60 of 176 · most liked firstWARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate Definitive Edition is a remarkably generous Musou package that focuses on large-scale battles, an enormous playable roster, and the simple satisfaction of tearing through hundreds of enemies with increasingly extravagant attacks. Developed and published by KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD., it brings together the worlds of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors inside a supernatural crossover built around the Serpent King Orochi. Rather than aiming for historical…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're seeing this review and wondering if you should buy this or Warriors Orochi 4, it's a no brainer. Buy this game, and not Warriors Orochi 4. This is one of the, if not the best, Musou game that Koei has released on Steam. As long as you completely avoid Warriors All-Stars you'll have an enjoyable time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this to death on PS4. Still the best Musou game ever made. It has the most content, the best special mode (Gauntlet), AI that is actually active and aggressive, and the DE has 2K and 4K resolutions. If you have to choose just one Musou games on PC, this is the one. It'll keep you busy for a while. Although if you hate these games, this one most likely won't change your mind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found this game at a very Chinese time in my life
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like the older dynasty warriors and samurai warriors games, this game is crazy good. It has a huge cast and the versions of the characters are very strong. samurai warriors 4 hyper attacks aren't in it. Runs great on steam deck besides some videos not playing, and all videos playing at half speed? its very strange. Supposedly you can re-encode the videos to fix it but I haven't. Its also crazy long. With all the dlc and side modes I'm not even half way through. Story is fun and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →History Channel if it was good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would not recommend this version. It is not definitive. They left out one of the most important maps in Gauntlet mode of a DLC. Also runs buggy. Better to get on console. PS4/5 version is much better. The game itself is fantastic.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If there was a single reason for me to play Warriors Orochi 3 over any other Musou, aside from truckload of characters, fire soundtrack with some from previous games included, exploits that allow you to negate any possible annoyances you could have, the game overall being a complete package with no extra purchases..... it'd be The Gauntlet. The freedom to pick your warriors and cause mayhem without worries about protecting territories, commanders or whoever dares to interrupt your chaos,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As it's name implies, It's ultimate musou game. Over 90+ fighters from both Dynasty Warriors 7 and Samurai Warriors 3 + some extras. Story continues after Orochi Warriors 2. At the moment of writing, I'm done with this title and will come back to it as oldman or something. For a fan of musou. it's a must. for a sunday musou player, probably will fill the hole good enough. + Pros + A very good and proper musou title + A lot of fighters to play as + A lot of scenarios divided into chapters +…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm going to start by saying the obvious: Warriors Orochi 3 is an old game. A game from 2011 (tho this version is from 2022) that is so heavily steeped in the console technology at the time that this port has horrendous issues with graphics at times and requires a lot of tweaking to get right. On Steam Deck, even worse so since you have to recompile EVERY SINGLE CUTSCENE since the terms Koei Tecmo and optimising a product to work are at times mutually exclusive terms. But looking aside from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First thing you should know about is that this game has an annoying issue when your monitor's refresh rate is not set to 60hz or lower many effects from the characters you play will look wrong & "blacked out." So remember to switch your refresh rate to 60hz right before starting the game and switching it back after playing! ------------ Often considered the best game out of the Warriors Orochi series and for good reason. Warriors Orochi 3 finally comes to PC as "Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i have played Orochi 2 when i was still a child and it made my childhood, and now i'm going back to this amazing series with Orochi 3 to enjoy how good at was, lot of people say that orochi 4 is better so i'll keep that in mind to play it after this one, i don't think people will enjoy Orochi if they didn't try samurai warriors or dynasty warriors, they won't understand how goofy to put Japanese warriors with a Chinese warriors at the same time so yeah they won't understand the fun with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of my absolute favorite games of all time, made by one of my favorite game companies W-Force, they make utter masterpieces, and the fact that they improved on everything with this game is just fantastic. The later installments left MUCH to be desired, but this one is PEAK. PEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAK!! Steam can't keep track of the hundreds of hours I played of this game on the PS4, and I STILL didn't unlock everything! Maybe not even half! I didn't level all the characters, there's just so so much…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ultimate musou game, many enemy even better lmao. What a satisfaction for the one who love to play musou
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perhaps the best warriors game ever made, It has hundreds of hours of content, stages, 150+ characters, dozens of costumes, music tracks, multiple modes, satisfying combat, everything you could ever ask for. The only complaint I have is that it uses the move sets from DW7 and SW3 which feel a little outdated compared to the more recent ones we have but it's a minor complaint when faced with the overwhelming awesomeness that is Warriors Orochi 3

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is one of the most complete Koei games out there
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bless their heart for including borderless screen options so that my monitor does not cause me epilepsy. PS2 era graphics but PS2 era gameplay. This one is a step up in terms of difficulty when compared to, say Samurai Warriors 4 DX. But when you lose you get thrown back into the main menu instead of giving you the option to retry, which is a hassle due to the fact that any upgrades or changes you make to the team composition is not saved before battle, so you have to go through all the hoops…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is by far in my opinion one of the best Koei Warriors games ever. There's over 100 characters to choose from and a lot of stages in Story Mode. To add onto that there's Gauntlet Mode which is a survival mode that gets harder the more enemies you defeat. Plus this has most of the DLC costumes, stages and music and for it's price is definitely worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very strained recommend. The combat is tight and feels good, the roster has good voice acting and interactions, and all the character power systems--including weapon customization and triple attacks--feel good to use. So why is this recommendation strained? One simple reason. The game will simply decide it's time for you to lose with no real player agency over it. Most battles have more than one commander and vets will recognize that any of the commanders dying means game over. In…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the game for about 20 hours. I did enjoy the game. After logging back in today my save file seems to be gone. I checked online and seems to be a common issue. Reached out to steam with no assistance. Requested a refund since the game doesn't work properly. I was denied the request because it was over 2 hours played. (8 hours sleeping and 8 hours of work with the game still running). Normally I would agree, but if the game doesn't save properly and there is a known issue....(just google…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This and Hyrule Warriors (both original and Age of Calamity) are pretty much the best Dynasty Warriors games at the moment. Get this and those 2 if you got a Switch, they'll help you get into the series a bit.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best game : Story, Characters and Gameplay, always exciting. never makes me bored playing this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely the best of Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games out there. Tons of characters, over-the-top in a grounded way unlike WO4, tons of maps, tons of tons of everything. Great game to shut off the brain and slap around thousands of enemies.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun hack n' slash game with hundreds of characters to play as which means finding a character who you click with to play throughout the game is there for you to find.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whoever said Warriors games lack aggressive AI probably wasnt referring to this one. Awesome casual game, Very Fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →better than warriors orochi 4 because no giant list of DLCs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is a Dynasty Warriors 7 + Samurai Warriors 3 cross-over hack and slash game. Pro: - A huge amount of content. There are 8 story mode chapters + a lot of bonus content. Some battles scenarios are variations of the same map, but they all have something that makes them stand out. You'll be busy for a long time even if you only want to beat every scenario once on the lowest difficulty. It took me 30 hours just to clear the first 4 story chapters. - An enormous roster of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series since I was young, and Dynasty Warriors 4 was one of my favorite games growing up. I didn’t know that Koei/Tecmo made simila games until recently, but decided to pick this game up while it was on sale. The roster is absolutely massive, featuring characters from Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Dead or Alive, and other fictional characters. The story is pretty interesting, mixing mythology, time travel, and stories from prior series. The grind…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best Musou game overall. The roster isn’t just large but diverse as well. The core gameplay is fun and interesting but it’s too easy to break the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking for a Warriors fix, this is a solid game to pick up, it has a good range of everything that makes the series fun, becoming a celebration of this era.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PC port has been done poorly, capped fps, saving happens only after missions, so if you edit your stuff before a mission and fail it or decide to do it over, you have to do those upgrades again as the game doesn't save them after you have done them, this is stupid design and frustrating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The orochi and dynasty warrior games are king of button mashing. Orochi 3 is the best out of them all, i put a good bit on WO2 on 360 and pc, but WO3 is the bestsimply because it offers the largest character selection choices, a camp ( home base thing ) , bonding level with characters, gauntlet and versus mode, and each character has costumes / outfits you can unlock, and each character out of all available 145 characters each one offers their own combo movesets, unlockable outfits and unique…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Musou game! with Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden series!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd argue it's good even if you're new. Sure, this is kind of like a big party for Warriors characters, but other than the Dynasty Warriors cast, there's also a bunch of other people I didn't even know. Oh, and Joan of Arc! I know that one! She's crap though, like not quite Diao Chan levels of crap, just crap. I've played this many years ago when it released, but briefly, I forgot that there's no English voice acting! Frankly I did really miss it in this game, some of the voice acting sounds…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you play on laptop with dual graphic, don't buy this game. This game only works if your monitor is 60hz, which i can't change it my laptop is MSI Thin GF65 10ue, only 144hz or 48hz for refresh rate. Get console and buy this game. Kinda sad KOEI didn't fix this. Graphical bug for Ma Chao musou, it will be make the enemy texture black for their hitbox. It's a good game but a bad port.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend it to players who like to unlock and test his skills on hard
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →has some bugs and crashes, otherwise the ultimate mosou experience on pc rn
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best mosou game you can buy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Warriors Orochi 3 in my opinion has to be the PEAK of the Warriors series for both Dynasty and Samurai. Everything about it scratches an itch that I've had for these game series. The Story is good, following after the first two Orochi games where the worlds of Dynasty and Samurai have been combined into one. And it introduces one of my favorite video game concepts where one is able to travel through time or points in time to prevent things from happening leading up to a united front against a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So many characters for u to grind. Difficulty also more balanced than games like dw8 and sw4.If you are looking for PS3 era hack n slash musou game you will love this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to played this game on Xbox 360 with 30 FPS. The game got better on Steam with 60 FPS. I have fun playing it again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great roster but there isn't really anything rewarding to keep me playing. used to love the dynasty warriors games but they don't really have any substance worth checking out
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is absolutely no tutorial. ( The only tip it gives you is that you can sit on horses when you are close enough. ) I played hyrule warriors , so I had a basic idea of what to do, but I still died 3 times to the same guy, that locks you in a one-hit combo at the end of level one. Also there is no option to lock on enemies on steam deck? Or there is but the game didn't bother to tell me, and I just didn't find it in the options? I don't care. This was supposed to be my first game in the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Story-wise, this game is amazing. Really, the great ratings come from its story I think. Sadly, some achievements need insane grinding, which I don't like because it's so boring pretty fast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →truly befitting the "ultimate definitive" title, got tons of dlc that worth more than the successor. you can switch your DW/SW favorite characters with their old costumes. it run solid 60 fps on steam deck, but the minor problem is main menu screen always vibrating when launching the game, gotta toggle on-off the full screen option in order to fix the problem. other than that the game runs very well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best musou game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring. Grindy. No interesting concepts. No English dub. It's one of those games that gives you the illusion of customisation of the battlefield.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the best Warriors game in my opinion. Lots to do, lots of characters, and has a very nice story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only reason i gave a thumbs up is because you keep trying, otherwise this game for me is 2/10... This is crap tbh, i just got it because i wanted Orochi 1 and didn't knew this wasn't even close to that game, sadly that game isn't on steam... i don't mean to disrespect your efforts to countinue the series but i have to tell you why it has recieved such few audiance. The graphics, hasn't evolved from the previouse titles, it's a polished version of the previouse 10 years older game Orochi…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as good as the original, only better. I love how many characters there are, all DLC included, and the fact that there's added characters in this version, including some of the things that were only in the japanese version.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →super easy then out of nowhere bosses unlimited continuation of attack till you die. Just makes absolutely no sense.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I grew up on the Dynasty warriors games and love them
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a First Time getting introduce to the Musou Series or Warriors Series. Warrior Orochi 3 have some amazing Character Rosters and Very Good Story that is very good that have Charms into them with the Characters that were Villains or Good people. To united each other to Defeat the Evil Enemies from destroying our Human World. Which is cool to see everyone gathered up fighting for the cause. Game is very grindy but easy to get, but it also easy to Level Up Quick and Level Up your Weapons super…
