Walking into that thing having no idea what I was about to watch It felt exactly like how movies were supposed to be seen. Pieces of art you wandered into
unlabelledView post →I make this point periodically, but my favorite movie experiences are me just picking one and going in blind. Example: Wind River
unlabelledView post →Wind River rocks. One of the most intense gunfights I’ve seen in a movie.

unlabelledView post →There's this Jeremy Renner movie I watched recently called Wind River, set in Wyoming in the freezing, snowy cold. He explains how running in extreme temps can cause pulmonary hemorrhage (it's particularly brutal for an overweight, middle-aged fellow). Anyway I thought that was a fun fact.
unlabelledView post →this whole chud chekist administration wanted to be in a taylor sheridan movie so bad, specifically Sicario, but instead of getting the cool bridge gunfight from Sicario maybe they're getting the trailer gunfight at the end of Wind River 🤷♂️
unlabelledView post →To exactly this point, he made WIND RIVER, a whole action movie about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. It's not totally successful, but at least he tried.
unlabelledView post →Film images I've taken at the Wind River Reservation. Vast landscapes, golden sunsets, and deep history. Each image reflects resilience, tradition, and the spirit of the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho. #documentary #photography #journalism #portraitphotography #portraits #wyoming
unlabelledView post →I remember him from Wind River! That was an awesome movie. Rest in peace, sir
unlabelledView post →I watched the new HBO documentary MoviePass, MovieCrash last night-- what a wild story! I loved my MoviePass and tried to see as many movies as possible before the inevitable end. So many movies I wouldn't have seen in theaters otherwise: Maudie, Faces Places, Three Billboards, Wind River #movies

unlabelledView post →Wind River Taylor Sheridan (2017) Amazing, powerful and important film starring Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner and Graham Greene. Written and directed by Taylor Sheridan. Contains mature themes.
unlabelledView post →Just learned this movie, Sicario, and Wind River are an informal trilogy by Taylor Sheridan (yes, *that guy*) about the modern American frontier and I guess that adds a bit to watching them all but that guy just gives me the ick
unlabelledView post →Day 28 - A soundtrack from a film or TV series. #AprilSpins Wind River - Nick Cave & Warren Ellis A beautifully haunting score for a haunting film. About a third of my collection is scores/soundtracks, I love them. And have a number of Cave & Ellis scores, they are so great!
unlabelledView post →E street is where I fell in love with film. I saw some of my fav films here. Sicario. Wind River. Still Alice. Silence. Moonlight. Manchester By The Sea. When I moved to NY/NJ, whenever I come back to Dc, I always make sure to visit. OOF this one hurts. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...
unlabelledView post →I’m watching Wind River for the first time and I’m sad there isn’t a Jeremy Renner specific app for me to talk about my feelings on this movie.
unlabelledView post →Apple TV is my go-to channel these days due to their impeccable track record of quality shows. But The Last Frontier and Smoke aren’t it. TLF is like the movie Wind River if it had weak performances and unbelievable plotting. Smoke has entirely unlikable characters and that’s *before the *twist.
unlabelledView post →was trying to remember the name of a movie I thought had Jennifer Lawrence about people smuggling across the Canadian border via frozen lakes which I always get confused with the Tyler Sheridan movie Wind River but it turns out it is not Winter’s Bone, I was thinking of a third movie, Frozen River
unlabelledView post →Watched a nice heartwarming Christmas movie tonight: Wind River

unlabelledView post →It's quite a place. A set of volcano eruptions & ashfalls left layered sandstone with exquisite fossils from the Eocene, like those I'd known of from Wind River WY. The small museum does an excellent job (& hasn't sanitized Climate Change from its movie) and they also have a superb hands on lab 3/n
unlabelledView post →Dances With Wolves was the first film of his that crossed my path. Graham had a great role to play and did a wonderful job. Wind River was the last film of his that I have seen. I very much enjoyed his acting in that one too. Graham Greene will be missed.💔
unlabelledView post →True. And the ex-wife got by without being slapped around. Guess it was Wind River when he discovered he really enjoyed hurting beautiful women on film.
unlabelledView post →#30DayFilmChallenge #filmsky #moviesky Day 5: An underrated film WIND RIVER Still feel people sleep on this film or have not seen it
unlabelledView post →Wind River is an incredible movie and part of it is that the shootout comes out of absolutely nowhere.
unlabelledView post →Writing Fellowship Update: in revisions after an incredibly productive meeting w/mentor. Got fantastic notes that are shaping it into a perfect form: CHINATOWN x WIND RIVER. It feels so now, so relevant and political, yet it's not a "message" movie or preachy. All substance, tension, and mystery.
unlabelledView post →Only made it through 3 movies this week. I tried "Fountain Of Youth" but did not finish it. I finished Highlander, Sicario, and Wind River. Highly Recommend Wind River. Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen are fantastic in it. #filmsky #letterboxdfriday #last4movies
unlabelledView post →I saw the movie "Wind River" in a theater 3 blocks from the Casper, WY FBI office (150 mi from the Wind River reservation). Elizabeth Olsen's character coming from Vegas because "that's the closest FBI office to the Wind River reservation" had me howling.

unlabelledView post →If anyone wants to see a heart-wrenching story about some of the struggles Native American women face, please watch the movie “Wind River”, based on a fictional book but that combines multiple real-life stories into one plot. We stole the First Nation’s land, and now this. #FuckMAGA
unlabelledView post →What's a movie you went into blind and it completely blew you away? 🎥🤯 Wind River That crash cut to Bernthal's last night was crushing. Amazing film
unlabelledView post →Wind River (2017) Are there any fans of this Taylor Sheridan crime drama? Joining me to talk that film year: Matthew Anderson and Saleah Blancaflor #movies #filmsky
unlabelledView post →was a toss up for me between Wind River, Sicario and the Barbie Movie, TBH. Much as I hate giving Sheridan any flowers, these days, there is no denying his American Frontier Trilogy is top shelf cinema, even if he is a preening d-bag.
unlabelledView post →Then, if you've been completely unaware, the Wind River has some grim statistics for MMIP. The movie "Wind River" just touched on it. There's a lot to learn.
unlabelledView post →I’ll always have Sicario, He’ll or High Water & Wind River. But I’m glad I got off the Sheridan train after the Angelina Jolie movie (which was ok).

unlabelledView post →I was living in Casper, Wyoming, when I saw Wind River. The inaccuracy that took me out of the movie was Elizabeth Olson's FBI agent being from Vegas, supposedly the closest FBI office to Lander, WY. I was at a theater 3 blocks from the Casper FBI office. (And there's an FBI satellite office...)
unlabelledView post →Damn, Wind River is grim. Good film, but grim.
unlabelledView post →This dude Taylor Sheridan, didn't he write WIND RIVER? That movie was good. What the fuck happened? @vincemancini.bsky.social

unlabelledView post →Wind River is a great goddamn film (with a great score by Nick Cave) and it needs to be more widely known.
unlabelledView post →Tonight's film. 'Those Who Wish Me Dead'. Not highly rated but I thought 'Wind River' so good I wanted to see Taylor Sheridan's other films.

unlabelledView post →Man, now I want to watch WIND RIVER again. That movie ruled.
unlabelledView post →So I watched a film called Wind River tonight and the more things I watch from Taylor Sheridan the more I come to realise he's a director that doesn't miss for me. He doesn't shy away from showing the harsh realities of the environments that his films & TV shows are set in.
unlabelledView post →America. I think this applies to to us. Jane Banner: Shouldn't we wait for back up? Ben: This isn't the land of waiting for back up. This is the land of you're on your own. I'm watching #WindRiver.
unlabelledView post →Recently learned about the "American Frontier" movie trilogy, or in other words that Sicario (first watched a decade ago) has two spiritual successors. Watched Wind River tonight. Easily the best movie I've seen all year.
unlabelledView post →I ended up watching "Wind River" last night. It is a Taylor Sheridan movie with Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. So damn good! I highly recommend it. I've been watching a lot of Taylor's stuff lately and I like most of it. IMO he's a really good writer and director. #filmsky

unlabelledView post →Such a good movie. And so are Hell or High Water and Wind River! So sad that the guy who wrote them never wrote anything else.
unlabelledView post →“You can’t steer from the pain.” ~ quote from the movie Wind River Why this came to my head just lying here quietly is another of life’s great mysteries.
unlabelledView post →It’s Friday night, and I am watching three movies in a row. My wife is out of town. I’m sure it’s unrelated Wind River (not good, but a new movie to me) The Accountant 2 (also new to me, and a decent film) Terminator (great movie, seen lots. Ended on high note)
unlabelledView post →People ought to watch Wind River. Sit with it, or read about that movie. I suggest it bc it explicitly deals with freezing in temps. MMIW, directly. Respectfully. But pulls no punches. Just so you're warned bc it may be triggering. Incentive? Bad guy gets it in the end.🤫 Ain't saying how.
unlabelledView post →I still want to know what the airline I was on in 2018 or so was thinking by having Wind River among their film selections. Thanks, person whose screen was directly in my line of sight, I really didn't sign up for all that sexual assault and murder but I got it anyway. People can be so thoughtless!
