negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely awful. It's Ubislop. Go here, kill that, loot this, find that. Rinse & repeat. They also had the audacity to kill off the hand-crafted protagonist (Dalton) immediately after the tutorial mission and then make you play randomly generated low quality civilians as if that is a suitable replacement. I'm going to pretend this game doesn't exist and assume the series ended with Watch_Dogs 2
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this, but it really feels like two game ideas that are fundamentally at odds with each other got forced together and put in a blender. The net result means you never really get the benefits of either. Positives: - there's a fair amount of traversal options within the open world - there is some variety of character abilities and traits Negatives: - Most of the campaign missions I could see were made longer by just making you do the same thing several times in a row, and were…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you're a player like me and you're thinking, “I've played Watch Dogs 1 and 2 many times; Legion can't be as bad as people say it is,” then yeah, bro, it is that bad, do not make mistake as me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate Ubisoft. I never considered the conglomerate good as a whole, not even when the acclaimed Ezio trilogy was the talk of the town. Even then, whenever I am playing a Ubisoft game, especially in games after “the formula” is established, I cannot stop thinking that there are some parts of this that are worth saving. I hate how playing a Ubisoft game makes me feel. I feel like a provincial schmuck who has been to a city whorehouse for the first time in their life and fell in love with the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →go k== yourself, i shouldn't have to download your stupid uplay launcher to my pc so i can play the game, i bought it on steam you don't need to "verify" i bought it, seriously to the people who made this a requirement f== yourself, ps i just bypassed uplay and im playing the game I BOUGHT WITH MY OWN CASH
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: -Weapon variety, and actual unique weapons (aside from the stupid taser guns everyone hates) -Open world is fun to just mess around in for a little while -Car accidents and destruction is intense -Lots of objects in the world to smash through -Guns and core movement mechanics feel very good (would be better if the game had more work done on it) Cons: -Horrific writing, nobody cares about weird future techy london, or an unrealistic nuclear crisis -Game is still very unpolished in a lot…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried giving this game a bunch of chances, but it always managed to unbearable. Terrible voice acting, corny dialogue, routine glitches, and just an overall cringe vibe. Watch Dogs 2 was lightyears ahead of this shovelware.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Guess what, when I buy a fricking Game on Steam, I dont want to connect to UbiSlop. I just wanna play the game. I bet when I get this game on another platform on the high seas, my experience will be 1000 times better, without the need of a UbiSlop Account nor Denuvo Spyware. Thx UbiSlop, I do hope you will file for bankruptcy very soon, or maybe start thinking about being more customer friendly.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watch Dogs Legion began development in 2016 and released in late 2020. It’s a strange mix of an incredible game and a frustrating one. The graphics are still phenomenal even in 2025, with excellent ray tracing, DLSS, HDR, and more options than most games today. In fact, the graphics are so good I sometimes forget to play and just stare at puddles or building windows with ray tracing on. It runs amazingly well with my ROG STRIX RTX 3090 on Ultra settings without DLSS. However, I have to admit, I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2026 Review Watch Dogs: Legion is a pretty solid game. It’s fun, has an interesting concept, looks pretty good, and is genuinely worth playing, which is why I’m giving it a thumbs up. That said, I don’t think it’s a particularly strong entry in the Watch Dogs series... The biggest strength is the world itself. London looks fantastic and is surprisingly detailed and accurate, making it an enjoyable place to explore. There are also some genuinely interesting story elements and surprisingly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the map feels amazing somewhat and the idea is interesting, the game feels soulless. Story The story is very generic. Not having a main character means there is no real attachment to anyone, as the story fails to carry that weight. The game sets high stakes, but fails to make you feel like they actually matter. Watch Dogs 1 felt much darker than Legion, in addition the pacing was just off for me. It’s not as goofy as WD2, but also not as dark as WD1 (WD Legacy should've been darker if…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very accurate portrayal of London. Everyone is ugly and speaks some weird accent.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely soulless... the narrative is terrible, the missions are repetitive, and the characters are empty. The feeling of being a hacker is completely gone. Driving feels clunky and unpleasant, combat and gunplay are awkward and unsatisfying, and even the soundtrack manages to be annoying. There’s nothing left in the game that makes you want to stay. It feels like the management behind the project deliberately killed what once was a great series. SO STUPID. As a fan of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the games of all times. The gameplay is just bad... The dialog is awful. The concept is great, but it would only have been worth it if a serious studio had made it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reviewing (mostly) every game (or DLC) in my library, part 607: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ (7/10) Is it true that if you've played one Ubisoft game, you've played them all? Eh, pretty much. I like Ubisoft games for the most part, even their formulaic gameplay. Still, there's a part of me that sees the potential of the Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs games, as strange as that sounds for a multimillionaire conglomerate. I feel the same about Watch Dogs: Legion. The gameplay is second to none; the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a fan of this one. The idea of being able to hire anyone in the city for your organization is neat, but it has the unfortunate effect of making you not care about any of the characters. Even the premium ones didn’t really stand out. London wasn't that fun to explore either, and I couldn't find any truly unique areas. The Bloodline DLC is alright, and focuses on a couple of well established characters. It’s just a shame you have to buy the rest of the game to play it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →> 110gb on installed files > click run, opens UCL (ubisoft connect launcher) > click run on UCL, doesnt run, close > try again, it works > the next day, same thing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is mid. If you want to experience real WatchDogs, play only the first two games and pretend Legion never came out.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some people aren't the biggest fans of the "recruit anyone" aspect. I get that there is less character development like how it was with WD1 or 2 following Aiden & Marcus, but honestly I think it works great here. Is it stupid to have a hacker cell full of nothing but British Grannies that might spontaneously croak on the way to a mission? Maybe, but its absolutely hilarious and it's one of the best possibilities with this game. TBH I have the Bloodlines DLC and just play 90% of missions as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An insult to watch dogs 1 and watch dogs 2. Everything about this game is just not good at all. I dont want some crap AI talking 24/7 in my ear, every single op you get looks so stupid. Driving cam isnt good. Performance is bad. World settings and general gameplay is horrible. Bad fighting system. I can not think of anything good about this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I went into Legion with very low expectations, I liked the first Watch_Dogs, absolutely loved the 2nd, but I held off playing this one, the whole play-as-any-NPC-on-the-street gimmick turned me off, but then they released the Bloodline DLC, with the absolute fan favorite Wrench and of course Aiden, so I said, alright I'll give it a chance. And I gotta say, it wasn't so bad, I had fun playing this thing, the story is okay, I didn't exactly feel as connected with the characters like the previous…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why this game got so much hate. Yes the game didn't have a main protagonist but that's what the game is all about you can be anyone you want. I like the stealth mechanics of the game. The only drawback of the game is that the weapon availability is exclusive per character type, and they removed the smartphone features of the game (car on demand, media player, etc)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its ♥♥♥♥, but its a spitting image of the UK now...no privacy and big brother always watching, with a tyrant running the joint...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, This game is really overhated. It has a good story and fun stuff, I love to ride on the drone
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cool concept that loses something in execution. Playing as anyone in London is a fun idea but none of the characters feel memorable because of it. The setting is great and there's a lot to do but the lack of a proper protagonist hurts it alot.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, so I’ve sunk way too many hours into Watch Dogs: Legion, and honestly? I regret nothing. This game is an absolute blast. If you’re into open-world chaos, hacking everything in sight, and building your own ragtag crew of misfits, this one’s for you. First off, the setting is 🔥. Near-future London is gritty, stylish, and packed with personality. It’s not just a backdrop, it feels alive. From Camden Market to the Tower Bridge, the city’s buzzing with detail. I found myself just wandering…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like they took all the cool elements of Watch Dogs 2 and threw it all out. It feels like many people were forced to make this game. It just sucks.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I buy Ubisoft games 5 years after release so as not to feel like an idiot. And still... FIVE years after release this game is buggy. I've had multiple soft locks and I apparently just lost an agent because my car got stuck in a wall and then the agent I was trying to recruit just died. Probably so I could feel a sense of accomplishment. The game is soulless. The idea of being able to recruit everyone is not working. I mean sure, it's working. It's just gimmicky af. The way they designed…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was a big Watch Dogs fan, but this game is not good at all. Not expecting anything good from the series now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had hope for this but it is almost unplayable. Hacking? Gutted. Vehicles? Gutted. Weapons? Gutted. An insane amount of bugs. Have had it crash on me several times. The loading screen took over 5 minutes to get into my save. I started the game with permadeath on thinking it was going to be a fun challenge. My first and only death was because my character got stuck mid air after a jump (In a neutral zone, undetected) and while stuck 3 drones spawned out of nowhere and started blasting me.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Out of all the mid Ubisoft games, this one isn't the worst. It's basically just Britain simulator 2026.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a cool concept and London is a pretty nice map to play on, but it just has nowhere near the same magic as the previous watchdogs games. Wouldn't recommend unless it's on a really deep sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →**Not Recommended** I genuinely don't know how I managed to finish this game, including the Bloodline DLC. The first battle wasn't with Albion, Clan Kelley, or Zero-Day... it was with the game itself. Watch Dogs: Legion refused to launch and kept crashing on startup. After spending hours troubleshooting, I finally discovered that the game would only run properly using the DX11 version. A modern AAA title requiring that much detective work just to reach the main menu is already a terrible…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I gotta admit this is the worst game of the three but the junk food does taste good.... Ubisoft is pretty good at these open world titles. I am honestly praying that Ubisoft doesn't go bankrupt so we can get another Watch Dogs. WD1 and WD2 were both really groundbreaking and amazing titles. This, not so much. But I'll take what I can get! :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Story is boring, and there's really nothing new. Voice acting is ATTROCIOUS. And a game at this price should really have better graphics and run better... On max graphics settings it still looked and felt ancient
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played at launch back in 2020... back then this game was more cyberpunk than Cyberpunk 2077, real sh--. Ownable spider bots? Hacking vehicles and riding on them? Yep, all before CybP77. Much of the hate for this game comes from the "not MY x", "x in NAME ONLY" crowd who just can't stand an entry in a series being different (see: Mass Effect: Andromeda) despite the game itself being decent. And like ME: A if this game had been called something else and not had a DedSec plotline I guarantee it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is perfect for a player like me, but that isn't a guarantee that you'll love it. The game can be fast paced and fun, and the unique playable character design can help ensure that no two runs are the same. As a player that likes making my own elaborate character lore, it's perfect for that. You can customize your operatives and shape them to the story. This also adds a ton of replayability. It really is YOUR team. At the same time, this is WDL's biggest downfall. Going from the first…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game feels different than the other 2 games. The movement feels janky and the hacking mechanics are nothing compared to the other 2 games. In MP the servers are awfull, NPC's doing a T pose in the middle of the street and servers disconecting every 3 minutes. But hey the DLC is a 10/10 just because it has Aiden and Wrench together.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nobody has ever understood Watch Dogs: Legion. Legion, unlike any other Ubisoft game, genuinely deserves more positive reviews. I sincerely dont understand why it has such an undeservedly low rating, especially when compared to far more failed games (the Saints Row reboot, e.g). If you set aside the technical state of the game (which, over six years, has obviously become a fully stable product) and look past the typical Ubisoft ♥♥♥♥, Legion is a solid 7/10. Diving into the details: for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not as bad a game as most would say, though doesn't really compare to the previous entries in the series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is more focused on aesthetics than anything else. I tried to play this game, 14 hours now, but every time I simply can't play it, it's just so boring with these linear missions. The map is the only cool thing about the game. I can't even finish the story because the game keeps crashing in a specific mission. The fact this game has a season pass is just so pointless. Rip Watchdogs IP.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Non-Stop crashing and corrupted saves. Classic Ubisoft Garbage
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i started binging this a week ago after binging WD2 for weeks. The only way you could hate this game is if you expect it to be WD2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SCORE: ★★★: Liked It THE BREAKDOWN +Novel character-swapping system allows building a varied and often hilarious team of specialists for each task +Impressive graphics for the sheer scale of the game and London feels lovingly realized +Surprising amount of personality in the procedural operatives that helps build attachment +The mix of hacking, melee, and shooting remains pretty unique in gaming -General Ubisoft open-world clutter is at its worst with endless rote work -Operatives are poorly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I enjoy open-world games in general, I've always skipped Ubisoft games because of their reputation. And while it's true that this game is full of flaws and definitely not for everyone, I've enjoyed it A LOT. The story is generally good in terms of missions and gameplay, and the secondary villains were actually well-written. Nothing "wow", but quite solid - backgrounds are well delivered, motivations are clear, and the voice acting is nice. The main villain is kinda disappointing, but the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its kinda telling that the only good characters in this game, are the ones added from their first two games (looking at you Aiden and Wrench). The idea that anyone can be recruited and played as is a fun idea, but heavily flawed. The dialogue feels very restricted and cookie cutter as every character has to be able to speak in any and every scene in the game. All playable characters feel immensely shallow and boring with no real reason to "latch on" to any of them. The best parts of this game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. I like being able to recruit anyone in this game. It does feel different in a lot of ways from the other watch dogs games, but I don't care, it's fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →need a new watch dogs game cuz i cant keep replaying the three games over and over again...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of those times I wish I could give a neutral review. This game had a lot of potential that Ubisoft managed to screw up, but there are still some worthwhile things about the game. The hacks suck compared to WD1 and WD2. The gunplay can be frustrating as weapons cannot be picked up. And the writing had to suffer heavily due to the way characters are set up in the game. Despite that, exploring London is really fun. There is a lot more verticality in this game compared to previous…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although the game is unpolished, janky as hell, and its certainly the worst of the Watchdogs games - it is still incredibly enjoyable. The operatives mechanics, the story, the setting, its all really immersive and thought-out. I reccomend giving the game a shot before listening to all the hate. (Certainly get it on sale though, not worth its regular price.)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a 100% ubisoft game. i hate the company but idk why i love their games. its a hate love relationship. the game is good but it could have been so much better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just like Pokémon but instead of monsters you're collecting British Citizens. Gotta Catch 'em All!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was so hyped about this game for so long. But after the game came out- I wasn't even able to play it. The game wasn't released on steam until like 2 years after launch (and therefore wasn't even buyable for me and many others), then it releases on steam (WITH REQUIRED LAUNCHER) and after finally playing it. The story was boring, the characters felt flat, generic and uninteresting. The gameplay and progression were bland, map layout could have been better. Visual style was fine but I found…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an atrocious terrible game, it does nothing well. It spits on everything its predecessors built up. The premise didn't even have potential, it was doom from the start. And London isn't even an interesting setting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took many types of hack away. You have to recruit people you do not care about. Yes the city is cool but its a shell of watch dog 1 and 2. Story is whatever nothing crazy cool
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →when i started watch dogs 2 i realised that each game in this series is vastly different from one another. They share gameplay techniques and the idea that big tech is only an illusion of safety but other than that, all three games offer their own unique experience and story. That is why i think comparing them is nonsensical and why I don't understand why people hate on legion so much. Sure, when compared legion does not hold up to the first or second one but nonetheless it's definitely not a…
