unlabelledView post →A neat adventure/escape room/novel kind of hybrid. It's similar to the developer's previous work Unmemory, but certainly more accessible and logical in its puzzles. Read text, click bold words to move between places or interact with the environment, and learn a bunch of novel little mechanics that make each puzzle unique, interacting with items, pictures, puzzles that make unique use of the text mechanics, etc. Where Unmemory was cool and ambitious but kind of overwhelming, Your House spins a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am usually not a fan of text-based games. Although I started gaming when there was nothing but text, I’ve gotten spoiled by high-end graphics and free exploration. Thus, I was not sure what to expect when I began Your House. The game starts off with reading a story on the screen. Throw in some intermittent pictures and it feels like an illustrated storybook. Your first challenge is when the character ‘RUNS’ and you have no idea what to do. I clicked and clicked and continued to fail. I was…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really cool spiritual successor to Device 6, Simogo's mystery text adventure on mobile. Your House has some really enjoyable moments of interactivity and gameplay, but ultimately the puzzles felt lackluster and boring, and the final chapter felt lazy, not to mention a puzzle involving diamond buttons fully broke on me, halting my progress. I wish the story was also told through playing the game and solving the puzzles, but instead much of the major story beats are told in cutscenes BETWEEN…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting concept of interacting with text to manipulate the environment, but other games like Beacon Pines have done it better with more intuitive controls. Limited replay value and forgettable character(s). I recommend waiting until at least a 50% off sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fairly mid puzzle game. A lot of the puzzles are somewhat obscured or half as difficult as they are because of having to deal with the text environment, which is fine upon first read, but tiring to navigate on subsequent ones. Had several instances of puzzles glitching out when giving the correct solution in chapters 4 and 5, leaving me to think I somehow had the wrong answer. A few of them stumped me, but not sure if it was because I was overthinking it or they were not logical, like from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a shame this game only has 16 reviews. The creativity with which it handles the limitations of the chosen medium (black text on a white page) is astounding and playful, the visuals transport a very specific and unique mood, the writing and themes are timely and smart. If you like escape-room-style puzzles, stories about strong personalities and 90s pop culture, this game is for you. One of my highlights of 2025 for sure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a great time with this game. While I admittedly needed to use the hint button a couple of times, many of the puzzles were challenging enough to be rewarding without being too difficult. Definitely a new and interesting chapter in interactive storytelling.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interactive mystery that blends storytelling, creative use of text, and puzzles into a seamless experience. The game follows Debbie, a young girl who receives a cryptic letter leading her to a secluded mansion. With nothing to lose, she jumps on her motorcycle, determined to unravel the mystery waiting behind its doors. But as she soon discovers, the house hides more than it appears- While at first glance, the might resemble to be something more, it’s actually a visual novel with a unique…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Your House is a nice little puzzle-adventure that reminds me most readily of Device 6, Simogo's mid-2010s text adventure for iOS. What I mean by this is simple: the game is primarily a text adventure that you interact with by clicking bolded "links" in the narrative text (you can see this in a few of the screenshots, though most emphasize the graphical scenes which also make up the game). I found the use of text art pretty cool at times, particularly in the narrowing passages of the underground…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR Version: Visual Novel (VN) Creators should get this game, it will inspire you on a technical level. Quiet, nineties-era American comic inspired art and colour, palette-cleansing 2-5 hour highly interactive VN that has some refreshing twists on the genre. Minimal music, minimal sound effects. Decently made, but puzzles will be frustrating for some as the logic is not always apparent and the hints are bad at times; also the mechanics are not entirely polished. Translation doesn't flow quite…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this for the puzzles, just not the story as I hoped it would surprise me. Nice range of difficulty and love how some felt natural and others out of the box. Beautiful art style also.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unenjoyable. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my time with this game at all. It didn’t start strong with a premise that I found unengaging, getting invited to a house that is full of mysteries and puzzles told mostly through cutscenes between the different chapters. I’ll say what I enjoyed first: the art style was pretty neat, and the premise of it all being in a book with the writing was clever and added some uniqueness; however, it did get quite annoying. When you had to navigate to different…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My Wife (she VA'd a character) and I played through this game in an afternoon and It was very fun! The puzzles were challenging, but not so challenging that we needed to look anything up outside of the game. I do wish that the tools carried over from chapter to chapter, so that each puzzle could build on the tools that you find in the other chapters, but it certainly doesn't take away from the fun of the game at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cozy little puzzle game with a unique format. I really enjoyed it. Much recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the first chapter and I already wanted to write this review from day 1 and tell everyone that this is an excellent game, but I did not want to rush my experience through the other chapters; and I can say this game is well worth it. The music, the atmosphere, the beautiful drawings and the puzzles, everything creates an incredible experience. For those of you that enjoy detective stories and I would say, literature in general, this is a must have. The story is engaging. From the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really a masterpiece. Puzzles are so elegant, and that moment you realize you're not in a visual novel, it's an actual puzzle game - magnificent. I'm personally a fan of 'negative space' usage and times when you need to think 'out of the box' - so simple yet so good. Didn't like the story as much as challenges and puzzle itself, but it's solid. (Maybe not the ending). QTEs are okay, overall the puzzle difficulty is 4 out of 10, but really smart in some ways. Not regretting buying…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the pop-art art style, but this is basically a book with pretty pictures. It is more text-based than picture-based. You find bold text to click; sometimes you can click on a picture too. It is a mobile game best played on a similar device. I can recommend, but know what you expect before you buy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →too buggy and full of escape room logic. the interactive text parts were neat but the rest leaves a lot to be desired.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10, a mediocre game of either puzzle or story. A novel way to combine the puzzle and text together - the only highlight of the game. Drawback list: 1. Technical problem: the adjustment to PC is far from good, especially for the parts needed continuous mice controlled move and interaction. 2. Common sense mistakes: please double check what the hour hand in real clock will do, and what the clock in your game shows; the middle C of piano locates at the first lower ledger lines of staff in real…

unlabelledView post →Interesting gameplay! Intriguing mystery and story! I think the only things I wanna "complain" about is: 1. There was a couple of times a puzzle "broke", and I was banging my head against the wall trying to solve a puzzle which now is unsolvable. The solution was to restart the game and it worked again. But I feel that is a pretty common thing to happen with point & click puzzles... 2. Debbie (the MC) really annoyed me at times. I can safely say I didn't wanted to solve the mystery…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although I found the game fairly interesting at first, with its text-based mechanics and intriguing story hook, I was mostly bored by the time I finished it. Neither the puzzles nor the story offered anything special. Exploring the house by clicking on words in the book and then watching a short animation quickly became repetitive and frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to love this. But it definitely needs to be tagged properly...this is interactive fiction. Yes, there are puzzles, but at least for me wasn't worth continuing through all the text/story. I also ran into a bug where it wouldn't let me get an item I needed. Graphics are very creative and well done. And perhaps the story is, too. If you want straight up interactive fiction, this is for you! If you're more wanting a puzzle game, look elsewhere.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some great puzzles and an interesting story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this was a cool short puzzle game. some of the puzzles were a little too hard for me, but i enjoyed the game nevertheless.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very creative puzzle game! It's very short (only took me 2 hours to complete) and was challenging at times but never too difficult. The puzzles were very satisfying to complete and the story was interesting and well-written. Recommended for those who like point-and-click and/or escape room puzzle games!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so cool and different to anything I've ever played before. I like how its written as a story. The puzzles are often brain breaking, but then like with watson to holmes "so plainly obvious!" once you find the solution. I feel its just the right length so it can be played in one sitting, and it doesnt feel like any of the narrative is just filler I loved the art style and voice acting was great too. I which more people would find this game!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting combination of interactive visual novel similar to the 2013 game The 39th Steps and a puzzle/adventure game. You can't simply press "next page," and the page isn't just a page of text, you read the novel by interacting with various tactile objects on screen and solve the puzzles presented to you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting little puzzle game, nothing groundbreaking but a fun time with an interesting narrative and the hand drawn graphics make it very visually interesting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Your House is a great game. I would describe it as a puzzle story game, meaning it's puzzle heavy and also has a great story that's easy to follow. I really enjoyed my almost 6 hours with it. The puzzles are fun, and though some require some out of the box thinking, they are all logical. The story is really engaging and I found myself playing to find out what happened next. I recommend this game for puzzle lovers!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interactive fiction is maybe the oldest type of game on PC - in this sense, YOUR HOUSE doesn't break new ground. Still, it does a good job of introducing how the interactions work, it has nice art to go along with the text and cutscenes and voice acting is very good. Besides the story bits, it is mainly a puzzle game. There are no ready-made mini-games to be found. There is no inventory per se, but some scenes require you to find an item you then use automatically. The puzzles make sense,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and creative point and click with some clever puzzles that incorporates it's chosen medium well. The tenser moments were executed well and did build proper suspense which was a pleasant surprise for a text based game. Shame it's relatively undiscovered since I do think the mystery point and click gamers would find this quite enjoyable. The puzzles are on a good difficulty level for those that are more experienced in the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles were hit or miss, but I love the style.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a lot of fun playing YOUR HOUSE! I thought it was a fresh concept when it comes to a puzzle adventure game with the setting being in a book. I enjoyed clicking on specific words to get certain items or to move around to different locations. I thought the game was unique in presenting the different numerical codes needed to solve a lot of the puzzles; it had me thinking a bit harder for the answers in the later half of the game! Also, not that long of a game. It's a short, but fun brain…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not long (note my play time) and it's not difficult per se, although some of it is adventure game logic, but it's beautiful and has great voice acting and good writing and oh boy was it funny how many of the books on the bookshelf I have on my bookshelf.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think the game is a solid 6/10 - far from a bad game but it's generally flawed. It's quite a clever concept using a novel as an interactive story with many puzzle elements. However, even though the game is clever and the story is gripping - the story twist(s) was easier to figure out than most of the puzzles. The links between the puzzles, clues and the answers from Chapter 3 onwards were tenuous at best that, even when you work the puzzles out it doesn't feel rewarding and instead were met…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hm #YourHouse was ok 😅 Some good puzzles in there, worth playing, but idk, lots of rough edges and bugs. They should check out my talk to learn how to fix their scrollviews lol

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid game. Quite short but it's got a lot of style, fun puzzles and good music. Can't say I've ever seen gameplay like this before but I definitely like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just such an enjoyable experience, and unique
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful artwork. Really enjoyed it !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have you ever played a game that sticks with you long after you've finished? This happened to me with their debut game, "Unmemory". The way its narrative flows is unique, with its own distinct voice on multiple levels. After playing the "Your Home" demo during Steam Next Fest, I felt a similar connection, only to later discover that the same studio was behind both games. It made the experience even more intriguing, especially knowing that this game is a prequel to Unmemory! I don't want to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is bugged. I'm playing on a Surface Go 2, and I can't tap the words "and jumps!" In the first chapter. It makes a noise just like running, but nothing happens and it times out. I've tried about 5 times now
