All going well, this will lead to the rapid removal of the Launcher from all of Ubis other titles. This is a massive win - and a real one, not some temporary tangerine victory. Thank you to everyone who joined the effort by commenting and boosting - standing together makes all the difference. Now all Ubi needs to do is fix the graphical bugs on newer hardware that…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't you hate it when you buy a game to play in single player mode on your Steam Deck and it works? Hi. We at Ubislop came up with a great solution to your problem. We forced our launcher even though Steam is the launcher itself, forced you to go online and use multiplayer in our single player game and then crash your game because our ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti-cheat doesn't work on Linux because we decided we need to invade the very core of your system and you HAVE to use Windows for that. There's just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my favorite childhood games, and im glad to see it have a spike in attention. It ended up being a really freakishly accurate representation of the real world now, with companies like Flock and Palantir. F*ck Flock, f*ck Palantir, and f*ck the surveillance state.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WARNING FOR ALL PEOPLE BUYING THIS DURING THE SUMMER SALE the game is BROKEN. there is constant sky flickering that cannot be fixed with any of the in game settings. no matter what you do it'll always be there. NO it isn't your gpu. NO it isn't your drivers. it's just ubislop not fixing one of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games. luckily, there is a way to fix this flickering yourself. it does require downloading a few things and changing a few core game settings, but it doesn't require extensive pc…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →would play more of this game, but the flickering bug with nvidia cards is impossible to fix, for a game thats partnered with Nvidia, Ubislop sure know how to forget there own games even exist. FIX YOUR FREAKING GAME
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →currently unplayable on RTX cards because of the lighting glitch tanking performance and making shadows flicker considering the issue has been in the game for at least 2 years at this point, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at ubisoft probably just given up on it altogether
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How to complete 90% of the missions in this game: - Step 1: Find a high rooftop outside the restricted zone - Step 2: Deploy your drone and remote RC car - Step 3: Hack police database and report a gang boss as a wanted fugitive - Step 4: Hack the gang database and call a hit on the police responding to the call - Step 5: Sit back and watch World War 3 erupt while you casually download the objective files Way more fun and vibrant than the first game. Peak stealth/puzzle sandbox.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edited Preface: This is a game made by a staunchly anticonsumer company in Ubisoft, one who is known to lie to consumers for personal gain. They do not value you or your rights as a consumer Be aware of that before making any purchasing decision. Worth playing but its not a 10/10 game by any means. I feel like it tried to be both safe, and outrageous in spots at the same time and it kinda damages the identity it wanted to give off to gamers. The irony for this game is storyline wise it feels…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For all its faults, Watch Dogs 1 had nuance, and took itself seriously. It was about a damaged man who made mistakes and had blood on his hands and conscience. This game is a domestic terrorist simulator with whiny college frat kids who have never been told no before, does not take itself serious in not a good way, has no coherent story, and makes me ask, "WHY?" or "How??" more often than anything else. The gameplay is pretty fun, coop is its saving grace if it has one, but the characters…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watch Dogs 2 is probably one of the best examples of an open world game where simply messing around with the mechanics can be more entertaining than actually following the missions. compared to the darker atmosphere of the first game, this one is much more colorful, energetic and sometimes even silly, but i think that works really well with San Francisco and the whole hacker group theme. the story itself isn’t anything incredible and i wouldn’t say the characters or villains are unforgettable,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →games good but ubisoft sucks ass i cant even launch watchdogs 1
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Went from Aiden Pearce's dark gritty revenge story to Marcus doing fortnite dances after tasing cops with a drone lol. First game had you hunting down the people responsible for killing your niece and this one has you taking selfies and spamming emojis through san francisco while pretending your fighting "the system." They looked at the first game and said yeah lets just make it a marvel movie instead. Tonal whiplash is insane Dedsec went from a mysterious underground hacker group to basically…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely unplayable due to the flickering issue that despite being well known by ubisoft they have done nothing to fix it. Really sad to see such a cool game being abandonned by the sh1tty ubi devs. I hope they collapse.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →way better than watchdogs 1 in so many ways! The hacking and the gameplay is so much better. buy on a sale and do not pay full price for this though, it's on sale all the time so just wait on that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is thousand years old and still got lots of problems the main one is flickering problem on rtx series. I hope ubisoft collapse.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love this game but do not play this on a 4060 bro it will flicker the living ♥♥♥♥ out of ur screen ( i have an insane headache bro )
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the last well made Ubisoft title, as well as the last well made Watch Dogs game. It's my favourite Ubisoft game, period. I've made a guide on how to fix the annoying flickering issue so you can enjoy this game completely. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3675468408

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought Watch Dogs 2 on Steam. Just wanted to play the game. But no, you *have* to use Ubisoft Connect. So I make an account, set my password, try to log in — “Invalid email address or password.” Great. I hit reset password. No email. Try again. Still no email. Then I remember I probably made an account before for R6 Mobile. So I go to the “can’t log in” section, use the “played on mobile” option, put in my Gmail… Nothing. No email. Again. So now I’m stuck where: * I can’t log in * I…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For far too long Ubisoft has oppressed the average gamer. Mentally subjugating them with slop & lack luster titles year after year. These predators have victimized the weak and the wounded under the guise of 'the next big game,' all while multiplayer and co-op is neglected. DEDSEC has discovered that loyalty is bought strictly by the shareholders. Ubisoft believes they are untouchable & can replace human ingenuity with AI generated slop. DEDSEC will reveal the secrets and true purpose of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completley broken for my pc because i have a 50 series card. all textures just constantly flicker making the game just unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s a decent game. I played it a lot on PS4. But I do not recommend you buy this version. There is constant flickering. Everything flickers, the entire sky flickers continuously, and apparently, Ubisoft aren’t going to do anything about it either. The only way to play the game without constant flickering is to disable anti-cheat/multiplayer and add some files from a GitHub page that make the game stutter constantly instead. Yay
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Denuvo DRM, online integrity checks, kernel level anticheat, external client, and they dare talk about digital freedom??? Even though it's really cheap on promo, I'd rather sail the high seas out of principle.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DONT BUY! Ubisoft and Steam is selling you a broken game, flickering is a problem. You cant fix it if you dont tamper with the files. If you do, you cant acces online. Just crack the game if you want it to work, THIS IS ♥♥♥♥!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Open-world action game in which you play as Marcus, a hacker who can hack devices and infrastructure throughout San Francisco while taking on corporations and criminals After really enjoying the well-made Watch Dogs 1, it was time for me to play the second installment in the series. It has some things that I liked even more than in the first game, but also some aspects that I think were worse. I’ll talk about all of that in this review ✅I have to give credit to the fact that, compared to the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watch Dogs 2 8/10 Watch Dogs 2 is what happens when Ubisoft says: “Let's make a game about hackers and young people.” And then 50-year-old executives sit in a room for 6 months trying to figure out what young people are. The result is DedSec. They fight surveillance, corporations and the system... ...while constantly worrying about followers, memes and looking cool. HELLO, FELLOW KIDS. The hacking itself is great. Drones, RC cars, cameras, traffic lights — you can turn every mission…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why did i bought this? I guess gta 5 was too big This game is a masterpiece, i really had fun playing this, the game aint that heavy, any modern hardware can run it, the parkour is good and better than most of open world games, even 10 years later this game stills holds and is really fun, the graphics are good too and sometimes remind me of gta 6, the world is amazing and has so much life, the npcs are better than rdr2 npcs in some aspects, best thing that even came out from ubisoft 8.5/10…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unplayable if you have anything RTX. Constant flickering and no way to easily change it without adding dll to the game file. Known issue for a couple years and likely to never be fixed by Ubisoft. Avoid if you have RTX
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still can't believe it, this was the most fun open-world game I've ever played, but the cyberattacks were really enjoyable. Cyberattacks were fun in Cyberpunk 2077, and they are in this one too. It's quite playable, I recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game of my childhood and it is so peak! I don't really want to talk about bugs, there are a lot, but i love this game. Graphics there is such incredible. Shadows, textures, light, all of it is fantastic. I love the setting of this game. I love the hacker thing. San-Francisco looks amazingly, you can't take your eyes off it. Everywhere you go there is beautiful artworks, places of interest, skyscrapers AND THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE. Some of the missions may seem boring, but generally the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything about the game is incredible. I'm absolutely enjoying playing this game. The reason I wouldn't recommend this is Watch Dogs 2 is crazy broken right now and the entire outdoor environment has a constant flicker, and has had one for the entirety of my playtime. I love the game so much, I'll play it regardless but the only available fix online is to roll back my drivers and I'm not willing to break everything else to fix a broken game. This game is Ubisoft in it's prime. Too bad we…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely unplayable. Even on lowest graphics settings WD2 crashes every 2min. Couldn't even get out of the first tutorial area. Maybe it's a problem with newer hardware. Running it in compatibility mode didn't fix it. It made me be able to finish the tutorial but then the skyline flickered and the game crashed again. Classic Ubisoft game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just replayed this game in 2026, and it's better than any AAA slop that comes out these days. The graphics still look really good, and the game runs well. The music makes the missions feel much cooler. The story is decent as well. The gameplay has mixed difficulty. Most missions are very easy because the enemy AI is pretty dumb, but some missions become extremely difficult if you don't play them the way they were designed. Enemies charge at you from all directions, and some even spawn right…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a shame that Ubisoft, a company that's forgotten how to make games, is so eager to break old ones. That's what happened with this one, too. You can't play it on PC with all the add-ons, and without them, the game is completely different and unpolished( But I'll still give it a recommendation. This game taught me about level design and how it works. A lot of the knowledge I first learned from this game back on PS4 comes in handy and helps me with any project I start. I always have fond…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was fun for a while until everything from the ground to the walls in the game started to stutter. It only started recently and came out of nowhere for no reason. I could not play without my eyes hurting from the flickers. I heard you can fix it through a third party app, but it isn't guaranteed to work. Plus I am not downloading foreign software onto my PC just to fix a game the devs refuse to fix. Average Ubisoft! <3 Would highly suggest not to buy if you have photosensitivity…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horrible performance, had to turn down some graphical settings to get a stable, high framerate. So a game that is 10 years old, had to look even worse, because of bad optimization? I already skipped Watch Dogs, because they FORCED mouse acceleration into it, couldn't disable no matter what. I recently finished RDR2 100% on absolute maximum fidelity, so my rig can handle it all. Sad and pathetic Ubisoft.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For me Watch_Dogs 2 is a weird one. Pretty much everything all across the board was improved. Hacking was so much more deep and fun, the game has a lot of new hack, cars, driving mechanics, world, and the incultion of the smartphone was so much better than in the first one. its is a genuine improvement over the first game except in the following: Gunplay: Gunplay in WD2 felt so off to me, I really do not know how to explain. Like it feels I am shooting paintballs instead of bullets, although…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this is the best Watch_Dogs game currently. The map is absolute beautiful and fun. The amount of stuff you can do and details this game has, is incredible! Main character tho? Its not.... that good. But its fine, the gameplay itself and world makes this game amazing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In terms of mechanics and gameplay this game rules. However there are some very cringe moments and it doesn't help that its from characters you interact with. Marcus is not a well written protagonist and pales in comparison to Aiden Peirce. its a high 7-8/10. it earns a 8\10 with friends as end game content turns stale over time solo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An open world creative well-made gam realy FUN!.A very good game in general
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game but it's unplayable on new hardware. All textures flicker
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay and open world is pretty goated, multiplayer is a fun mess but the netcode is a bit meh, I have mixed feelings about the story but it's still overall pretty fun. I spent an unhealthy amount of time just messing around and I would do it again. It just gets better despite following the same Ubisoft open world formula.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game on the summer sale for a dollar but i wasn't able to play it because of launcher issues suspending my account everytime i try to log in. its really frustrating to buy a game and wanting to play it but you're blocked from playing it. i spend 85 minutes trying to troubleshoot but wasn't able to play. my negetive review isn't about the game its about the launcher.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unplayable. Won't launch because the ubisoft DRM requires an account. I'm not going to make one. It also installs malware (ubisoft connect) on your computer without asking. Ubisoft can suck my nuts. Even 95% off this is a waste of money and I'm getting it refunded.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What is Watch_Dogs® 2 about & why it's relevant The game Watch_Dogs® 2 does a great job if it comes to explaining how the modern world looks like, how companies & governments are screwing us all up for their own profits where they go as far as to decide for us whether we need help or not. While they don't explicitly name these companies (most likely for legal reasons), they use parody names instead as well as branding which you can easily tell which company they're picking on in the game,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this game was about watching dogs, nope, it's like GTA, but you can hack things.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has an issue on 40/50 series GPUs where sky/shadows flicker for some god for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ saken reason, Ubishart hasn't fixed it, likely never will, and the main fix is to download Vulkan dlls, which in turn disables the multiplayer functionality for some reason, makes the game stutter for the first ~10 minutes of play every time you boot it, AND makes the game crash if you alt+tab out. ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would argue this game is better and more fun to play almost 10 years after its initial release. A fantastic and hilarious time capsule of 2016 life and culture, with themes that are still very poignant today. Super fun time, and plays like GTA. The story is good, even if there are beats that fall flat, the cast of characters is just so charming its hard to be mad at the game for its shortcomings.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as good maybe even better that the first, again can't really find a fault, found some insane random events though; witnessed a random woman get shot at by a gang then drive off // or people randomly beating each other up over a petit comment. Some funny random dialogue so the NPCs actually feel real. Though... They really did my boy Horatio dirty
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was definitely good. The gunplay is the same as the first game, mostly, and you'll always be using only a couple guns throughout the game, just because you buy the best ones pretty fast. Silenced guns are superior again. The hacking is, as was the case with the first game, not remotely realistic. The game also felt a lot shorter than the first one. Maybe that's because I did a lot less of the side content, but the main story felt shorter too. My only complaint about the story is…
