes to do every available task -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For achievement hunters: This one is also like the previous games except few new things introduced like unlimited labour bonus tools etc. However, the logic is same! But the hardest part is beating all developer records achievement and that is really really difficult until you are not able to figure out the shortest path / way. So, be patient and first try in casual mode to figure out the process; you can also check the in-game guide to know how the work follow should move on. Yes, take it as a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developers overrated the replay value of this game. It is the 6th instance of a game that, all in all, is more of the same, and yet, they want you playing over and over again in order to beat their time. No, unfortunatelly this game is not worth that much time even though it is fun. I also need to mention the great work they did with the soundtrack, really beautiful tunes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly, I think this series goes the wrong way. The first ones were fun, I abandoned the last one. Complicated levels, lack of overview, heck I even had to made a forum post being stuck since there was a "hidden" path that you were forced to go on. I waved it off as maybe being fatigue of the series, so after a large pause this game was released and I picked it up for 50 cents. Sadly, it seems that it wasn't fatigue. While the earlier games kept down to the ground, the rather insanely…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game to spend some time. Like the other 12 Labours of Hercules games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very solid, casual game experience. High quality music, sound effects, graphical effects, and graphical animations. Lot of extras, like desktop background, meta-games, and extra level challenges. I am just starting the game, but if I am reading the world map correctly, then there is a huge number of levels to play. This "expert mode" is legitimately difficult here. Need to be thinking ahead and clicking non-stop to get the top-grade. This does not prevent level advancement, however, so these…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've made it this far, to game number six in the series I mean, then I doubt I can tell you anything you don't already know. And as I've said before, runs on XP, good for gamers with older systems (which was me until November), has cards, but this time around, my dear achievement hunters, the achievements are NOT easy. Specifically the "Beat all Developer's Records!" This will take some time, perhaps too much time for the average hunter. Sadly, since I've started the game already, I've…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've played any of the other "12 Labours of Hercules" games then you know exactly what you're getting here. They introduce a few new environments, which are cool. Most of the mecanics are the same or similar to the other installments in the franchise. And, of course, it comes with the puzzles and castle pieces for completing levels in gold time, as well as the "H" tiles hidden on the maps. What else can I say? If you like the franchise, you'll like this. I certainly enjoyed it. For…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to write another positive review here, but the " Beat all Developer's Records! " achievement just kills the casual fun out of it and makes it into a stressful. I really like the winter setting, but they removed Boss fights and added an achievement to Beat all Developer's Records! :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Repetitive and bs achievements </3
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are a completionist get any one of the other 12 labours of Hercules games. This one requires you to beat the developper's record on all levels instead of 10 or 20.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is another great buy for people who like casual point and click games. The are plenty of levels, a nice little story, and the game runs smooth. I would say that this game is worth full price, and is an awsome deal when on sale. 9 out of 10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent Game. The King of Time-Management rolls on!! Fun challenging levels and the outstanding music will keep your headphones on. Great job devs. Hope there is a VII :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't understand why people are complaining about beating all the developer's records. If you read thorugh the guide on left down corner on each map, combing with the skills, it is not that hard at all. The gmae requires you to think and use time wisely. It is fun and challenging. I enjoy it a lot.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well... Same old, same old. This is a Time management game that becomes a click-fast everything. The graphics are decent. The music is OK. No bugs or crashes. Overall, somewhat entertaining. I think is the easiest part so far. Nothing original, same old. The only novelty is to make the achievements absurd. I don't care too much about those, but this series used to have a casual vibe, and getting a complete game was not that hard and kinda satisfactory. That is gone, but nothing came to be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've seen level where day become night and that is new ! I hope there is more levels like that ! :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm stuggling beating all the dev's times. I have a limited time to play due to raising kids and the other games in the series once I managed to beat 10 I was fine and happy to move on. This is driving me nuts. So I'm not a hard core achievement hunter but I do enjoy getting them so I will stick this out and see what 7 brings. But at this rate it won't be until Christmas!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Exactly what I needed. Having played the previous installments, It really is no better or worse than what I expected, it's just what I need to unwind
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In previous episodes there are 2 achievements for beating the devs score; x1 and x10 levels. The x1 is do-able but x10 is pushing it. Now there's an achievement for ALL levels !!! Totally over the top!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Borderline thumbs down Same game structure as previous episodes but the achievements are getting worse. In previous episodes there are 2 achievements for beating the devs score; x1 and x10 levels. The x1 is do-able but x10 is pushing it. Now there's an achievement for ALL levels !!! Totally over the top!!! I play these sorts of games to relax and I'm generally ok with re-doing some levels again for a challenge. I detest having to replay the same level over and over and over – tedious and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The rest of this series are good chill casual games. Once you finish, you can clear out the remaining achievements in an hour or two at most. This one adds a time-consuming, tedious achievement that requires replaying most of the levels repeatedly, for no clear reason. If you don't care about achievements, this is pretty much the same as the rest of the series. If you do, hope you like painful boring grinds.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very good game and not fast. Very funny game. You can do the achievements. But you have to play with it for a long time to do all. And you can get trading cards. I like this game because when I was child I always play a few games like this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally, a real sequel When I bought the very first game in this series, I was addicted to the gameplay, and hoped it would borrow the basic sequel style other casual games, like the Delicious Emily series, adopted - keep the basic gameplay style and some of the sprites, change the story, levels, powerups, make minor tweaks to the gameplay, change the music (since you're using royalty-free tunes regardless). What actually happened is that the exact same game was re-released over and over and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This delightful franchise is a swell time management game, relaxing and fun to play. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →12 Labours of Hercules VI: Race for Olympus, developed by Jetdogs Studios and Zoom Out Games and published by Jetdogs Studios, continues the long-running series’ signature blend of time management, resource collection, and light puzzle-solving. This installment places Hercules and Megara on a mythic journey that begins with a mystery: Zeus has vanished, and chaos threatens to unravel Olympus itself. The narrative, though simple, serves as an enjoyable framework for a new set of levels filled…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game completely ruins the series. Sad really
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The following review applies to all games from the "12 Labours of Hercules" series. Even though they have different themes, they all have the same gameplay style and overall quality. The "12 Labours of Hercules" series has extremely captivating resource-management games, with beautiful and enjoyable graphics, sound effects and soundtrack. Even though they are casual games, they offer some challenge if played in difficult mode. The achievements are relatively easy to get - by the time you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very fun, casual and entertaining game. Good for relaxing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game with lengthy game play and the adjustable difficulty makes it great for kids or adults.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another fantastic installation to the 12 Labours of Hercules series, by now we're used to the excellent content Jetdogs studios provides. In this one, you'll be inviestigating the vanishing of Zeus! If you're new to the series I totally recommend checking the earlier games in the series so you can catch up, it'll be absolutely worth it, there's a ton of amazing and funny puzzles to solve.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →12 Labours of Hercules Vi: Race for Olympus is the sixth in the 12 Labours resource/time management strategy game series by Jetdogs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played a lot of time management games over the years. All of the games from 1 to 8 in this series are my favorites. I revisit them all at least once a year. It's great that they give you the option to play 3 different types of difficulty, so if you just want a relaxed playthrough, you can do that. It's strange that the price went up so high with the following games. Maybe they are under new management? Anyway, if the price for the newer games ever gets low enough I'll give one or more of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5/10 More of the Same More of the same, but gets harder now. Some levels are more challenging to even achieve the Gold qualification. It is playable for short periods with breaks, playing for long stretches gets boring, something that the previous games didn't make me feel (all but one). Mais do Mesmo Mais do mesmo, só que agora mais difícil. Alguns níveis são mais desafiantes, até para conseguir a qualificação de Ouro. Pode-se jogar por curtos períodos com pausas, mas jogar durante muito…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first these games seemed fine, kind of relaxing for a short bit. But then I realized they sold the same game to me 7 times ...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game, got all previous versions and still falled in love of this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is basically the same game as the previous ones, based on the same principles. On the one hand, it is fun, enjoyable and there are no negative surprises, on the other hand there is nothing new expect the achievements - it is harder to get all of them. It depends on what you prefer. For me it was slightly less fun than previous games when I first played it, but on replay I really enjoyed some well-designed levels. And also found the most frustrating level of the series so far (1.10.) :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent casual game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →小朋友还蛮喜欢玩,打发时间最舒服,基本上全系列玩法都一样,难度超低,耗时,且玩法重复
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun like all other 12 Labourers of Hercules! Very recommended if you like this type of games, they are one of the best.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beat all Developer's Records! That alone deserves a negative.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where do i start?! I'd love to say this was just another 12 Labours game, same design, same lay-out, same ideas, and even though all that is true, its an achievement hunters NIGHTMARE! The only saving grace is that theres a slight bug which causes you to get the worlds hardest achievement, 6 developer record levels sooner than needed. That aside, the minor changes with the game are nice, but it's the same as the rest, still fun as ever, but 60+ hours for a game of this kind, they've gone a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this whole series of games and finished all of them. It's usually a challenging experience to get all the extra achievements and it can get really hectic for some three star ratings. Time management games need a lot of charm to be compelling enough. This one does, giving us a goofey greek mythology based story and some mythological allies. You need to like this particular genre to like anything about the game, but if you do, you're not going wrong with the Labors of Hercules. This is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As other said, this is most challenging in the series. 9/10 for this time-management niche They put more effort in the handdrawing... [url=http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1292933351]An example. Thankfully, they finally didn't bother much with the corny poems, lol... I'm prolly not the target audience, but I still enjoyed it. I could play it while sitting back & working out equations of the universe in my mind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love "12 Labours of Hercules" series, but this part it was unexpected for achievement hunters
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice to play. It's a way to relax helping heroes from Ancient Greek's Mythology. Interesting idea, but the gameplay is kind of repetitve. The tasks are not so challenging and it becomes boring after a while. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this 12 Labours of Hercules very much. Whenever I see a new one on the store, I buy it immediately, because I know I'll be able to spend a few relaxing days with it. It's the sixth in the series, and if you've played any of the others, it's pretty much the same thing. There are some really pretty levels in this one, and the music is beautiful. I also appreciate that you never hear one music track too much. I'm also glad that they've gotten rid of the thieves completely in this one; I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's 12 Labours, itf you've folowed or enoyed the series, this latest installment does ot fail to continue the line. Certainy worth having and continues the traditional gameplay. very satisfying if you like this series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's another Hercules game. If you like one of them, you'll like them all, because there aren't any drastic differences from one to the next. They're colorful, involve a lot of clicking, and sometimes some thought if you want gold on every level, but they're also perfect for when you just have a few minutes to spend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game like the rest in the series, no more thieves but extra challenges instead. The previous Hercules games had beat the developers score 10 times and I could manage to get those, but this one is beat ALL the developers records I can say for sure this will be the one in the series I will not get all the achievements (2 will remain unfinished that and Earn every achievement). Oh well I still enjoy the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perfect game for casual gamers. Already enjoyed the previous installments of this series; the developers always improved the mechanics in their game. There`s nothing negative i can think of ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worst one in the series so far, doing same levels over and over is painful.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very similar to the prior games as far as tasks are concerned, with some achievements harder than before. No thieves in this release, but also higher strategy. Recommended, but perhaps not for the novices of the series.
