She said, 'Yes.’ not looking at me I said “Then I'd like to phone a friend." That’s when the fight started.

So I could not play the game as myself.

unlabelledView post →You reach a certain age and you feel like you've acquired a modest, but not unsubstantial, pool of knowledge. Then you play a trivia game and get humiliated in front of your niece and remember you know about as much as Kit Harington. This game came out in 2020, then, suddenly, about 4 years later—aligned roughly with the rapid rise in popularity and use of AI—they come out with 12 DLCs in rapid succession. I caught at least one error: they thought Jamie Lee Curtis's mother was her daughter.…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yo dude, like half the questions are just lying and are straight up wrong. I also said no Olympic questions, and the cheeky bugger gave me 4 within 13 questions. Get this game out of my sight, please. Deliver us from this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A coda to this is that the UK is pretty unusual in that we don’t tax winnings on the Lottery or game shows. John Carpenter (the first winner of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire) worked at the IRS and didn’t give his job up because after tax he got about $600k which is nice but not life-changing.

unlabelledView post →I really wanted to enjoy this game but there are way too many poorly worded questions and factually incorrect answers for a game entirely about questions and answers. Whoever was in charge of that really dropped the ball here. The game has been out since 2020 and the team has had more than enough time to fix the answers; this neglect only hurts the brand. While there are DLCs to increase the question pool, there should've been way more content in the base game. Also, my Video settings show in…

unlabelledView post →Some of the questions straight up have the wrong answer as the correct answer. Was asked which movie wasn't directed by John McTiernan and answered "Conan", but the game said the correct answer was "Die Hard", when the other choices were "Predator" and "Nomads"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the worst games I've ever seen. Even at $7.99 it is not worth it. It asked the question "'Put On Your Sunday Clothes' is a song from which musical?" The answer is "Hello Dolly", but the options I was given to choose from were "A: Metamorphic rock, B: Russian word for sneeze, C: Letter Z, D: Turkish resort". I am not making this up! While the game-show (and therefore the game) involves one location and almost no movement, the game somehow has beyond-terrible animation which isn't in…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is... genuinely awful. I'd have requested a refund if I'd known it was possible. So many spelling/grammatical errors, nonsense questions/answers and iffy functionality - did the developers even try to test, or even proofread the script/questions? Perhaps this game is symbolic of the age in which we find ourselves living now: everything about it is rubbish but that seems to be OK. Do yourselves a favour - don't buy this. Just... don't.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The questions are not voiced, super awkward animations, long silences, this is an awful game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is hardly worth $10. Charging $30 for this is vile.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AVOID! Avoid at all costs! I read the reviews on this before buying and should have listened. I put my volume on 10% because I knew about the extreme volume when launching it from other reviews. Still managed to make my headphones start cracking. I threw them off my head instantly. This game should be banned from sale. The developers should be brought to court and sentenced to work in cobalt mines. I cannot NOT recommend this more. In fact this is without a doubt the single worst purchase I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the TV Series a lot and would enjoy the game as well. The problem is, that A LOT of questions have the wrong answers, so you fail while being correct. Nearly every run ends through one of these fails by the developer. The moderator and character phrases are also very poor, but i wouldnt care about this, if you could just play the game correctly.
