negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I originally gave this game a positive review... but I am tired of it randomly crashing out to Windows. I almost never have this problem with any other game. This is something I would expect from a game lets say from 2001... not 2015.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy this game. The game is a lot of fun (and very challenging in single player), but it does not work on modern systems. On both Intel and AMD processors, there tons of reports of crashing, freezing, and other intermittent issues after a random amount of game time. The problem has to do with the number of cores available to the game, and 'fixes' require a lot of trial-and-error and likely a third-party app if you are on AMD. The same issue exists with Zombie Army 4 with similar…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →addictive great game, I recommend it, beautiful headshots, atmospheric locations)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a lot of fun when I first got this years ago, and was able to have a decent amount of fun as the bullet cam and horde element made the game engaging. However, I can't recommend this anymore because the game itself is completely unplayable in 2026. The game will randomly freeze up when loading into a level, locking the game to an infinite black screen or a frozen frame at the very beginning of the match. I've tried every fix (fan patches, limiting frames, changing GPU cores) and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool and easy game to play with your friends. It's not a hard game, you can easily beat it on any mod. Also easy to get 100% achievement collection. 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is good, but considering that I can't play it, only bc I have a 12 core processor is frustrating, I've tried to fix it, but there was nothing I could do
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's definitely fun with friends, but so is everything. What it isn't however is not worth the asking price whatsoever, as it has no place being 40 DOLLARS. 11 year old game, still full priced. Either get it on sale or get a key.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this game I really do but it just doesn't work on modern hardware. First mission it crashed every single time on the first cutscene - so I went online to see if there's a fix. There was. Got past the cutscene played a bit and all seemed well.. only for it to crash in the next 20 minutes anyway. I've tried stability mods etc but no avail. Such a shame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: Only buy if you have friends. This game lives and dies by co-op. With friends? I guess it's a decent mindless zombie massacre that can kill an evening. Solo? It's a repetitive slog that made me regret my purchase within an hour. I can't recommend this unless you have a dedicated squad ready to go. If you're planning to play alone like I did, save your money. Watch some gameplay first to see if this is your thing. Honestly I dunno what possessed me to buy it back then, even on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as I love this game, I would only recommend this game with friends, I learned it the hard way when playing in solo, even on an easy difficulty, this game is made to be played with friends, there's not even a single bot that can assist you so you're pretty much on your own if you decide to play solo
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short review: A pretty decent game, buy it at sale it is NOT worth 40 euros for sure. Ideally with friends, you might get bored alone. Long review: To talk about this game in detail I will compare it to a game it shares its roots with, Zombie Army 4. Lots of people leave reviews on Zombie Army 4 saying the Trilogy is better so i will do the same here but for Trilogy. I will prove how much better Zombie Army 4 is in basically EVERY single aspect. Gameplay/Combat: The game offers a pretty big…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game seems fun, but it's literally unplayable, the game freezes every 10 minutes or so ( sometimes as soon as you start a match ) I tried some community fixes but it didn't work for me and tbh, it ain't worth the time. If you have a bad/old hardware the game MIGHT work I believe, if not, just refund it. These devs don't deserve any money by selling a broken product.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played the other zombie army game and that was good imo, but I won't ever know if this is good as is crashes each time I load into a game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Started with a negative review. Changed to now to a positive review. You can play and beat the game solo but should be disclosed as to not look into it being a served experience when your starting, sticking with the easiest dificulties first or you ll "suffer" Other then that the game runs very smoothly, is very fun to play and still holds up decently in todays standard making it a great adition on a good discount
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would probably be fun, if I could get it to work. Newer systems are actually too good to play it, a lot of people have to bend over backwards disabling the number of cpus the game is allowed to use just to get it to run while older laptops can run it smoothly by virtue of not being as good. Tried all the advice on several forums and still doesn't work. Publishers have flat out said they don't intend to update the game to fix this issue either. The game (from 2015) is just too old. Mind you…

Definitely different vibe than Left4Dead 2, but offers something similar in different spin. Game looks very nice overall (animations, textures), except very poor coloring oc PC compared to video recordings (guides) online. Fog sometimes kills the vibe. Music is... a modern take on something that's supposed to be moody and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game crashes every time I try to play. I can't even understand is the game good or bad, because it freezes in first 1-2 minutes and that's all. But I found the solution. If play in a window mode instead of full screen mode then no problems will be triggered.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The actual games themselves are fine, not good but acceptable. I played them as a teenager and enjoyed them quite a lot. These games do especially suck to play alone, they're obviously made for multiplayer, but I absolutely despise talking to or socializing with other human beings (except for my friends and family and nice people I meet outside, they are all very cool and I appreciate them.). I'm giving this release a negative review because it simply does not function correctly on many…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My review is negative due to how unstable the game is on modern CPUs. If you have a 12th gen or newer, you won't be able to play and most guides with "affinity fixes" won't do much. The only actual solution for me was to make a Tiny10 VM to which I assigned 12GB of RAM (surely you can do less) and 8 cores, played surprisingly well at over 100+ fps on HIGH and ULTRA presets, almost seamless. Only needed 25GB of disk too. Aside from the above the game is solid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought the game a few days ago and it literally does not work on my pc as it freezes no matter what i try to do. I tried all the tutorials online like changing the CPU affinity and things like that but it always crashes during gameplay. Rebellion should really do something as it is a fun game to play but the constant freezes make it impossible to progress though levels and even play for more than 2 minutes at a time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine buying a game that you plan to play with your friend when you've the time due to conflicting working hours, then when you finally get to sit down and start it up, you'll crash for 39 minutes before initiating a refund because the game doesn't work if you purchased your desktop at the end of last year. I ain't buying an old desktop for this pile of trash, maybe the developers should put a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sticker on this page that if you buy this, you best have an absolute turd of a computer to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game does not work on newer computers. It constantly freezes and crashes. It will lock up your entire computer causing you to need to do a hard reset.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →awesome game reels always to precision playstyle no bs weapons or retarded bs like gadget and other modern ♥♥♥♥ • 🔥 Performance/Optimization/Stability 11/10 • Gameplay Enjoyment 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent shooter, essentially a copy of Left 4 Dead, but this time you'll be killing dead Germans. This installment combines the elements of games 1, 2, and 3, making it quite appealing. However, it has its drawbacks: unfortunately, the game only has one powerful weapon—the sniper rifle. Shotguns and machine guns are very weak, and the pistol, while decent, but doesn't last very long. My rating: ✭✭✭✭✰
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine Left4Dead but if you quit the game after reaching a safe room, that doesn't count as a checkpoint and you have to redo the last sequence.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just keeps crashing. I'm incredibly disappointed, because I've been dying to play these for years. Even with the "updated" versions, the game just won't run with any stability.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The atmosphere is great It's a shame the online is dead but solo is possible To me its the best ww2 zombie game And the game never crashed to me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →sadly i cannot recommend this game especially if you have newer hardware....it will just freeze for me out of nowhere and i have to log out and log back into windows for it to close. i love this series but Trilogy is hands down the worst when it comes to just working. the originals worked perfectly fine but this one which is newer just again freezes. Yes there are fixes but i am not disabling my cores just for this game to work smoothly.

unlabelledView post →As much of a fan I am of Zombie Army 4, I cannot recommend this game. The game has issues running on modern computers that are too big to ignore. I tried downloading patches, I tried recommended settings, nothing fixed it. I have spent days trying to find a way to fix it to no avail; it's honestly a shame. I'm not going to ask for a refund, I got this game for cheap. Steam needs to do something about these old games that don't work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely ridiculous how they charge 41,99 for nearly 11 year old game that doesnt even work with modern processors. Disgusting company. shame i didnt buy through steam so now i cant refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →@froshkiller.dev @jhb.bsky.social Zombie Army Trilogy is on sale for 4 bucks www.fanatical.com/en/game/zomb...
unlabelledView post →Fun and simple, easy to pick up and play. Some levels are reused ones from Sniper Elite V2, but they're dressed up enough to feel distinct. Surprisingly great synth soundtrack that sounds like it's straight out of an 80s horror B-movie. And continuing with B-movie parallels - devs knew that the whole premise is ridiculous, so the game doesn't take itself too seriously, which works pretty well. Good for pick up during the sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unplayable on modern pc in current state without mods or heavy troubleshooting. Known issue not addressed by developer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →💀 This game manages to create a tense atmosphere of pure horror. If you don't like being under constant pressure, you'll definitely find it challenging, if not downright exhausting. Playing solo isn't much fun, and since there's no health (a couple of hits), sudden deaths with return to checkpoints can be frustrating (this is what makes the enemies more terrifying than their appearance). The gameplay is slow-paced and requires concentration, but can contrast with sudden shootouts in closed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →steam deck review its verified game as its says it play fine no issues great game play great graphics and details its ok solo but better with friends i like it and i recommend it if your going to party play with your friends..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is fun. It's Sniper Elite's version of Left 4 Dead crossed with COD's Nazi Zombies. The problem and reason why I don't recommend this game is that Rebellion has basically left this in the past. It's a game from around 2015 with the very first chapter/part having been released in 2013. So you have essentially software still limited to 2015 era tech that refuses to cooperate with 2020's+ hardware. If you get this you'll have to continually find some kind of work around to prevent…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a story rich zombie game, turn towards the Last of Us or Days Gone. If you're looking for a game to play at night with friends for a couple of hours shooting Nazi Zombies, this is what you want. Pick it up when on sale, and you wont regret it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so ridiculous I can't even run it because my specs are too high I got the mod that supposedly fixes crashed i turned down the graphics setting the resolution everything nothing worked if you are running this good for you I can't run it for the life of me and honestly I blame the developers they could update this so quick and fix it but no they choose not to the multiplayer is good for 5 seconds before it crashes idk my play time but whatever it is I never actually got to play
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a pretty good time playing Zombie Army Trilogy solo. The shooting feels satisfying, especially when landing precise headshots and watching the game's slow-motion kill-cam. The atmosphere is also surprisingly effective, with dark environments and plenty of undead enemies creating a constant sense of tension. That said, the gameplay can become repetitive because you're often doing the same basic thing: finding a position and shooting waves of zombies. Zombie Army Trilogy is a…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought the Zombie Army Trilogy because it was ridiculously cheap, made by Rebellion, and looked like someone had pitched "What if Sniper Elite... but with zombies?" Honestly, I was sold before I even clicked "Add to Cart." The story never really convinced me, but I figured, "Who cares? Just give me some satisfying zombie sniping." Well... about that. For a game that revolves around shooting zombies in the head, it has a remarkable talent for pretending headshots never happened. More than…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zombie Army Trilogy is a selection of three relatively short games spun off from the Sniper Elite game franchise, where instead of just shooting nazis, you're shooting undead nazis. The games range from 2013-2015 publication dates making this effectively 11-13 years old, but carry full AAA pricing which is where we immediately run into problems. Now, the gameplay here is not bad, but is extremely repetitive... you have to like being the sniper in FPS games, but also hate PvP. But also this is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For 2015 game it haves everything : Good graphics ; Good zombies and Coop . This game is pretty hard but it haves everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having played a few games from the Sniper Elite series and then Strange Brigade, I thought this would be a tough nut that’s easy to crack. HELL NO! This game throws you into a world infested with zombies that have superpowers even a Left 4 Dead zombie would envy. Even though the shooting is satisfying, the game doesn't give you a second to breathe (unless you hit a safe room). You have to keep moving if you don't want to get picked off by a Super Elite or a Sniper, eaten by skeletons and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Getting this to run is a nightmare. The game is apparently not built with modern/high-end processors in mind, so if you don't clamp the amount of CPU cores used when running the game, it will crash within minutes. This issue was already happening with the stand-alone first game, and it is frankly unacceptable that they left it in this state for the re-release. I did manage to get the game running using the "Crash and freezing fix" mod, which you can find on NexusMods. However, I had to limit…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Call of Duty: Zombies shared it's aesthetic with Sniper Elite and added a sprinkle of Left 4 Dead for good measure. I think the full asking price is certainly excessive for what is essentially a horror-themed Sniper Elite V2. But on sale? This is a wonderful lil pickup! Definitely worth at least a playthrough, especially if you can get friends in on it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't talk about this last night because I was so blah but, I finally beat Zombie Army Trilogy (including replaying a couple levels to get missed collectables. That's game 14 beat.

unlabelledView post →ultimately I will say no to gatekeeping the third entry in this series behind 2 "upgraded/improved" versions of the original first 2 zombie army games. such an annoying practice that I haven't really seen anywhere else. only leads me to believe part 3 is a short and cheap excuse to just re release the first two parts in an updated engine.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First things first, this game will not run on modern cpus, you have to limit it to one core or it will crash. The game itself was fun, just like how I remember it when i played it on the ps4 years ago.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zombie Army Trilogy no longer feels like a sniper game. It feels much more like a Left 4 Dead-style horde shooter, where you run through the level, enter one mini-arena after another, kill everything and only then are allowed to continue. You can still stay at a distance and use the sniper rifle, but many of these areas simply do not give you enough space to properly play that way. The game constantly pushes you into close and medium-range fights, and the mission structure leaves very little…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game exceeded expectations. It's much less serious than Sniper Elite, and is an obvious engine/asset flip, but many missions have challenging encounters, require coordination in co-op, and puzzle solving besides just good aim. For 5€ on sale - a must buy for any Sniper Elite enjoyer. P.S. Add "-hz=144" parameter to enable high refresh rate. The game defaults to 60hz with no GUI to change that. FPS counter will happily show >60, verify the mode set with your display's HUD.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is awesome , feeling exciting when you put down each zombie, so I enjoy it so much . BUT, that's few years ago! AND, I don't enjoy it anymore now, Not playable. Game picture will freezing than crashes, jam finally after few minutes later, SO I Have to restart the computer after it freezes attempting to play this, Got to play it once, Still wasn't even any good, not working. DO not get this game right now or you will have bad experience.
